A chance meeting. Right? (Private. Jun, Niko)

Amesbury, england. Compared to where she'd just come from, new york, this little town seemed.. Tame... But Gaige sensed there was something a little off about this town. Energy readings for this area were much higher than the places she passed on the way here. She guessed there was something important here if someone here hired her to come out here. 

Gaige parked the car and stepped out onto the footpath. She wore her usual, a red tshirt, blue buttoned up jacket with short sleeves, red skirt, black and white tights, sneakers, 2 belts, one which had an amulet like device with a golden v emblem on it. Her hair was tied up into messy pig tails, she wore google on her head and her left arm was an augmented robotic limb. She attracted many glances and stares. 

Gaige ignored the town folk and started walking down the street. She brought up her gps on a virtual monitor and found the location she was asked to meet the client at and made her way there. Turned out to be a bar. She walked inside, looked around and sat at the bar. "Can i get a glass of milk with a straw and one of those fancy umbrellas?" She said sitting down. The bartender looked her up and down, then shrugged. "Sure." He handed her the drink and she sipped away at it while she waited.

Finally! Land! Niko walks onto the shore, with Yuri following him possibly. He didn't check. It was his first time out of the country, so he wanted to explore what a new country looked like. So he just started randomly roaming the streets, taking in the sights that this city had to behold. Even though his first impression was the docks, Niko seemed quite impressed of the feel the city was giving overall.

The 4 foot 5 inch tall, black haired boy was wearing an open-black jacket, which was worn over his gray T-shirt with the blue text on the front saying, 'Speed Demon.' He was also wearing a worn pair of black denim jeans with combat boots tucked underneath them. Under the bottom portion of his jacket, he had his two handguns holstered onto the sides of his jeans using the belt loops.

After 10 minutes of random exploration, Niko spotted something out of the corner of his eye. A woman that seems extremely familiar, entering a bar. Not caring that he was underage, Niko wanted to quench his curiosity by finding out who this person was. After spending a good 30 seconds walking from one end of the street to the next, the boy finds himself at the bar's door. The bar was called, "Stray Sheep..." An odd name for a bar, but somehow Niko recognized that name. Why, he doesn't know why. Maybe something he has played used the phrase 'Stray Sheep' before.

The boy opens the bar door, and instantly scans the room for a familiar face. Soon enough, he sees Gaige as she sits down. Now that Niko remembers, he didn't get a good look at her Mechanical arm before, so that adds more incentive onto his idea of coming over to say hello to her. Silently, the boy walks to the bar and sits on the seat next to her, and says to the bar tender, "I'll be having what Ms. Gaige is having over here is having." Knowing that Gaige will turn to the person who said her name, Niko will smile a little, give a half-ass wave of a hand to her, and says, "Nice to see you again."

Yuri couldn't help but laugh as the kid pretty much bounced off the docks. Kai had the kid's arsenal delivered via chopper and crates. Along with the kid's ammo...and new ammo types. Including training rounds in abundant supply. He didn't have to tell his friends where to send the weapons or ammo the kid wasn't carrying with him. The man followed the munchkin.

Yuri had his hair dyed a vibrant green, with matching green colored contacts. Light applications of insta-tan made him look caucasion, instead of a very pale caucasion. For clothing, a light red and black jacket with a simple green T-shirt underneath. He also wore form fitting blue jeans and black tennis shoes. His gun and knife, like always, hidden on him.

"Welcome to Amesbury. Home of the Amesbury Magical Library ran by Angel Norman." He hoped Niko remembered that name. He's only mentioned it several times. Then Niko headed towards a bar for some odd reason. "Oi! You're underaged...have you been into a bar before?" Yuri followed close behind. Thinking about it...Niko was 14...and has killed mafia. Yuri had done worse than that when he was 14. Far worse.

He simply followed Niko, wondering what had caught his interest to come inside. He scanned the room and found where Niko was staring at. A woman...with a cybernetic arm. Yuri sat on the other side of Niko as the teenager ordered...milk...with a straw and a fancy umbrella...wierd. But at least the kid wasn't drinking alcohol. He was given vodka without even ordering it. Normally, he would push it away. But since he has drunk on par with WEREWOLVES, a little vodka was not gonna kill him.

It seemed Ms. Gaige and Niko knew each other. At least a little bit. He decided not to pry and just listened.

Gaige was sipping away at her milk when someone sat beside her and she heard her name. She glanced over as the bartender slid a second glass of milk across the counter to the boy. Gaige cracked a smile. "Well shorty. Your the last person I expected to find across the sea." She said in greeting as she tapped her robotic fingers against the counter top in a quick fluid motion that looked almost natural. Except they were robotic.


She noticed the other guy come in after Niko, and sit down with him. Gaige eyed him suspiciously, mainly because she didn't trust.. well, anyone. She didn't include Niko in that, because he was a child, and she had a soft spot when it came to kids. "So, who's your friend Niko?" She said, her left arm seased its drumming and moved to rest against her hip where she could retrieve a weapon at moments notice.

She regarded the stranger again. It seemed odd for Niko to be here, after all last time they met he was in nyc, working for the coalition. She guessed this man worked for them too, and the thought that this may be a trap entered her mind. Doubtless she would be on their most wanted list, if not because of her mother, certainly because of her line of work, and how it often crossed over to the wrong side of the law.. "I would like a proper answer, or this might get bad. Who do you work for?" She said to the stranger.

Niko, when Yuri was talking to him, keeps the information in the back of his head.  Then as the boy was walking towards the bar, Yuri yells at him and asks if he ever went into a bar before.  Niko turns his head around, and says while opening the door, "Many a time, I even drank my first whiskey last time I went to one over a week ago."

Gaige replies to Niko in a very friendly, but surprised way, which made the boy internally somewhat happy.  "Same thing to you missy," Niko says back with a grin.  He keeps looking at the arm of this woman.  Niko looks behind him and sees Yuri in another one of his disguises.  Then Gaige asks him who this guy was.  Before Niko answered, the boy noticed Gaige's change from tapping and moving to her hip.  Remembering that Gaige has a mechanical arm and has a gun, this could be bad.  Huh, her paranoia reminds her of someone. "Well, this paranoid person right besides me is called Yuri.  You know, in a way, I can see a couple similarities between you two right now. Anyways; Yuri, Gaige. Gaige, Yuri." During the last to sentences he nodded towards the people who he was saying names too.

Then she asked the stranger for a proper answer.  Wanting to answer for Yuri, Niko says, "Don't worry Gaige.  Yuri is a hired mercenary who is hired to train me, hired by Kai.  Ya know, leader of the Coalition blah blah blah.  That is one part of the similarities that I mentioned." The boy takes off his little beret and puts it in his jacket's pocket, revealing the rest of his black hair that looks like as if it hadn't been combed. Flipping bedhead that can't be combed down.

He hopes Yuri can help calm Gaige down, cause he really didn't want to have a problem right now.

Yeah...Yuri just shrugged it off. Drinking and killing a mafia...ha! He'd definitely done worse things when he was 14.

He scowled at Niko. Seriously? Little jerk...he didn't know this woman and would rather not let her know his real name. His left hand, the one with a cyan ring on the middle finger that was a reiatsu suppressor, but still couldn't contain all his reiatsu, took the glass of vodka and sipped it. His right want around his back for his pistol. She was fully intending to strike. Yuri's eyes narrowed. "You heard the kid. Just know that my money is coming from Kai, and not the Coalition. Now, if you remove your robotic hand from your hip, I'll move my right hand away from my back. My reinforcements, should you somehow manage to beat me, are closer than any of yours."

As if to back up his claims, seven werewolves stood up and glared and growled like the wolves that they were at her, eyes glowing yellow, as if they were ready to transform. Yuri also pointed his left thumb at her, somehow managing to keep his drink in his hand. Four white magic circles appeared. One above, one below, one between Niko and Gaige, and one behind her. White blades of holy energy poked out from each circle. It was a warning that he could annihilate her with just a point of the finger. He'd done that before to some cocky shithead in Milan. That was a nice stress reliever. He desummoned them after ten seconds.

Hopefully that succeeded in intimidating her and told her to back off. Even if she stayed on guard. The bartender looked more than a little frightened. "Um...Yuri has crushed an entire city before...don't think he couldn't destroy you...so...please calm down...I'll give you both drinks on the house if you do and put your hands away from your weapons..."

Yuri glared at the bartender. That was to remain secret. Permanently. Two of the wolves took everyone except the Niko, Yuri, and Gaige outside...the back more specifically. When they came in...they were all bloody. As if they had just massacred all eight people besides them in the alley...which they did.

Niko introduced his friend who turned out to be a teacher of some kind. He may be a mercenary, but that didn't mean anything really. Mercenary's only got along when they were working together, and having the same profession didn't mean they could trust each other. The kid seemed quite fixated on her arm, and openly stared at it.

"I'm well aware of the abnormals in the bar. I can sense them. You know for someone who feels so strong, you certainly don't seem to believe in fair odds. Ganging up on a girl must make you feel so good about yourself." She said to Yuri. Her hand moved from her hip back onto the counter. "I'm not so irresponsible that i'd start fighting where a kid could get hurt, though. I was just being cautious, I tend to do that when it comes to the coalition." Gaige said. She watched the werewolves leave, and come back covered in blood, but it didn't bother her. Death was nothing to fret about when one stood on its precipice every day.

"Niko, I get the feeling you want to ask about my arm." She said, smiling again. "I've got a bit of time before my employer arrives it seems. They obviously dont believe in punctuality around here. Not that I mind. The locals are so warm and charming. Anyway, ask away." Gaige certainly seemed less defensive now, but she was still on guard, and her arm held a little surprise for anyone who tried anything stupid.

"God Damnit Yuri," was what Niko muttered when Yuri started with the threats.  Then the werewolf posee he had popped up, which made another crease on the boy's brow.  Then the boy's brow was raised when the bartender mentioned that Yuri destroyed a city before.  Which made Niko turn to Yuri with a curious looking, and says, "You're going to tell me all about that before the day is over..."

What happened next made Niko angry.  A handful of werewolves pushing people out the back of the bar and then coming back in...  all bloodied up.  The boy smashes his hand into the mug, shattering the glass onto the coutnertop and into his own hand, then says with complete anger in his voice, "Why...  Why was that necessary!?  They had their own lives that did not involve our own.  They had families whom they cared for and were cared by...  Why did you just pointlessly murder innocent people!?" Niko had killed people before.  But they had a reason as to why they needed to die...  but these people.  All they were, were just people at the wrong place at the wrong time.  Nothing more, yet they were casually murdered, and both people played it off as normal.  What the fuck!?

Then Gaige started talking to Niko, noticing his interest in her arm.  This made the boy calm down a little because he really was interested.  She then allows him to ask questions.  Niko says with a calm voice that still had a very small tinge of anger, "What happened to your original arm?  And did you make that yourself, because it isn't anything like I have seen?  Also, would you accept my apolgy for Yuri and his friends' hostile action?"  That final question was followed up by a glare from Niko towards Yuri and his group of bloodied up werewolves.  And to Niko's absence of caring, he was bleeding profusely out of his shard ridden right hand.

Yuri snorted. "For all I know, you can destroy armies with a wave of your hand. Life isn't fair. If it turned out you were weaker than me, but strong enough so that you wouldn't get killed, so be it. I may be wary of the Coalition myself, hell I wouldn't cry if they got destroyed, but you were taking it a little too far." Yuri stopped when Niko suddenly got pissed. Probably because of his friends killing several people. Which was confirmed a minute later. Yuri immediately started healing him with his spell.

Yuri answered for is friends. "Because that idiot said that a little too loudly. Everyone heard it. If it was just the four of us, then it would have only been him. That was supposed to stay secret...permanently. Kai I trust just enough to not let that slip. He knows I would never use that spell against a mostly civilian population. I don't think he even knew I knew that particular spell until he saw it all over the news. Either way, I have a huge ass target on my back now. Well, larger than what it already was. Not just from everyone else that didn't want my albino ass nailed to their office doors and now do, but also the Espada! The arrancar! Those partially masked monsters that would destroy cities without a second thought! Kill maim and probably rape! Only reason they didn't usher you out to join them was because you're my charge and a member of the Coalition. Gaige wasn't ushered out because she's a mercenary. Mercenaries can be bought to keep their mouths shut. It's a contract. So let's negociate that, Ms. Gaige. After Niko satisfies his curiosity."

Yuri himself was pissed off. Like he was ever going to let out what happened or what city. Though it should have been obvious. Niko was smart. It should be known by now that the spell that destroyed Chicago was a holy spell. Yuri used holy magic for the most part. Even wielded the Heaven's Gate holy sword. He was now unbelievably nervious. But that didn't show.

"Taking it to far would have been pulling out my pistol and putting a round of lightning in your brain. Again, just being cautious." Niko didn't react to well to the people being taken outside and murdered. "Well it seems i stumbled on something interesting. Niko, sorry to say Yuri's right. If the arrancar find out who he is, they wont stop until he's dead. That puts you and anyone else associated with him in danger. Maybe they had families, but they'd be dead anyway if the arrancar decided to question them, along with their families, and most everyone in this town, werewolf or not."

Gaige looked at yuri at the mention of a contract. "I'm not going to say shit. Let the arrancar and coalition play with each other all they like, maybe some good will come out of it. If I go talking about what you did, that'll give the arrancar someone else to focus on and give the coalition a break to find something else to stick their nose in." She said. Besides, she wasn't interested in who destroyed Chicago. And it was obvious that's what this was all about, she didn't need her genius intellect to figure out he was the one who'd done it thanks to the mouthy bartender.

Gaige then adressed Yuri's questions. "I removed it surgically using a special machine, that mounted the robotic one right after. My father was furious, as you can imagine. Also Probably the most painful thing I've done to myself, but I was building something that required more dexterity and precision than my off hand could supply, and I didn't have time for mistakes." She said.

"Yeah, I built the arm myself. Its a more practical model than what the coalition offers, and I didn't see a point in making it look all fleshy, seeing as its a self augmentation. Its made of high quality alloys my father developed, incredibly hard to cut and break. Its significantly stronger than my main arm too. And" Gaige flicked her wrist and a blade slid out from under the top plate of the forearm. "It has a built in blade along with a few other things that I wont go into detail on, or I'll never stop talking about it." Gaige flicked her wrist again and the blade vanished, and then took a deep breath and drank half the glass of milk. She seemed quite happy now, which was natural for her because talking about technology was one of her favorite pass times.

"Don't worry about it. I'm sure there has been worse first meetings than this. I know I've had worse. "

Niko remains silent at both of their comments, as he knows that no matter what he says, nothing will probably change their mind about killing others to keep themselves safe...  But Niko really wanted to know what city...  Wait, it couldn't be that black spot he drove past on the way to New York, could it?  Niko had no idea of the Chicago incident, and will need to discuss it with Yuri later.  But for now, he had a woman with a mechanical arm to talk to.  Even though Niko knew it was pointless, he says, "And that completely justifies massacre: the slaughter of defenseless, innocent people doing absolutely nothing wrong."  As Niko said this, he felt a flashback...  A flashback of a recent memory...  The memory of his mother getting slaughtered/massacred by the mafia-type men, which made Niko of the present feel worse than he did a couple weeks ago.

As he was listening to Gaige, in the back of his head the boy felt a raging storm.  A storm of depression and disbelief in the world.  Two times defenseless, innocent people were slaughtered around him.  Two times he has lived while those innocents were dead.  Two times the boy wasn't able to do anything about it.  This made the dark haired boy's eyes stop shining, and practically revert to the blank, empty, death-like stare he had after his mother's death.  In fact, even worse as this was done by people who practically knew it.  AND they justified killing defenseless people...  People he was starting to like, practically justifying one of the pure sins: murder.  And while he was thinking about this, there were things that the boy realized.  They wouldn't have died if Yuri wasn't such a paranoid freak that he has to rely on intimidating everyone, because as a side-effect he intimidated the bartender to release the information to try and further intimidate Gaige into nonviolence.

Gaige practically finishes up what she was saying, then goes on to say that it wasn't her worst first meeting.  Keeping his empty gaze down at the bar, the boy says with a tinge of dark emptiness, "Well, I've had bad first meetings before, but this one was probably the worst one by far.  The one between you and Yuri, that is.  Oh, and Yuri, I'm going to help you while you teach me.  I'm going to teach you to calm the fuck down and stay clear minded instead of instantly resorting to intimidation techniques when you meet people.  Your intimidation caused the bartender to try and help you intimidate Gaige in order to lessen the chance of violence.  In other words, try to stay cool and friendly, even when others are not.  You know, Gaige, that reminds me of the encounter between you and that friendly woman who had beaten the crap out of the gang people who had bad intentions against you in that one alleyway.  You pulled out a blade on her if I remember correctly.  I even was calm and relaxed at that moment.  I didn't even think for a moment of trying to force you to put your gun down, because hostility can't kill more hostility...  ya know?"

All the while, he kept his gaze downward as he waved his hand a little while he talked.  Most of this conversation bit was to both let Yuri know that he needs to learn how to calm the fuck down, and how to stay calm while being wary, and the first lesson being hostility can't override more hostility as it would only create more hostility.

Yuri nodded. "Yeah...I would think everyone here has had better first encounters..." He stayed quiet as he heard vehicles pull up. The clean up crew more than likely. The two that had done the did looked a bit nervous...as if they knew something. He let it go...for now. And listened.

He nearly busted up laughing at Niko. "Gaige was reaching for a weapon to intimidate me first. Or blow my brains out. Or, what was it that you said? Electrocute my brain? If all she did was insult me, then so be it. But the second someone attempts to pull a weapon, all bets are off. Truthfully, I don't think the bartender was worried about my safety...more than likely his own bar's. Besides...I have a feeling my two friends here are nervious about something...I'm guessing Angel has been called?" The two nodded and got themselves their own glasses for the vodka. He sighed and just waited.

A couple minutes later, the door busted open to show a five foot eight woman with natural yellow eyes, average bust size, long brown hair, and lightly tanned sashy her way into the bar. Flanked by two six foot six men. All dressed nicely. "You know how to stir up a hornet's nest. Between you and Kai, I have no idea which is worse." She hugged Yuri's back. Just a few moments later, several more wolves showed up from the back, putting an array of pistols on the counter...and a peice of skin with a very familiar mafia symbol...the same one that one suit that first found Niko had on his clothes. "Guess the country of origin that creates these pistols. And notice the number of them."

Yuri barely had to look. And an icey chill ran down his spine. "All Italian make. Everyone except the bartender...just enough for one for each. So much for them all being innocent. *Cue pointed stare at Niko* Why were they here?" He looked at Gaige. It really wasn't a question. They should all know it by now if they had a brain.

Angel nodded and held out her hand to the woman. "Angel Norman. Pleasure. Sorry to have killed off your potential employers...perhaps I can give you a possibly more lucrative contract." After shaking hands with her, it would have been obvious that she was ignoring Niko.

Yuri spun around with the glass of vodka to face Angel. She continued. "Yuri...they hired Annabell. Their headquarters are in Rome of all places too." Her voice was dire and worried.

Yuri's eyes widened and dropped his glass. It wasn't the location...it was Annabell Munroe's name. "I'm gonna squeeze out as much money out of Kai as possible. Fighting her once was one too many times...though the Rune Blade will make it easier to fight her this time. I'm not gonna wait any longer. Let's go Munchkin. Time to start your training." He got up. But didn't move. He was still a bit horrified that he'll fight Anna again...

Gaige listened to what Niko had to say. Then she nodded. "Your right I suppose. Blondie turned out to be nice. But I wasn't reaching for it to intimidate you. Just shoot you if you made a wrong move. But that aside. I heard a car... Should we be worried?" She said. The two werewolves certainly looked worried, and she was detecting allot of stress from them. So much so that she'd completely failed to notice Niko's own stress levels rising, though that may have partially been because she was to busy running her mouth.

A few seconds after she heard the cars outside, a woman walked into the bar, flanked by two large burly men. More werewolves, she guessed. Men came in from the back, carrying weapons and a chunk of skin that they put down on the bar. Gaige looked over the weapons and the tattoo. She didn't recognize it but it took only a few seconds to search the right database to find out what it was. The guns were obvious to her though. "I can only assume they were here to hire me but your appearance held them up. Or they were here to kill me, good luck with that meager firepower. I'm thinking you two know something about this? They were hiring me to kill you yuri?" Gaige asked. And then her face darkened.

"Or... They were going to hire me to kill Niko..." If that was the case she would freak out. "Fucking mafia bastards! I don't kill kids. I don't even entertain the idea of killing kids. I'd have shot them all on the spot, so you guys saved me some hassle." Then she calmed down, smiled and shook angels hand. "Gaige Ashe, Nice to meet you. Yeah, I think I'm interested. Any dirty prick who tries to kill a child deserves to be strung up by the ankles and castrated. I'll settle for helping him eat a bullet."

"Annabel? Why do you look so shocked Yuri?" Gaige asked. "Well, lets discuss the contract, then I can go and get myself prepared. If anyone is in need of some high tech equipment, now would be the time to ask I guess."
