Subject: Niko Viction - 14 year old Gunslinger - finished Sat Jun 01, 2013 5:18 am
Human
Basic Information
Name: Niko Viction Age: 14 True Age: 14 Sex: Male Personality: Niko is a weird person in general. He seldomly uses the similar social that probably every normal person would use. He talks in a kind of way that makes it seem that he overthinks everything. Plus his actions are also what would be out of the norm. Whereas the masses would gather, he would flee into isolation. He usually keeps drifting, but most of the time he returns to at least one location most of the time...
His speech seems as if it is thought through way to many times, and he answers questions in a bit of a smartass kind of way. An example of which is that he would question someone's eyesight if they ask what he's doing while looking at him. Sure it is a general type of question, but he takes it in a seriously smartass kind of way.
Niko is a bit anti-social, pretty much liking to staying in his own little world; his personal bubble; his own mind. It takes him a handful of seconds before he registers what someone says through his own mind, so his responses are for the most part delayed by time. However, two topics that he could actually get into is when someone talks about his motorcycle or his guns. Those two things are his pride and joy, because most of the things are things that he made himself. Hell, he even made his own motorcycle himself.
Niko is pretty casual most of the time. Niko does not avoid social interaction, if that's what you think. In fact, he can be talkative but in a bit of an antisocial way. It's a confusing way to explain it, I know... But what is more of the point is that Niko is very laid back, even when confronted with death. Some could even say that he actually accepts the idea of death. One thing that can be said, though, is that he has a deep seated hatred for criminals, especially murderers or people who hurt others a lot.
Likes: Driving his motorcycle, Fiddling with his guns or his motorcycle, relaxing, being antisocial, the idea of being a drifter Fears: Breaking his gun or motorcycle, being interrogated (literally and metaphorically), Not being able to find his gun
Character Appearance
Height: 4 foot 5 inches Weight: 110 lbs Physical Traits: Clothing: The above, and other various things that center around the above clothing style. Also, a white undershirt tanktop is underneath the dark grey/olive overcoat. Accessories: Only a live sniper bullet on a silver chained necklace underneath his overcoat, over his undershirt.
Plus a motorcycle that he usually drives around... >.>
Spoiler:
Fighting Style
General Fighting Style: Niko most of the time keeps his enemies away at long distances. And also goes for a hit and run style. If he gets within striking distance, even though it pains Niko so much, he would use his larger guns, such as his shotgun or his rifles, to counter melee fighters. When using his guns, he usually resorts to his dual revovler magnums, that's mainly if he is in medium-to-close range of his enemies. If the enemies get to close, he'll start using his shotgun. If the enemies get to far away, he'll start using his rifle. Strengths: Niko excells in speed and dexterity, which helps a lot when he needs to move somewhere very quickly while reloading his weapons. Niko also has somewhat good defenses and strength, as they are only somewhere above average by a small amount. He also has great reflexes, which kind of contrary to his slow social reaction time... Weaknesses: No abilities at all... He can be taught very basic abilities like Blur, but he won't get any (or at least a small handful) of abilities. Niko can not take many hits, as his endurance is not long lasting. His height makes him unable, to some degree, unable to hit objects in the sky.
Weapons
Reload Rules - Reloads for guns cannot be in the same post shot for that specific gun...
Clip Change rules - Niko can only change clips once per post, but can not fire after changing the clips unless he hasn't fired before the clip changed in that post.
Name: Dual Revolvers Appearance: Clip Size: 6 Chambers = 6 Bullets Maximum per gun Ammo Types: . Explosive Rounds - causing a mini explosion of 1 inch diameter around impact point. . Incendiary Rounds - Catches anything it touches on fire, due to the bullet having a gasoline tip that ignites upon impact . Acidic Rounds - Rounds that would tear and dissolve through hierros with much ease, or at least easier than regular bullets if the hierro's strong enough . Concussion Rounds - Dummy Rounds that still give the same kind of feel as regular bullets without the lethality . Regular Rounds - ... Just regular bullets Side Note about this weapon: Both of these guns were made from scratch by Niko himself. Also his first, and best, piece of work. Total Amount of Rounds per thread: 120 bullets per thread (since this is the main guns), plus 12 bullets per special type of bullet
Name: 'Rifell' Appearance: Clip Size: 8 Bullets per clip Ammo Types: . Acidic Clip - Tears and Dissolves through hierros with ease, or at least easier than most other bullets . Concussion Clip - The same force of a bullet, minus most of the lethality . Regular Clip - Just a regular clip holding regular bullets. . Smoke Clip - The bullets in these clips make blinding smoke that no one can see through with ease in a twenty foot radius of bullet impact. The smoke only lasts 1 cycle of posting (dissipates on my next post). Side Note about this weapon: This weapon was handmade by his own sister, which he uses for his own purposes, and treasures it as dear as he holds his sister. Total Amount of bullets per thread: 5 Clips (40 bullets total) per thread total, and 1 clip per special bullet
Name: Shotgun Appearance: Clip Size: 4 shells maximum Ammo Types: . Acidic Shells - Tears and Dissolves through hierros with ease, or at least easier than most other shells. . Rubber Shells - Full of rubber pellets that bounce around at high velocities, while having less lethality then regular pellets . Regular Shells - Still lethal shells . Blast Shells - These are dummy rounds at their fullest, because it fires blanks. The point of these shells are to blast himself away from an area, as the recoil these blast shells are so extreme that it can push him back 10 feet each time he pulls the trigger. That, and its also mainly used to fake out the enemy. Side Note about this weapon: This is the second weapon Niko made himself. Although he didn't entirely make it from scratch, he still made most of this gun as the only thing that he didn't make himself was the metallic chambers and barrel of the gun... His sister made that part instead. Total Amount of Shells per thread: 20 Shells per round total, plus 4 rounds for every special shell

History, Part 1
Perception is an easy thing to manipulate, for better or worse
For the longest time, Niko thought of himself as being a normal child. He had two parents that loved him so much, he had everything he wanted... Life was fine. As long as he could remember, he was always happy. Hell, even the leople that were usually mean respected him enough to not mess with him.
His father was a successful businessman and his mother was a talented scientist. Niko has no idea, or even a clue, as to how mom and dad are similar enough to share the feelings of love or bonding, but he didn't question it at all. He had a happy life, so why should he?
His father usually took him out hunting, at least twice per week. This had allowed Niko to bond with his father. His father brought a different gun for Niko to shoot with after each hunting trip. Through these trips, Niko gained experience to use a multitude of weapons. When the two could not go hunting due to one reason or another, Niko's father would take him to his favorite club or somewhere else where there was a shooting range, and helped teach Niko to use guns more easilly.
Niko's mother, on the other hand, taught him how to create chemicals, saying that it is a fun hobby to do as a past-time. She taught him how to make many chemicals , but the one thing that she did the most was help him create chemicals that either cause burning or dissolving. Niko was always amazed by how his mother could create those chemicals, and was even more glad that she taught him how to do make many chemicals.
Well, it was his tenth birthday when he first met his sister. In fact, it was also on that day that he moved to live with his much, older sister on the other side of the United States, in a remote location in the state of Nevada. His sister lived in a building that served as both a home and as an auto repair shop, since his sister works as a mechanic. Even though she lived in a barren, uninhabitted section of the world, the repair shop had many customers. At first, Niko was kind of shy and somewhat scared of his new sister, since she did not live as clean or sophisticated or at least somewhat like how he lived back with his parents. Months later, however, he learned to love his newfounded lifestyle of assisting his rowdy, tomboyish, outspoken sister.
Niko's sister was named Haruko, but Niko calls her Haru. Niko saw Haru as a tall woman, who stood at a firm 5 foot 9 inches, at the age of 31. She has short, slightly unlempt auburn red hair that always seemed to be shifted to her left side. Haru has a small, jagged scar on the bottom right side of her lip, which wasn't noticeable unless you were staring inches away from her face. Her face was rounded and always gave a feeling of cheeriness; it was extremely hard to be anything except happy when in her company. There were two attires she accustomed to wear, one being a pair of denim jeans with a thin white tanktop, both of which she would wear underneath her mechanics-uniform. The second attire was some motorcycle clothes that were always a light black tint that seemed to bounce light off her curved figure.
As he lived with her, she had him help her fix the cars that came in and tutors him in the ways of mechanics. Along with having him learn skills to fix up broken down cars and analyze what is wrong with a vehicle, Haru also teaches him how to create vehicles from scratch, but focuses heavily on creating motorcycles, as less resources are needed to create and maintain them.
As he lived with Haru, he was somewhat sad that he and his dad can't go on hunting trips anymore. One day, Haru overheard Niko saying that aloud and realized his fascination with guns. So, on his eleventh birthday, Haru made and give a handmade rifle to him. This, to Niko, was the best thing ever, and Haru was glad that she made him happy. In fact, she started teaching him how to make weapons himself.
Something else Haru had done on Niko's eleventh birthday was giving him the keys to the scrapyard a mile away from their home, so that he could work on a vehicle that he could one day drive. With the experience Niko got by working with his sister, he does this in less than a year since then. In fact, he was able to have a working vehicle after a whole seven months after he was given the keys to the scrapyard. He built his own motorcycle. He was so proud of himself, but he had no idea how to drive it.
Haru finding this out, she helped Niko out, and by the time his birthday came by again, Niko became an intermediate cyclist. Niko was having the time of his life. But, as the saying goes, 'All Good things must come to an end'
The contents of this spoiler will be my RP sample, but this RP sample is the events that took place which caused Niko to start his life of being an anti-social, drifting loner at such a young age... After the RP sample, the second part of his history will be explained:
RP Sample
It was a scorching summer today in the Nevada deserts. I wonder why Haru doesn't get that air conditioning unit replaced already. It has been a full week since I fixed it, and it already broke down. Although I do understand that we don't have the money this time of the year, since no one has arrived by to get their cars fixed... We are too damn good.
These were thoughts that Nico was having this evening, as he was working on the third prototype of his pistol. The first exploded as he test fired it, which could have blasted his hand off if he did not test it from afar with a string pulling the trigger. The second test was actually a success, but the gun was way to heavy to hold with a single hand, like it was a little under twenty pounds. So that prototype was a failure. This time he was aiming for a slim design that has less weight but without compromising too much power.
"Niko~! I might need your help in a minute. Could you come down here in a second?" A loud, bubbly female voice rang through the house.
It was Haru. Nico smiles, as he believes that he needs a break from making the prototype. The young, thirteen year old boy pushes the prototype to the extreme left side of his desk as he stands up. He turns around and picks up a small sized jumpsuit, a custom design mechanics suit that has Haru's mechanic's logo on it. Riveting Fixes, all made of nuts and bolts for letters. He quickly slips it on and walks downstairs. Two doors faced him at the bottom of the stairs, the right leading into the house portion of the building, the left leading to the workshop portion of the building. Niko opens the left door and walks into the workshop.
"It's only been thirty seconds... Do you need my help thirty seconds from now or can I sit down and wait," Niko says with a sly grin. He picks up a nearby wrench and tosses it up in the air, catching it as it comes back down.
"For the first time, you might be right," Haru jokingly says, turning around from her worktable to face Niko. She's wearing a worn down version of her mechanics outfit. It is too tight on her skin, but she won't let go of that piece of clothing until it practically bursts into flames. She continues with, "I see a car coming down the road a half mile away. It might be a customer since there is no one around for tens of miles~!"
You can practically see the excitement and joy radiating off her bouncing body, as she is literally hopping up and down without letting her toes leaving the cracked floor of the workshop. She waves Niko over and points down the road. You then can hear her gasp. Niko walks over too, and looks in the general direction Haru was gazing down. He sees why she gasps, as he counts not one, but three cars. Strangely, they all have the same car model... and the same car color... and tinted windows. Weird.
Haru turns around and grabs Niko on the shoulder, having a look of hiding something, as she is not good at hiding things. Her lip can be seen quivering, but at the time Niko did not have any idea why. She smiles, wiping as much doubt as she has from her face, and says to Niko in a soft voice, "Would... Would you go downstairs and grab me the... um... Damn, what are they called again? OH, grab me the spare engine parts in the basement. Thanks!"
Niko was confused by all of this, but having no reason to actually worry about the situation he nods and walks down into the basement. As he walked down the creaky wooden stairs, he pulls on a string and turns on the lights in the basement. He scans the basement quickly and spots the corner of the engine pieces in the corner of the room. He runs over there, and as he ran to it, a faint click could be heard nearby, but Niko thought he just stepped on a cockroach or something.
Lifting the heavy box of engine parts, he struggles to walk towards the stairs. He trips and falls to the ground, hitting the ground making a loud amount of clattering noise. However, at the same time, a very Loud 'bang' punctured the air. At first, Niko thinks it was one of the cars breaking down as Haru opened the hood of the car. But he was wrong. Many more loud bangs rang in the air, which made Niko's eyes widen.
'What in the Sam Hell is happening!?' was just one of the thoughts that went through his head. He kicked over the engine pieces and scans the room for a weapon of any kind in the basement, as he now recognizes the loud noises as gunshots. He finds an old rifle right under where the engine pieces were, and quickly darts up the stairs. He grabs the doorknob and turns it, finding that he is unable to. He tries to twist it again, but to no avail.
He was panicking now. He was locked down here and shit is going down. Seeing no other choice, he aims the rifle at the door lock and pulls the trigger, but nothing comes out of the rifle. Niko smacks his forehead, 'Ammo!'.
Niko opens a drawer of a broken down desk, that is missing two of its legs, and pulls out bullets for his rifle. He grabs a whole 30 of them, not knowing if he needs that many or not. As he starts loading spare clips with the bullets, he can hear screams... Male screams. Why would the attackers be screaming?
Niko runs to the door again, cocks the rifle, and pulls the trigger as he aims at the door lock. The doorknob is blown off with such force that the door blasts open. The boy runs out and felt like screaming in fear.
Monsters... All of them... Both of them are monsters. He witnesses monsters attacking suited men with guns, but what makes him want to scream all the more i that he sees Haru on his side of the workshop, sitting behind one of the worktables, holding onto her own red-stained gut. Those bastards shot her.
With an scream of anger, Niko unleashes fire on the attackers. He quickly picks off the distracted suited men, as a masked monster was attacking them. One... Two... Three... Five... Seven suited men die by Niko's bullets, as the eigth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelth were murdered by the masked monster. Shooting once more, but this time at the monster, the bullet seems to phase through the monster as if it didn't affect it. What the hell is this thing!?
The monster screams an awful shriek at the little boy, as it finishes off the final suited man. It looked like a Millipede with scissor bladed arms, with a mask that had a face that not even a mother could love.
Niko was afraid that he was going to die, but for some reason the monster grabs all of the dead suited men and drag them away into the desert, fading into the distance.
Niko drops the rifle and runs to Haru's side, and says in a panicked, shocked voice, "We need to get a damn ambulance, get you to the hospital, get you fixed up." Tears are escaping his panicked eyes. He was practically shaking in fear. He didn't want to lose his sister... He didn't want to lose her!
Then a slightly wet hand touches the side of his cheek. Niko stops shaking as he looks into Haru's fading eyes. She looks peaceful for someone who is dying. She says slowly in a calm voice, "Niko... My little brother... I... Nee-... Need you to... do some-... thing... It's important that... you do this... Go into my roo-... room... Pull off... the painting of the sunset I... made with you a year... ago... Inside is a safe... The password... is your name... Please read what's inside... And know... That-..."
Niko shouts at her, interupting her, "Don't say that! Don't say it! You're going to be just fine, Everything will be just fine! We'll get you help, we can get you fixed up, we still be a happy family together! Please don't die on me! Pleeeaasseee!!!" Snot is now running down his face, alongside a constant stream of tears.
All Haru does is smile at Niko, and against his wishes, says to him, "That I love you... I love you as a little brother... Just know, that... Whatever happens... Just remember... I always though... of you... much... muuuch... more... than... as a... Dear... Sweet... Little.. Brothe-..." As soon as she gets to the end of the word, her voice stops coming out and her heartbeat is slowing rapidly to a halt, along with her breathing. She goes limp, and her bloodied left hand falls down from Niko's cheek, leaving a bloodied hand smear on his face.
Niko, still crying his heart out, notices something odd in what she says... 'She thought of me more that as a little brother!? The hell does that mean, does it mean that she had feelings of deep love for me or something!?!? SHE'S MY BIG SISTER!!! What the hell is she saying!?'
After an hour of sitting there, crying and mourning the loss of his sister, he slowly gets up and decides to honor her final wishes. He slumps over and struggles to get his stiff body moving, which froze by the death of Haruko. By the time he reached upstairs, the sun was already setting. It was as if it was saying that no matter what cruelties happen to him, life still goes on. Whether or not they leave some poor innocent person dead, leaving the closest relatives in deep, deep sorrow and grief.
He tears down the painting of the sunset, and throws it on Haru's grease and oil stained bed sheets. He finds a keyboard safe, that has four underlines which are waiting for letters to be entered...

The green computer screen on the monitor turns dark as the lock disengages and pops the safe open. What was inside was a book.. A journal of sorts.
He puts his hands on the leathered surface and pulls it out of the safe. He notices opens the book and starts reading... Some of the words are scrawled out and some words are too smudged to be legible.. Only a handful of pages were readable...
'DAY ---------- MONTH --------
Today, I was spying on the Victori family again. It appears as if they have a child now. This might compromise my job, as I might need to kill the child if the need arises. Hopefully it does not come to that. - Haruko'
'DAY ------------- MONTH ----------
Niko... Niko Victori... A beautiful kid, for such a disgusting family. How could they attempt tainting the innocene of a child!? The only good thing that this kid has so far is the bliss that comes from his ignorance of his family of murderers... I was hired by Mr. Victori and one day, while I was having a conversation with him, a Four year old child comes walking into the room and is smiling at me and Mr. Victori. The man had a look of disgust on his face, but only as he looked away from the child. The child kept asking for papa, but he just kept saying no and tells him to look for his mother. Heartless Bastard... And he has the nerve to tell me, when the child walks out, that he is breeding his child to become the successor!? I nearly blew my cover as I was using all of my strength to keep myself from strangling the life out of this prick's body. - Haruko'
'DAY ----- MONTH -----------
It's been 8 years since I have been working for the Victori family, and I have ascertained that they truly believe that these scum are going to breed him to become the ruler of the world one day. His father keeps teaching the kid how to use guns, while the mother keeps teaching poor Niko how to create the tools of destruction. What the actual hell are they!? Demons? Heartless? Nobodies? Because even Mafia Crimelords would supposedly have at least a small heart to love a child as a child and nothing more. Niko is 9 years old, and he is going to be introduced to the world of crime in a couple years. I overheard Mr. Victori talking about it with his wife. They apparently hid the Victori identity from Niko, calling him Niko Viction. A poor excuse of a cover-up, I know, but apparently it passed with Niko. They act as if he doesn't even belong in the family by giving him that name. They infuriate me to no ends on their determination to ruin this child. If I don't act soon, I might really have to assist and killing the kid as well as the parents. I hope I can do something - Haruko'
'DAY --------- MONTH ----------
It's almost Niko's 10th birthday... the day that the Victori's plan to introduce Niko to the world of crime is going to unfold. I had recently learned that Niko really isn't the blood child of the Victoris. In fact, he does not even have any relation to them. It seems as if my supervisor was right in saying that Niko really was my child. Damn doctors accidentally giving my son to them. They knew of their position and were afraid that if they knew that one of the twins died an hour after child birth, he would die, so he used a child with a similar last name to replace the deceased twin. The discovery of our given away child drove my husband to commit suicide a couple days afterwards. I joined the Secret Service to protect the law, not to have everyone stolen away from me. I decided to turn in my Secret Service badge, as I told my superiors that no matter what, I will not kill my own child... I will not abandon him to the Victori family either. They gave me an ultimatum... Either take a mission that risks my own life to save my child, but losing my position in this job... Or help out in the mission to wipe out the Victori family, and keep my job. I chose the former... - Haruko Viction'
'DAY ----------- MONTH ------------
It's been two years since I have been living with my son again. I couldn't outright tell my little Niko that I'm his mother, but it pains me so much to tell him that I'm only his big sister. If I told him I was his mother, I know that his life would be turned upside down and he would question his life with the Victoris, as it would bring up his repressed memories. He pushed his memories so far down inside himself that he truly believes that they were nothing but good parents doing their job to raise a son... my son, technically... It's saddening to see this... I know he will have to know the truth one day, as I might not be there to tell him myself soon, as the Victoris are still alive even after the purge, and are pissed that I took their "child"... I know they will come looking for me, and that's why I am spending every waking moment giving Niko my love. I know if they took Niko back, they will put him in a life that is as doubly cruel as before, and I don't want that for my little Niko. I want him to have a normal life, having a normal job with a normal home and a normal family doing normal things. But the way that the secret service themselves came out here to let us know that the Victoris are looking for us means that I might disappear in months, maybe a year or two. And I know that when I'm dying, I'll tell Niko to find this diary. and When you're reading this Niko, I want you to know that I love you... I loved you more than anything else in the world, and I want you to pursue a happy life. I hope I don't ever have to give this to you in the circumstances of my death, but instead many years later when you are able to handle the news of your previous life with the Victoris... Please make your mother proud, and keep being your happy little weird self... - Your loving Mother, Haruko...'
A couple splatters of liquid splash against the last page, one of the splashes smudging a part of the paragraph. The tears within Niko are flowing again, and coming out at a faster rate then when he realizes his sister died. Now he realizes that his mom is dead too. As soon as he realizes it, some memories are returning to him. Memories of him being locked in a room to read book in his free time, being given paltry meals, only being let out to hunt with his father, who shot at him when he missed the hunted animal, and make chemicals that she tested on Niko himself to see if they worked.
Niko was shaking uncontrollably now, not only out of sadness....... but out of anger as well... He hated his parents... He haaaated them. He can't believe he thought they were his loving parents, the most abusive parents ever. And upon realization of his memories, his anger rises as Haru was right about being his mother. He knew he loved her far more as a sister, but he had no idea why. I guess maternal bonds go further than sibling bonds... That and his anger rose because his fake family killed the only family he had left. He wanted to scream out loud, get all the anger out of him, but he didn't... He held it in, because it's pointless to scream.
He puts the book down and walks downstairs, entering the workshop in the dark of night, having enough light to see the lifeless eyes of his mother, still looking as sweet and solemn as they were before she died. Only being different in how the eyes were dark, where the light known as her soul had filled her lively-body. Niko pulls his hand over his mother's face, and closes her eyes. He murmurs to himself audibly, saying in a shaking, sorrowful, solemful, sad voice, "I'm sorry Har-... I'm sorry Mom... I can't fulfill your wish of living a normal life, as they stole my life from me since the moment I was born, and stole even more by taking you away from me... I'm sorry, but I'll always love you..."
History Part 2: Even if the world is nothing but an illusion, every impression that it left is not fake
Even though Niko's mother lied to him, having him call her sister all these years, Niko didn't feel like he was being lied to. He felt that being known as a sister only changed how he thought of her as a title, not as a whole. Niko feels that he got to know his mother so well that year. The day after Niko lost his mother, he turned fourteen. At which, he starts working on guns to create. He completes a set of guns for him to use, revolvers, and also made a shotgun on the side. He does all of this in a month, and in his spare time during the month he made and scavenged as much ammunition as he could from around the house and the scrapyard.
Niko scavenged through one of the closets and pulls out some motorcycle gear clothing just his size. He pulls them on and finds that they fit him just perfectly. He grabs his mother's spare cap and cyclist goggles, and starts wearing them. Niko attaches his weapons onto his motorcycle, put his revolver magnums into holster he stitched into his beltloop. He walks over to his makeshift grave that he made for his mother, gives his respects, and heads to New York, hoping to find a new life...
Well, better word choice would be to end his old, old life...
