Okara meets her first Hollow

Okara had been shopping around for a while, using what money she could earn doing small tasks here and there. She was wearing a blank regular t-shirt that was red and normal blue pants over her usual attire. The girl certainly looked odd. She was five nine skinny, but not too skinny, and looked like she was part monkey.

Course she thought she looked fine and that is as far as she cared about that but still. A red furred monkey girl was certainly odd.

She finished getting groceries and had begun to eat lunch when something caught her attention. A low level hollow was nearby and was stalking a human, presumably for food, so Okara put her sandwich back in it's bag and got up to follow after it and get it's attention with a loud, "Hey big guy! Whatcha doin!?" which startled the human being followed into looking at Okara and then behind him which freaked him out and he proceeded to run in terror.

The hollow tried to follow after it's prey but Okara was in the way. She kicked it in the mask and forced it to stay where it was. This was the first time she had actually gotten into a real fight..so she wasn't sure what she was going to do.

Her foe didn't seem too terribly hurt but it did seem like she was at least viable as a threat now.. So it turned it's attention to her.

A few seconds after the hollow had appeared, a second gargantua opened and a girl in a white dress jumped out. She snapped the gateway closed as fast as possible. She hadn't actually planned on winding up here with the hollow, that was pure luck. She'd come to get something nice for Grainne, and ended up near a hollow. Who went to attack a human. And got punched by a girl with a tail. The hollow staggered back and turned towards her. The fact that it didn't die instantly suggested the girl wasn't very strong, but when she looked at her, her Arashi eyes gave no clue as to her strength, or race. But the hollow was nothing compared to Elayne.

This was worrying because the hollow lunged, and Elayne didn't know if the girl could handle the hollow. So she intercepted, kicking the hollow in the face so fast it didn't even have time to see her coming. It staggered back. "Bad hollow. No eat. Go away." She said, opening a Gargantua behind it. She preferred not to kill it, knowing her sword could no longer purify its soul. And while she could eat it, she preferred to stick to normal food. She drew her weapon and made her point clear.

The hollow grumbled like a scolded child, but actually listened to her and backed into the gargantua... She supposed that being an arrancar had its perks, atleast. Elayne turned to the girl. "Hi there. Are you alright?" She asked the strange looking... Human? Not according to her eyes. She wasn't sure what this girl was. Her power still flickered inconclusively as if couldn't decide.

Okara blinked as someone got in the way as the hollow made it's next attack attempt and frowned. It wasn't that she was angry but her competitive spirit and her combative urges meant this was a rude interruption on HER fight. However she understood the intention was not malicious and let that slide gracefully as she lowered her guard and smiled as the person scolded the hollow and forced it to retreat.

She didn't know that could be done. It was certainly entertaining, "Hello, yeah I'm okay that thing didn't have a chance against me." Elayne's eyes seemed to be looking her over but Okara didn't seem to mind, "Not that I wouldn't have liked to have finished that myself though.. Oh well. Maybe next time.. So what brings you around this area? Do you live around here??"

Now that she thought of it Okara barely knew the area. She had just finish grocery shopping and getting some decent normal cloths for the first time in her life. Maybe this girl could help in that regard if she was from around her.. or maybe she was a tourist or something too and knew just as little as Okara did.

"My name is Okara by the way.. pleased to meetcha." she offered a hand to shake out of politeness and waited for a response. Her red furred tail lightly swishing back and forth behind her.

Elayne blushed. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't realize you wanted to fight it. I just didn't wan't it to hurt anyone. And its better not to kill them unless you can purify the soul." She said. She stopped eyeing up the girl like she was a piece of meat or something and smiled, pushing her confusion aside. "I'm just visiting to buy something for a friend. I don't. I live in soul society." She said, which made her smile even more, because after being driven out as a vizard, she was living there freely as an arrancar. She still got the occasional distrustful look, but most shinigami had accepted it.

"And what about you?" She asked the girl. She shook her hand. "I'm Elayne Arashi." She said to Okara. She smiled. She was slightly surprised by how social she was being. Apparently almost dying had brought her out of her shell. Or perhaps Grainne had. She sobered a bit and tilted her head. "I've heard of a few nice places to visit around here, but I don't know the area. If you want to explore with me that would be fine." She said to the girl. It seemed like the right thing to say considering she'd ruined Okara's fight.

"Soul...Society?" Okara blinked. She had only limited information about it because the group that created her body did not have government clearance and thus didn't have as much information on them as say..the coalition, "Sounds interesting at least, but nah I don't live around here. I don't live anywhere. I'm brand new to the world outside. So I wouldn't mind exploring with you at all. Got nothing better to do at least."

Assuming Elayne led the way to walking around she would follow striking up some conversation while punching one hand into the other palm, "I was hoping to test myself on that hollow. I have lots of combat knowledge but no experience.. So I don't even know how strong I can really be."

Which may or may not hint for Elayne as to her Arashi eye readings.. not that Okara knew anything about it, "Oh! I was about to eat lunch.. do ya mind?" she pulled out her sandwich from her bag as they walked and made sure not to talk with her mouthful should Elayne continue the conversation. She also kept pace with the nice girl too.

Elayne looked at her, surprised she didn't know of it. But explained it. "It's where Shinigami live. They bring souls of the dead from this plane to there, and purify hollows. They used to purify arrancar, but i think as long as they're not hurting people they'll turn a blind eye." She explained. The girl explained she had no home and Elayne frowned. "Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. I had no home for a very long time. Its not nice." But she had also said she was new to the world around. Maybe she had lost her memories. However Elayne decided not to pry.

Elayne smiled as Okara agreed to explore and started walking. She wasn't really in a hurry so she meandered down random side streets and looking in shop windows as they talked. Okara mentioned she had wanted to test herself, because she didn't know how strong she could be. Elayne wondered if that had something to do with her eyes acting strange trying to read her. "Oh. I'm sorry." Elayne said again.

Okara asked if it was ok to eat and Elanye nodded. "Of course, I don't mind at all." She said. "I don't really like to fight all that much, but I'm still able to. Maybe we could have a sparring match. I feel like I owe you." She said. But even as she finished her sentence, the air around them changed. A Gargantua ripped into existence ahead of them, and an adjuchas, followed by several hollow, jumped through.

Elayne tensed. That Adjuchas was as strong, or stronger than she was. And some of those hollow would be a pain to deal with too. What had drawn them here? Elayne had been hiding her energy... She didn't want someone to sense her and freak out. The hollow she'd scared away wasn't with them. Either Okara had drawn them here, or the gargantua activity had attracted them.

Elayne stepped forward. "Leave this place. Its protected." She ordered. The adjuchas laughed in response, Its slender mody reminded her of a snake. It struck just as fast, with a swift back hand it knocked Elanye into the side of a building. "Shut up arrancar bitch." It said, turning its snake like eyes to Okara. "Sssseems like I found a nice snack. I'll eat you now." the adjuchas said. Elayne stood up, but the three weaker hollow were on her in a flash blocking her movements. She would have to fight them to get to Okara.

Okara listened as Elayne explained what Soul Society was. Sounded like a very important place to be in charge of the dead. She mentioned purifying Hollow too, while the method escaped Okara's know how she understood the concept. After Elayne responded to her other statements she offered to spar with her to make up for taking her fight away earlier.

Not even a moment after she said that another hole on space happened and more hollow showed up. The main one ignoring Elayne and then proceeding to knock her to the side while his lackeys kept her occupied. It then decided to make Okara it's target and threatened to eat her for a snack.

However it had made a mistake when it decided to call Okara's new and so far only friend a bitch. By the time it had finished threatening her she had already dropped the remains of her sandwich, clasped her hands together by her waist, charged up an attack of her energy, and was thrusting her hands forward releasing a large beam directly at the hollow at the same level that the adjuchas seemed to be in terms of power. Easily comparable to a cero except with her own humanish blue energy instead of a hollows.

Okara did not like jerks. She was also not a fan of people hurting her new friend.

The hollow lunged at Okara but before it even reached her she blasted it with a beam of blue energy end sent it flying down the street. Elayne watched with surprise. Apparently, she was strong enough to take on the Adjuchas. but how had she not flattened the hollow from before? Elayne would think on it later. Her combat mask slid into place as one of the hollows lunged and she drew her sword, parrying its claws away and dashing out of reach as a second one tried to strike. The other two lunged and forced her away before she could finish it.

The Adjuchas came tearing back and fired a cero at Okara as it roared with rage. If Okara dodged but didn't deal with the cero, Elayne would intercept and knock the attack up into the sky so it didn't kill anyone in the streets. However this was not a good place to be fighting. "Okara we can't fight them here. People will be killed." She said. Two of the hollow lunged at her and one hit, knocking her down.

Holding back wasn't helping anyone, so Elayne went into Resurrection. With a surge of energy her transformation took hold and she kicked the hollow that had tackled her into the air. A bolt of lighting shot from her hand and hit the hollow, killing it. The other two backed off but still got in her way as she tried to get to the Adjuchas.

The adjuchas watched Okara with interest. "You are stronger then I judged before. Eating you might allow me to reach my full potential.. Being part of a vasto lorde, thats a worthy sacrifice dont you think?" Its tongue shot out and tried to wrap around Okara's leg, pulling it from under her if it succeeded. Acidic touch would burn her. The Adjuchas lunged, rending claws ready to tear trough her flesh regardless of wether its first attack hit or miss, and the hollow would throw out a barrage of slices and slashes at high speeds.

"You do not have the strength needed to take me down." She said she knocked the cero into the sky herself, but noticed Elayne had been prepared to try to do so herself. When she mentioned fighting in the city was a dangerous thing Okara agreed. These monsters didn't care who they killed in the crossfire and being in a city limited what Okara could achieve. "Agreed" she said as she raised her foot, charged Ki under her shoe, and stomped on the Adchukas' tongue when he tried to grab her with it holding him in place in this way until she finished deciding what to do next.

"time to change locations." With a grunt she took off at the Adchujas, half running and half flying and grabbed his face in her hand using her sheer power, since they were equal, to lift him up and take off with him into the sky. Going fast enough that he didn't have the option of stopping her before she threw him towards the ground again, landing him outside the city limits in the process.

When she landed she realized she had basically left her friend to take care of those other guys by herself. She facepalmed at her own stupidity but figured and hoped Elayne could take care of herself.

The Adjuchas was grabbed, and against his will thrown. Elayne watched them go. She Let the hollows closed in, then in a burst of speed, pingponged between the remaining hollow and drove her rapier through their masks, killing them rapidly. Atleast the main contender was out of the way. Elayne looked in the direction Okara had taken the Adjucas, and started to run.

The Adjuchas slammed into the ground, and flipped onto his feet. He stared at Okara, growling. He opened his mouth to charge a cero, and fire it at the monkey girl. It was almost charged, when a hellgate ripped open behind him, and suddenly crystals burst from the ground, spearing his body. The cero died in his mouth, as a woman in a red dress stepped out of the gateway and smiled at them. "You all look like your having fun. Mind if I join in?" She asked.

The adjuchas tried to break the crystals as Terror filled him, but he didn't get far before the sinner moved and ripped open his throat with six inch claws. He died, as she turned to the monkey girl and smiled. "Oh dear oh dear that was a very dangerous situation for you, miss... What is your name?" Helena asked, claws vanishing. She approached, and extended a hand for the girl to shake, when an arrancar showed up.

Surprise and fear filled the Arrancar's face, and she shouted, "Okara dont trust her she's a sinner!" She shouted. Helena pouted, and moved at the same time as Elayne. She dodged the intended attack, and hit the arrancar across the back of the head hard enough to knock her out and send her flying into Okara. "Stupid Arrancar... Stay out of my business." She said, and again smiled at Okara. "So, what exactly are you, you strange beautiful creature?"

Someone else showed up shortly after Okara had tossed the hollow and landed on the ground near it. Effectively killing it before turning her attention to Okara, however Elayne showed up at this point and warned Okara that this new woman was a Sinner. At first she was completely confused as to the theological implications of the statement before her memory kicked in and reminded her that beings from Hell who have the ability to come and go to an extent are also "Sinners" meaning this woman was pure evil.

Despite having been warned about the situation to a degree by Elayne, who got bitch smacked for her effort and rendered unconscious, whom Okara caught and placed on the ground behind her gently, "I'm nothing but a fantasy made reality by Science. A joke against nature if you will. I may not like it but I do still have pride in the concept of what I should be." Her body felt the power of this sinner and almost seemed to greedily power up in response flooding Okara with more power than she had previously been shown to have. The sensations were new to Okara but she adjusted so quickly it wasn't noticeable.

"I am Okara Daikon. The only real and existing "Saiyan"." she took a boxer stance and flared her new power increase to signify she was preparing to fight. Elayne was the only person she had befriended so far.. she was not happy that anyone. especially this sinner. Had attacked her and harmed her.
