Ika meets Huntington (Social)

Ika walked alone in New York City as the early summer day left a small chill to the air as the breeze blew slightly though it was not bad out, it was 7 AM in the morning thus expected to be much hotter when the day reached its high of 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Ika took a small drag on his blunt and let the air fill his lungs as he exhaled and it came out his nostrils and as he let the smoke leave his mouth he began to wonder if Spiritual Beings could get lung cancer, damn that would suck, but then he figured if it could happen it would have by now so he let it be. He cracked his knuckles and slowly paced along the streets of New York which were slowly beginning to bustle with activity to Ika’s surprise and dismay, this would make it harder to move about through the city not that that was all that greatly important to Ika, just a simple luxury that from here on would be denied. He stopped for a second and sat on the bench to gaze up at the sky and he noticed the sun beginning to appear from the horizon, what a beautiful sunrise it was but this was no time to idolize that, he was here for a reason. He saw a rather large Hollow down an alley that was eating a young woman alive and was doing it slow until it saw Ika then it swallowed her whole and laughed as Ika sighed. He Shunpo’d forwards and hit it in its jaw and made a shushing motion over his lips with his finger and as he did he cracked its skull with his fist and watched it fade away into the wind, he sighed, “what a boring battle”.

As he took another long drag on the blunt he walked into a coffee shop after finishing it off and soon after walked in the coffee shop and let some of his Reitsu linger around to see if anybody would notice him or even come and at least check it out. He wore dark black skinny jeans and his one hand rested firmly in his pocket as he bought the Espresso and he went back and sat down to wait and as he did he stopped to smile at the waitress whom was rather hot and both seemed to have a mild interest in the other but Ika had the least interest and he let that spark die off. His teeth were somehow pearly white and very even and his smirk revealed this a bit but only a small amount, his pale skin was as white as it got but that was not going to change so he never tried to change it. He had crystal blue eyes looking as though they were a beautiful ice sculpture someone carved but they were not obviously and though they reflected the moon perfectly when it is out he could no longer illuminate the night air with that special trait right now. His shirt was a Design the Sky Band T-shirt that was very tight on him and revealed his well-toned body and 6 pack abs that he was so proud of though they would only be completely revealed if he took off his shirt. He cracked his knuckles as he looked at the floor and his Ed Hardy Converses which were purple and as he waited for something exciting to happen and he realized he didn’t do anything color wise to his hair that morning which made it a dark black with nothing else in it and his snake bite lip piercing was missing until he realized it was still in which he sighed for being so stupid for. He then sighed and slumped in his chair a bit.

The clanking of metal echoed throughout the scrapyard on the outskirts of New York City, as rusted metal screeched and moaned as it was compressed into rectangles, then pushed off into a pile. The place was dark, as small pieces of rust and dust floated in the air, as discarded waste was brought it. Having woken up early, H. L. Huntington sat upon a trash cube, that used to be a car. The white metal gleaming in the early sunlight, which penetrated the smog like environment. The human pressing ink against paper, hoping for some artistic idea to emerge from the mounds of discarded treasures.

Though, to no avail, Hunt laid down as his body brushed up against sharpened metal, that did nothing to damage the skin. With pen in hand, Hunt plopped it in his pocket of his durable cargo pants, earthy colored, just the same as the teenager's skin, which possessed a brownish hue to it, due to the lead imbued inside his body. Watching the sun beginning to rise higher, Hunt closed his journal, as he sat up again, his hair a dirty blonde, and eyes a dark hazel. Jumping down from is makeshift couch, the lead creator moved throughout the maze of scrap metal, as he neared a hole in the fence which surrounded the entire area. The scrapyard was not too far off from the man city, and as the striving author took off into the air.

Air-walking with decent speed, the human started heading back to the Coalition building, before the human sensed another presence in the area. Quickly stopping on a roof, the human back tracked, as he released his own spiritual energy slightly, to let the stranger know they have been found out, whether it led to a battle or not, the seeds have been planted, and now it was all about waiting.

The teenager stood on top of a building at least five hundred yards or so away, and was heavily clothed, wearing a burnt orange hooded sweat shirt, thick tan cargo pants, combat boots, leather gloves, and of course a pair of thick sunglasses, covering Hunt's eyes.

Ika grinned as his conversation was cut short with the man and he left in a hurry as he sipped on his drink and headed out after the man on the roof,a few hundred yards out,he wondered if he was going to accept his presence in the city or be an ass about it.Ika Shunpo'd to the roof and grinned as he greeted the man with a nice sweet and simple "Hello my name is Ika Mazi Vizard Of Life of the Kashimaku, you are?" he said this with a warm expression on his face as if the man was an old friend and he hoped he would show that he in fact meant no harm to the man or the city,he just came to look for friends or someone to bullshit with for a day and as he took a new blunt out of his bag and some weed and took a drag on it he smiled at the man before him and held it out,"Want a smoke"? he asked this kindly as he awaited an answer from the person at hand and slowly took a drag on his own.He was hoping this guy would be friendly and at least a little social and he could tell from his Reitsu he was Human and even with Ika in power which meant nothing to worry about,he was probably friendly,or at least Ika hoped he was because he was stoned and rather lazy and a fight really was not what he wanted at that moment.The man seemed rather serious but Ika really did not mind that at all at the moment as he knew people lightened up rather quickly around weed and people who wouldn't tear their throats out unless they were provoked.He held the smile on his face as he tried to appear friendly,the mans attire was fucking horrific though,he looked like a drill sergeant, Ika sighed,he may have his work cut out for him here.

As Huntington waited, feeling the presence of the other individual start to head towards him, he took out his pen and rolled up his left arm sleeve, writing down a thought that occurred. A possible quote that Hunt could put in his story, which he tried so hard to craft. Reading the quote in his head, Hunt rolled down his sleeve as he twirled the pen between his fingers, out of habit. Preparing for the stranger to arrive, which did happen to Hunt's discontent. The figure who revealed himself as Ika Mazi, spoke saying that he was a member of the Kashimaku.

With a visible frown, Hunt acknowledged the other man, with a nod, Hunt's removed his sunglasses from his eyes and placed them on his short cropped hair, finding long hair too much hassle. The human did not really care for the vizard, as the human took a closer look at Ika's spiritual energy. He reeked something fierce, and the offering of a smoke was all but unappealing to H. Knowing his already bad habit of chewing pieces of metal. Waving the blunt away, Hunt took two steps backwards, not really caring to talk, nor even one to b much of a talker to begin with. But out of politeness he spoke with his thick voice, as his hazel eyes took in every single detail about Ika.

"Welcome to this city Ika Mazi, I rarely have to deal with the vizards, but nonetheless you won't be disturbed, from here on out. You may do what you wish, provided it does not harm humans, and blah blah blah, so on and so forth." Hunt spoke, his teeth seeming to have a dark metallic shine in the light, though the teeth weren't white, due to the lead inside of his body, the teeth were certainly a site, seeming to be rusted, to an extent. "My name is H. L. Huntington, Coalition member," He spoke with slight authority, but with a hint of laziness, as if forced to speak the same lines continually for everyone that asks his name.

Reaching into his pocket, H. took out a sliver of lead, and placed it in his mouth, and chewed, as if it were a form of scrap metal gum. Standing at a height of 66 inches, and a weight of 300 pounds, Huntington was extremely muscular, but he hid it quite well beneath all of his baggy clothing, appearing fat more than anything else. Shifting his hazel eyes, Hunt watched Ika for a moment, before speaking himself.

"I don't care what habits you have, but if you end up hurting the police or what have you because they don't like it, don't expect to be granted some stupid form of diplomatic immunity or some crap, other than that we should be good." Hunt spoke as he bit the piece of metal in half.

As Ika approached the man greeted him with a simple nod and frown as he waited Ika out, he was probably trying to size up Ika so Ika quickly let off some Reitsu to let him know Ika wasn't a pushover by any meaning of the word and that he'd be wise to play it cool which to Ika's apparent surprise and pleasure he did.He had his arm sleeve rolled up for some reason and a pen in his hand and the man took off his sunglasses and he turned down the blunt as he noticed the man took two steps back,Ika sighed,joy a fucking antisocial dude,he was polite at least, well the man tried to be.The man welcomed him to the city and did his Coalition introduction which Ika had figured he'd do and he sighed as he finished "I won't harm any Humans unless I myself am harmed by one with Spiritual Pressure though I throw that up there with relative doubt of such an occurrence happening, also thank you for understanding I got the point, at least your not a blow hard my friend".Ika smiled as he said this and began to light his blunt and smoke it as he took a long drag on it and exhaled through his nostrils,nothing beats a good blunt he thought.The man introduced himself to Ika and Ika smiled as he did this and stuck out his hand "Nice to meet you Huntington".

The man looked rather robust but small and Ika could tell that he was a mixture of fat and muscle,as 2nd squad Captain it became rather easy to tell after being around so many different types of people,it became all but apparent after a while, baggy clothing or not.He figured they were about the same power so if anything happened it wouldn't be like one was gonna get destroyed and the other leave unscathed which Ika didn't mind that fact at all either.The man chewed a sliver of lead and chewed it like gum,this kind of shocked Ika,not that he'd let on about it in fear of upsetting the man, maybe it was some weird habit he developed,he had heard about people eating metals such as Copper and Silver before but never paid witness not that he could say it was on his "have to do list" but as he watched he just shrugged it off,he'd seen weirder.The man spoke as he chewed the piece of metal and Ika smiled "I didn't expect any sorts of immunity as a Vizard,quite the opposite really,I am surprised you've been this kind,not that I am complaining,but rather I thank you for your wonderful hospitality my friend".Ika smiled as he said this not letting on about any thing he may have thought.This was...interesting to say the least.

With a light yawn, Hunt rubbed his left eye, as Ika continued speaking in response. Taking a step forward, as Hunt cracked each of his knuckles, with barrage of popping sounds. "I'll take what you said as a compliment, I guess." Hunt replied to not being labeled as a blowhard, "Though, I'm afraid at the moment we are only acquaintances, and now that the formal crap is out of the way, -oh that word has a fun sound to it- I'll probably be taking my leave, seeing as you have plenty of power to defend yourself. And all that jazz..." Turning to leave, Hunt took to the air, only about five feet, before stopping in his tracks.

His mind churning as he glanced back at the vizard below him. "Actually... what you said earlier interests me, I'm new to this whole gig, I probably wouldn't be apart of the Coalition if it wasn't for the benefits, I think." Shaking his head, Hunt swallowed his piece of lead scrap to talk more casually, "What you said about being a vizard, does your kind, and I mean that in the most general sense, tend to be more outcasted? Your wording seemed a bit off. Then again I tend to over analyze things, but I digress."

Hunt spoke as he continued cracking other joints on his body, the refreshing feeling invigorating the bored human, as he waited for Ika's response. Though, even as Hunt spoke and listened his mind was prancing around thinking of numerous different things at once. Unraveling his shirt sleeve again, Hunt wrote down several quotes and words he thought off the top of his head so he would not forget them. All the while, his frown changed to a more neutral standpoint. The sun still beating down on the city.

Ika watched as the man rubbed his eyes then cracked his knuckles and the popping sound was rather loud and quick,it was almost a barrage of cracking sounds all at once as he approached Ika with a hard to pick on attitude on him,this was not like your every day Tom,Dick,and Harry Ika was used to,something was different about this dude.He replied that he would take not being called a blow hard as a compliment and Ika sighed and shook his head thinking No joke... it was a compliment obviously...As he said they are only acquaintances Ika grinned "All friends or even enemies tend to start as acquaintances,it just seems to me, from what experience I have,that is the way of the world. He ignored the next statement and was about to say goodbye and walk off as the man turned around and appeared to be pondering ,he responded saying he was interested and new to this thing and the Coalition apparently had good benefits, "Huh So the Coalition has good benefits eh,that sounds interesting,anything but Humans aloud in there good sir,I am actually quite interested now,you see,I have been rogue here for quite a while
"he said this with a serious look on his face.

He listened to the rest of what the man had to say and grinned slightly,"Oh I suppose what your definition of outcasted is,if its not being hunted down for something you were not able to control due to them fearing what they do not understand and falling back on 5000 year old rules to justify it then no we are not outcasted at all" he said this with a smirk and an obvious hint of sarcasm.The man continued cracking his body mindlessly and Ika shrugged and took a hit on his joint and exhaled.

With a light chuckle, as Ika spoke of most friends and enemies starting as acquaintances, Hunt could not help but wonder what this stranger would turn out to be. A fellow ally, or infernal nemesis, pandering the question for no more than a second, Hunt took a seat on the ledge of the roof. The warm concrete doing little to the human's thick clothing. Though, Hunt's ears perked up slightly at the comment about only humans being allowed in the Coalition, as that was anything but true, considering they had a freaking Arrancar in their ranks. Especially one who seemed to like to run rampant and destroy things when he can keep himself disciplined and controlled. As Hunt digressed in his thinking he unconsciously listened to the vizard, as he continued responded, seeming to speak in a small rant.

Hunt didn't even noticed Ika had finished speaking until ten seconds after the last words were spoken. The human's eyes seeming to drift from the pavement on the roof to various objects, finally settling on a flock of birds in the distance, as they seemed to move suddenly, as if something spooked them, as usual in such a large bustling city, which was New York.

"Yes... well, I wouldn't say only humans are allowed in the Coalition's ranks, despite what the upper brass truly want. The majority are humans, of course, as it is a human organization built by humans for humans. But you do find the select rarities in the mix, but that is all about I can say, with the given rank I have at the moment." Hunt spoke as his mind seemed to drift further and further into the horizon line, only to be brought back by a small waft of smoke that crossed his vision, from Ika.

Twirling a pen between is fingers, Hunt spoke after a pause, as he contemplated slightly on the outcast commentary, not really caring in the idea itself but the sociology behind it. "Whatever you want to say, as all sides of the conflict, even the neutral parties have their own opinion, intelligent or otherwise, but from what I've heard through the grapevines, if you will, is that the..." Hunt paused as he cracked his neck, and then continued, his routine finally over with, and the popping noises subsiding. "Priorities of all parties is self preservation, though, I'm no philosopher, or shinigami, obviously, that's my take on it." Hunt finished as he switched hands with the pen and twirled it around, as if needing something to do at all times. He wasn't exactly sure if his point was made, not really caring to make sure at the moment, knowing that he will only end up confusing himself in some magical way.

Ika grinned as the man chuckled and then began to ponder something,or that was what he appeared to be doing for no more than a second or two as the man took a seat on the ledge of the roof and he took a seat to taking a draw on his joint and letting the fine scent waver through the air before he took his final puff and launched it at the air "Hado 4 Byakurai" he said as he shot the joint and disintegrated it and he got ready to speak with a small smirk "What I'm lazy dude ha ha"he said this then sat down.He waited for a response for about ten seconds until the man finally spoke and Ika slightly grinned and bit his tongue while he listened and took a breathe,maybe the Coalition wouldn't be so bad,if he decided to join the Coalition of course,and as he listened to the man he began to realize this guy knew what he was talking about one hell of a lot more then he let on.Ika smiled as he listened to the man crack joints every which way and twirl the pen between both hands as if he needed something to do at all times,he decided he would perhaps stop by the Coalition building and see if he was indeed interested in joining them,it'd be something to pass the time,he thought to himself ever so lightly as he carefully selected his next words.

"Would you perhaps consider taking me to the Coalition to perhaps become a member and help out"?He asked intently.

Watching as the blunt seemed to disintegrate in the air, as the burst of energy caught it and destroyed it. Hunt wasn't interested in what he saw, but he shrugged as Ika said he was lazy. The human replying in turn, in his heavy voice. "If it works, no worry for waste I guess." Shrugging again, Hunt stopped twirling his pen at Ika's next words, instantly. Wondering if such a thing would even be allowed, considering the vizard's nature. As from Hunt's prospective Ika seemed too much of a loose canon, to just bring into the Coalition base on a whim, even if he had asked nicely.

Taking the pen into his left hand, Hunt took out a sketchpad from his side pocket of his cargo pants. As the teen marked off a tally on paper, weighing the pros and cons in his head. Considering perhaps that the Coalition could receive a new member, possibly. But letting in a stranger could cause problems with the upper brass.

Continuing the tally on the paper, the lines soon becoming mere scrawls, as Hunt tore up the paper. "Bah, screw it..." Hunt said as he shoved the sketch pad and torn paper in his pocket. Turning back to Ika, who was now sitting, Hunt stood up and dusted himself off. "I can't promise you squat once we are their, but I can at least take you to the main building, since that's open to the public. Whenever your ready we can go. It's just a mile or so North from here." With that Hunt took to the air, waiting for Ika, if he decided to come Hunt would take off towards the Coalition building.

He noticed that the man watched as he destroyed the blunt and he watched it fade into the air,man must be bored,but he did not appear to be interested in what Ika did nor what he said as he shrugged and then spoke in his heavy voice about their being no worry for waste and Ika smiled softly at this comment "No worries about anything really,one thing I still appreciate the Soul Society for is Kidou,they not only help in battle,but also in normal situations".He said this after the man shrugged and the man stopped twirling his pen as Ika spoke and seemed to be in deep thought and it was almost instantaneous really, he took the pen in his left hand and took out a notebook and began sketching things,still appearing deep in thought.Surely something would have to give,if the man said no Ika would reply very well and say his good byes thereafter taking his leave.If he said yes he himself could not quite fathom what could take place,he didn't really care though,he could handle himself if worst went to worst and if best went to best? He did miss having friends to cover his back and he knew it was never a bad idea to have assistance close by. He missed the feeling of having people who had his back through thick and thin or having people he could trust,he missed the feeling of being part of something bigger then himself alone,but mostly? He missed the feeling of kicking ass for more than his own simple cause,he knew he needed restricted somehow and this org could be his best shot at it so he figured worst went to worst,he'd keep looking.

He watched as the man continued to scribble down what appeared to be notes and then watched as he tore the paper and finally spoke then shoving the sketch pad and torn paper in his pocket and turned to Ika,he then stood up and dusted himself off,that at least,was what he appeared to be doing.The man spoke and he about thanked the heavens of which he did not believe in for the man ending his wait with a positive reply as he listened,he would have to travel a mile north from where he already was but hell that would be a cake walk so no point in arguing it or trying to shortcut it,he simply nodded and watched as the man took to the air and as Ika pulled himself up and began to follow the man new hope arrived somewhere within his hollow exterior,maybe he'd finally be part of something again,Ika quickly stopped his thinking however,he knew better then to give his hopes up over something that was not guaranteed and he'd be damned if he would forget that now of all times.As he followed the man to the Coalitions home base he began to wonder who all he'd meet there,it'd be nice to see a familiar face or at least see someone who welcomed him with open arms,unfortunately he doubted this would happen so he threw that out of his head as well.God hoping was worthless.

(OOC: I PMed Keten, since he's the head of the Coalition, so if he agrees he'll pop in the thread for a few posts to give you a definite yes or no, if not, I'll have to ask him OOC if a vizard can join, and then I can work with the answer, so bare with my short post).

Arriving at the front steps of the Coalition building, a looming building massive and plain, Hunt landed softly onto the concrete, as he await Ika. The human hoping that he would receive a definite answer at the supposed home base. "Well, we're here, as unimpressive as it looks on the outside, it has a much nicer interior..." Hunt spoke casually as he hopped up a few steps reaching the front doors, which opened automatically, as they slid to the sides.

Reveling the interior area of the building, several tables were aligned on the sides near the windows, with nice false leather couches, as if the place was a small lounge. The air cool and refreshing with air conditioning. "Most of the place is off limits to outsiders, unless proper approval, so I'll ask if anyone is around to give you a more definite answer..." And with that said to Ika, Hunt walked up to a nearby desk, where several pencil pushers stood, workign on various tasks; waving a badge at one of them, Hunt asked if anyone higher up was available. As they called, Hunt turned away and sat down on one of the comfortable chairs, as he watched Ika. "I don't know how long it will take, but hopefully we'll receive an answer in a moment."

Ika held a blank expression as they approached what he hoped would be his new home base and he was not particularly impressed but at the same time he knew better than to judge a book by its cover so he held in what his comments about its appearance,besides,it was one helluva lot better than the Kishimasuku's bullshit condo,outside and in,it was like a fucking slum house for Vizard's.It really wasn't a nice place to be,he began to walk up the steps as the man spoke in a casual tone about the building and said that the interior was better,wouldn't take much to beat the plain exterior,he simply nodded and walked in with the same blank expression on his face,he was a bit nervous about being here.The doors were nice,automatic doors,just slid right the fuck open and when the guy said the interior was nice he was not kidding,Ika blinked a few times so that he could assure himself he had not just smoked one crazy ass joint and when he did he just stood mouth slightly open as they walked through the doors,he could not believe how nice it was in there and he couldn't even begin to fathom how much money had to be put into this place and much less who payed for it all to even come together it would cost some astronomical amount of money and he could not believe what he was seeing at this point in time,for such a plain exterior the interior of this place was amazing but he knew that this was only the lobby and he would have to wait before he went dancing around the place to look for everything.

The air conditioning was the first thing that greeted him here as he walked in and saw the tables and the couches which he immediately headed towards the couch to sit down on as a drip of sweat rolled down his forehead he whipped it off and sighed with relief "Dude this is fucking awesome bro,nice place, I don't care whats off limits bro this is a nice little place" he said this in reply to what the man said about some places being off limits.He watched as the man walked up to the front desk and talked to what appeared to be the pencil pushers of the place and smiled as he asked for a higher up after waving a badge and really just getting what he wanted done done,as they called he turned to a chair and sat down in it and as he spoke Ika waved him off and spoke "Bro I got nothing but time on my hands so believe me,all the time in the world if thats as long as it takes is fine".He smiled a bit and shut his eyes a bit.Maybe this would be a good idea after all.

Glad that the vizard wasn't going to try sneaking off into one of the off limits areas, Hunt relaxed as he let his head fall backwards onto the nice chair, as he watched the high rised ceiling. The teen heard what Ika said, and just sighed, as he waited. The human hating boredom when it struck, and never having been a socialite, Hunt did not really care to talk.

But as he heard the front desk call his name, Hunt rose from his seat and treaded over to the desk, and waited to hear the news. Wanting to know what the higher ups had decided over the recruitment of Ika. To the good news, the woman at the desk spoke in her clear crystal voice, "They have replied it is alright." Looking over at Ika wherever he was at that moment, Hunt spoke, "Well it seems you're good to go, welcome to the Coalition." Hunt spoke in a rather monotoned voice, as he cracked his neck again.
