Old Times Renewed

A young man was walking in the forests of new york as he put his hand on a nearby oak. His face was filled with reminiscence of past events. A small smile crossed his face as this place was pretty much were his life started. The man was much older form then, his hair was still sandy blonde with deep blue eyes, the hair now resting half way under the eyes. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a white hoodie over and blue baggy jeans. His silver wolf ring glistened in the sunlight as he dropped his things by the tree. Two coiled chains were attacked to the sides of his pants as he began to have small flash backs of the past events.

He just found a vizard who is now a good friend, and then another vizard came...then another..then another. Two of them had energy levels he couldn't comprehend at that time. Now and days he can pretty much handle any massive amounts and his leader of the Org had the same amount, he could easily stand it unlike back then. A lot sure has changed. The sun gradually reached its peak signifying noon. Clouds nowhere to be seen allowing the sapphire-esque sky to remain uninterrupted. “heh, I was so weak back then” he nodded his head down slightly with a smile, he moved his hand from the tree and twisted his body in one fluid motion landing his back on the tree. In the distance he felt a spiritual pressure, a very recognizable and strong one.

"Your damn right you were..but now look at you little boy." Said a familiar voice of a not so familiar girl. She had cut her hair and died it..and had even changed her style of clothing since the last time she saw Kano Kressent Now wearing ripped blue jeans and a redish shirt that said Valkyrie on it while sporting a fun cap..so maybe he would recognize her from just her spiritual pressure..whcih it seemed he had..because he had already looked her way by the time she finished speaking. She had both hands resting on the hilts of her Zan and her Bakkoutou when she stopped..tapping her foot very impatiently as if she had somewhere to be.

"I've got a job for ya. If your up for it that is.. not sure if you could even survive what I've got planned." she said as bluntly as ever. She didn't waste time..she didn't like to. It was work work work. Gotta do whatcha gotta do. However alot of people.. usually humans.. didn't like her philosophy of..it's my way or the highway.. She didn't really care though. Thats why she was a rogue with no organization backing her. She did as she pleased and kicked anyone in the face if they didn't like it.

"your hollow isn't still haunting your every waking moment is it? I remember you used to jug energy drinks like little bits of candy.." she said with only a slight bit of worry. If it was bothering him still..she was going to kick his ass for saying how weak he was back then..when it hadn't changed. if he said it wasn't bothering him anymore..well..good for him..did he want a freaking cookie!? ...She almost snickered at her own thoughts before turning her attention back upon Kano.

“heh” Kano let out a peaceful sigh as she began her part of the conversation. Usually if any questions, they would be yes or no with little explanation from the listener, it was easier this way, Kano wasn't one for long conversations unless necessary. He brushed his hair out of his eyes so they rested right under the eyebrow. A single lock of gray hair representing the moment the old friend just brought up. “Long time no see Rena” he smiled, his eyes still looking well rested unlike those times with the hollow. “ Lets just say that poor bastards lost in a forest” deep in his mind he heard a small angry shout from his inner hollow chained up to a tree in his inner world, he didn't even flinch at the hopeless barking anymore. He pretty much enslaved his hollow for good now. “ You think I can die that easily” he chuckled. He has gone through Rena before, at that time it was a minor spar, no life threatening. But anyone who wasn't paying attention would get horrible maimed, as he recalled he was only half as maimed.

“So what do ya have in mind?” he wondered. She seemed more blunt than normal, which always meant there would be a task involved, either that or he was just hearing things. It has been some time since they last met, she could just as easily be this blunt always. He took a step off the tree, his new black running shoes crunching over some fallen leaves.

"I'm going to train a human boy.. his Name is Jun Tomoshibi..and I figured you'd want in on it as well..since last I checked you were pretty useless outside of your Zanpaktou's powers." Again..so blunt it could be painful..but hey it was Rena. At least you could expect her to be truthfully brutal. She was glad to hear that Kano had controlled his hollow..because it ment she didn't have to kick his ass. Though to hear he's locked his hollow in the inner world was a shock. She expected it to be putting up more of a fight than that.

"I ain't worried. Just not sure if you can handle it." She could already feel the many many torturously funny ways to train both Kano and the boy Jun. Jun would get training just as hard..but on a level a human could manage..while Kano.. being a vizard..could be treated as brutally as possible and still manage to not die from it like a human would.. She hopped up..turned upside down..and started walking like this around in a circle out of sheer boredom. She had to wait on Jun to "rest up" as he put it..otherwise he wouldn't be able to do any of the training she wanted to put him through. which ment even if Kano said yes right this second she wouldn't be able to do anything for a while.

This obviously annoyed her..because she had a hand on her chin and was now pacing in her upside down air-walking state. "What stinks is i got nothing to do til that dumb kid recovers..he decided to try and throw a poison gas vile..thing..at me..and I hate poison's.. HATE em.. so I went a lil pissed off on him and cracked him good with a kidou.. Anyways you in?"

Kano chuckled at her reaction to poisons, the part about his zanpaktou was quite right however. He was good outside shikai, however all he had for a defense was a ring. Against a blade and he had no guard, things were so much difficult than normal. “trust me Rena, I ain't no small child from before.” he smiled. He wasn't sure if he would have to prove that but he could if put on the spot. “not like I have been relaxing sippin some lemonade while you were gone” he cracked his knuckles and nodded “I'll take you up on your offer”

“So whats special bout this kid? Other than the fact he likes to toss around poisons” Kano hasn't came into to many encounters with poisons, not much of an immunity, but he wondered how he would hold up. Come to think of it the question he asked was almost as if he were sizing himself up to this kid. He could probably easily beat this human with his hand tied behind his back. He placed his hands in his pockets and leaned back against the tree, the sun was climbing down making the sky tinted with dusk. He hoped he wouldn't have to wait to long, however seeing how impatient Rena was being, it could be a sign things are gonna take awhile. “How about a friendly Spar?” he tossed out.

"you better not be..I'd hate to think I saved someone who didn't deserve it." She said to counter..quite rudely..his statement. It didn't come off as rude and hateful..but it definitely was rude since she cut his next statement off to say hers, "glad to hear your up for it though." She continued to pace upside down in mid-air while talking to him. Humans.. so fragile.. maybe she would end up killing the kid on accident.. Nah..she isn't that harsh..is she?

"he isn't special..he simply had the most growth potential out of the entire building of the Coalition when I barged in looking for a human to train. He's got a few issues..but he'll do for now. besides.. if you really think I'll let either one of you train with your spiritual power intact you got another thing coming.."

"I'm not really in the mood but I suppose I have nothing better to do." she said with a sigh as she stopped pacing upside down in mid-air and landed on her feet, "don't expect any mercy though. Your supposedly stronger I expect you to act like it. Don't think I haven't gotten stronger either. So don't be holding out on me..or I'll break your jaw." She finished saying as she crossed her arms and simply stood there waiting for him to make the first move.

"Since I'm not in the mood you'll have to start the fight..Don't worry about my stance..I'm not so lazy that I'll let you get a hit off on me without making you work for it.." She said slightly snorting to her left. she wasn't about to let a kid that still seemed like a greenhorn beat her. Especially when she had gotten considerably more powerful since that time. but..she still wanted him to start the match..so she stood still and did nothing. Her arms stayed crossed.

Kano was a bit confused about the first statement. Spiritual energy not being used, he was now a lot more interested. He gripped the chains at his hip. He just got them and had been waiting for a chance to use them, Rena was someone he was wanted to fight again for awhile, he has finally overcome his uncomfortableness for fighting women. He still cant kill one, and probably even if he was about to be killed he couldn't do that, but he didn't have to worry about that in this fight. Kano dashed forward and hopped up aiming his left knee against Rena's jaw, along with following in a front flip over her with a mid twist re-orientating himself to face her, he released one hand from the chain with his ring on it. Ready to block if needed. He wasn't sure if a blade was gonna be used on him in this spar, last time she escalated to bankai, no telling how far this time.

Kano he landed on his feet and dashed forward spinning around with a side kick. His strength was a lot stronger than before, he had practice his raw physical power a lot more since learning his own bankai.

Rena was glad he didn't waste time on going offensive. Though she recognized the style she was surprised he was going to try brute force without bolstering his attacks with spiritual power. Especially since Rena was well known for her outrageous physical strength. Something she reminded him of when she focused her spiritual energy to her skull and headbutt his Knee cap with all she had..causing a nice big thud sound and making her vision blur a bit from the impact caused by her silliness..though while doing it she had a wide grin and a scary look on her face..she now looked a little..drunk..which quickly wore off.

She now actually had a stance..though it looked more like a street fighter stance than an actual martial arts..not that it really mattered to her because she didn't rely on a stance to begin with. Though she did rub her head..she coulda done a million other things to counter that and yet she chose the most barbaric. Oh well..she had to worry about his next attack as he kicked at her side..something she countered by kicking his leg with her own..though she didn't put as much spiritual power into the kick as she had with the headbutt. less to worry about with the kick..because the leg was 3x stronger than an arm..and her arm could break bones in most people.

"Come on!" She said as she moved forward with a stomp of the leg that had just countered Kano's kick and used the momentum to bring her right in his face while punching directly at his nose. At the same time however..she led a second punch straight to his gut. Most people defensively protected the face because the nose was the easiest breakable target on the body and caused a good amount of pain when broken. So she mainly did this to see if he would or even could..think outside the box and do something that went against most normal instincts.

If he did somehow block her she'd low kick at his legs with her right leg..since both arms would be occupied by blocking her own..should that be blocked by him jumping up or moving.she step in with him and headbutt him right on the forehead with her own. If he didn't..she'd hop back and wait for him to recover. After all..it wasn't a death match or a serious match..it was just sparring to kill time. No need to be all serious and dangerous with it..unless he made it go that far.

Kano flipped his foot back some narrowly dodging the stomp as he saw the punch come at him. Kano has learned many styles and begun a habit of not just blocking the face. Instead he thrusts both palms forward not seeing but still blocking both punches. He had to use a lot more force in this block as expected for the punches almost pushed his own hand's into his face. His knee was also tinglyling with pins and needle type pain. Out the bottom of his peripherals he notices her leg move didn't have so much time. As he jumped, her leg caught his ankle turning him into the spin as he saw her head leaning forward, instead of regaining his stature, he let the movement take him flipping completely upside down as the head butt fling forward under him, he let go of her hands while doing this sending him higher into the air into a tree. He pushed out at high speeds, that being his strong suite, and leaves followed behind. Kano pretended to fall about 6 feet from Rena, as he reached closer to the ground he pulled up reaching extremely high speeds due to the aerodynamics of his movement, if she were to try and stomp him, he would cross his left leg over his right creating a lightning bold movement with the jaggedness turn, the move would take him completely out of view almost as if he disappeared and he would aim a jab at the side of her ribs. If she didn't attempt a move that would effect his head on collision, he would twist and thrust his fist at the same time right into the gut and use his other hand for an upper cut.

He would avoid using his chains until she brought out the sword, and he wouldn't use shunpou until either she used it or he absolutely needed to. After which ever attack he would dash left with his feet lightly touching the ground for a bounce if he needed to. He spun lower and aimed a low kick at the back of her knees, he brought both arms up in a boxer's position and rushed forward aiming his left and right jabs at her face and gut as she had before, however his were a bit slower, his right fist to the face would be completely retracted when his left fist went to her gut. His skills weren't as good with spiritual reinforcements, but his fists and arms were as reinforced as he could make them.

Rena wasn't really impressed yet. So far all he had done was minimize damage from her attacks..none of them had been solid hits yet..which was good for him, but blocking her was probably taking more than he would have liked it too. As he flung into the air she just felt his reiatsu and kept track of him while moving onto her back. When he suddenly rushed towards her position she put up her legs and spun herself on the top part of her back using her arms and then kept her arms close while kicking around like a top with her feet to catch him in a kick while he was rushing.

whether that worked or whether he changes the distance of his short burst to the side to a longer distance to keep from having a foot collide with him at a good force.. She'd push the ground with her hands and spring to her feet. Timing this so effectively that his low kick ment to hit the back of her knee's was completely jumped over. But then she had to deal with his boxer punches.. damn he didn't like to lose did he? She moved her hands to the insides of his punches and pushed them out wide..while at the same time moving her entire body forward until she could grab the hair on the back of his head with both hands and jump up to try and knee him in the nose while pulling his head down to the knee.

Should that work the poor guy would most likely be seeing stars and be on his back on the ground or at least not feel pretty. If not..then Rena would have had no choice but to use Shunpo to get herself out of a completely wide open position that she would have been left in after attempting to knee his nose. Sighing a bit as she did so. She didn't like the fact she had had to use shunpo..but her own speed wasn't exactly amazing.

"Not bad.. at least your not just some big mouth who acts tough. You actually have some skill." First compliment of the day!? Followed by an instant mask appearance and a cero straight for the guys body regardless of circumstance. Though after the cero fired she moved her mask to the top of her head to conserve energy.

"But don't forget I said this was a fight! your holding back on me boy!"

She pretty much countered all his moves, when the knee rose up against with his head being pushed down, he flung his hands back in front pushed the knee with all his strength and pulling his head towards her gut, she shunpou'ed away making him almost face plant on the ground. He was proud of the very rare comment and as the cero came at him he knew he was supposed to get more serious. He yanked off one of his chains that had a metal spike at the end and a circle ring connecting the dagger to the chains. The chain at this point was merely 1 foot, however it wrapped around his arm, he ducked to the side and hung the arm out slicing the cero with it taking in a bala's worth of energy. He dropped the dagger as it hang close by his arm and shunpou'ed right in front of Rena again falling down, however he flipped it into a spinning handstand with his legs kicking out, the momentum from the shunpou would increase the speed and power of the windmill kick. He then pushed up into the air his own mask instantly materializing as he Shot a black and white cero down at Rena. He then shunpou'ed faster than the cero behind Rena while punching his fists together, two ceros now turning into a fiery looking energy that hung on his fists, He flipped his arms back into a boxers style and ducked side to side twice while gaining coverage closer to Rena with each distance and lifted up in an uppercut to her back, continuing with a high speed fist barrage. Each hit from his machine gun punch would contain the impact of a bala. His last punch he followed it completely through launching a cero through that fist.

(I threw you..if you don't like it lemme know..it's 1am.. )

Rena was chuckling as he dodged the cero then sliced it in half just for the hell of it. She slid her mask down as he came forward and simply jumped up into the air..only to find herself absorbing a Cero into her body a moment later because after his little handstand trick he jumped as well and fired down upon her. Honestly..had it been so long that he had forgotten? Apparently so..as he formed energy similiar to cero's around his fists and began punching at her..she put her arms up and blocked each of his punches by making sure her body stay'd facing him..having time to do this thanks to not having had to do anything about the Cero he fired earlier..absorbing the energy as it came into contact with her skin each time he did it..which reduced the impact of his punches a little bit each time.

As he finished his offense he fired another Cero at her..which was once again absorbed into her body. Though she had caught the hand that had launched that cero..since he had punched while firing it and used the momentum of his own punch to toss him behind her. Before simply looking at him like he had lost his flippin mind. "You didn't forget did you?" She asked almost in disbelief that a person could forget such an awesome power, "I can absorb energy attacks like Cero.. You won't hurt me at all with those..they are a waste of your energy in our match."

She, on the otherhand, pointed a finger towards him and released all the energy she had absorbed outwards along with her own Cero..making it bigger and faster than usual. Seems that they had moved from martial arts to hollow powers.. except he had forgotten her special ability that had nothing to do with her zanpaktou..making his hollow cero and bala useless against her. When the dust cleared from that..assuming he didn't do another rush at her..she'd sigh and shake her head at him. If he had done something else against her..well she kept her guard up so that she wouldn't just get hit by it due to not paying attention.

“Crap” was all he had time to mutter before speeding into the air, the explosion smashed below him as the dust was flung around him. He spotted Rena slightly before it completely engulfed him. How could he forget that the ability wasn’t shikai orientated. He had only seen it few times and always assumed it was part of her shikia abilities. In mid air he unlatched his other chains and flung out of the dust. The chains trailed behind him as he spun and whipped them out, he held the one from before by a ring at the end of the chain, the other one had a handle that’s end was more similar to a bullet spike. When he got around ten feet away from her she sent out both ends toward her arms, he wasn’t aiming for the chest for even though he was into the battle, he didn’t want any blood shed, the points instead of piercing would wrap around her arms. The one with the bullet would not be able to be destroyed by physical means, while the other one could not be destroyed by spiritual means. If the blade made contact with her on the spiritual one, it would take in one bala’s worth of energy.

Kano yanked them over, either she would fly towards him, or he would fly towards her. If her to him he would perform a round house kick, if the other way around he would perform a double foot kick right at her chest. He was going to have to stay away from powers.

Rena sighed a bit as the chains wrapped around her arms.. in fact she hadn't even attempted to move out of their way. She didn't think she could destroy them..because if it was that simple Kano would not have used them. She felt one take some of her energy though..and that annoyed her slightly. He then made another mistake, at least from her point of view, when he tried to tug her towards him. Instead of being tugged to him she yanked the chains and pulled the little bastard to her..which ended in him trying to double kick her in the chest. Something she wasn't about to allow..instead sidestepping and wrapping his own chains around his feet and planting her feet so that when the chains ran out of slack he'd most likely get spun around like a cartoon character and slam into the ground.

She then proceeded to push the chains off her arms. It wasn't like they were locked. They were just chains. She was a little more preoccupied about the time though because she did have to be somewhere with this guy in tow at a certain time. she checked her phone for the time and put it back in her pocket..having found out she still had plenty to spare.

"Hadou no 58.." She said as she put her hands together, "Tenran!" She thrust them forward and created a widening tornado like blast that was quickly hurled in Kano's direction. Should the tornado catch him inside it she would immediately release a shakaho inside the tornado to create a spinning inferno..if he did not get caught by the tornado she would fire another cero at him when he moved or blocked the kidou.

"Are we done with the pidly shit...?" She asked him rather suddenly. It seemed he was avoiding the use of powers..which was a little bit boring because how was she supposed to take the fight seriously if she wasn't being pushed by much, "Le sigh.. I guess I'll have to make the first move since your so damn stubborn.. Cry..havoc.." She drew her blade and it went from a reversed blade katana to a cylinder like weapon that still had the basic form of a sword type weapon. It's three parts spun in reversing directions..the top left..the middle right..and the bottom went left..creating massive frictional energy that was warped and contained around the blade itself..seemingly increasing it's power as it did so. Her body had also made a slight change..as the moisture in the air made slight ice over parts of her body..due to her body now being drastically colder than normal. It wasn't much ice..barely noticable in fact..but it was there.

"How am I supposed to be entertained when your purposely holding back on me. I said not to didn't I?" She said as she pointed a finger at him and fired several cero in rapid succession at him..each one being fired the minute he moved to avoid them..or even if he hadn't moved and had blocked instead.. a total of 6 cero being fired in this manner made it a very bold statement saying to quit with the pidly shit. She waited for the smoke to clear from her cero's..but kept her guard up by keeping track of his spiritual presence.

Kano has been tied up in his chains before, he simply loosened up and whipped the chains free smacking them into the tree's nearby, as the tornado came he pulled up on the chains sending him over the wind blast and pulled down under the cero onto the ground. He landed on his knees and put his hands together almost as a prayer as he noticed her going into shikia. “Lykos, apodosi na choma” his hands glew black and white energy as he pulled apart, while doing this his arms became engulfed with the energy. The form wasn't complete as the cero fired at him, he quickly pulled at the ground and lifted it up almost like lifting up a Rug and slid under it, the cero flung over him and from behind Rena an earth pull are about 1 foot in diameter would flung slanted towards her back. While the cero's were following his movements even under ground, he pushed himself the earth deforming to make room for him up above as he narrowly dodge each cero except the last one which blasted him even faster, his legs hit and a bit in pain but he ignored it.

He popped out about 3 feet in front of Rena, his shikai fully formed. Two black gauntlets that crawl up to between his elbow and wrist, and loose fitting tightly packed snow white chain-link sleeves that went below his fingers. He flung his leg as hard has he could in a spinning kick, reinforcing it with spiritual pressure.

If blocked he would use the surface to spin himself the opposite direction, of dodged he would twist into a hand stand and push back. He would then keep forward on her, making a mock boxing stance however each strike would have spikes on his knuckles. He jabbed out rapidly with each arm, keeping them close to block when needed, and keep attention to his feet encase a trip was aimed at him. He then learned downward and turned into a handstand spinning, however as the feet rose from the ground they pulled up earth that would spike out and he flung his legs out for spinning handstand kick. The earth behind Rena would begin to loosen up and would crumble if she stepped on em.

She pointed her Zanpaktou behind her in a reverse grip manner and fired a beam of black energy in a straight line like a small cero directly into the earth that came for her as he started his call out and shikai transformation.

Rena's arm came up and a bunch of bone formed over it like a shield of sorts..absorbing the impact of Kano's kick like it was nothing. She then pushed that foot back just in time for him to spin around..which would have been interrupted by a swift kick to the side of his leg if he didn't jump away from it.

It was then that Kano continued to bunch at Rena like a boxer. However Rena purposely matched each of his punches with one of her own. The two of them seeming to mimic eachother flawlessly as this continued for a while.

When he went forward into a handstand Rena didn't stick around and jumped into the air while using airwalk to stay there. Stopping herself as an earth bit spiked up towards her..landing on it as it reached it's peak. Then running down it while Kano was doing a spin kick around. Making it back to him and trying to slam down her spinning Zanpaktou onto one of his legs. Her watch beeped as she was doing this however..and she freaked out so bad her spiritual power fluxed and spiked up in a huge burst..most likely knocking Kano down if he hadn't fought for balance.

"Oh crap we have to go! If we don't leave that stupid brat will beat us to the location i told him to go!" She said as she ran off randomly, "Come on kano! If he beats us there i'm gonna get so much crap from him!" With that she continued to run off..already sheathed her Zanpaktou and everything.

Kano easily withstood the spiritual energy, he had been used to it and didn't need much control for balance, he let the energy take him to upright postion as she shouted at him about a bastard beating them to an area. Kano had no idea where they were going but his shikai was back to a ring as he chased after here. He had a nice warm up fight however, his adrenaline was still ticking in his blood, wanting to fight more, but it seems they had other plans he was about to get ready for this dangerous training.
