Fighting Style
General Fighting Style: She is a tactical fighter and relies on her own physical power much more than her Zanpaktou. Though she did not skip out on training with her zanpaktou she's more into using her fists and body as a weapon as opposed to swinging her reversed katana zanpaktou. This is made better for her as she developed a martial art style with many different signature moves which she uses regularly. When she is forced too however she won't hesitate to mix her martial arts and her zanpaktou to fight off a strong opponent. She'd rather not have too..but has resigned to the fact that it is going to be nessicary regardless of what she does to avoid it because her Zanpaktou makes her and her own martial arts stronger as well as increases her array of attacks.
Strengths: Strength, Speed, Kidou and Spiritually powered abilities.
Weaknesses: low pain tolerance, craptastical sensing skills, hollow mask consumes lots of spiritual power per post due to overextending her hollow powers since her hollow IS one of her zanpaktou, spiritual control - she easily loses control of her spiritual energy when angered, irritated, or frightened, can't hide her own spiritual power at all even with kidou.

Enhanced Strength: Despite her slender appearance, Rena is quite strong physically She can easily destroy landscape around her without trying and is known to be capable of breaking bones in even fairly durable opponents and even capable of making most arrancar's heirro seem like it wasn't a nuisance. Though she admits that this result will always vary between Arrancar due to the difference in thickness of their heirro always vary'ing.
Expert Hakuda User: Due to Rena's immense strength she is able to easily fight on par with anyone in combat physically..as such she furthered herself with use of her fist's and any other part of her body that can be used offensively. Though able to use her Zanjutsu to a great extent it's been noted she is far better with her hand to hand.
KidÅ Expert: Rena is well-versed in a mastery of KidÅ through centuries of practice and training. Though she doesn't usually resort to using them in battle she is masterful in using KidÅ to further her capacity in combat - being so experienced she is able to mix it with other fighting techniques.
Immense Spiritual Power - She is no longer afflicted by Reiatsu Overload Sydrome. Allowing her to access and control her own spiritual power at will instead of requiring a ribbon to control it all allowing her to access 100% full power without succumbing to incredible fatigue very quickly. Also due to the awakened blood in her vein's from Kaze Blackwind her spiritual power has increased dramatically as her body has begun to stablize itself from being overloaded for so long due to Rena having a stronger hollow spirit than Rena herself. This caused a 4x improvement upon her spiritual power causing her to be truely on par with her comrades and making her more dangerous than before as her spiritual energy is great enough now to act as a shield from fairly powerful attacks.

Sealed Appearance:
Her Sealed Zanpaktou is a reverse blade katana. It is not meant to cut. She has one ( Aner ) on the back of her waist and it is fully Black in color when sealed. She then has another ( Meka ) on her left hip or in her hand that is fully Blue in color.
Spiritâs Personality: Though powerful, and she'll admit it, she seems overly shy and modest when speaking to others and Rena, but Meka manages to surprise even Rena at times with how deep and wise she is. She may come off timid but she is very stern when lecturing! Unlike the hollow within Rena that wants bloodshed Meka simply wants to end conflicts but is not naive enough to believe that it is so simple to accomplish without bloodshed. She's very kind overall to anything and is pretty optimistic.
Inner World: The castle is where Rena and Her zanpaktou always appear.. Usually in the throne room with Meka sitting in the throne.. but outside the castle is a huge expansive land to explore..Giving Meka plenty to do in Rena's huge spiritual world.

Personality: Aner is a bloodthirsty beast that was pampered and spoiled rotten when Rena was still in the service of her father Kaze. Aner was treated like Kaze's perfect weapon due to his evil and destructive ways..She is nothing more than a killing machine trapped with Rena..which drives her..and Rena..nuts sometimes. They always fight, never see eye to eye unless angry, and Always have issues with what the other does..it is only because Rena was born with Aner that they two are even together.. Inner World: Shared with Rena's true zanpaktou spirit. The two are usually bickering.

Pyramid Barrier - It forms a green pyramid-shaped barrier around the caster. It is immensely strong, able to resist all but the strongest of attacks.
El Escudo (ãšã«ã»ãšã¹ã¯ã, Eru EsukÅ«do; "The Shield") - This summons a powerful barrier on one part of the body that activates when said point is being attacked. it has been shown to successfully fend off a strike from a veteran captain's shikai zanpaktou.

Aizen cast it on the back of his neck to protect his blind spot from attacks and it is powerful enough to withstand a point-blank black Getsuga TenshÅ.

Rules - Level 1 is usable without releasing into shikai or bankai. But level 2 requires at least shikai released to have the energy and level 3 requires bankai to have the power to control these powerful techniques. Focus is usable at all times as it is required in order to use any of these abilities. The abilities can also be used with just about any part of the body. Higher levels can use lower level abilities as well.

*Seikuuken- The user enters a concentrated state that heightens his ability to sense things coming within a 3 yard sphere of influence, however the user has no notion of what is going on outside of that influence while in use due to the concentration. Anything that enters this sphere automatically registers in the mind giving them the change to block, dodge, or attack whatever enters with a small premonition on the path of the attack. this move can be used for 3 posts before concentration takes its toll on the mind for focusing on the attacks, can be extended to 5 posts however fatigue state would come sooner, 2 post cool down to regain energy for concentration again.
*Ryuusei Seikuken- unlike Seikuken, this move brings in the sphere of influence inward. This move can not be used if the user is effected by any emotions that could disrupt focus, a calm mind is absolutely needed, this move consists of three stages, it takes a bit of time to transition to each, not instant. Lasts 2posts with a 3 post cool down. Stage one: Reading the flow of the opponent, as in concentrating souly on one person, no range of influence needed, this allows the user to more accurately predict an attack, however notion towards other attacks is almost disregarded unless the attack made by the target. Step Two: Combining opponent's movements with your own, the user in second post asses the knowledge taken from reading the path and combines the movements in their own almost mimicking movements of the opponent in their own making dodging a whole lot better. Step Three: Overpower the opponent by anticipating his moves and use his flow against him before he even thinks of it, this is the final stage allowing for almost an advanced premonition on the attacks. Concentration must be upheld, any emotion could cause all this to crumble.
Focus - The body bulks without overdoing it. Thus a wireframed person would gain all the perfect muscle they could get without changing their natural physic. This lasts for 10 posts and has a cooldown of 5 as it would at least double someone's strength unless they were already perfectly muscled. This ability must be active to use any of the other abilities listed in this section. Also let it be known only one type of attack may be active at one time.
Hwajeh ( Level 1 ) - using inner chi the focuser is capable of creating a barrage with their fists that looks like it's on fire. This flaming look is not fire but due to the speed of the punches can leave friction burns on anything that is near the punches or is hit by the punches unfortunately it also burns the users hands with each use. The actual number of attacks is double the normal that can be seen. Where as MOST people would only see one attack there would actually be two in rapid succession. after 5 uses the hands will begin to go numb from pain for 2 posts.
Ahryu P'ung ( Level 1 ) - using inner chi the focuser is capable of punching with such a force that shockwaves are created in the same size as a fist increasing the blunt force damage it does if it hits someone or something due to being small and concentrated. Due to the nature of this punch it is slightly stronger than the punch that created it but is as slow ( or fast in some cases ) as the punch that made it. This can be used once every post.
Patoh Pah ( Level 1 ) - using inner chi the focuser is capable of smashing terrain and causing earthquakes with either the hands or feet. This can cause massive blunt force damage if a person it hit with it as the area of effect would cover the entire body. on a person it's 3 feet or half of their body whichever is smaller. on landscape it can be up to 40 yards. This can be used once every other post.
Onslaught ( Level 2 ) - using inner chi the focuser is capable of increasing the speed of their attacks to where the user is able to punch or kick 4 times in the blink of an eye. This however can only apply to one limb per post. once chosen it can't be changed til the next post. This can't be used more than once every 3 posts.
Primus ( Level 2 ) - using inner chi the focuser is capable of releasing their spiritual energy to the point they fire a column of energy into the sky from their body and cause a bunch of punches to rain from the sky in the form of a small ball of energy thats formed like a fist. The farther an opponent is the more scattered and easier to dodge this ability becomes. The optimal range for good accuracy is 30 feet. This can't be used more than once every 3 posts.
Fulguration ( Level 2 ) - using inner chi the focuser is capable of greatly altering the landscape around them with gravitational force. Enough gravitational force is generated to effect any single individual but will never exceed greater than double the max they can withstand. Their punch happens so quickly with so much force that it sucks in everything withing 10 feet towards the center of the fist..and this suction happens so fast it's very difficult to get out of range. This ability causes a invisible ball of energy that is the source of the suction. This ball sits directly outside the safe zone in which the user is always in the middle of. This safe zone is big enough to protect the user but small enough to where it can't be exploited unless the opponent hugs her before being effected by the suction force. This can't be used more than once every 3 posts.
Me'tosha ( Level 3 ) - using inner chi the focuser is capable of creating a circle of energy along the ground around the user and their foe. The circle takes but a moment to set up. This speeds the user up to be using shunpo ( or equal ) while in the circle basically nonstop. it only lasts the one post but anyone who's good in speed and has shunpo would still be faster than user if they are higher tier. This can't be used more than once every 4 posts. The circle itself is only 20 feet in diameter..only enough to encase the user and their foe most of the time.
Aura Smash ( Level 3 ) - using inner chi the focuser is capable of turning their entire body into a weapon. Causing a simple tackle to turn into a devastating charge of destruction. To ensure the effectiveness of this ability it outputs the users spiritual energy encasing them in a special shield that causes a slight miss to turn into a full forced hit. basically it causes them to be capable of barbaristic destruction more easily. Unfortunately this "shield" doesn't protect the user at all. in fact the only way it can actually help with defense at all is if the user is defending offensively with punches and kicks and the likes. This can't be used more than once every 5 posts.
Tencho Burst ( Level 3 ) - using inner chi the focuser is capable of furthering the initial buff of the Focus ability to a new height. Pushing the body to it's absolute limitations by tripling the physical capabilities. Fortunately it doesn't cut speed down when it does this..but by keeping speed it tolls more heavily on the body and can't be used for more than 3 posts before being unable to use it or Focus for another 15 posts assuming the muscles get a chance to cool down. Double that number if the muscles can't cooldown. ( Meaning no combat at all or a very easy fight )

Rhythm Echo - The Rhythm Echo is a motion that creates an afterimage of the body through a varying cadence of steps. There is a total absence of noise during the movement and multiple phantoms ( up to 5 which one can really be Rena and those too leave after images.. so even though it LOOKS like there is more than 5..there is truely only 5 to strike. ) This ability is cancelled when hit by an AOE style attack that covers the area that contains the User. The moment the user stops simply doing a walk motion to activate this ability, it is cancelled.
Ocular Shift - she can change the colors of her eyes to any color.

Description:
(In regards to what happens to the left one when the Bakkoutou is released. it is covered up by the gauntlet but the back plates symbols still show on the top of the gauntlet and the knuckle spikes still show through. you just can't see the fabric anymore. )
Effects: These gloves allow for the wearer to manipulate and control earth and ground. This does not work for metal or metalloids. The user must be touching ground or rock to work. The affect can only go up for a max of 50 feet before whatever was being done stops. So if she creates a spike of earth it can go 50 before it stops and stays put. When fighting an earth user. These gloves do NOT override their ability to manipulate earth. The gloves only cause an immediate change..but she doesn't actually have any lasting control over it herself. Only earth touching the gloves cannot be controlled by another person.
These gloves follow the Laws of Conservation of Matter. Meaning they cannot create more than what is being used. (Example I make a 10 foot wall. I'd have to use up the ground around me to make it. it cannot make anything from nothing) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Description: it is a brown mantle with a large draw string closure at the collar and a large brooch. It is easily also called a full body cloak without a hood. as it was seen covering a majority of ichigo's body with his arms were at it's side.
Effects: TentÅken seems to require no skill or previous experience to use. It also seems to be superior to the wand version Yoruichi owned, since it allows one to hover in mid-air and does not immobilize one of the user's hands. This seems to work even in Soul Society whose walls keep Air-walk from happening due to the special rocks making up all of Seireitei.

Dark Crystal - She is able to create dark crystals that brim with negative energy and are at 10 degree's Farenheit in temperature at all time making them extremely cold to the touch. She is able to form these from nothing at a amount of 20 feet total a post and she can't form them more than 100 feet away from her being. She can however create some dark crystal and hurl it at her opponent as a projectile weapon past this 100 range she just can't control it once it leaves the range ( so no homing ). She does not have to touch the crystal herself in order to control it. So it seems like she has telekenetic powers but she really doesn't. She can also hurl said created shards from her blade itself as it is made of the very same material she is creating during shikai. This means of using it is limitless but can only be used to hurl foot long shards at a quantity of 3 per swing..this also means her blade is at 10 degree's and covered in negative energy at all times and is able to leave 1/2 inch of ice on anything within 1 foot of it's swinging arc as long as it can be affected by temperature due to its coldness not enough to really do anything but it would definitely be noticable. Each projectile shards hardness is increased as if covered in an slightly above average heirro by an arrancar of equal tier to Rena.
Bone Shards - All of her bones in shikai become shards of the very dark crystal she uses to attack with. Making her just as cold and giving her a more defensable body. She is able to repair this shards if damaged fairly quick but can only regenerate them 50 at a time. There are 206 bones in the body thus she has 206 shards in her body during shikai. She is able to spike out dark crystal from her skin at any point in her body without pain to herself and is capable of covering herself in a thick layer of Dark crystal allowing for even more defense. however..the full body cover uses more than her body can regenerate in one post..thus is only usable once per 4 to 5 posts. ( technically 4 and a half for full regeneration ) However a limitation to this is she cannot make the dark shards within her body leave bodily contact (So she can't shoot crystals out of her body.) When used as a full body armor it can last up to 2 posts ( which doesn't start her CD til it's over ) and during this amount of time it is like she has a arrancar hierro on an average level for her tier.
(Example of use - someone punches her chest. she can have a crystal spike out without harming her physical structure -Think Kimimaru from Naruto with his bones-) (Example of use - Someone fires hadou no 31 at her. she coveres her entire body in dark crystal to lessen the overall damage she would have sustained.) (Example of use - someone touches her with their bare hands without any cold protection. They would get frost burns and possibly even frostbite.)
Cryo-Shield - Rena is capable of creating an instant shield of ice that acts like Bakudo no 81: Danku except not nearly as strong..as this ice shield can only block one standard cero's worth of power before fading. She can use this ability once per five posts.
New Name: kurai hi megami ( Dark Ice Goddess ) Call out: Appearance: Her cloths and hat actually turn blue instead of their normal colors and gain a thin layer of ice armor over it that doesn't impede her ability to move at all while neither Meka or Aner change at all. Her reiatsu also goes from blackish red to blueish black.

Ice/Water Manipulation - The name almost speaks for itself..In essence she is able to control and manipulate ice and water regardless of circumstances. She is able to increase the speed of what the ice and water is doing by double if she uses her hands to guide the actions though. This has a 500 foot range. Once it exits this she has no control over it at all.
Water Creation: she is capable of creating water from essentially nothing using the power of her Zanpaktou and her own spiritual pressure, empowering it with her reiatsu so that it can be used as a weapon..without actually changing the nature of the water itself. She can only create within 150 feet of herself.
Water conversion: she is able to covert water to ice and vice versa and control it thus as if it were made by her..however if the water or ice is already in motion she needs time to do it. So she can't convert them if it is within 10 feet of her and moving. It'll hit her anyways.
Purity: She can remove the impurities in the water around her, creating a liquid that is below the freezing point, and cooling it further and causing it to become quick ice if it hits another object.
Mastery: Her Bankai grants her retainership of her Shikai powers. She does not lose them. But they do not change other than what would increase due to her increased spiritual power from bankai state.

Dark Pulse - she is able to release black energy from her body to such a degree that it would cause even high powered Kidou to be diverted from her being The kidou being diverted can't be higher thnan level 40 on either hadou or bakudo however..otherwise it will only impede it's speed but not make it miss. having an immense spiritual capacity due to her parents allows her to do this once per 2 post. This burst is powerful enough to send enemies close to her flying back to up to 40 feet. She can also focus this energy into her hands and release it as a bala-similiar attack though it is much slower and a little more powerful. When this "bala" come into contact with any object it explodes with a small burst of 5 feet.

Boushi yami ( Spinning Darkness ) - This ability has to do with her Zanpaktou itself..The zanpaktou is not like traditional blades in the respect it cannot cut. Inside it has three cylinder shaped parts that spin at insane speeds in altering directions while creating a large amount of energy. This spinning is upon activation only and the energy stays wrapped around the blade at all times unless released. The longer the blade spins without release. The stronger it gets. ( 5% power increased per post. max of 50% increase ) This energy is warped from the blood of Kaze that runs through Rena's blood Causing her energy from her weapon to be pitch black and the energy her body puts out to be black as well. Due to the high speed spinning..the blade also has a high amount of friction which creates heat..making the blade impossible to touch with bare skin without being burned.
Ankoku Shuuha ( Darkness Release ) - When her Zanpaktou spins it creates an enormous amount of energy and friction. this energy can be released in the form of a massive wave. or in a spear like motion by thrusting it and releasing. ( it would look more like a kamehameha beam than a spear when thrusted ) this is possible once every post as it takes that much time for the spinning to generate more energy. The energy is the same as the rest of her energy cold to the touch yet capable of leaving burns on flesh.

Back Drop
Background:
Rena is the child of Kaze the Blackwind. She was conceived between him and a female named Lenara back when Kaze was still capable of gaining a lover which was over 900 years ago. thus she was raised as a vizard and helped along with her hollow control and powers as well as her shinigami powers and Zanpaktou, Eien Yuki, She lived life as Kaze lived it..as a merciless brute who attacked and killed alot of innocent people. She was raised as an animal whose sole purpose in life was to horribly maim and kill anything and everything that Kaze deemed unworthy of life and she didn't know any better because she had never taken the time to realize that wasn't the only way to live a life and was not taught any other way. She soon found a person she couldn't kill however..someone stronger than herself. This person talked to her throughout their fight and tried to reason with her. This created a doubt inside of Rena's mind and heart and as time passed Rena felt an urge to start a new life and begin something else..an urge her Father didn't like one bit. When she first brought it up she was laughed at..and then when she persisted on the notion of leaving and tried to run away Kaze grew furious and quickly began to try and annihilate his own daughter. somehow.. she managed to flee from her father's grasp. Now she travels on her own trying to see the world from the new perspective granted by her freedom.
Eventually she had joined the Gotei 13 during a brief period where they actually allowed vizards within their ranks. It was during this time she was taken under the wing of a man named Selkie by being his vice-captain. The two eventually became close and after a certain incident that caused Rena to be infuriated with Selkie, Rena left the gotei 13 and joined the Kishimasuku the organization of vizards..challenging it's leader and almost defeating him before he quit the fight bluffing that he was about to destroy the base with his power. After a few decades with the Kishimasuku though she eventually became it's leader.. it was during this time that she actually forgave Selkie and the two ended up getting married.
more time passed and once again Rena ended up drifting from the kishimasuku as her personality had changed to the point of being too moody to be a leader. That and her father had joined it..causing her to hatefully leave the place. Now she simply wanders the world of the living at will doing just about anything she pleases..though she still stands on the side of justice. As she started to become more and more unpredictable she started to form her own type of martial arts and then sought to teach someone with growth potential her art. She had even changed her hair color and cut it shorter during this time as well as changing her clothing style to be more like a deliquent than a mature vizard of great power. During her "free time" of doing as she pleases however.. her father had actually called her asking for help..and in the battle that ensued he had died in an actual heroic attempt to protect his daughter. Rena..even in her hatred of her father..could not help but grieve and ended up going on a blind rage on the one that caused his death..ending with the battles swift retreat of the enemy.

Alright. i know you didn't have this in RotR, but do you think you could put a range for her water powers. Kano's is 2.5miles in bankai, so around that range wouldnt be a problem.
Also Crimson Bolt, Your powers are Dark and Ice. adding lightning to her powers plus the water manipulation would be to many elements. not to mention the dark elements from shikai equialing 3 element usage in Full Vizard wich i believe is abit to much.
Also can a tier level be set that is uneffected by Madness aura 1 tiers with strong spiritual pressure should be able to fight it off with their own.
Also can you put some cap on Runic that to much energy would overwhelm Rena or soemthing. Its close to OP that a person could send out their strongest attack and Rena could absorb it harmlessly. if not add a cap, state that you would get some percentage of damage from the attack. That really is all 1-1 Tier Change upon Approval

Nope. Full Hollow Form do not benefit from shikai and bankai abilities. They are their own thing all together. Though I ment to change that to be a darkness bolt that LOOKED like lightning and but acted like energy.

Oh I plan to put 500 feet. I doubt any battle would take a longer range than that.

You remember that this only absorbs pure energy based attacks right? Thats not exactly OP. It just makes her immune to one damage type. Physical people and elemental people could still bypass this with no issue.
You should also remember that when grand used his final attack even though it WAS energy I didn't absorb it all and allowed myself to be damaged anyways. I'll tinker with it but don't expect much.

Actually I was thinking of taking out stage two of those entirely.. and changing what stage one did entirely.
What do you think I should do? What all could I get away with? I'm not really sure.

honestly i rarly see you use Ocular so it seems useless xD plus with this new fighting style isnt it more intimidated to rely on hearing and sensing spiritual pressure as you always have?

Well during my overhaul of her weaknesses in a pitiful attempt to nerf her without weakening her..her sensing skill has gone down. ..I guess i'll just leave the eyes alone for now.. since I only tend to use them as a scare thing anyways. Which doesn't tend to work unless i'm purposely psychologically attacking someone with my spiritual pressure.

Actually... this was better balanced than I thought it would be...no ocular abilities, just the change in eye color...average durability and stamina, low pain tolerance, can't sense nor hide, and crappy mask control so it takes more energy to use...though hardly using it makes it small. But it still could use some. The mood swings is a character flaw. But I would like to have one more little to moderate weakness...as the three you state are actually kinda small. Well, the last one you rarely use anyway. An elemental weakness maybe? Then I will second/approve it.

Lightning - nope.. water bankai is supercooled and removed of all impurities outside of the molecular bond forming the water itself.. thus in this state it is a poor conductor
Light? - well i do have a dark energy attack.. but how does being weak against holy/light make ANY sense since i'm not evil or anything?
Water - ...it just became mine if I'm higher tier.
Ice - ..refer to above.
Earth - ...again..how does this even make sense..
Wind - ..refer to above..
darkness - ..uh... I USE this.. so....
Energy - uh.... I absorb this.. so....

Your gonna have to start giving me ideas.. it took me 30 minutes with kairu AND james help to get that list as it is.

Special Notes - Rena's zanpaktou spirit, her hollow, dislikes Rena so much that she refuses to work correctly unless she is fed enough spiritual pressure. Which she absorbs through direct combat against any opponent. There is no effect on the opponent during this "feeding" there is no bonus to Rena for this "feeding" it takes 3 posts of direct combat to feed Meka enough to use shikai, 2 if fighting against a bankai or equal, and immediately able if someone releases Toukai or equal. To use bankai she must feed for 5 posts total counting the ones that were used to unlock shikai, 4 total if fighting against a bankai, and she becomes able to use Bankai immediately if she has unlocked her shikai AND is fighting someone of toukai level.
