Personality: She is a motherly and kind woman. She doesn't like to fight or kill, although she will defend herself if she has to. She's more likely to run away though, if she can out run her opponant. She has a great fondness for Hiei, and most other children or spiritual beings who look like children. She loves Jensen very much, despite the fact they've been seperted for over 1550 years. She Also misses Helena, and still feels great regret, grief and guilt because she killed her.
Marie cannot stand to see people hurt, whether arrancar, hollow, human or shinigami, she will heal them if they're badly hurt. However, she does not like to extend this privelage upon someone who spends their time killing and hurting others, but sometimes she will, especially if she thinks they've learned a leason from being beaten to a pulp. She will not heal someone who hurts a child, or kills innocent people, humans or otherwise.
After her second death, she's become a little thougher. In the face of danger, she's learned to stay calm and control her panic and fear, and even when a freind or loved one comes close to death she keeps her cool and heals them. She no longer fears dying, but does not want to leave her family again, especaially if she has an extra responsibilty. She misses her young arrancar freind, but knows he's safe with her crazy daughter.
Mental bond: Marie and Jensen are mentally bonded. They can feel the general direction each other is in, and what demension. They can also feel each others emotions, though this can be supressed. They cannot communicate telepathically however, or feel each others thoughs.
Likes: Children, comfort, safety. Helping and healing those in need. Jensen.
Fears: Arngrim, Losing Jensen, war.
Character Appearance
Height: 5'5â
Weight: 125 lb
Physical Traits: Marie has hazel eye's, brown with hints of green around the middle. Her skin is pale with very little color in it. Her hair is Blonde and only shoulder lenght, and she usually keeps it tied up.. She has lost a few years age wise, and appears allot younger than she originally was when she died.
Clothing: Either the dress in the picture or A blue dress slashed with white, and long white sleeves that fall loose around the wrist. The dress is parted near the knee for mobility, and falls to around the ankles.
Accessories: She wears ceramic ornaments in her hair, that look like horns.
Fighting Style
General Fighting Style: She doesn't fight if she can help it, she will run away if confronted. She cannot shunpo or use Kido. The only powers she has are remnants of her old abilities from when she was an arrancar. She cannot sense reiatsu. She does have a large amount though, another remnant of her old self. She is fast, but not as fast as before.
Marie does not have a Zanpakuto spirit, though she has a knife similar in design to her old Zanpakuto. Because she was almost killed by someone other than a shinigami before she was purified by Jensen, she lost her Zanpakuto spirit, as the connection between them was broken.
Maries healing arts are very similar in design to Kido, but the difference is enough that she cannot use Kido.

Weaknesses: No kido, no Zan spirit, no sensing.

Healing arts
Abilities: Delve: This healing spell allows Marie to insert a tendril of Reiatsu into someone to asses the wounds she cannot see, such as broken bones, internal bleeding, so on. It also identifies if someone's been poisoned, if they are sick, and if both are natural or unatural poisons and sickness. Requires direct contact.
Wash it Away: This healing spell allows Marie to wash away one's fatigue, delaying Fatigue state by three posts. However it is not without its draw backs, as fatigue state lasts one post extra. Can be used at any time, such as the start of the battle, but only once per character per thread. Requires direct contact.
Bath in light: This healing spell negates the effect of all poisons and diseases on the body. Any active poisons/diseases stop effecting the person, and they are immune to all poisons/diseases for five posts. (if someone had a cold, it would clear up for those 5 posts but come back later.) Once per thread per person. Requires direct contact.
Sunshine carress: Marie can heal like a shinigami or high speed regen, but at an increased rate. This ability can restore limbs. It takes around 3 to 5 posts of contact to restore an arm or leg, and heal all serious wounds. Even if the bleeding is stopped, and the person brought back from unconciousness, they will not be back a 100% fight capability.
One post of healing a single person takes 2% of her reiatsu so a full heal takes 10% of her Reiatsu. This ability is always active, and does not heal her unless the requirements of Between Life and Death are met. Requires direct contact.
Preserve the light: If marie lacks the power to heal someone, she can, at the behest of an ally, take some of their Reiatsu to aid in the process. She never uses the injured persons Reiatsu, though its possible, as it is dangerous and may leave them fatigued or cause more harm. She will only take from a healthy person, and only if she is running low on power. Again, this requires permission, and contact with the doner. She can't just grab an enemy and take from them, and she can't take more than 10% of someone's reiatsu.
Between Life and Death: If marie is seriously injured/knocked out, her body will begin to heal itself using Sunshine Carress. If a person so wills it, they can aid in her healing by touching her when she's unconcious. Any contact will activate Preserve the Light automatically if she's unconcious, even if the person is an enemy. The person touching her will feel a drain, and should know to let go if they dont want to help heal her.
Back Drop
Background: Marie was born in england, Mercia, in 620. Her parents were people of relatively high standing. She lived a sheltered and focused life, spending her first 18 years learning to tend a husband and raise a family. She had many siblings, most younger than her, and 1 older brother. She had a great love for kids, and spent a lot of time caring for her younger siblings with her mother. She had a wayward love afair that ended badly, when she caught her lover with another man. Not only that, but her brother found out, and killed the man.
Her parents arranged a marriage, and she was suddenly engaged to a young captain named Jensen Reinhart. They married about a month after here 18th birthday. At first she was unsure, but set to do as she was told, and after a while she got used to the idea, and they fell in love eventually. The had several children together, but for what ever reason, only Ashen survived passed his first year.
When marie was 30, Jensen died, and she was left alone to tend to her son. However, her brother helped her get by, and trained Ashen to fight when he was young. She was left with little to do, so she took to tending to Her neices and nephews and other such things. 15 years passed, with very little happening, and then Ashen died. Marie died when she was 50.
during her time as a spirit she walked the world searching for her husband or son, but never once glanced them. Her soul chain ran out and she turned hollow. Her life as a hollow was short she was eaten by a gillian. However through force of will she pushed her way into control and the beast forcibly evolved, and not into an adjuchas. For some reason, She woke as an arrancar, in complete control of herself, but at least 300 years had passed, as if she'd gone into some kind of stasis. She met another Arrancar of the Menos forest, a man named arngrim. She was afraid, and joined him for protection. Caught up in grief, she had a child with him, and for a time was happy. However as time passed, and helena began to show signs of instability, Arngrim decided it was best if she be destroyed. He had planned on doing it himself.
Marie would not allow it, and killed the girl quickly, then fled. After that, she learned to fend for herself, usually fleeing from battle. She would go to the human world to gather food, and spent allot of the following years traveling around it, doing things she could never do in life. She found herself enjoying life, but with the increase of activity in the human world, and the discovery of arrancar thanks to Aizen's rebellion, She was forced to return to hueco mundo where it was safer for her kind.
On her return, she met a small arrancar named hiei. The boy was badly injured and she brought him back from the brink of death. Arngrim Arrived, and Hiei defended her. After that she stayed by the boys side, healing his wounds after his various battles and beatings.
As time when on she began to grow happy. However it wasn't long before she discovered her son was alive, in the human world. She went to see him and was met rather coldly, but she learned a few things from him. Ashen told her that Jensen was a shinigami of soul society. Then he sent her away because she was an arrancar in a dangerous place. Ashen did contact Jensen though.
It took a while, but Marie and Jensen finally found each other after alomost 1600 years. It was awkard at first but they managed to cross the gap that kept them appart for so long. They parted ways, intent on meeting again, when Marie was ambushed by Helena. Despite her efforts, Marie could not escape her daugter who'd suffered so much because marie had killed her.. She fell to her knees and accepted death, as a crystal drove through her chest.
Marie smiled, and appologies to her daughter, and Helena forgave her.. As Marie started to die, her soul scattering to the four winds, Jensen returned and, though he hesitated, drove his blade into her.
The cleansing aura of The zanpakuto killed her before the crystal, though she lost a part of herself in death, before she returned as a Plus. Helena had killed Marie's Zanpakuto spirit, And in doing so destroyed part of her powers, so that she would never be a full shinigami.
The part of her power that remained was her reiatsu, but now purer. Instead of the purple it was before it now shone a radiant white. She rediscovered the ability to heal over time. Jensen eventually found her in Rukongai, with the help of an old machine Anz had created to help Jensen find his family, and they were finally reunited. They restored their marrage vows, and lived happily ever af-
Oh wait.. About a month after getting married again, soul society was invaded by an insane vizard and the Gotei were destroyed. The maggots from the nest escaped, and Jensen, along with many of the captains, vanished. And she found herself once more, alone. There was something else... Oh right, she was pregnant, though not very far along. Fun times.
