Xerxes is anything but sane; he is strange awkward and has a thing for sharp objects. Though being a Quincy, he has a thing for technology and creating things. Being a survivor of a tragic event, Xerxes isn’t all there; he is prone to loud outburst and is very random at what he says and does appearing to be very nervous without really being nervous. He is a meticulous intellectual and is very good at estimating and gathering information beforehand. He always has a comment or two to say and is always gesturing some kind of exaggerated hand jester or is always moving as he speaks. Seeing as though he is somewhat of a mad man, laughing hysterically at times for no reason; he rarely gets mad. Getting this Quincy angry is very difficult seeing as though it is practically not even in his conscience any more and as well was a trait he had gotten from Jensen. Xerxes has a talent for overlooking a situation, he is able to overlook everything even if his friends are in danger he is able to think outside the box.

He is very confident in his own ability and in himself and proves to be right down to the point seeing life as it is and admitting he doesn’t know what would happen in the future. Being very rational, he wouldn’t go into a fight without a cause; he doesn’t care if one was good or if one was bad, he has to have a cause. Seeing as though he is very logical, at times he will do things or react based on logic; however his logic isn’t very sane. He is not very serious and makes people worry because he doesn’t appear to understand or appear to cope with the situation. Looks are very deceiving when it comes to Xerxes; being insane, he gives the impression of a fool when in reality he knows much more than what people would have known. Despite his odd character, he is very loyal and courageous being able to walk in a situation without knowing the results without even a thought about it to save his loved ones. He is very clever when it comes to his opponents being stronger than him and he rather be safe than sorry. Being very well organized, he becomes touchy in a very strange way to keep it that way.

When he speaks, he has an almost melodic sound to it which randomly goes back and forth from his regular soft pitch to a high pitch and then back towards his regular pitch; giving him a bit of a poncy accent. In general Xerxes appears to be very crazy; however he is quite friendly and kind though at the same time being very creepy. He would help almost anyone who asks for it without considering his own being. He isn’t scared very easily and strange or creepy things catch his interest. He is easily entertained and can enjoy the same joke over and over again and even when he is in an argument he is easily entertained even if the tables were turned to him. He is terrible at remembering names and instead of asking for the person’s name again, he would call them a completely random name. He isn’t one for excuses and doesn’t seem to like the sounds of explosions. When in fear, he tends to make exaggerated scenes which appear to be quite amusing though it doesn’t normally last too long as he would forget about what he was doing. There are only a few selected people who can actually get Xerxes to calm down; which would be the only time characters would see a more gentle side of him.

Xerxes used to look very similar to his ancestor Jensen Reinhart, however this was piror to the incident that changed him forever. Xerxes has amber-orange eyes and dark skin with long mid back silver hair which was dark brown when he was younger. His hair is pretty unique and silky, his bangs are divided down the middle and go just below the eyes, his hairstyle is layered with a soft messy look and a bit spiked up while the rest comes down if it were silk though with several braids; at times his hat will push the spikes downwards and when it’s wet his spikes aren’t visible till it dries again. He is fairly tall, lean-built, but has both his hands and arms burned making his hands black from his hands down his arm and stopping midway as if they were gloves even though they are a part of his skin. He also has the same pattern on his legs and black stripes on his back. He has sharp black claw like nails and distinguished fangs which give him a beast like appearance as well as four thin and long devils like tails which are wrapped around his waist unless he takes them out of his clothing. He also has a stitch that comes from one side of his face down to the other side and a few other stitches just randomly around his body. His most noticeable trait is his psychotic grin and black upper lip.

Xerxes outfit unlike most Quincy’s is black with a white sash and many voodoo like beads alongside his tall hat which has a white ribbon coming out of it. He is almost always in uniform unless he decides otherwise.

Accessories: a hat, a tall fancy hat which he can never let goes; he loves his hat and he always keeps it flattery at times making it even taller or adding ribbons and flowers to it.

Fighting Style

General Fighting Style:
Xerxes doesn’t normally enter a fight unless he really has to or unless he is protecting someone or something and he rarely attacks first; however when he engages into battle it is normally with a plan. Drawing out the battle he tends to find his opponents weakness before taking them on; he is rarely serious in battle, often complimenting and even allowing himself to taste the ability in order to see how strong it is and even comparing and contrasting with others and even himself. He doesn’t like to take a life, but when a situation calls for it he doesn’t hesitate. Strangely when he is battling, he never hesitates, once he makes up his mind he sticks to it unless he decides to change the plan. Being a strategist he is able to come up with the strangest plans and will try to outsmart his opponent. He is equipped to fight both far and close range, but he mainly fights closed range, however he has a keen eye for spotting an enemy, but it isn't as impressive as his spiritual awareness. By the mere sense of the reistu, Xerxes can tell the distance, the strength and even the race. Once he finds the target he uses his thick arrows to pierce them. He normally fights his opponents by using his bow as a weapon and a shield; for the tip and the bottom of the bow are as sharp as a sword while the body is thick enough to be a perfect shield. If necessary he is also prone to using his sharp nails and pointy tails to impale an object, he is also able to use these things in climbing or for opening things like cans. His nails and tail is strong enough to break through cement with ease. he also has a beat mode (Which will be approved in abilities)

Strengths:
Xerxes is a specialist at sensing reitsu and unless one is a bount or is using a special equipment than he is able to sense that person. He has keen Marksmanship and a vast stamina to boot with his vast speed. He is a master in Reiryoku Absorption and a specialist at Reiryoku Manipulation: being one of the few Quincy’s who are able to create Javelin out of nothing and as well as other objects, he is also able to channel his Reiryoku into an object thus tripling its strength making him seem like he has immense strength with in reality his physical strength sucks. With his reiryoku he is also able to regenerate body parts within three to five posts unless it’s his tails which is the only object that comes back within one post and his minor injuries which will heal within two posts. Also because of this he is able to take more hits than the average person and continue moving even though his body isn’t very durable. He is very flexible because he is a beast and though his strength sucks, his tails are as sharp as a zanpakutou’s blade and strong enough to impale even the toughest hierro.

Weaknesses: Xerxes arrows are larger than the original Quincy arrows, making them also slower than the average arrow. He sucks at hand to hand combat and will not use it seeing as though without his weapon, his physical strength is equal towards a normal human’s strength. His physical strength isn’t something he can rely on, a human without powers and pure muscle could easily overwhelm him, however this does not apply towards his tails; his tails are strong enough to impale a person even with durability as strength. He is highly affected towards elemental based abilities more than energy based abilities and as well as the sounds of explosions seem to make him nervous. Also though he can easily take hits, his body is easily breakable and though he doesn’t respond to pain the same way as others, it still affects him.

Weapons & Abilities

Quincy Bow

The bow is about 6' tall and looks like the picture above. It is used as a weapon for both close and distant battles. This bow takes it’s shape and size based off Xerxes’s pure energy.

Ransōtengai— this is a high level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of spirit energy controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless spiritrons. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement. Being a specialist, Xerxes has no problem in using this technique.
He is a master in Reiryoku Absorption and is more dangerous in SS/Hm; he is able to use this to increase the strength in the weapons he uses making his strength strong enough to impale a durability specialist a (2 tiers in ss/hm) tier above his own. He is also able to use this in order to take more hits than the average human, making him last longer in battles.

Being a specialist at Reiryoku Manipulation: he is the only Quincy’s who is able to create Javelin out of nothing and as well as other objects such as string or a rope, he is also able to regenerate body parts within three to five posts unless it’s his tails which is the only object that comes back within one post and his minor injuries which will heal within two posts.

• Spirit Javelin: It’s whit and has the effect and speed of a bala.
  
  Spirit spear: is a long raged ability since it will damage himself as well as the other person; it is also white with the effect of two cero’s and a two post cool down.
  
  Spirit boom: it charges up and shoots a blast just like through a punch or a kick with the effects of a cero.
  
  Spirit rope is a strong as a bakudou 80 with a three posts cool down.
  
  Spirit rampage: is as strong as a kidou 62 with a three post cool down; it’s one spirit Javelin which is thrown towards the target before it disintegrates into numerous short rods which each half the effect of a bala.
  
  Spirit absorption: works only on energy based abilities; it is able to absorb any energy based ability and either shoot it back or drop down a cool down; kidou 1-40 drops 1 cool down, 41-60 drops two and 61-80 drops 3 and 81-whatever drops 4 posts cool down and the same rules apply for the cool down posts.
  
  Phoenix feathers: six spirit feathers appear three between each finger; when thrown each of them have the effects of a kidou 40 with a two post cool down.
  

Special Arrows:

Licht Regen (光の雨 (リヒト・レーゲン), Rihito Rēgen; German/Dutch for "Light Rain", Japanese for "Rain of Light"): Uryū first used this technique in conjunction with his new spirit bow Ginrei Kojaku. A large amount of Reiryoku is gathered at Uryū's left shoulder, much like when he used the Quincy: Letzt Stil. With this technique he fires a volley of arrows at a single target. It took three years for Xerxes to figure out how to do this ability and as well as perfection it. Three posts cool down.

Arrow of truth: only works on wicked spirits such as arrancars, sinners, etc; however this is also used if someone is being brainwashed or is being controlled by a dark spirit. It will harm the dark spirit without hurting the person. Good guys are immune to this and as well as those pure in heart. It has the strength of a gran rey cero in shape of a phoenix.

Light guardian: an arrow which than becomes a beautiful white phoenix which locks on to the oponents reitsu and follows that particular reitsu and causes the effect of a cero oscuro. Six posts cool down.

Seele Schneider: The Seele Schneider is a thin sword that can be fired similarly to an arrow. It's much longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw: the spirit particles of its blade vibrate at ultra-high frequencies, loosening the molecular bonds between any spirit matter it cuts so that the Quincy user may easily absorb the freed spirit particles. Being part of the R&D in the coalition he received it.

Gintou (All four):
Heizen (聖噬, haizen; German for "heat") — this technique creates a transparent, rectangular beam of energy from silver tubes which slices through the opponent. It is activated by the command "Feel the wrath of battle and accept this sacred chalice - Sacred Bite! This abilities power is comparable to a hadou no 31.

Gritz (五架縛, gurittsu) — this technique forms a man-sized pentacle symbol which envelops its target. It is activated by the command "A silver rod strikes the five-fingered stone bed - Quintuple Restraining Frames!" This ability is on par with bakudo no 63.

Wolke (緑杯, vorukōru; German for "cloud") — this technique uses a silver tube to create a large blast. While it may not be intended for use as such, Uryū uses it to cushion the impact of a fall. It is activated by the command "Tilt the goblet to the west - Emerald Grail!" This is equal in power to about two and a half bala's worth of concussive force.

Sprenger (破芒陣, supurengeru; German for "explosion") — This technique uses five Seele Schneiders to create a pentagram-shaped seal, which when activated causes a massive explosion within its borders. The Seele Schneiders function as accumulators, gathering the necessary amount of spirit particles to create the explosion. The liquid inside a silver tube acts as the trigger. The preparations for the technique combined with the charging time for the Seele Schneiders make its use in battle impractical unless the user has a partner that can stall to buy time. The power of this technique is easily comparable to a hadou no 90 cast by shinigami.

Back Drop

Background:
Xerxes Rienhart was abducted when he was a child and raised in a hell house in Brazil; life was difficult and a challenge every single day of his life. His caretakers was small group of Quincy survivors whom taught him their ways seeing as though he was one of them. As soon as he could walk he was taught to fight; being trained by his step father every day for six hours straight. At the age of six he began to use a few sensing abilities; however as he grew older around eight he really began to take control of his powers. Because of the difference between himself and his father he didn’t really believe he was his real father so he had no idea who he was or where he came from, but he paid no heed as he loved him. His step father was the leader of this mini group thus making Xerxes heir, he was taught well and spends many years in developing and studying interesting techniques.

Xerxes was a tanned skinned kid with dark brown hair and pretty blue eyes; he pretty much resembled a younger version of Jensen Reinhart his unknown ancestor. He was also very ambitious cruel and cold hearted killing without hesitation or a thought to it till one day his step father was hurt very badly by an arrancar. Dying in front of Xerxes, he told him the truth about him; that he was abducted as a kid and that he if he hadn’t taken him, he would have been another Quincy lost. He also told him his real last name and how he needed to take charge of the rest of the other Quincy’s even though he was only thirteen. Xerxes was mad and very angry with his step father, but as he died he could not hold it against him. He took care of the Quincy’s and did his job well, gaining knowledge and intelligence all the meanwhile keeping his small group a secret for five years till one of the older Quincy’s disobeyed him.

Seeing as though he was eighteen and his member being twenty two thought he knew better. Taking off in public, he met a beautiful lady who not only betrayed him, but was also an enemy. Testing out her own experiment, she launched a bomb on the Quincy’s hideout which was locked up tightly; the Quincy’s were all trapped in one area surrounded by strange black poisonous flames which engulfed them. Xerxes watched each and everyone one of his members scream and die off slowly before losing his mind. Somehow because of his spiritual pressure, the flames did not kill him, but the poison sank through in him. Trapped beneath the rubble and the corpse of his loved one’s Xerxes was in pain from the poison. His body was in excruciating pain and was also going through a transformation causing the teens hair to go almost white as his body becomes something else. However before the transformation could take its toll; Xerxes tried killing himself, creating a massive explosion.

Spoiler:

The next thing the quincy heard was people talking; opening his eyes he saw many faces looking down at him before blacking out again. Little did he know that the coalition was nearby the area and just happen to hear the explosion thus saving his life as they took him back to New York in order for Kerensky the head of the R&D to cure his strange poison. It was a success, however the transformation was permanent leaving Xerxes’s mind in a state of shock as his body was much darker and had adds as if he was about to become some kind of beast…
