Relaxing(Ryo/Possibly open)

Gaige walked into the coalition building accompanied by Cain. His power was significant enough that she'd finally decided to bring him in and get him registered with the coalition, so they didn't come looking for him later. It was more for him really. He might decide one day he wanted to be a part of the coalition. Though she'd told him he was always welcome in the merc guild.

She walked up to reception and explained things to the lady. Who started asking annoying questions. So she asked to speak to Alistair since he was head of dangerous humans. Kai was probably busy. Her request was granted. "Come on. Alistair's gonna deal with this for us." She said. Alistair was in his office. She turned to Cain. "Don't mind the dog smell, Alistair here is a werewolf." She said with a smile. Alistair chuckled.

"Hah. i've heard that one before. Allot. So how can I help?" He asked. And Gaige explained things. "Alright i can help you with that. But It'll have to wait. Serena wants to talk with you, if thats ok?" He said. Gaige shrugged. "Sure, I've always got time for a hot robot." She said with a grin. "Ha. Anyway, I need to get an idea of this one's combat proficiency." He said. He made a quick call, and a minute later a bouncing ball of pep appeared in the room.

"Bella, take Cain into the training room and test his abilities." Alistair said. Bella saluted him. "Yes sir!" She said. The rose blonde looked at Cain and gave him a sweet smile. "Follow me! Ooooh this is gonna be so much fun!"

Following Gaige into the building, the cardboard tube on his back held his training sword in it. Gaige had told him to bring his weapons along with him everywhere they went outside of the base just because any time could be training time. They were here to register him, and while that bothered him a bit, she had explained how it was necessary. His thoughts were that they were like cattle being branded to keep track of, a bit awkward of a comparison to humans capable of blowing things apart with a mere exertion of their power, but it worked. "Dog smell huh...", it took him a moment to process the next part but the man was already laughing, "A werewolf?! Like the thing from myths and all? He was caught off guard completely and slightly worried. Gaige wouldn't let anything really happen to him here, and he was sure that if something was going to happen this man wouldn't be part of an organization to keep track of powerful humans anyways.

When the girl stepped into the room he was taken back by just how excited she was already. "Uh yeah sure." He looked back at both Gaige and Alistair a look of concern across his face as if he wasn't certain what to expect from the girl shrugging his shoulders and just following her out anyways with his pack, and the tube still on his back. "So uh... what kind of training or test is this going to be? I haven't done a whole lot yet with Gaige."

"Myth and legend, perhaps. Although certainly less violent than we're portrayed by humans." He said. "Well, most of us." Alistair said. Gaige got a chuckle out of his shock. And then Bella showed up and led him off. He looked back at Gaige, concerned. Alistair chuckled. "She got the day of training. Don't be surprised." Alistair said to him.

They walked off and Cain asked her what exactly the training or test was. She tilted her head and looked up, thinking. "Well normally Who ever is recruiting would try to beat you up and see how well you deal with it to see where you fit in here. I got put into a combat medic position because of my healing abilities. But your not being recruited... So maybe just show your general powers?" She said.

She led him to an elevator and took it down. Very far down. To the point where it became obvious that they were underground. And she did not stand still for a single second, as she seemed to bounce on her heels or mess with her hands. She even made a few funny faces at him, and fired off tiny fireworks of spiritual energy, something that took considerable control to achieve. And served only to entertain her. The door opened and she led him into a giant training Arena. "This is one of the coalitions training Arenas. " She said bouncing out.

She pointed. "That's a real forest over there! And over there is a city block. Don't ask why. I don't know how they got it down here. Or even built this place." She said, and looked at him. "Oooh wait, you came in here with that mercenary lady right? Is it true she runs a guild, whats it like? Is she a serion too, or is that just metal bits? Has she ever punched you in the chest with that arm? Did it hurt?" She barraged him with questions until she remembered what she was supposed to be doing.

"Alrighty then! So, show me what you've got. Attack me, fly, do something cool. Ooooh are your powers fire based?"

Standing in the elevator he was fidgeting about as well. Just for him it was from discomfort. He had no idea what to expect from this girl and it was starting to bother him. At least with Gaige she could stay on one topic long enough and he could keep his arms tucked in and his legs away from any odd machines. Ducking to dodge one of the spiritual fireworks he looked up at her with a concerned face but he was sure she would just shake it off with a cheery smile or another firework. "Combat medic huh? Well at least I know if I bust an artery you'll know relatively what to do and won't just start screaming." She wanted him to show off his general powers but he sat there with the sword in the tube still and his pistol on his hip. He didn't have much for powers and he wasn't certain how he'd fair against fighting another person with how far he had come, he was still having trouble with the drones after all.

As the elevator finally reached the bottom he rolled his jaw about trying to pop his ears as she pointed out the locations around. A city block would give him walls to scale and allow for him to utilize his limited control over solidifying the air into a spiritual platform, but the forest would already give him footholds and allow for him to concentrate purely on using his weapons to attack her. Mid thought he came back to her rapid firing questions at him. With a joking smile on his face, "The Mercenary lady is Gaige, and she'll give you a cool robotic hand if you give her even a finger. She made the guild out there, but she isn't a Serion, its pretty easy living out there though it's hard to tell the time of day without a watch sometimes. As for that arm of hers, she has clocked me a few times but nothing serious, only a playful touch or punishment."

He slipped the bag off his back and the cardboard tube before opening it up and sliding the training sword out. He had gotten use to the weight of the sword and could keep it around 40lbs though it bothered him completely and he had to use both hands to keep the blade upright he had built up some strength through focusing his spiritual energy into his arms to bolster and relieve some of the weight. "Sorry to disappoint but, I don't fly, and I don't do fire." He went to take a step forward, the weight shifting and he lurched forward. Ticking the weight down to 10lbs he sighed and tossed it into one hand and ran at the girl. At five feet his left foot left the ground, the air solidifying beneath it as he leapt to the left, jumped off a platform onto another to her right quickly and darted right at her with the blunt of the blade.

After the duo left, Nick was walking at a brisk pace towards his alpha's office. With the nicely dressed boy was a stuffed animal...that looked a lot like a kid friendly version of his werewolf form minus his two scars. The second he walked in, he stared at the lady with the prosthetics. He hoped he wasn't interrupting something. "I'm...not interrupting anything...am I?" The purple-grey haired werewolf waggled his eyebrows to emphasize what he was trying to get across.

If not, he held out the stuffed animal in front of his alpha. "What is this? And why does it reek of Blondie? I found it in my locker at school...how did he even get in there in the first place?" They were legit questions. And the lady with the mechanical parts was sure to get a laugh out of the puppy's expense...

Alistair was just standing up when the door opened and Nick walked in. He gave Gaige a strange look and she snorted. "As if." She said. Alistair seemed to be in the dark still so he just shrugged. Nick started explaining the wolf teddy, and Gaige tried not to laugh at the werewolf. Though it was really hard, but she managed it. Alistair shrugged. "My only guess is he picked the lock or got it in there some how, and its an attempted apology." Alistair said.

"Sounds like he might have a tensy bit of a crush on you." She said, trying to keep a straight face. Alistair gave her a warning look. "What, boys give me wolf teddies all the time. AND I know why." She said.


The boy, Cain, ran at her and bounced around a bit before shooting at her and swinging his sword. Bella stepped back a few paces and a blade materialised between her and the sword, blocking it. A second blade appear, and split into a pair of daggers, the weapons sweeping around and taking up positions on either side of her, and she fired a trio of mana bolts from each one, but cut the power of the attacks drastically. Even if they hit, the worst they would do is push him back a little and sting.

"You have no powers? But you have lots of energy. You even seem to be good at using it to jump of the air. Do you not have a spiritual tutor?" She asked him. That made sense to her however she had attended a school dedicated to training spiritually gifted students. Which was why her control was so good. She had been the top of her class, in everything but actual combat.

As the blades connected he solidified the ground beneath his feet, pushing blade against the one that had materialized to give him enough force to launch himself away from her. His eyes locked onto the second blade as it broke apart into the two daggers. His hand hovering over the holster for the Rampart as he saw the bolts coming out he watched each of the trajectories and shot one, slashed at the other and dodged the third altogether before firing off another Rampart round at Bella. "I've never had a spiritual tutor besides Gaige, and even that's rickety with her not having any spiritual powers."

In the open like they were every attack he'd make on her would be easily telegraphed, and the fact that she materialized a blade out of thin air already meant that a sneak attack could easily fail but that didn't mean it wasn't worth the shot. Turning and running towards the forest he kept his eyes on the floating daggers. He wasn't certain if she could fire them out or if more of those bolts would fly at him and he wasn't certain he wanted to figure out.

Nick sweatdropped when his alpha didn't seem to get the hint. But she did and responded in kind. Shrugging that, he paid attention to what his alpha said. And then to what Gaige said. He glared at her and growled. "Don't even joke about that! I caught him making out with a guy the other day!" And speak of the devil, Nick heard the blond's footsteps coming this way. He wasn't exactly quiet about that outburst.

"I thought someone was watching us...Anyways, don't get your undies all up in a bunch. We don't know what to get you for the holidays, so consider that your present from me. Surely that's better than some dog joke thing that I might have had up my sleeve?" Jun grinned devilishly at the smaller boy and handed Alistair a set of papers. "Something fishy is going on at a Russian harbor. The details are in there. Kai warns that it might be a remnant of Alexei, so take extra precautions." Jun promptly walked out while waving at Gaige.

Nick glared at the guy suspiciously. "What's the point in Christmas...it's just another damn day of the f*cking year..." The little werewolf muttered just loud enough for everyone to hear, and sounded more than a little sour. But then got started doing other things around the office. Some organizing, some cleaning, and even checking to see if his Alpha knew how to use the email system yet...

"Well who could blame him, you are a little cutie." Gaige said with a teasing smile. "Speaking of Jun." Alistair said, and jun walked in a few seconds later and explained the reason for the wolf. He handed a file to Alistair a file. "Well Nick, Christmas was a winter celebration in my time. The point is to show the people you care about, that you care. I think it still stands, for the most part." Alistair explained. Gaige waved back as he was leaving. "I better go find Serena, If you need a hand, drop me a call Alistair. I'll be in town for a while, I don't mind picking up a contract if need bel. I'm sure we could find someone in the guild to help, if its anything to do with Alexai.." She said. Alistair nodded. "Will do, thanks." He said. Gaige left, and Alistair looked through the file. "Well, seems like I've got a plane trip to organise." He said to nick.


"Oh. Are you sure she's not a serion? That seems very fishy. Still..." She watched him as he shot slashed and dodged her shots, then fired back. The electrical charge hit her shield and harmlessly dispersed. Then he turned and ran towards the forest, and she started to levitate and follow him. When he stopped she spoke. "My powers are all manifestations of my spiritual control. We might have been similar once, but i had a very good tutor." She said, and fired a bolt of lightning at him. it had the power of a cero and speed of a bala, though she cut the power down a good deal to avoid blowing him up with it.

"If you wan't, maybe I could tutor you?" She said, as she levitated just above the ground, waiting to see how he'd proceed.

Running across the ground, scrambling to get into the woods to optimize his chances he heard her mention she had a good tutor. "Gaige is a pretty good tutor to be honest. She isn't the only one in the guild training me either." As he finished his sentence he felt the hairs on his neck stand with electricity before his feet gave out under him. Spit and a bit of blood shot out in front of him on the ground as his chin, chest, and knees slid about a foot before his entire body came to a stop. The bolt of lightning had knocked him clean off his feet and into the ground with a good deal of force. Coughing and picking himself up off the ground he put a hand up to his chest, holding the pistol as well as he could underneath it he held his finger on the trigger charging up a shot before turning up towards the girl. "Ya sure you can tutor me to, isn't wrong to learn from everyone." As he started the sentence he had fired off the charged shot, a cartridge popping out of the bottom of the rampart as he slipped it back into it's holster.

Turning and sprinting under the canopy of the forest he got himself up into the tree's and hid among the branches as best as he could. He still didn't fully grasp how easy it was for someone to sense spiritual pressure since the most he understood about it was the powers, and the ability to solidify air beneath ones self.

Nick was always bitter about the holidays, given his past. He shrugged and went on. He'd never admit it, but he did actually sorta liked the stuffed animal. The very light blush on his face would tell the tale though. He looked over his alpha's shoulder about the report. "A submarine? Just what kind of resources did or still does this guy have?" It seemed very unbelievable. "Yeah...you know how to do that online?" Being the old fart that his Alpha was, there were still some things he had trouble doing. It still struck him as funny sometimes.
