Strolling gleefully through downtown San Diego, Albatross laughed as a child through the narrow sidewalks and dirty alleyways of the Californian city. The powerful sinner rejoicing as it embarked across the human world. It had been so long, so quiet, since it had visited the world of the humans. It was almost frightening to see the changes of the world itself. So many things different. The short eight year old girl, with the dark corrupted heart of Albatross, kept her pace however, as the being wanted to know more, for it had long been in Hell, where it belonged. For safety, Albatross let its energy stay hidden, but on the outside Alba engrossed itself in the culture of humans in which it knew so well. Stopping at a few street performers plying their trade, Alba laughed as it watched the performers apply their tricks and art of deception using cards and magic.
Though, it soon grew bored of the display, as it saw no new tricks. Alba hungered for more knowledge, more information, and to possess such Alba would need more souls. Continuing to walk around Alba stopped at a reflective window of a shop. The amalgamation of souls appreciating its lovely form, for it had: curly blonde locks which it curled itself, a button nose, and bright blue eyes, with a small olive tinge across the skin. It was a new soul it had devoured a few years ago, one that it had not put to any use since there were so many souls to choose from. Smiling one last big grin in the window Alba ran off like a child in a candy store, its mind made up as to what it wanted to do. It wanted to find and observe new souls which it could devour and gain.
But first, Albatross needed to find the right distraction to sift the humans through, as Alba only wanted the best and brightest to eat. Seeing that there was construction around the area. It moved closer to the construction site, as workers made new sidewalks and fixed the street around a recently destroyed building. This is when Alba met its new toy: a bulldozer. Sneaking as best as it could, it wandered around the construction like any other pedestrian, and once it had crossed the end of the construction the being took a hard turn into the construction site where few workers were. Drawing as little attention as possible, Alba ran to the back of the bulldozer, which was locked and unoccupied, there were workers in front of it though.
Kicking the bulldozer hard Albatross listened to the sweet elegant sound of the metal shrieking across dirt and pavement as it flew forward with great power smashing into the cement truck laying sidewalk cement, and thus into the workers. Splinters of metal and sparks flew to and fro, as people began screaming and shouting. Giggling horrendously in its head, Alba ran to the excitement as it waited for some one interesting to appear, a soul worth eating, a soul worth joining, or even a soul worth learning from. Watching the crowd with its devious eyes, Albatross watched with great experience what different humans did, as there laid dead bodies and injured men and women all about.
