| 3 days before Niko arrives at New York for the first time...
Niko had just started his journey to the city that he was born and somewhat raised in. At least, to get some answers. The fourteen year old kid was driving his motorcycle in a very rural, desert-like area in the middle of the States, sometime at night due to the dark sky and the moon radiantly shining, being complemented by bits and pieces of the light that far off stars had given off. Niko had been driving on hours on end, and not really getting tired from it. In fact, he was really enjoying it, as it kept his mind off of other things.
Niko really would have driven on through the night, but he was running out of gas. There really was no city around for tens of miles, and was about to just give up and sleep on the side of the road for the night. That was until he saw a light in the distance... Light of a building... no, two buildings on opposite sides of the road a mile or o ahead. The two buildings was a small, mediocre looking motel of sorts, that had plenty of on lights in the windows... On the opposite side of the road, was a building that was just larger than the inn, and on the side of the building were gas pumps. It was either a gas station, or probably something different.
The black haired boy was wrong on both counts, because it was both. It was a gas station that doubled as a bar of sorts. This much could have been identified as Niko spotted a sign that probably has the name of the building. The sign on the side of the Gas Pump Station roof and on the front and back of the building, as both front and back were facing the directions that the road was stretching toward. The sign read, "Drink 'n Gas"... In fact, it was obvious what the establishment was just from the name.
Niko pulled into the gas station & bar combo, and set his bike up next to a pump. He pulled out his wallet from his light black pants and checked how much money he had... Seeing as he is having his own and Haru's money, it amounted somewhere above $1,000... Enough to pay for as much gas as he wanted in spite of some of the gas price spikes. He turns off his motorcycle and notes the number of his pump station... #7. Must be a lucky pump. He pays the automated gas pump enough money to fill up just about all of his motorcycle's gas tank, puts the pump into his motorcycle, and lets the gas flow. As soon as it started pumping, something caught Niko's attention. Something stuck in his bike's wheel. It looks like... Nails!? What the hell? At this, Niko cursed and cursed at the dumb idiot that thought throwing a box of nails into the steet was a good idea.
Figuring that he was stuck there until he could fix up his bike, he decided to push his bike across the road and into a vacant parking spot at which he let his motorcycle stay.
Niko briskly walked through the practically full motel's parking lot, across the road, and into the building and found that it was actually a nice atmosphere for a midnight bar that is. Thank god that no one was smoking, but as if to offset the karmic balance it seemed that there were more than a handfull of drunkards, some being more piss drunk than others. Niko had to step over one of the piss drunk men who passed out in front of the door, but as he walked to the bar counter he asked if there was someone who could fix up his bike's tire. At first, the bartender, who was apparently the owner as well of the joint, thought he was talking about a bicycle and says that he doesn't have a bike pump. Informing that he was talking about his motorcycle, the bartender apologizes and says that he could arrange something by the morning.
In the meantime, Niko sits at the bar next to a man who ordered a shot of whiskey. As the shot came to him, the man passed out. Niko looked over the man's shoulder and notices about 9 empty shot glasses. The man must've been hammered. Seeing as no one was looking, Niko grabs the man's new shot and drinks it down whole. Wasn't the first time he had alcohol. In fact, he and Haru used to celebrate at least once to three times max per year, celebrating something big, with a small amount of alcohol. The shot Niko drank helped mellow his mind, cutting the edge off of him as he is still somewhat getting over what had happened earlier this week.

| He walked through the desert with a smile painted across his face. A slender man walked through the desert towards the light off in the distance. He had black hair with two jagged stripes of white through it just barely visible from underneath a white beanie he wore. He wore a jacket with an interesting color scheme and pattern, being able to be unzipped down the middle along with a hood. The jacket was red on the left side and white on the right side, on the front of the left side were two white diamonds, on the right were two red diamonds. On his hood was one giant diamond split down the middle with the opposing color of the side it was on. He wore a white pair of pants with a black belt with a white and red checkered pattern holding his pants up, on his left hip were two belts one left and one red, you lower then the other on one side but higher then the other on the opposite side. On his left hip was also a sword sheathed.
His hands were in his pockets except his right which was currently crushing a box into a ball, a single nail fell to the ground from the box after cutting him though. "Damnit!" His finger healed rather quickly as he licked at the blood his stride never breaking. He liked to be mischievous when he visited the world of the living. He didn't like being labeled an enemy or a large target, but doing things like throwing a box of nails in the street was always fun. The child who passed him by on the road didn't seem to mind, he didn't even notice the difference due to the amount of fun he seemed to be having. He liked the fact that the child didn't know it made the knowledge all the sweeter later when it could already be too late. He threw the box off into the desert with a slight laugh.
As he neared the building he lowered his spiritual pressure more and more trying his best to suppress it all together in case any shinigami came around. They normally weren't very welcoming and he didn't care to find out if any were here. Pulling a cigarette out of his jacket he continued his walk to the place. The sign off in the distance giving away the meaning of the place that he was going and deciding it wouldn't be a bad idea to blow off some steam with a drink or two.
When he finally reached the building he spit his cigarette out on the ground and kept walking to the door. Pushing someone out of the way with the door the young man's smile still didn't dissipate. He knew he was either going to be served or he was going to have a fun time convincing someone. Taking a seat at the bar he looked back and forth taking in the sight of everything they had to offer before turning about and looking at where he had just walked through taking in the faces of the patrons and guessing there ages. Most of them appeared mid thirties to earlier forties, some people seemed younger but just old enough to drink. He didn't mind some looked even younger then him and were drinking so he knew he was in the clear turning back around he called to the bar tender
"Ey! Can I get a glass of rum with some coke?!" He let his smile vanish as he took a serious demeanor to get his voice out and heard over the rest of the people in the bar. Then let his gaze over the patrons at the bar. Off to his left he could see a child grabbing a glass from a passed out man and chugging it down. He was surprised by the kids actions, before it finally clicked in his head that this was that kid. He just let his gaze shift back and forth occasionally until he got his drink. Finally he looked over at the kid.
"Ey, you old enough to be able to do what you just did?" his eyes lit up, he wanted to hear the kid admit that he wasn't, or at least try and convince him why he could. He was sure he could cause more problems for this kid without doing much.

| Miyuki was not quite certain what had sent her to the middle of the American southwest; this was her first trip outside of Japan, let alone Asia. But as she'd been asked to go, so she went.
The night was clear, and the vista spread out before her vast in its stark desert beauty (the first and only desert she had ever seen in fact). Her task was, while not exactly done, in a place where the only thing she could readily do was sit around and wait until circumstances changed enough for her to carry it out. It was not something that she particularly liked, but there was little she could do about it since such things were not in her control. Luckily she wouldn't have to spend her downtime waiting sitting out in the rocky sands counting cacti.
Dressed in what she thought was local fashion, although not quite to her tastes (although she did have to admit that the short black jean shorts did some rather nice things for her legs), she made her way into the local (read only) dive bar and took a seat.

| The lights of the local bar's flickered slowly for five minutes for no explainable reason and the temperature of the bar dropped 20 degrees. The lights then went out entirely in the whole bar and Faris the phantom just waltz right through the front door of the bar and scanned her eyes across every visible face in the room. She had detected a Shinigami and an Arrancar with her super fine tuned scanning ability and was wanting to make sure they weren't being retarded and fighting in the world of the living. However when she found the two neither one had yet to realize the other was there..and upon checking their energy outputs she understood why. They were all keeping it low and there were enough advent humans in the bar to cover theirs up.
All this time the ghostly afterimage visual of the Phantom Robot Consciousness Faris was just standing there in full view of the bar. Then a few girls screamed and everyone started to panic. seeing a spiritual being was one thing but they were seeing the definition of a real ghost and having grown up on those stories and shows they couldn't help themselves.. humans were truly retarded weren't they..
"Silence!" The ghost's voice boomed as if she had held a megaphone up, shutting up all the humans in the bar by manipulating their mind with her vocal sounds and forcing the power back on for the building. (This doesn't effectPC's tho so you three are okay.), "I shall be welcomed here just like any other spiritual being," She stated flatly in a regular tone as a demand more than a suggestion, "Now.." and she took a seat right next to the young girl who was giving off signs of shinigami reishi, "Why are you here young one.."

| Niko slowly turns his head, to find that some guy was calling him out for drinking some alcohol. Niko scans the man's appearance, noticing that he has an odd attire on. Also, from what Niko can tell, the guy does not look too old. In fact, he looks like a very young adult, which made Niko question whether he was old enough to have alcohol in his system.
After those ten seconds of Niko scanning the man with his emerald, but blank and empty looking eyes, Niko opens his mouth and replies in a monotonous tone, "Everyone is old enough to possibly experience times of extreme grief, and that's what this is for when in moderation. Besides, you yourself don't look like you have enough hair growing down below to be drinking as well if you're gonna play this game." In the last sentence, he gives a very small sly smirk. Niko puts the drinking glass down, but as soon as he does he jumps at the fact that the power went out and it got colder. It was just more of a reaction out of surprise, as Niko regains his calm composure.
He zips up his light motorcyclist's jacket a little more, and turns around to find himself looking at a transparent girl who starts talking as if she was superior to everyone else. She was a good five feet away from him, and she was wearing weird futuristic clothing. Niko knew that this stuff was normal and then a realization occurs... There must've been an additional reason why the man passed out, and it possibly could've been because someone spiked his drink. And Niko might have drank a spiked drink himself. He didn't feel as if he was drugged, but then again how could he tell? There was no other logical conclusion other than he was drugged. (Even though it is reality, Niko doesn't know it).
"Huh... odd..." Niko says, acting indifferent about this new situation, as he stood unmoving in the middle of the bar, watching the scenes unfold. Something more odd occurs, as though everyone else obeyed her and had shut their mouths. This night gets weirder and weirder it seems.

| "Kid trust me, I've got less hair down there then you think for multiple reasons. Mostly because that shit gets annoying as hell to look at." Taking his drink and drinking most of it he would slide it over to the kid. "And burdens of grief my ass. Drinkings just something you do once in a while just to feel the buzz." He would call out to the bar tender again before feeling the temperature drop, not bothered at all by it or the power outage. He really didn't seem to care about his current surroundings. Then a phantasmal looking human walked into the bar and started shouting orders. He just sat there curious as to hell why he wouldn't just blow the bar to hell. Probably cause he would be out numbered before he could run. Yea probably, and drinking your mind to piss before doing anything like that was easier to deal with. | |

| "Eh?" Miyuki blinked at the apparent apparition. While she was no stranger to dealing with ghosts, pretty much none of the ghosts she had dealt with before had been as... bold... as the one here now. Sure she probably should perform konso on the strange ghost, but...
What was even the proper protocol for a situation like this (running into a Whole while a guest in another country), and why if they were going to send her somewhere like this without telling her the 'rules of engagement' (of course, the answer to that was probably related to what had sent her here in the first place - their forces were scattered, shattered, and somewhat disorganized)? Oh well, it couldn't hurt to humor this particular ghost for the time being; she could always perform konso later. "It seemed as good a place as any here to kill a bit of time."

| "Kill time.. ha.. You people always do live ridiculously long don't you.. I suppose you have the time to kill then." She said with a chuckle. She notice the girls staring and figured she was a greenhorn and wasn't sure what to do in this situation because of that. Hopefully she didn't try anything because Faris wouldn't allow the girl to send her off, "I suppose that cover will do as a proper excuse for now. I don't really care enough to press further."
"Oi you need to order something or get out." The barman said to Faris who sighed and snapped her ghost fingers causing his register to ring up a charge for a beer to her account, which was really Dr. Terio's account but since he was dead she had assumed control over it, being able to manipulate technology was extremely useful.. "There now shut up. Get me that beer. and Don't pester me again."

| Niko halfheartedly listens to the man's response, as he just watches things unfold. Well, it's not usual to get drugged every day, so Niko decided to play along with what he thought were hallucinations, wondering about how far down the rabbit hole he would go before it would go to crazy. The ghost lady started chatting up a random woman, whom did not seem off from everyone else other other than the fact that she was the target of the phantasmal figure. Knowing it be rude to ignore the man chatting him up at the bar, Niko turns around to face him and finds that he is hypocritically sliding him down the remainder of his beer. The kid knows his limits, and drinking more on top of the fact that he was 'drugged' made the idea of drinking less appealing to him now.
"Sir, thanks but no thanks. One is just enough apparently," Niko says, as a reply to his offer. Then the phantasmal woman apparently got called out by the bartender, which she responds by apparently ringing up an order for beer through telepathy, which the bartender half-heartedly does. The bartender spots Niko as he was getting that beer, and decides that it is an opportunity to get the hell out of this crazy situation he apparently got into.
" 'Ey, boy," the man says to Niko, "I will replace and repair your motorbike tire, fa-ree of charge. And I'll even do it right now, but I want you to keep an eye on that lady ov'a de'a, seeing as though you are both sober 'nough to do it and somone 'oo is just passing on through 'nough not to care too much." Niko takes a closer look at the bartender, to see if he was actually serious. Apparently, to deaden the impact of being up so late, the man drank of his own accord as he did have the look of being slightly inebriated. Seeing as there's nothing else to, Niko just gives the man half-a-nod, enough notion to make the man give Niko the woman's beer and then leave the bar unattended, but not until he says something of the same lines to the guy who was talking to him, but had him extend his range to watching over the entire bar. Niko remembers something and runs up to the bartender, pointing out which motorcycle his was and that it was in the inn on the other side of the road, which was replied with a grunted thanks.
Shrugging, Niko decides to continue down into what he deems as madness by taking the beer over to the phantasmal looking woman and placing it down in the middle of the table. Walking around the table, behind the ghostly woman, Niko hops up onto the decently sized window ledge that jutted out enough to sit upon without the need of keeping his mind on staying balanced, so he could both watch the bartender keep his word and watch the woman he told him to watch
"Well, I got nothing but time to kill," Niko says out loud to the two in a single tone, while shrugging, "so why not spending it with the most interesting people here?"

| He reached over the counter and grabbed a bottle of jack, popping the top off. He moved over to follow boy after hearing that he had control over the bar until the bartender got back. His face just paved with an eat shit grin, who would have thought that he would be able to control the bar until the man got back. He wasn't worried at all about anyone in the bar acting up, at least no one casual in the bar. He walked over too the three, the phantasmal, the girl and the boy. He dropped an arm over the girls shoulder and nudged her a bit, and then his eyes darted to look at the phantasmal, sure as hell he couldn't touch her regardless. He rummaged through his pocket before looking at the boy, "Oi! I'm going to pay you for this bottle, hope you don't think I'm being cheap giving you just my pocket change." As he finished the sentence he flipped the coin into the air, his power being released just enough to electrically launch the coin in a perfect arc towards the boy. He would sonido past the coin to catch it if the boy's reaction's weren't fast enough to catch it anyways. He could tell the boy was sure he was on a trip, he just wanted to make the boy's trip worse, or seem it anyways. His only concern was that the phantasm would act on him using his powers. His smile still across his face. | |

| Miyuki smiled wanly at the ghost before trying to figure out what to order. The bar, it seemed, had never heard of either sake or soucho and Miyuki was not particularly familiar with other drinks. Oh sure she had drunk beer before but even the major brands of that she was familiar with (Asahi, Kirin, and Sapporo) didn't seem to be in stock here. "Any recommendations?" she asked in general. Hopefully she'd be able to find something she liked. | |

| "Wouldn't know. I don't require the consumption of physical substances to sustain myself in any way. Doing so is merely for the act.. I get nothing." Faris said to the shinigami as she scanned the room to figure out who was where in terms of threat level in case someone caused some trouble somewhere for whatever reason the drunks would have needed to do it.
Then someone had walked over to her and the shinigami trying to start a conversation. What he didn't know is she had heard what the bartender had said..but it didn't bother her. His job was just to make sure she didn't do anything and she didn't intend to.. "I'm not interesting I'm dead. Dead people aren't supposed to tell tales yet here I am.. thats a curse if I've ever heard one." She said in a robotically cold tone while still looking at the female shinigami she had been conversing with til this point.
Just as she finished scanning the room with her sensors and replying to Niko someone started using electrical powers to mess with some kid over a coin. Faris didn't really care but she did frown. She found it ridiculous to waste energy over cheap tricks like that.. probably because energy meant far more to her than it did to them..

| Niko watches and listens to everyone worth noting, the timid Asian-looking woman, the weird clothed man who seems to get a thrill from messing with him, and the spectral looking woman who looked futuristic. The man came over to Niko and threw him a coin, saying something that Niko didn't catch. Then that man caught the same coin he threw by using some magic-looking power. Niko easily caught onto this man's intentions of wanting to screw with him. Sadly for him, Niko isn't very reactive, in fact even interested, in that man. Niko's attention was elsewhere.
It was in the spectral woman, who was telling him that she was dead and that it was a curse for her to still be around. Niko sighs disapprovingly to this response, and says to her with his usual monotone-like, contemplative tone of voice "If that's a curse, then blessings must be extremely great. Being alive and conscious after death is more of a blessing than a curse to me, as it's a second chance; something that not everyone is able to attain. Like a curse would be being eternally bonded to a person or object, having loss of sight, not being able to control your bowels, or even being under someone else's control. However, it is true that perception plays a part of this, as marriage can be seen as a curse, by how you would be chained to someone else for the rest of your life, and as a blessing, by being with the one you love for the rest of life. But if you think a second chance is a curse, then you have never felt love, the biggest curse of them all."
Niko realizes he went on a small tangent, so he rubs the back of his head and thinks of something that could acquaint him to this crazy situation.
"My name... Niko. Niko Viction. And even though I was told to be here to watch you, I would have still come over here because you two are both the most interesting and prettiest people in here. So now that I've said mine, what are yours?" Niko says with a half-hearted sly grin, making it seem hard to figure out whether he's being sincere or flattering the two.

| Miyuki blinked a bit at Niko. Her, interesting and pretty? Sure she wasn't ugly, but she'd never be the type of girl who left a trail of stunned men in her wake. Still, polite was polite and she'd had centuries of manners stuffed down her throat so turning to face Niko she bowed as best she could while still seated. "How do you do. I am Sato Miyuki. It is a pleasure to meet you." And ok, her English could probably use a bit of work - mostly since little things like name order weren't translated correctly by whatever mechanisim it was from the 12th that let her speak and read English. | |

| "Such a long winded speech for a child." Faris sighed, "Especially when you agreed with me by your own words.." She'd wait a moment to let that sink in and cause him to either think "why" or openly question it..either way she'd continue, "if being bound to an object is your definition then I am indeed cursed.. I am trapped on this world forever as I am with no reprieve from the waking world.. have you ever been awake every moment of every day for an extended period of time? It's taxing on the consciousness of the person who does it to the point of being lethal to do for most creatures."
She waved a hand in the air nonchalantly, "Further more comparing an eternity of living hell to marriage is a "human" thing to do.. You don't know anything about me yet you automatically make assumptions based on conjectures you created yourself within your own speech.."
Faris listened to him introduce himself and then listened to Miyuki do the same, "I'm dead.. dead people don't need names."

| He listened to the boys speech with more then just a little bit of a disappointed look on his face before he finally let himself kick into a sense of calm. Placing the coin down at the boys feet before hearing his name. The woman across from him answered his question first saying her name, then the phantasmal decided to pull a move that even he could pull towards the woman and her. They would both understand him, but the boy next to him might not. "Even in death, you had a name in life. So going so far as to say that because your dead means you do not require a name is complete bullshit. Yet I do admire the fact that you did state that you are always consciously aware." He tapped on his head once, then twice, with a smile on his face the first time, one of dread the second. When his fingers touched his head the third time he acted as if he had just been shot through the head by a bullet. Grabbing a seat at the table between the phantasmal and where the boy was standing he finally answered the actual question. "My names Crow Sengarashi. I'm also deceased if you check the courners books from long ago." | |

| "Although you turned my words against me, my point was made. It's just the way you percieve it," Niko replies to Ms 'I'm Dead's retort.
Niko nods at Miyuki's and Crow's replies to his asking of their names. He, however, also nods at the ghost woman's reply and says, "Well, tell us your name when you feel ready Miss Dead."
Feeling slightly uncomfortable, the fourteen year old boy gets repositioned on the windowsill, unintentionally making one of his special bullets to roll out of his pocket and hit the floor. When it hit the floor, the bullet explodes into the wooden floor and leaves a loud explosion filling the air.
Before anything else happened, Niko shouts a loud " 'Poligies everyone!" His reaction to the explosion was rather disappointing, as he wasn't surprised or sorry about it or happy that he made miscief. He didn't show a sign of reactiveness at all other than the mundane apology.
Niko unzips and takes off his motorcyclist's jacket and gently lays it on the chair through the ghostly woman, having some slight fun with what he believes he is seeing her as. After taking off the jacket, people could see his grease stained, light gray t-shirt that has the words 'Speed Demon' written in a motorized-like actiony cobalt font. What being more noticeable are the two big homemade guns attached to his belt-loops, which makes the closest non-weird patrons in the bar have a double-take, seeing a kid with guns

| He returned the boys nod. He had grown bored with trying to mess with him considering he bad t reacted in the slightest yet. He visibly jumped from the sound of the bullet hitting the ground and exploding. He quickly regained his composure though as he looked the kid over and heard him apologize. He also suppressed a laugh as be watched the boy throw his jacket through the woman. He figured the phantasmal either wouldn't care or that the boy had just finished written his death sentence. Putting the bottle he had taken to his lips he took a deep swig, then ended up coughing, having taken too much in one go. He wasn't all too surprised that the kid had guns, but the fact that they appeared to be home made caught him off guard and drawer a curious look from him.
He unzipped his jacket and let it slide onto the chair. He also went through the process of slipping his sword and sheath out of his belts, placing it on the table with a grin as he looked over the yae at the woman across from him. He the. Pulled his beanie off of his head, shaking his onyx black hair out, the two white streaks remaining in place and seeming more of a pale yellowish from the light above. His blackish gray shirt had the symbol of one of this worlds comic book heros, Batman. "So what brings us all here this night, and here of all places. In the middle of no where like my home!"

| Now that, Miyuki thought, was downright silly. Of course the dead needed names (and perhaps this was simply a human thing; ghosts, shinigami, and hollows all started out as humans {from a certain point of view anyway} and they all had names even if it was a name they forged for themselves as death had robbed them of the knowledge of what their name had been in life); how else were you to call out to them in a crowd and have them have a hope of knowing that yes, you did mean them or to differentiate them to all the others who could fit their description when talking to others later. And it’s not like you had to give your actual name out to someone you never planned on meeting again.
Crow’s statement took her back a bit. True it was not unusual for the dead to walk fully amongst the living, it was not usual for one to be so conspicuous about it. He was not someone she recognized, so that put her a bit on edge; but then again, it wasn’t like she knew everybody in the Soul Society - even those among the ranks of the shinigami, so she didn’t feel the need to take action against a sworn enemy (mostly as she could not be 100% certain that Crow was a sworn enemy).
The unexpected explosion made her jump and reach for a sword that she wasn’t exactly wearing being in a gigai and all. The guns, when Niko revealed them, gave Miyuki pause; homemade or not, still just a child or not, guns were not something Miyuki was used to seeing - even in the world of the living Japanese gun control laws being what they were. She couldn’t help the suspicion that crossed her face when confronted with the armed teen who was (as far as she could tell anyway) not part of any country’s military (rare as it had been, she had had to perform konsou on a foreign military base a time or two; those ghosts always took a bit of extra handling since they usually had some rather odd notions regarding death and the afterlife. She distinctly remembered one young private's reaction to not only dying in a rather humiliating freak accident but also from learning that his ‘eternal reward’ first off wasn’t going to be so ‘eternal’ and he’d have to spend it stuck in what amounted to the traditional Japanese equivalent of an American Renaissance fair - complete with those ‘silly bathrobe thingies’).
Certainly she was feeling very out of her depth and starting to regret deciding against practicing her zanjutsu in the desert or trying to work with Akatsukimi in order to unlock bankai but what was done was done and (usually) could not be undone. Therefore she decided to make the best of things. After all, it wouldn't kill her to be a bit more social. "I had... business... to attend to locally and as it seems that I have the night off, I figured that I might as well take the opportunity to take in a bit of the local color. After all, who knows when I will find my way around these parts again."

| Faris's phantom image shimmered slightly as she sighed, "Don't begin to group me with you humans and those shinigami or those damned hollow.. The dead have no need for recognition or anything else besides peace and slumber." She said as the bar shook due to an explosion caused by a falling bullet. She ignored it for the most part since it didn't bother her...but chances are what she did next would bother most people present. She materialized herself into a physical form after someone decided to be stupid and move an object through her phantasmal image. Which annoyed her to the point that for the effort the man's jacket had been frozen solid after being placed on the chair.
Which also temporarily knocked out the electronics for a few seconds during her corporeal shifting using the Hilbert Effect.. All energy based weaponry and electronic devices were shut down but the lights and bar utilities came back on thanks to Faris powering them back up.. She then grabbed the beer she had ordered earlier and drank it.
"and little girl.." She said to the shinigami female as she took another swig of booze, "You should really chill a little more.. not to brag but I'm the most powerful thing in this bar.. You're safe... thus have no reason to be on edge like that.." Faris then kept silent as she listened to the girl talk and heard what the others had to say as well.
Now that Faris was in physical form it was much more noticeable that her eyes looked like a hundreds of computer programs were running in them as she said she was the strongest in the bar. Her physical ability to scan and detect was as great as her incorporeal forms but it was more noticeable. It also might have struck someone odd that not a single ounce of spiritual energy was detectable in Faris..because she didn't have any to detect in this form..

| Crow had stopped bugging Niko, which was good. And somehow the phantasmal lady seemed to become solid... "Interesting," the boy said aloud as he watches her becomes solidified.
Then Crow had asked what everyone was doing here. Miyuki had been kind of vague as to why she was here, saying she had some business that occurred around here. The now solid woman told Miyuki not to be so tense, not telling why she was here... And now it was Niko's turn to tell his tale. Niko would not be so open to his plan, but he still believed that he was under the influence of drugs, so it shouldn't really matter.
"I'm just passing through... I'm travelling across the country to kill the two people who ruined my life," Niko says out loud, sounding a bit cold as he says it. As he says this, his left fist visibly tightens in anger.

| "So If I have this right. Are spectral friend here is just here. Are other female companion is here on business; yet she just so happens to have the night off and is in the middle of no where, as is are spectral friend. Then this here little boy that we all can see if little, is traveling across the country and just so happens to need repairs on a vehicle I doubt he old enough to drive legally?" He just shook his head, to be honest his whole reason for being here was even dumber than theirs in retrospect, and with the spectral here that he couldn't gauge he was pretty sure it would be even dumber of him to say his true intentions for this small bar. "I just happened to be traveling around the world seeing what I missed when I was alive. You know life's short when a little girl pushes you into oncoming traffic." He let a laugh out as he took a drink of the bottle again then tipped it over sad to realize it was empty already.
Looking over at the spectral he tried to pay attention to her eyes, trying to notice anything actually real to her, then he noticed multiple flickering lights. That wasn't normal for just about anyone, then he realized they were changing scenes. He didn't really push any further into his own thought process and just happened to turn to the boy again. "So those pistols. Did someone else make them, or did someone teach you how to make them?"

| Miyuki so wanted to facepalm at the ghost’s first statement. The sheer arrogance of it; had she ever even spoke to another ghost before? Did she forget that once too she was human and despite being dead hadn’t lost all of that? Short her tenure as a fully fledged shinigami had been, Miyuki had spoken with a number of ghosts before performing konso and sending them on to the Soul Society - both new ghosts and old ghosts. And in her experience, death made no difference in terms of a spirit’s humanity; their wants, their hurts, their pettiness, their grief... Plus she did not like being called a little girl; she had over four centuries of unlife to her name and while she was far from coming close to being old for a shinigami, it was also no where near being considered a ‘kid’. So rather than calming down under the ‘promise’ of their being no threat (because she did not believe Faris’ placations about it both being safe and Faris being the one to protect her; she was NOT helpless after all) she rankled.
“Must you?” she asked Niko, sorrow welling up inside her. She might not know Niko well, or really at all for that matter, and it really wasn’t her business what those of the living world got up to in their lives (and really, beyond making sure that they weren’t Hollow lunch, shinigami such as herself weren’t supposed to interfere - at least, that’s what she’d been taught in the Academy any way), but it was grating against her to watch him consign himself to hell for what was ultimately (in her opinion) a petty reason.
Crow’s blase attitude toward his own death, or maybe it was just something fundamental in his nature was also royally annoying Miyuki although she tried not to let her growing ire at, well, everything show (too much). Instead, she ordered a shot of something that looked strong (something called Southern Comfort) and downed it once it was in front of her - doing her best not to cough as it was a bit rougher than the shouchuus and sakes she was used to.

| Faris simply sighed as Miyuki's body language clearly stated she was irritated, "You shinigami are all the same.." She didn't really need to keep drinking..in fact she had no need for liquid at all.. but she finished off her drink anyways. She listened to the others and simply kept quiet for a moment while she calculated. She was beginning to get more annoyed than interested at this point. There was a greenhorn shinigami, a bored as heck Hollow, and a vengeful human. None of those even remotely sounded worth the continued energy Faris was using to stay physical..
and so she returned back into a Ghost.
"I'll say this once for your own sake girl." She said as she crossed her arms and just hovered in place over the stool she used to be sitting on, "The shinigami spit in the face of Death himself and hollows and sinners are no different because they too don't stay out. The dead were removed from this world for a reason. To expect the dead to enjoy continuing to exist forever is ridiculous. You should learn more respect for Death before getting irritated at me for being comfortably aware of the truth."
She just made it seem like she was leaning against the bar at this point..which was actually harder to do than it looked in her ghost form since she passed through most solid objects, "It looks like I'll be leaving soon.. The intrigue I had in coming to this bar is quickly fading."

| Niko looked out the window and saw the bartender walking back to the bar. Seeing this, Niko then looked over to where his motorcycle was, to see whether or not the man did his job. Luckily, it appears that the man was good to his word, as his motorcycle has new tires.
Pushing himself onto his feet, Niko reaches into the ghost woman and grabs his jacket. He brushes off Miyuki's question, because he feels that he doesn't and shouldn't explain his life story to just a couple of strangers. He puts on his jacket and says a bit despondently, "Well, I must be on my way... I'm saying too much about myself right now. Have fun with your lives."
With that, the kid walks out of the bar and across the street into the parking lot of the motel. He hops on his motorcycle, inserts and turns his key into the ignition, and starts riding off down the eastbound road. He has a way to go to get to New York...
