Shirasu vs Ryokoshky.

Off from a mostly dead highway lay a town. The town was nothing impressive, and the area was far too barren for the town to be for any agricultural use. Yet it was just far enough that the people had to rely on outside commerce to survive. The desert had even had all of the surrounding cactus removed, the city having put them to use in different ways. The highway was busy during the day but as night neared fewer and fewer people would come by. An urban legend supposedly drew people away from coming to the town during the night, people being spirited away by something from the desert.

The young man patrolled the small town, it's size wasn't anything overly impressive, which made it much easier for him to keep an eye over it. He had received reports of disturbances near this town, even some within it, even the citizen's claimed it was a myth. Now it was all just up to him to wait and see what would happen. He shunpo'd down from his perch and began to investigate through out the town his only good eye darting back and forth quickly examining anything and everything it saw before he shunpo'd back up onto a perch and began looking out again. He didn't want to be out here, but he couldn't be bothered finding someone else to do the job. It was about to become easier for him to watch though, considering the sun was going down and the citizen's were beginning to head to bed for curfew. He ran his hand through his short white hair, as he let his lips spread and utter the silent words, "What a pain..."

Shirasu watched the same town from out in the desert, one eye glowing brightly as he did so. He had also heard of the recent disturbances and had come to the small town to see if perhaps it was some stray hollow, or perhaps something bigger.....maybe fuzzier. Shirasu did love furry creatures after all, especially dissecting them, putting them back together, and then ressurecting them. It was always such fun, and the animals temperment was usually much better afterwards.....usually.

He smirked some as he sensed the shinigami in the town, checking to make certain his seal was in place, whch would surpress and help hide his own power before he would make his way towards the town.

After a fifteen minute walk he was inside the town, standing silently on top of a lamp post before, with another smirk, he let loose a flash of his spiritual pressure, a perfect signal, and perfect bait, to anyone or anything in the area that could sense such things. Afterwards he again cloed off his power and waited, his arms crossed, cloak and hair blowing in the wind as he silently waited to see who would approach first, the possible creature, or the shinigami.

He had just begun to fall asleep when he felt the sudden burst of spiritual energy. He straightened himself opened his cloudy eye once and let himself fall forward, he knew it was either wake up or flop. As he neared the ground he flickered and was standing on his feet calmly stretching as he began to walk in the direction trying to get the sleep out of his eye. He knew he would have to be awake if he actually got into a fight, letting his spiritual pressure leak once to try his best to match the amount from what the other being had given off. He rolled his shoulders once then stopped kicking a single leg out in front of him as if he was aiming for someones chest before pivoting feet and kicking with the other. As his foot began to touch the ground he shunpo'd closer, close enough that he was within earshot of the thing.

He sat there rolling his shoulders still before actually acknowledging the person, "So I'm guessing your the cause of the disappearances, and from the spiritual energy your not a shinigami, more hollow than anything. So I'm only going to say this one, you have no real business here with humans, stay away from them...You may regret not listening to this warning." His hand rested limply upon his zanpakuto and he almost didn't want the man to listen to him, it would allow him to wake up. He'd also get the time to analyze someone that wasn't a shinigami, a rare occurrence, who knows, the notes might help him later on. "So with that warning what is your choice!" He would lift his sheathed zanpakuto and point it at the person as he yelled. His suit's jacket stretching almost to it's limit as he did this.

Shirasu smirked at the mans words, and lazily lolled his head to the left and back some to peer at the man with his glowing, red eye, his arms still crossed, as if he did not even consider the shinigami before him to be a true threat. "I have had nothing to do with the disappearances, fool of a reaper. Before you go about,insulting others and picking fights where fights ought naught be picked, get your facts straight. It is people like you who will shatter the fragile calm that has seemed to settle. Tell me something, why do I smell such murderous intentions from you?" he asked as he slowly turned around to face the man properly.

He registered the person as a man, one could never be sure, but the voice gave it away. The next thing he noticed about this person was a glowing red eye on his left side, the man was just as interesting as he was, missing his right eye. He rolled his tongue in his mouth twice before letting his jaw drop and his tongue run over his canines before flipping his sheathed blade upward and catching it allowing the entire thing to slide down back to his side, before seeming to lock into place on his hip. "One could have so many wonders in a place like this, I mean really...a peace or fragile environment? You mean the complete avoidance or all at war between the two races?!" His voice seemed to start low and then grow into a near anger, he dropped his voice, his mind and face finally registering the words the man had last spoken, "Who knows I bottle up lot's of things, and seeing things like you are an easy target to let loose on, so excuse me if I seem like I'm coming off like an ass. But you all kind of deserve it in your own way."

Shirasu simply smirked and shook his head slowly as he turned to face him proper. "Amusing. All I have seen since leaveing Hueco Moundo is closed minded fools and agression. Unneeded agression. Tell me, are all peoples such imbecilic neanderthals, or have I just been unusually unlucky to meet the absolutely retarded dwellers of this world?" he asked as he spread his feet and planted them firmly.

"I promise you something, you unruly child. I am not the one to take your agression out on. You are but a child screaming at the adult because thngs are not to your likeing. Back down fool. I am not here for you or any of these worthless humans anyway."

His face just seemed to jump, his emotions sprawling clearly across his face before he threw his hand up to his face in complete annoyance and took a deep breath. Recomposing himself he lifted the hand away and began laughing before placing it back down upon his face and pulling it away fully composed now, his face a blank slate. He looked across his uniform seeming to suddenly be ignoring the man before him. He straightened out his suit's coat and lifted it back into place and pulled it back out.

"You call me an unruly child, my attitude may symbolize one, even my actions might. But your appearance here has to be more then just pure coincidence. Which is where my aggression and venomous words are just. So If I may so kindly ask why you are here if you're not here for the humans that seem to have all begun to hide earlier then there ancestors?"

He stood tall on top of the lamp post before noticing where they exactly were. He spoke up once more, "Follow me if you really want to continue this conversation, It would be best for the integrity of the town, and your own words if we both left this town before something does break out." As he finished that sentence he shunpo'd to the ground and looked up to the arrancar waiting for him to see if he would comply or not.

Shirasu made no move to follow, watchin the shinigami with a most amused smirk, his arms still crossed. "I have no reason to follow you anywhere. I am here for my own purposes, purposes that do not concern you. I do not wish to continue this conversation and so I will not follow you. Be gone soul reaper. Your presence no longer amuses me. Besides, you are likely scaring away whatever might be here, carelessly letting all your rieatsu spill out unchecked that way. Be gone!" he said before turning away to once more look out over the town.

He let his face be painted with a smirk as he listened to the man's reasoning for not following him, finding it amusing at first, yet finding it increasingly annoying, extremely fast. By the time the man had begun to insult him for supposedly scaring away whatever it was he was here to find he thought of it as both an insult and a compliment, he was preventing danger. Yet his spiritual pressure leaking? He was sure as hell that was this man before him, and why not display a means of tolerance, he let his spiritual pressure spike again, then dropped it abruptly as if he had left drawing his zanpakuto, spinning it about in his hand once shunpo'ing next to the arrancar, "No matter how tempting a free strike on you would seem, I feel as a unruly child..." He spoke that last words with his teeth clenched before relaxing his jaw and continuing, "That I should at least fight you on what could be fair ground, or you know, what little honor there is in fighting your kind. He snarled the last words, spinning his zanpakuto again.

Shirasu sighed a bit, extending one finger from his crossed arms, aiming it at Ryo and firing off a magnum, a small red pellet of energy as powerful as a hado number 4. It likely wuldnt cause any real damage if it hit, though it would probably sting nicely. "I said be gone boy. I have no interest in you and should you continue I will destroy you without a second thought." he said calmly, his eye glowing brightly again.

He glanced over his shoulder, seeing a slight wisp of smoke rolling up from a building wall before vanishing. His eyes having registered the attack, he had quickly sidestepped barely, he was curious, the man's spiritual pressure hadn't spiked when he fired it, and apparently there was an almost direct correlation. He smiled, "Be gone? That's funny." He held up his left hand, his index finger pointing outward and smiled, "Let's see what mine is like to you. Hado Number 4, Byakurai" As the hado ended he flash stepped towards the man and went to slash his legs with his zanpakuto. He wanted to see how the man would react to his hado and his attack, to see if he could catch him in the middle of trying to counter.
