Sisters of the Light...Past Present Future

The silver haired boy and his tanned and dark haired partner in crime went from room to room, fighting the various women magic users that were torturing men to death as a sacrifice. They were destroying them. And killing them. Those that they didn't kill committed suicide. The duo reached the main summoning area and took on the initial guards. The dark haired boy transformed into a werewolf and slaughtered them, while the other summoned his holy sword and defeated and killed his opponents, though taking slightly longer.

Then they took on the big boss, some large breasted woman offering up ten children, some around the boys' age, some younger, to summon a demon. In a struggle, the duo killed her. And they continued shoving the demon's hand right back into its portal with all the power they could muster. They barely succeeded.

Yuri slowly opened his eyes from his nap. He had a dream about one of the last missions he did with Zellbrigidier Norman...his childhood and best friend that was also a werewolf. The Sisters of the Light...sexist women who called upon the leadership of women everywhere to rule over men. Complete tyranny of the female nature. He looked at the time, cursing and got ready for his trip. He wasn't going far, just a pub that Angel, Ziggy's ex-fiancee and leader of what remained of his pack, owned.

A half hour later, in a pub in downtown Dallas, Texas, loud and boistrous singing was heard. In Russian. The regulars were enjoying it, most of the non-regulars found it amazing that the group's odd ball, Yuri in his original appearance of silver hair, pale skin, and cyan eyes, could change his voice so readily, from male to female of various tones. And keep up with both parts. The group was emmensly enjoying each other's company in their private corner. Yuri was even matching them shots of vodka...and not the cheap stuff either.

They were doing this until midnight, when the bar closed. Angel then spoke to Yuri. She told him the Sisters of the Light were back and reorganizing. She also gave him some files that proved it and kept tabs on their kidnappings. Yuri went home and got very little sleep. Both because of them returning and that he was babysitting the bait, a werewolf child that was barely thirteen years old. They found someone that would be willing to help them stop and destroy the Sisters once and for all, and that Yuri got to meet them sometime later that day.

And so he was watching anime, the boy in his arms and snuggling into Yuri's chest, more afraid of the surgery to put in the tracking device than the actual task. They were suppose to meet his partner at his temporary penthouse. He only hoped they weren't going to be useless and was competent too. And strong. And didn't mind killing/hitting a woman.

kain walked throuh the streets, tattared cloak billowing, hood covering his face. His power was fully supressed. He moved with confidance though not to much vigor, trying not to leave a memorable impression on anyone. He'd been surprised when Yuri's buddy Angel showed up with a job for him. He didn't know how she found him but left it down to her werewolf abilities. She'd told him to go to the address in the envelope and meet with another man. She hadn't given Kain a name, just some basic details on the targets.

Kain reached the street the place he was looking for was on. But he didn't go straight up and knock, incase it was a trap. Instead found an alley, stepping over a drunk on the way, and climbed to the rooftops, opposite the building he was heading to. He took out a small telescope and checked out the windows. Curtains were closed, no sign of any gunmen on the surrounding building. He wasnt convinced, so he decided to go in through a sky light.

Kain took a run, but no human could jump that distance unaided. He used bringer light to launch himself from the roof top and shot across the street, then as he landed he used it again to muffle the sounds of his landing. Bringer light was unsensable, because of how it worked. He moved carefully across the roof top, watching for cameras or traps. Looking down through one of the sky lights. He took off his clove and placed his hand on the glass. Ice formed freezing them together. He formed a black ice blade in his other hand and cut a piece of glass large enough to allow him to drop through from the skylight.

He lifted the glass away, unfroze it from his hand and dropped into the empty room, using bringer light to catch himself so he didn't make sound. He was in. Now to find out who else was here. He crept to the door, and opened it slowly, to look into the next room.

The boy whispered in Yuri's ear. "Someone's here. I can smell them...in the other room..." Yuri's hyper intuition oddly didn't warn him of anything. He grabbed his pistol and aimed it at the room just as it crept open. "Come out. Slowly. This would be a first time I didn't get some type of warning..." The silverrette turned his head to find...Kain. Yuri put his pistol down. "Well...no wonder my Hyper Intuition didn't warn me of shit..." The werewolf kid looked at him oddly. "He's an...associate...a very bloodthirsty one...we've worked together before..." He certainly wouldn't call the man a friend and definately not a partner. The boy stayed on Yuri's lap...but glared at the new arrival.

Yuri smacked him in the head. Lightly. "Please sit. We have...a lot to discuss...you didn't break anything in there...did you?" Not like it mattered...Angel would be paying for it. "Anyway, what did Angel say? By the way, don't be surprised she found you...her pack did become one of the best intelligence agentcies in the world...well, her fiancee's pack...now her's." It seemed just the mission details, follow his orders, and protect him...like he needed protecting.

"The Sisters of the Light was an organization Ziggy and I destroyed a long time ago. They sacrificed men and boys only to summon a demon that would wipe out the vast majority of the men on this world. Or would have if they sacrificed enough of them. Instead, they only sacrificed enough for it to bring his hand out. We stopped it...barely." The boy was holding his nose. "Smells like blood?" The kid nodded and continued to glare at Kain. "Deal with it. You're gonna get torn open later today anyway."

Glancing back at Kain, he spoke some more. "As she said, they're kidnapping boys between the ages of 10 and 16. Healthy ones too. This munchkin here is going to find us their hideout. They've learned from their past mistake and fooled their noses. Later today...in about three hours, he's going to undergo a surgery to put in a tracking device in him. While makes himself seem like perfect bait...well...I was going to infiltrate their ranks and message you when and where to strike...but knowing you, you'll just go in anyway and start you specialty. Pretty much, would just chill until he stops moving and assault full on...again...on them. At least thats the plan...what do ya think?"

It was simple...easy...and Kain's seemingly favorite type of mission...so far as he knew of at least...

Kain was surprised when he heard yuri's voice telling him to step out. The assassin just stepped out and crossed the room ignoring the gun. "I'm... Not surprised..." Kain said. He didn't think it was a bad thing, working with yuri. In terms of jobs, they were similar, taking money to end lives, but they were far to different to get on. Well, it wasn't yuri's fault, Kain was an unsociable bastard.

Kain sat down in an armchair and leaned forward to listen to yuri. "Break? technically, no. I wasn't sure this was a trap, Angel didn't give me your name for some reason." Kain filled him in on most of the things Angel had told him. Then he listened to everything Yuri had to say before he would speak his mind. When Yuri asked the boy if it smelled like blood kain straigtened up smiling under his hood. It was a point of pride, that smell... He really should wash his cloak though.

Kain nodded. "Understood. But just to point out, Angel was very insistant I listen to you.. For now i'll be professional about it and follow your plan, though I will make a suggestion." Kidnapping kids... It nagged at the heartless monster, becuase he'd been kidnapped.. Oh he didn't remember, and these people hadn't done it but they reminded him of Kartos prime, and they needed to be wiped out.

"You've seen my various abilities. I can infiltrate the base once we've found it, and position myself perfectly for the attack. You use your own methods to get in, and once you give the signal I can wipe out as many targets as I can manage, while you rescue the kids. I can also use ice to seal the main doors once your in and before you order the attack, so no one will escape, and we can remove them for good."

Yuri was glad of that...he needed to thank Angel later. "I'll take that plan. Long as you have a cell phone, I can give you the signal. Granted, I might end up against the stronger opponents, but I get to fight less of them. Their typical powers are similar to my own, spells and magic circles. Just different theme or element. Some might even have multiple." Yuri shifted Nikolai off of him as he went to a safe. "I may not like it...but it's often been the easiest method to get information or infiltrate most places..." Nikolai was snickering the entire time now...as he knew what he was talking about.

Yuri went up to Kain with a file. "This will be my alias. Don't worry about whatever you didn't technically break, Angel's paying for it anyway. We better be heading off then. I'll keep you up to date." The file contained one of Yuri's crossdressing aliases...though you sure has hell wouldn't be able to tell it was Yuri in the first place. After exchanging contact information, they left.

As the werewolf boy was undergoing his surgery, Yuri was talking to Angel. He could barely believe it simply slipped her mind...on both their parts. Oh well. The silverette headed back to his penthouse and changed clothes and appearance completely. He now had black hair with crimson eyes, fairly good sized breasts, and woman's clothes. A blouse and slacks with women's dress shoes. The only things his magic hid was his Adam's apple and his junk. And he was out. He had the tracking device relay the information directly to his phone, so he knew where Nikolai was at all times.

Now it was simply getting the Sisters' attention and getting recruited...

Kain took out a piece of paper and handed it to yuri. "Thats one of my more permanent numbers.. " He said. Kain listened as Yuri spoke. He wasn't worried about what he broke. He had a feeling it might come back on him if Angel decided she didn't want to pay but that didn't bother him. Yuri handed him a file and Kain flicked through it, memorising the face and pysical features. "Alright, chances of my accidentally harming or killing you have decreased to 10%, those are good odds."

Kain rose, ruffled the kids hair, more than likely causing the boy to snarl, and walked back towards the room he came in. "I'll be nearby, out of sight. Despite our last venture, I do know how to not get seen. Send me an empty message if your in trouble." Kain walked back into the room and leaped up through the skylight.

After that he followed Yuri across the rooftops, energy surpressed and usingg bringer light where nessassery to make a jump. He'd done this many times before, chasiing across rooftops, hunting targets in cars below. It never mattered how fast the car could go, traffic and junctions get in the way. He followed Yuri to the first location, then onto the next place, moving like a shadow, unseen in the night.

He first went to a bar, after several hours since that morning's encounter with Kain and their plan of action. After getting hit on several times, he left to a different. Rinse and repeat. Ten times. That was when his hyper intuition was acting up. And he noticed to. Two men were following him...and a lone woman was following them, though was much better at it. He turned the corner. Only to punch the first guy and knock his ass out. The second tried to punch "her", but Yuri ducked and punched him in the gut, sending him into a light pole. "She" then looked directly at the woman that was following them. The stranger clapped. "Good to see you didn't need help..."

They began talking about various things. Men this, men that. Yuri wanted to slap the bitch and ask her how much more obvious could they be. Really...did they not learn from their past mistakes? Well...they did reform, so that answered that question. But she never mentioned it, and they parted ways...

~~Time Skip~~

4 days later

Nikolai was hanging around the playground. Walking home actually. He certainly wasn't thrilled about the surgery...nor anything after that. Damn thing was irritating his spine. He did not appreciate it. He noticed a van that hasn't been there before...and everyone in it reeked of magic users similar to Yuri. He paid it no mind as they came out and "knocked" him out. If it was a normal kid...yes, he would have been knocked out...but he was a werewolf...werewolves don't get knocked out that easily...

Kain watched the men following Yuri who were being followed by a woman. None of them except Yuri were aware Kain even existed. They were fools, to intent on their pray. Kain was well aware of his surroundings, and hadn't seen a single sign of someone following him. The fact that he'd checked showed how different he was to the fools below.

Yuri knocked out the men and started speaking with the woman. They spoke for a long time about what, Kain could only guess. He was to high to be noticed, but it also made hearing difficult. They eventually parted ways. Kain continued to tail the woman after that, following her to a house a few blocks away. He memorised the street name and house number, then left.

-time skip, 4 days later-

Kain was now dressed in more casual attire. A dark red hoody and tattered blue jeans, with white sneakers. He was across from the play ground, where there werewolf kid was. He'd been trailing him all day, for lack of a better thing to do right now. He'd kept watch on the house that woman went into and found it was her home. She had no husband or sons, but a daughter. He'd have broken in but didn't want to risk the magi getting onto him.

A black van pulled up and a pair of women jumped the kid, knocking him out. They didn't see him as they threw the kid into the van and sped off. Kain took out his phone, checking th tracking device was working.. And it was. Then he text yuri.

Yuri, package has been collected. I will begin persuit.

Kain climbed to the roofs and began persuit on foot. He wasn't worried about loosing the van. Unless they some how found the tracking device that wouldn't happen. He began the chase that spelled the beginning of the end for these fool women.

Yuri got the message as he was currently fighting in an underground fight. There was a special spectators stand...mostly rich bastards, but he recognized one woman that was for sure with the Sisters. She used darkness magic if he remembered right. Well...that was good...in a way. He was there unwillingly, of course. The "woman" stared at the overly huge man. When a bell sounded, he charged...right into a punch to the gut that slammed him into the wall. Everyone stopped. "Can I go now?" He asked in his feminine voice. The announcer was flabbergasted and was about to unleash hell when the Sisters arrived in force.

Impressed by that display, Miranda, the woman he remembered from last time, spoke with him. After talking for nearly an hour, they were on the road. While they didn't share their plans outright with him, they did make sure to attempt a background check on "her". And tested her. For five straight days...

~6 Days Later~

Nikolai woke up naked in a cage with nineteen others. It seemed they were still gathering children. He stayed docile as he knew drugs were still in his system, though no where near the amount that it would take to drug a werewolf good and proper. The cages, from what he could tell, was on a stage. The room itself seemed huge. He could smell around twenty women in the room...plus that Kain guy somewhere in the building or hideout...

Yuri was finally told of their plan. Same old, same old. Torture/kill as many guys as possible, sacrifice a hundred healthy boys to a demon, said demon wipes out the majority of men. They were only a fifth done, from what he gathered. All of organization would be coming here in three days for a meeting of some sort. Once he got home...he texted Kain. It contained three words...the date for the strike. He would be taken to the hidout a day before that...not like he didn't already know where it was, as the tracking device was still inside Nikolai. But they needed complete eradication of the organization.

Three days. Midnight.

Kain followed the car to the hideout, but did not follow it in. He took about an hour to check the place out and make sure the car didn't leave, before going off to get supplies. He might be there a while and didn't really want to have to survive on dust. He stocked up on water and rations, then changed back to his normal outfit. He stuffed everything into a pack and headed back to the headquarters.

Kain didn't enter that day, but rather watched it for the next 3 days to decifer the women's rutines. Every day he seen more vans go in and out. They were really working hard to gather those kids. 4 days past, and Kain finally decided to sneak in and check the place out. Using fullbring he phased himself out and passed through a wall to an external room, then began to search the place. He went invisible for that, and used his other powers sparingly.

He was able to watch from the shadows as the women went around their bussiness completely unaware of his presence. He found several potential hiding spots, but the best was the one close to the main doors, in a maintenance shaft. From there he could seal the doors with ice before the attack began, making the place that much harder to escape. After checking for other entrances he was surprised to find the only other one lead into the sewers. He'd seal that too.

The building wasn't very tall, but it went 3 floors underground. He would have to seal the doors to the carpark too. He almost messed up there. The were only small windows on this floor, and they wouldn't be easy to escape. This was going to be a slaughter, Kain thought, as he vanished and left the building again.

the night of the attack.

Kain was in his hiding spot. It was 11:30 pm. He waited patiently for the clock to strike twelve, then he would seal the exists and start the killing. He intended to make each kill painful and bloody. Revenge for kidnapping kids, and attempting to sacrifice them. Crazy bitches would pay very soon.

Yuri was taken to the building. It looked like two stories, but then three floors below. It was more than what their last one was. They were given a tour, and then met in the meeting room, which was essentially a huge audience chamber on the second floor down. "She" had a watch, the clock showing 11:45. The last 15 minutes was idle chatter. Security was lax and small. Kain's part would be easy. He was most likely going to get stuck revealing himself against the majority of them as Kain slashed them. At midnight...that's when things happenned. Or so they should. Five minutes past. Ten minutes past. A full quarter hour past until the alarm rang out. Immediately, someone with a tracking spell identified the intruder as being on the first floor.

"She" and four others accompanied the two big wigs. The one he knew was the second in command. One Miranda Powers. An evil daughter of a bitch. Her darkness magic he knew well. But he was stronger now than back then. And he was sure she was too. Perhaps it was a mistake sparing her. The other he didn't even recognize. The six of them, Miranda, her boss Lucia, him, and two others went to the final floor. Which was simply the large stage and summoning chamber. There, he saw all twenty of the kids, including Nikolai. Good thing his fake breasts had underwear for them inside of them. There, they waited on top of the stage.

And waited for Kain to show himself through the door. Or roof. It was then he took out his knife and gun...and slit the one insignificant chick's throat and shot the other one in the head as Lucia was talking to the bloodthirsty maniac. Both looked at Yuri as he jumped back, tossing his gun and knife to the elevator. He gave them a cheeky grin as Nikolai finally stopped playing possum. "Alright, you two had your fun...how about finishing them off and get us some clothes!" Miranda was dumbstruck at the embarassed boy that was now glaring at them all.

"Oh, calm down. We're on it." Miranda's eyes widened as she recognized Yuri's voice now that he returned it to normal. Even though he went into a small coughing fit right afterwards. He was wearing heels that covered his entire foot and a dress. He lifted up the dress, showing black shorts and a black sleaveless shirt underneath. Taking off the heels also showed black Chinese slippers that he often wore in these situations. The wig came off, showing his silver hair. Imputting a code on the back of the fake breasts, he came up with 20 pairs of underwear. He took them to Nikolai, who put one on and bent the cage open and started to help the others, who were now slowly getting out of their druggy state.

Miranda was fuming now. "You...you...werewolf and you...got yourself a new partner? You f*cker!" A black magic circle appeared below her hand as a white one appeared below Yuri's. While Yuri summoned the Heaven's Gate sword, she summoned the Sword Breaker, a darkness magic sword. All that was left was the user of the Rune Blade to show up, if they exist, and the set would be complete...but oh well.

The two charged each other and started their fight, matching blow for blow as Lucia went after Kain...

The clock hit 12, and kain was moving. He left the building through the main door and sealed it with ice from the outside. There was enough there that it would take a while to get through. He then circled round towards the vehicle entrance. He encountered a patrolling gaurd.. She didn't see him coming as he grabbed her from behind and rammed a sword through her back. He dragged the body away and left it in some bushes.

He made it to the parking lot entrance, and sealed it with enough ice that they would need a speeding truck to smash through, cars wouldn't cut it. He also made the inside spikey, incase they tried that. He then headed back out, found the rest of the patrolling guards and dealt with them. After that he went fullbring and phased through the wall, and started the fun.

He set the alarms off himself with a smile beneath his skull helmet. Then there were women everywhere, but he was to busy cutting them down to count how many. It was curious how they'd found him, though he didn't think to much on it. Tracking spells probably. Eitherway during that time he killed everyone he met. He doubled back to check the two doors and found a few women trying to escape, and killed them too.

There was no one at the garage entrance, well except for someone who sped their car into the wall of ice and impaled herself on the spikes. Kain chuckled and headed towards Yuri and the powers he could feel. He walked through the door into the theater, covered from head to tow in blood. Yuri was there, and as soon as Kain arrived, out came a knife and the woman closest to yuri fell, and he killed the other with a gun.

Kain watched one of the woman freak out. She attacked Yuri. The other came up to him. "Who are you? Your drenched in blood!" She said. "The blood of your sisters, bitch." Kain replied cooly. "You monster, you Demon!" She screamed.
"From what i hear, you girls wanted a demon.. You got one." he said, laughing. "Be careful what you wish for, eh?"

She screamed again. A pair of magic seals appeared and she snatched guns from inside them. Kain dodged left as she opened fire. Screaming about him being a woman hating pig. He switched direction and rushed right at her, creating a field of telekenetic energy to repel her bullets momentarily. He slashed with his sword and she blocked with the guns, and tried kicking him in the nuts. He responded with in kind. "For the record, I like women!" both kicks missed as she jumped away and started firing again.

Pulse and Shine magic spells collided, soon after, a black Seiken and a white one also collided. It was a power match neither could get an upper hand. Yuri got in her face, grabbing one of his Seiken swords and started slashing away. However, it did seem he was faster. The fight lasted twenty more minutes as Yuri finally got a blow on her, taking her arm and then stabbing her in the back. He turned and watched Kains fight if it was still going on.

But it still wasn't over. Miranda was dragging herself to the seal. And succeeded. "If I can't kill you both...then a monster will..." She activated some sort of seal and sacrificed herself to summon a monster. Yuri's eyes widened. He'd seen that hand before. Turning to Nikolai, he yelled. "Get out of here! Now!" Turning back, the creature revealed itself. Nearly ten feet tall, very muscular, dog like face, cobra tail..."Gleaming Eyes...the darkness demon of choice for complete destruction...we're gonna have our work cut out on this one..."

Yuri jumped to the side, and jumped over it, firing off several shine spells and a Holy Wave attack which barely even cut the damn thing. Only to get hit by the tail. He hit the ground hard. He couldn't take that again. And the beast was coming to him to finish him off...

(OOC: Yes, Gleaming Eyes from SAO, you know, when Kirito first revealed the duel wielding swords. It's tier is 1-2.)

The woman continued attacking kain screaming at him in anger. He slowed down and just dodged, acting like he was starting to tire. He attacked less, he slowed, and finally he got hit in the arm and dropped his sword, all according to plan. Going down onto one knee he was breating heavily. "Ha, your pathetic. All talk." The woman walked closer, and placed the gun to his forhead. "I'll spare you if you beg." She said smiling.

kain opened his mouth and laughed. In a flash he snatched her arm in his free hand and squeezed so hard she dropped the gun. Surging to his feet he shoved the long claws of his gauntlet up under her sternum. A river of blood ran down his hand. "You.. You faked it." She said.

"Dont you just hate when its faked?" He said. She caughed blood as she slumped against him. "Your going to burn in hell, monster." She said. "I'll see you there then." He ripped out his claws and she slid to the floor, dead. Kain looked to Yuri, who'd finished his fight, but his opponant wasn't dead. She activated a seal, and a demon started to climb out.

"Gleaming eyes, is it? That the best you bitches could do?" Kain glared back at the massive demon, unfazed. Yuri attacked and took a heavy blow. Kain growled and lunged. "Over here you useless excuse for a demon!" Kain roared. He went into hyper mode, black wings forming. He formed a massive Ice Scythe, going slightly overkill on the weapons size, and hacked at the demons neck several times in a row as he flew around his enemy.

The demon moved way faster than what either of them could have thought. It matched blow for blow against the flying ice assassin with its weapon. Yuri finally recovered enough to let off two spells. The first, a white magic circle showed up below the creature fired a huge beam of light. The demon roared as it was pushed up a bit, leaving it open for a good hack or two. The second fired a ball of white energy that at first went after Kain, then diverted to Gleaming Eyes...as it was a homing attack to whoever was most evil. It also hit, though not with the same power as Judgement.

Two more magic circles appeared, though one side was multiple magic circles. From the one that had multiple magic circles came fifty Seikens. Only about a fifth of them actually hit it as it fired a beam of darkness energy at Kain and swung its cobra tail at him. Yuri adjusted the other spell's direction towards the creature, firing a barrage of...hollow stars...

The thing fired an energy beam at Yuri, who dodged it, and fired some spikes at Kain. Though it should be noted that the tail and legs were now moving awfully sluggish after getting hit by the stars. Yuri closed from beneath...with Kain doing his own thing...

As soon as Yuri's judgement attack hit, Kain rushed in and hacked at gleaming eyes, tearing a gash into its arm and ribs. Gleaming eyes countered with a back hand knocking the killer aside as a ball of light was heading for Kain. It deverted and hit gleaming eyes instead. Kain looked at Yuri funny, then gleaming eyes attacked kain with a beam of darkness, and he blocked it with a thick wall of ice then moved aside before it burst through at hit a wall. Gleaming eye's tail followed. Kain blocked it with his scythe in such a way that it cut its tail as it hit. Kain was still pushed to the side.

As the tail retreated he spun and launched the scythe but wasn't sure if that hit as he formed an oversized greatsword, and unleashed a barrage of icy blades, ten infact. Some where hit by spikes fired by gleaming eyes others reached him. Kain fell into a defensive position and parried aside most of the spikes but one slammed into his right side, cracking through a rib. That was bad, kain noted. Hopefully it didn't peirce his lung, durability or no he'd feel that soon.

He ignored the pain and attacked back with a beam of ice and wind as strong as a cero oscuros.

A magic circle appeared underneath Kain, and started healing him. It was inefficient, especially in the middle of a fight, but Yuri didn't care. He couldn't beat Gleaming Eyes on his own. He slashed at the legs and focused his power into his sword. He went between the legs and attacked the tail...and chopped it off. Only for the darkness creature to start falling backwards...on top of HIM. Yuri did a 180 and dived out from underneath. He stood up right next to Kain, and pointed at the sky. Fifty magic circles appeared and rained down his Seiken spell...before the thing had gotten up.

Though it was heavily damaged, it was still in fighting condition and slowly unpinning itself. "Think you can cut or tear off the left arm?" And he has the right. He ran as fast as he could, blurring. His healing circle had disappeared the second Kain left it. Speed was a specialty of his. He concentrated about a fourth of his remaining power into his sword. Yuri was covered with black goo, and put the rest of his massive amounts of energy into the Heaven's Gate sword. Hopefully, in unison, Yuri and Kain will finish the beast off with a combined ice, wind, and holy strike to the head.

And hopefully that worked...

The healing yuri cast didn't do much but Kain could breath properly so he'd live. Kain chuckled when Yuri asked if he could take the left arm off. He replied by making it happen, though it took some effort. He took the greatsword in 1 hand and formed a bardiche with a short handle in the otherhand, and lunched at the demon. He used the greatsword to block the demon's blows, then dropped it, sprung forwards and cut down hard on the muscle of the left arm. He hit it two more times, exposing and cracking the bone, then he slammed a spike of ice into the crack.. It began to exspand, until the upper armbone shattered. Kain cut through the last of the flesh and the arm dropped to the floor with a heavy thud.

Disarmed, Kain laughed at that, the demon roared with rage. Kain and Yuri made their final charge against the beast, Kain barraging the head with heavy blows of his bardich. As he did that, he formed a giant ice spike and brought it plummeting down on the demons head as yuri's attacks struck, and in unison they caused a rather satisfying squish as blood exploded everywhere. The demon's corpse toppled forwards as back goopy blood pooled around it. Kain let his hyper mode disolve, and starred at the demon for a few seconds. Then he laughed, continually for a good minute or so, genuine laughter he couldn't seem to stop.

If Yuri asked what was up he waved him away as he made his sides, especailly the one that got peirced, ache. He eventually wiped away the tears of laughter, looked straight at yuri, and said. "Disarmed." No explenation came. He was clearly lacking screws.

The head...exploded...covering them in its blood. Yuri was not amused, though it seemed Kain was. When he asked, he got the answer. And he started to chuckle...then an outright laughter. It was pretty funny if you just thought about it. After he was done, the silver haired male started to speak again. "Good one...anyway. Sorry about the Impure Purification spell earlier...it goes after whoever is most evil...not counting myself...still need more healing? It's not very efficient during battle and requires time for the full effect..." If yes, he would start it up again.

Either way, the creature's belly split open to reveal the girl Yuri had fought. She too, was dead. But her sword exited her own body as it turned to a darkness mist. It floated there, pulsing darkness energy. Yuri's own sword had put itself up and glowing white, emitting holy energy. Yuri watched the swords seemed to be communicating via their pulses. Soon, the Sword Breaker created a black magic circle and disappeared inside it. "Funny...out of all the magical weapons out there...only the three 'moral' weapons actually have minds of their own. And now two of them are out searching for new wielders...one of which has no specific target in mind...and is perhaps the strongest of the three. Whoever gets the Rune Blade is not someone I would want to fight with..."

He allowed his blade to go back into it's own dimension, since it wasn't really needed anymore. "Thanks for the help. If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to call..."

Kain shrugged and waved Yuri away. "Its fine, it missed. And no I'm fine. Its not as serious as I first though. Lets get the hell out of here before the coalition decide to do their jobs." Though he figured the coalition wouldn't know about this for a good time, and would assume the demon caused all the trouble. Eitherway though, he wasn't up for the idea of getting caught by them.

Kain wasn't really interested in magic swords, but when Yuri said the last thing about needing help Kain looked up. "Actually, I might need a hand with something.. If you dont mind going up against an organisation filled with highly trained assassins... " Kain said as they were leaving. "I'll keep you filled in on that, I have a plan in mind but I need to know what kind of assets my enemy has at hand before i can do anything else. And before you ask, yes I plan to pay you and I have more money than you'd expect. Until then, dont die."

Yuri shrugged. "Angel has a communications blackout over the area. One of the reasons the pack was attempted to be recruited, and partially responsible for its decimation, was its ability to control the media on a small scale. Including manipulation of authority figures. It'll be at least a day before they even know what happened here. And I say that taking their weakened state into consideration."

He followed Kain to the elevator. The assassin actually took him up on his offer. "Wouldn't be the first, and probably not the last. Though I have the distinct feeling these assassins are more highly trained than the CIA and other intelligence organizations. Long as you give me at least two days to get there, consider me in." And he was getting paid for it too. So all was well in the world.
