Sisters! Lov...wait...what?

Rui had traveled to a small village called Shingo in Japan. With sisters that were looking for a disturbance in Rome...ironically, him. Though he didn't cause any disturbances beyond some idiots pushing him into a busy street. The boy had managed to trick the girls into believing he was human, under an alias of Linkin Abel....or something like that.

His only known ability to them was his high speed regeneration...hence why he was caught in the first place. The girls were certainly odd...pulling random things out of thin air or "double" jumping and other such things. Something similar to what spiritual beings already can do...but this seemed different. He still hadn't figure that one out. His odd fashion sense was also somewhat in play...though they weren't discriminitory. They were...kinda fun.

But who knows what he's gonna find at their home, where they were headed to now...

The girls were giggling ever since they got off the airplane. They were bringing a boy home and it was the first time that it has ever happened. They got to their home, which had been supplied by the coalition, and lo and behold you'd have thought you walked into a Frat Boy Party. There were empty soda bottles everywhere.. nothing remained of food except the plastic packages they came in. Ironically almost no dishes were dirty and the floor was somewhat tolerable. They had the walls LINED with games as if it were a game library and then they had the couch with the two plasma HD tv's.

"Welcome to our home!" They said with a giggle and a bow as they opened the door and offered to let him inside politely, "If there is something you need," Mei said, "or something you are curious about." Kaiya finished, "Just feel free to ask!" They said together. You'd think it was staged how in sync they were right now. As if they had been planning this moment all their lives. Quite funny really, "On the bright side we managed to find and remove all the Coalition camera's. When they asked us why we said." Kaiya looked at Mei at this point, "There's no way in flippin hell I'm going to let some fat night shift security guard watch my house every night! In the games and movies they are ALWAYS perverted despite everything thinkin they aren't!" Mei finished with a puff of her chest and a proud grin.

"right!?" they said to Rui simultaneously.

When Rui stepped into the threshold...he couldn't believe his eyes. At least the dishes were clean...miracalously. The floor was tolerable, if only barely...the entire place needed to be cleaned. The spoke as if reading each other's minds...completely in sync. He did sweatdrop at the cameras. Really? Were they that paranoid about their employees? When they continued, he did grab his arms and shuddered. He'd met his own share of perverts in his lifetime. "That's...understandable...I wouldn't want that either...I've dealt with my fair share of perverts myself..." Despite the fact that he was a boy...and not a girl...damn perverts can't decide which side they're playing for.

He walked on in with his bag of clothes. "Curious...do you guys clean up after this?" Beyond the filth, he did notice the TVs and the games...and there were a lot of games. If it wasn't for the mess...he'd be mezmerized by the number of games the girls had. "Say...do you have a trashcan? Or a trash bag? And cleaning supplies? Your place kinda needs to be cleaned..." He was wearing his light blue version of his typical outfit. he wasn't a clean freak...but even this was...far beyond what he would have allowed to have happened to any of his many hideouts in Hueco Mundo. He wasn't evens sure where to put his bag...

The guy started freaking out about cleaning and the girls just started laughing, "It's just plastic kick it aside! All the dishes are already put up and cleaned..and it's not like you'll step in anything." Mei said after they stopped laughing, "Besides it's thursday. We always clean on monday." Kaiya added with a giggle, "So if you really wanna pick up plastic for an hour go ahead but it's not really gonna hurt you or your stuff." The girls then jumped over the back of the couch and started sitting there. Mei turned on the news and Kaiya used the other T.V. to start playing a DBZ game on max difficulty... something both of the girls like doing but were too good at for it to be a challenge.

"I guess if you really care about the mess you can hide in the guest room," Mei said after a minute, "We don't touch it and don't usually have guests so it's clean."

He was laughed at! He crossed his arms and pouted cutely. He took his stuff to the guest room...or he would if he knew where it was at. "Umm...where is...the...guest room?" Following their directions, he made it there. Putting his stuff on the bed he went back out. Finding the trashcan...he spent an hour picking up the trash. It wasn't as bad as what he initially thought. Just as he got done, the news started saying something interesting.

"And in other news, many countries are questioning the Amesbury Magical Library. Claims of humans that have no powers of their own, but learnable "spells", continue to mount and even proven. Many are confused and even fearful..."

The report continued with the overview. Then went to an on site correspondent, interviewing some woman named Angel Norman, who had long dark brown hair, yellow eyes, and wearing a woman's business suit. She started answering questions.

Rui leaned on the couch as he listened. "I'd like to go there sometime..." He's never encountered someone like what they were describing. But then again, he doesn't go into unnecessary fights. "What do you guys think?" He found it quite fascinating. Well...he was curious about a lot of things. And enjoyed learning about new things.

They pointed him in the right direction and then laughed again as he started to clean for them. They didn't ask but they didn't stop him either. When the news mentioned magic Rui asked thhe girls about it. "Hrm? Oh.." Mei said as she looked over at Rui, "Well that doesn't really concern us.. I guess we could go if you want though. Anything they could do we could make look lame in comparison.."

Kaiya had just finished fighting five opponents at once with one character on max difficulty oon her DBZ game and thus was just now paying attention, "but we just got home!" "Well it's not like we really do anything anyways.. All our schoolwork is a sinch.." "I suppose so.." "So.. did you wanna go?" They both said together as both looked at Rui.

It wouldn't have been that hard. The girls could probably get them there in less than a minute anyways if they truely wanted to.. Would be a huge drag though. Mei pulled out a wallet and looked inside at it's emptiness. Looks like if he wanted to go they wouldn't have a choice. The girls was out of allowance for the week.. and the Coalition really hated it when they tried to get more allowance..

Rui listened to the girls and chuckled. "I just find the concept interesting is all..." He watched as one of them looked inside her empty wallet after the question. He sweatdropped. "Or we can do it some other time...when you get more money...it's not like they're going anywhere from the looks of things..."

Unless of course they had an ability that could do that. If stated, he would perk up a bit. "That's cool...sure!" He practically bounced back to the guest room to grab his duffle bag, which held his sword and various clothes. And let them do their thing, whatever it was.

When they arrived...it was a huge building. Inside of it, to the left was the main receptionist desk. In front, columns and ailes of books that reached amost to the cieling. Braces and bridges were everywhere, and you would see an employee doing some...not very human-ish capabilities in gathering books, searching, or putting them away. To the right...there was a cafe. Stairs led to several stories up. But he also noticed there were some leading downstairs.

The place was majestic. But he also felt several warps of human spiritual pressure. One of the attendants came up to them. "Welcome to the Amesbury Magical Library. How may I help you?" Rui looked at the girls. He was a little...speechless right now...

"Bah.. if we needed money for things other than games and food we'd never get anywhere." Kaiya said with a laugh, "Yeah.. travelling expenses are pretty lame. So we just do it ourselves most of the time.." Mei chipped in as the girls stood up and moved to the front door, "Well lets get going then." and right after they stepped outside their spiritual energy spiked drastically.

"Super.. SAIYAN!" They yelled out as both girls got covered in a yellow aura, gained blonde hair, and their eyes turned blue. The energy spike subsided a little bit now that they had transformed but the output was still decent. Not that either of them realized Rui was stronger than either of them in that regard, "Well time to go." Mei said as she put a hand on the boys shoulder assuming he had indeed came with and then bang the girls had used instant transmission and they were suddenly in front of the Magical Library though both girls returned to normal and they were both out of breath for the effort. They quickly recovered their stamina though. Rui happily went inside and the girls followed him.. It looked really nice and people were doing their work with this "Magic" they had mentioned.. kinda cool but the girls figured they could still top anything they could do.

Someone asked how they could help the trio and Rui just looked dumbfounded, "Our friend wanted to come see this place after we saw it on the news a few minutes ago on the T.V." "Oh? You are locals then?" "Nah we're from Shingo in Japan. Just decided to drop by so he could visit." "...You came from Japan.. in a few minutes.." "Yep" "interesting! Well welcome again. What did you want to look at first here? Do you have an idea?" The girl asked Rui since the girls had said he was the reason they were here.

Rui thought on it for a moment...and noticed the manager (still doing her interview) glance suspiciously at him. He let it go because of his outfit. "Well...I guess some of it's concepts or some examples first..." The helper nodded.

"Follow me please. This facility does more than just provide a library about magic. It also houses lessons on how to combat it and other services. However, that requires charging people for it. The current popular style of spellcasting is best used against slower opponents and is great for mass attacks and attacking blind spots. There are other types of spells that uses the same format, but do different things." He led them into a corridor that was to their left. After about thirty feet, there was an observatory. "Here, we have a premier holy magic user donating his time in training some of our younger workers on how to combat it should some decide to cause trouble here. This is a neutral area, so combat is prohibited. But we do occasionally have a frustrated magic user come in here to cause some trouble. None of the other races has attempted it, but that doesn't mean they won't sooner or later."

The window showed an albino teenager (though not as pale as one would expect), casting an ice spell. A blue magic circle appeared behind a boy no older than 14, and a huge ice blade slicing deep into his shoulder as the boy had charged head on at him. As the boy stumbled, the man kicked him in the face and threw two white energy balls, and talked to the other students. Rui couldn't help but noticed that the boy's wound was healing fairly quickly. Not as fast as him, but certainly comparable to a hollow or arrancar. Rui was about ask about it when the helper answered. "Most of the workers here are werewolves. Delved into the magical world thanks to our former pack leader and his childhood friend. Angel and the pack are well respected by the Magical Board of Directors. And most magic users can use other spells beyond a specific element or two. Like that one."

If the girls mentioned anything about the Coalition at this point in time, the helper would frown and visibly tense. "We are well aware of their requirements and regulations. Our former Alpha died protecting us from the Coalition, who attacked us based on a misunderstanding. Be assured, however, that there is no intention of revenge. So long as they stay out of our business, we'll stay out of their's."

Rui seemed pretty surprised. But then again, most organizations have their dark moments. Though he found it odd that they would completely disregard the notion of revenge. He would love to find out more...but right now did not seem appropriate as they continued the tour...

The girls had indeed mentioned the Coalition as their place of work and had compared standard advent humans to what they were witnessing around the place, but because they themselves had no real attachment to the organization they simply let the womans words roll off them. They didn't do the attack and thus it didn't concern them or their past. However one thing spoken had gotten their attention. Werewolf. The only ones they had ever seen were in movies and games. So they immediately started hopping up and down and giggling, "Can we see can we see can we see? We wanna see one transform!"

If allowed they would follow the woman to view the spectacle. If not, the girls would pout but give up on it and just remain quiet for now watching anytime someone doing magic did something they hadn't already seen so far. Which happened pretty often.

Mei started to get bored though, "Well.. this is cool and all sure..but..I mean.. me and my sister can do crazy things very similar to magic all the time.. It's a new outlet of power and all but it's not really as special as one may think in today's world.." Kaiya listened to her sister and kind of agreed but she did not voice her opinion because she didn't want to be seen as Rude.

Rui sweatdropped at the antics...as did the woman helper. She smiled apologetically at the girls. "Sorry...but we only really transform if needed when taking someone down. Some of the younger ones may not have full control, be we keep a tight reign on them so they don't cause trouble." Rui patted the girls' backs as they pouted.

Rui chuckled at Mei's comment. He hadn't seen them use a lot of their powers. Just when they transported him here and when they first met. Silently, he agreed. The helper likewise chuckled. "Indeed. Techinically speaking, it really isn't all that different compared to advent humans, shinigami, vizard, arrancar and other races' powers. About the only difference is that it's learnable by any human that don't have powers of their own. Girls, you can't actually teach someone to use the exact same power as you, correct? The same is true with a shinigami's shikai abilities, and others. You girls can never learn any of the spells in these walls specifically because you have powers of your own. Likewise, we werewolves can't learn magic ourselves..."

Rui piped up here. "So it's like shinigami kido...only a shinigami can learn it...right?"

The helper nodded. "To some extent, yes, but any shinigami can potentially learn kido. And rumor has it that a very select few humans can use kido. Mostly because they have shinigami blood running in their veins, according to the same rumor. Girls, have you heard of someone like that?" Rui got a little suspicious at the helper at this point. How in the hell did they know this? Either way, the helper nodded at the girls.

"Anyway, you can test your powers against a few volunteers in the arena downstairs. The first one is free. If you'd like." She winked at the girls. The main intent was to seperate them from the boy...so that she can have a little one on one talk with him.

Rui tugged on the girls' sleeves, to talk to them a bit more privately. He also came to another thought. She, and the rest of the werewolves here, can smell exactly what he is...an arrancar. But seeing as he's been behaving himself, they weren't bothering him. But still..."I suddenly have a bad feeling about this. I'll follow your lead...but I'm very nervious about this now..." And he would stick by them closely. If they chose to go on with the fight, Rui would get a little worried.

The girls looked at eachother with both genuine curiousity and then shame. Could they "teach" their ability? After a while they managed to come to the same conclusion, "No.. we cannot.. we are able to share parts of it but that happens at a subconcious level and is active as long as we have energy.. We can extend this very very limitedly..but that is extremely taxing for us.." Kaiya started off explaining, "For example..without using any energy or anything else.. try jumping up and then jumping again while in the air.. you'll find that because we are here such an impossible thing is now possible.. once we leave however it would stop.."

The two looked at each other for a second and looked sheepish for a second, "come to think of it I hope that isn't messing up a lot of your volunteers.." When asked if they knew someone who could use Kidou they shook their head. Yes they had "heard" of a young man that could..but they knew not his name or his face.. and they usually got yelled at when they talked about other coalition members..

Linkin expressed worry but Mei couldn't pass up a challenge, "I'll spar (and she made sure to express the word spar). Kaiya you stay by Linkin since he's getting the jitters and help calm him down a bit while I blow some steam.." If it wasn't for the fact the girls were being genuine and thus would have normal heart rates one of the werewolves may have actually begun to suspect them as traitors.. but since they honestly didn't know their little friend was the enemy.. no one could do so.

The helper nodded. "It's fine. We have a rare treat in today that would probably be figuring out all the neat tricks you're sharing and would probably be trying to integrate it into her own style, even if it's just temporary. Though those are some intriguing powers you have." She lead the group to a crossroads. Though she couldn't help but wonder how this arrancar boy could have earned their trust so easily. There were various theories on that...but she guessed she couldn't find out at all. Not with one of them there. Rui couldn't agree more with the statement, but that's also why he tagged along with them.

She pointed to the left. "That way shows the entrance to the arena. *points to the right* That way is the audience. It's modeled after the Colleseum. Don't worry about stray attacks. Unless the attack is strong enough to wipe out an entire city, there's a barrier in place to protect the spectators." She lead Kaiya and Rui to the spectator spot. The fightable arena was 300 yards in diameter, flush to the wall. From that wall and up, and through it, was a tint of color, signifying the barrier. The helper sat down. Rui sat next to Kaiya...on the opposite side of where the helper was.

There were four other people, besides Mei, in the arena. Three of them were playing cards, and the other one, the lone woman, was leaning against the wall with a metal pole in hand. When she saw the girl, she gave wolfish grin. "About time a woman showed up. Clear the stage, bitches, this is my fight." Grabbing the eight foot pole, she walked to the center of the stage as the boys retreated. They knew better than to get in this chick's way. They closed the door. "Name is Annabell Munroe. Show me what you got." She wore short blue jean shorts, blue sneakers, a white T-shirt, and had black, fingerless gloves on.

Behind Rui, Kaiya, and the helper, a voice spoke up. "Oh? Manwoman is finally doing her volunteer work...this outta be good...especially since I'm not the target this time..." The teenager that was training those werewolves sat down behind them. Rui couldn't help be smile a little at the comment. And now it was time to wait and see what they could do.

The girls split and as instructed Kaiya kept a close eye on Rui and the Helper lady since Rui did voice concern and the girls didn't know he was an Arrancar, at least not yet. "Mei Tribal." She said in response to the bossy lady as she made the others in the Arena scatter. The air around her changed a bit as she activated both Super Strength! and Mega Armor! to start with causing her strength and endurance to double as well as conjure a double edged cross voulge which she then split into two double ended spears.

"Then let the warm up begin!" Mei said as she sprinted forward and jumped up to power slam her spears at the girl's head and then jumped again if dodged or blocked so that she could end up behind the original position of Annabell and, if she was still in range, stab for her back with one of the spears. If Annabell wasn't in range, at any point, she would snap the spears back into their cross shape and hurl the large weapon at her.

Anna felt the air change and grinned when the girl summoned twin double ended spears. Her own staff started to gain lines and symbols. Mei charged her and jumped, doing a power slam onto Anna's staff. She braced herself as the ground beneath her cracked. She moved and sidestepped, swinging the pole for a jab. Only for Mei to jump again and flip so that she would be behind the magic user. Fat chance she was letting that happen. A magic oval appeared at Anna's right and zoomed to the left, consuming her before an attack came. The golden oval then seperated into several smaller magic circles. They moved erratically and upward.

At close to the top of the arena, 200 yards up in fact, they lined up in a circle. A beam of light fired, converging to a single point 30 yards below. Anna was shot out, downward towards Mei. After knocking away the weapon, a magic circle with an arrow sticking out and pointing at Mei. When Anna crossed it, she moved at shunpo speeds towards her. If she missed the swing, the ground would form a crater from it. And herself from moving so fast and landing. Spinning to meet her opponent, she started swinging away with the metal staff until Mei did something significant...and destroy her.

Rui...was a bit underwhelmed. "Really? A fancy teleportion or fazing spell? And a vector spell?"

The man behind him chuckled. "Notice something?"

Rui looked up. The formation was still there. A second Anna emerged when the fake one got destroyed...but then her form seemed...blurry...and that there were multiple of them, or so it looked like...an illusion? She did the exact same thing, a vector spell to increase her speed going in that direction, and attempted to slam onto Mei with her weapon. Then the spell dissipated.

Now Rui looked impressed. "She can't do that too often. That blurry/illusionish effect will last a bit. But it's just one of her tricks up her sleeve."

(( OOC - ...i'm assuming Toasty hits the fake and destroys it. If I worded it wrong to do so or I put it in the wrong spot lemme know.. this whole thing just confuses me when I read it. I want to make Toasty get rid of the fake so I can use my power ninjutsu on the real one. ))

Mei dove to the side as the girl burst towards her at a high speed and almost laughed at the fact the woman was trying to kill her.. or would have if she hadn't gotten completely aggrivated by that fact.. Something that became clear as Mei activated three new powers.. The first being Toasty! Causing a man of random look to appear directly infront of Annabell as she started trying to flurry on Mei and this man immediately with great power and decent speed tried to uppercut Annabell's jaw. If he succeeded or failed for any reason he would instantly be gone in the blink of an eye regardless.

and Mei would have used that moment to get her bearing in order as she activated Ninjutsu! and Flight! which caused her double ended weapons from early to disappear entirely. She then took to the air and suddenly created and then threw a giant ball of constantly vortexing energy, "RasenShuriken!" causing a projectile equal to Hadou 80 to be hurled at the girl which would then expand for 50 feet if dodged.

Mei waited to see if the attack did anything.. if Annabell was still in the fight Mei would then use the Many Hidden Shadow Snake Hands Technique and cause dozen's of snakes to come from her other hand and try to bite Annabell in multiple places all at once. The snakes themselves were easily destroyed but their bite was nothing to laugh at. They could chomp in power equal to Hadou 50.

Kaiya was fidgetting but only because she didn't like it when Mei fought and she wasn't allowed to help.. If that woman hurt Mei... Her own spiritual power started to slowly climb as if anticipating the fact Kaiya might try something stupid and pointless.

Rui, the man behind them, and the helper was floored when that being popped out of nowhere and uppercutted the doll, literally knocking its head off and disappearing. It was a "What the f*ck?!" moment for the audience. Then she started to fly towards the real one, firing a vortex of energy. Suddenly, Anna was glowing blue, and a sky blue magic circle appeared. But too late. She landed on a magic circle that...seemed to be doing nothing but holding her in midair. She had some clothes cut up, even some cuts. But otherwise seemed ready to continue.

"What? That attack wasn't weak by any means...but yet..."

"She tried to negate it. But using that vector spell increased her speed so much that she didn't have time to complete it, so it only weakened that vortex energy explosion a lot. But it did blow away that blurry/illusionish effect though...it was a nice idea."

Rui then turned to him with a questioning look. "I've worked with her twice and against her once." Rui nodded and continued to watch.

As the snakes came at her, she grinned even more. Another magic circle went through her. They chomped on her, but didn't break the skin, though the force of it still hurt some. She allowed it to pull her towards the other woman. As she got close...a magic circle appeared between them, and fired off a saw blade that ignores all physical defenses. She tore the snakes off and aimed a punch to the face and a kick the shins. Then a karate chop to the neck.

Swinging her metal staff around her head, Anna then tried to smash it against Mei's. Except there wasn't any symbols on it, and if it was blocked by an ability, would just break. An energy sword of holy energy was fired between them anyway, forcing Anna to back off. The sword stayed, but anyone touching it would get burned because they weren't a holy user.

"Hey now...don't use saw blade again! This is a sparring match, not a life or death struggle!"

Anna tched and tossed the remains of her staff over her shoulder. She summoned a new one, and infused it with magic, giving it the strength of a zanpakutou. But nothing else. "Fine...come at me again." She was ready. This chick had some strange powers...but she was ready to take them on.

The girl had managed to deter most of the damage of Mei's jutsu and as she fired a saw blade at Mei who's eyes narrowed as she grew serious realizing the danger of the blade. She was suddenly covered in an orange suit and fired a beam equal to a cero made entirely of the ice property at it so that it would be stopped, frozen, and dropped just a few inches before making it to her. Her energy level then spiked up for a minute as she got angry until something split the girls apart and it looked like a sword.

"So she really was trying to kill me during a sparring match!" Mei said with obvious rage as her spiritual power spiked even higher towards it's max, "You want me!? SO BE IT." She wasn't even thinking at this point. "HAAAAAAAAA!" she yelled as she clenched her fists and focused her energy within herself. Her hair raising up in places and becoming slightly spikey and turning yellow as her eyes went blue and her entire body became covered in an aura of yellow light. She had gone super saiyan and Kaiya had literally bit her own hand in the sidelines to keep herself from jumping in to help.

"TAKE THIS!" She yelled as she fired a massive beam of energy equal in power to that of an arrancar's gran rey cero. Sure her spiritual power was weaker than Kaiya's.. but a beam of that strength was still nothing to laugh at even from Mei. Especially considering she put even more of her remaining energy into the beam out of her rage than need be and for the girls, especially Mei, ragequits were the most devastating moments the girls had..

She FROZE the saw blade!? Anna couldn't believe it, and didn't bother with any physical attacks like she had planned. She had little self control in her battles. Though Yuri and the helper couldn't help smile at the transformation. "I see...your powers are either TV show based or video game based." The helper stated.

But Yuri had a bad feeling. He was ready to jump in when the shit hits the fan. And sure enough, it did.

Anna was laughing maniacally. "Seriously? I'm an infighter, a battle mage in the truest description of the term! If you think I have no idea how to deal with a lot of ranged abilities, you're dead wrong!" Twin violet magic circles appeared, and out came a pair of oversized cups. The energy blased went through one and out the other. A white magic circle appeared between the blast and Mei, firing a blast of holy energy of equal strength. The explosion was fairly large, making a good sized hole in the arena grounds.

When the smoke calmed down, the silver haired teenager was between them. "That's quite enough you two. This fight is over. Anyone injured?" Anna's eyes stared at him in pure anger. But let it go and stalked out of the arena. He sighed heavily, thanking the gods she did not attack him. He looked at Mei. "You good? I do have a healing spell..." How he got in was through a different set of white magic circles that were now disappearing. Holy Portal.

Hopefully she would calm down.

Kaiya wasn't by Rui any longer. Nor was Mei where she had fired the beam of energy. Instead both girls were wrestling behind the cocky Annabell as Mei had tried to assassinate her with instant transmission and Kaiya had interfered by going super saiyan! with super strength! to keep her stronger sister at bay and kept talking at her to calm her down.

Someone else had jumped in as well. Someone who managed to cause Annabell to leave the arena allowing Kaiya to calm down her beloved sister, "She'll be fine.." Kaiya said to the nice young man who offered to heal possible injuries. Mei kept quiet and had powered down by this point as did Kaiya. Her hair was covering her eyes and she didn't move beyond what Kaiya was guiding her to do which was go sit down by Rui.

A few minutes later Mei was back to normal, "She didn't have to try to kill me. I can't believe no one else seems to care about that fact." She was more upset now that other than telling Annabell to leave nothing else had happened. No consequence. Nothing. It was incredibly vexing. This was started as a sparring test and a volunteer match. She turned it into a death match because of her own arrogance, "ugh! I can't stand it when people can't spar during a clearly stated sparring match!"

The teenager sweatdropped when she went after Anna. Rui did too, even going into the arena since the barrier was let down. At the comments, the young man grinned. Rui nodded in agreement that it was a good experience. Though he stared at the teenager. "You're not asking them out on a date, are you?" The helper immediately started cracking up in laughter. He was good looking and all.

The silver haired teen stared with a deadpan expression at the little boy. "No. They're too young." Rui gave him his own deadpan expression. "I'm 22."

Rui mouthed a simple "Oh." Then he yelled in surprise. "EEEEHHH!?" He knew spiritual beings often looked younger than their appearances, himself especially. But humans? This guy looked like he was still high school! The teenager looking guy took off a ring...and Rui found out why. An overly excessive amount of reiatsu. Putting the ring back on, he explained.

Rui...kinda dumbly walked over to the girls and hugged Mei. He would follow them. Whether it was just to hang around and research some spells or to head home or to take up the young man's offer of a spar or dinner.
