Fact or Faked? (Kuri and Me ONLY)

Aki was in the park, in a gigai, enjoying the scenery. Through his newspaper, he was keeping an eye on a vizard. They were in the little town of Fort Scott, Kansas, in Gunn Park. She was on the opposite side of the lake, while he was inside one of the shelters. She was alone. Arisu, the daughter of the Soul King. Finally found. But soon lost forever. Hopefully. Somewhere around was Captain Riku Tomoshibi, using bakudo 26: Kyokko on not only himself, but also the fake body. But first, to approach her and not be like a complete and total creeper. He wanted to first understand her before attempting this.

Then he heard a small group of teenagers talking. "Why is that girl dressed like that? Isn't she hot in that?" And so on.

"Hey, ladies, mind me doing me a huge favor?" Aki took off his top hat and took a rose and a letter out of it. "I'm a little shy, and I know what she looks like without that mask and cloak...mind delivering this to her?" He was blushing as well.

The girls agreed and ran off to do it. If Arisu looked over at him, he would give a timid wave and look away, still blushing. Let's see what happens.

The sun was hot on her back, causing sweat to bead on her forehead. The dry air gave no comfort as there was no wind to cool her down. Her cloak was wrapped tightly around her form, hood kept over his head and a mask placed neatly on her face. Not only that but she still wore her heavy clothing underneath the cloak. She was hot and she simply didn't care. Her eyes had slowly fallen shut and she was simply in peace in the hot air. The voices of the normal human discussions floated around her and the sounds of nature filled her ears. It was serene, just hot. But did she really care? No, not really no.

Arisu stood completely still, simply taking in her surroundings with her ears. She stood like that for god knows how long, must've been a long time. When she opened her eyes the sun was significantly further along than it was before. A smile came to her lips and she was just about to get going when a small tug on her cloak caught her attention. She turned her head a little and noticed three young human girls standing behind her. Her smile was gone and her hand was squeezing her Zanpaktō's handle just in case.

"Excuse me ma'am, but that man over there asked us to give you these..." The blonde one in front spoke, holding out a small letter and a flower. Arisu's eyes slowly flickered from the girl to the note and back to over to the male she spoke of. He waved and looked away. Her hand tightened even more, she recognized him from somewhere... But where? "M...Ma'am?" The girl caught her attention once more and Arisu's free hand snapped the letter and flower in record time from the girl's hand. "Beat it, girl... You don't want to be here." Arisu scowled.

As she opened the letter to read it, she kept her focus on the male with her reiatsu. She didn't want him sneaking up on her while she read his note...

Aki watched as she yelled at the kids to beat it. It was true, they really didn't want to be here. The few people around were also leaving, thanks to the captain he got to help with this. She began reading the handwritten letter, which read:

Dear Arisu:

We have a lot in common. We're both nobles, though of different degrees. We don't like our daddies very much at all. And we don't exactly want to be caught by the Gotei 13. Name's Akihiko Iyou, but everyone calls me Aki. Don't suppose you can come over here in the shade and we can talk? And get to know each other? Or I can can go over there, whatever you like.

The man wasn't entirely sure about it. It could backfire and force her to run, and thus force the plan earlier than expected. Or she wouldn't give him the chance to understand her and just degrade into a shouting match...or just not be open about it. Either way, the plan will go through. He just needed to wait a little bit longer before it'll be safe for the populace to do so.

Arisu finished reading the letter and raised an eyebrow curiously at the piece of paper. She then glanced at the flower, tossed it into the water in front of her and looked back at the paper. She closed her eyes and slowly took a breath so she wouldn't simply attack the man for no reason. The name Akihiko Iyou sounded familiar, but she couldn't place where she heard it before. Her eyes flicked to the man sitting there on the bench and studied him for a long moment in time. She then tossed the letter after the flower and walked only half the distance to the man. Her arms crossed as she began to speak to him.

"I know you from somewhere don't I? I recognized your name from somewhere before, I just can't think of where. Do you mind telling me who you really are and beat it, before I simply just leave and forget this exchange ever happened. I don't have much time here anyway, I'll be leaving soon." She said this with a hint of demand in her tone, natural from being a Princess. Her fingers rested lightly on the pommel of her highly decorated Zanpaktō, just in case she had to use it.

Aki jumped at the tone of her voice and cowered away a little bit. "Aw, come on, it's not like this place is attacked by hollow...so it's not like the Gotei are here. Stay awhile. You might have known me as the noble that pranked Central 46 by having crap dump on them! Hence why I'm not exactly welcomed in Soul Society. I was able to find a small snippit about you though. A very powerful noble that didn't exactly get along with her father. Thus you ran away. I did too, though for more than just that one reason. But seriously, no need to be demanding answers like that...can't we just get along and talk, pleeeeaaaaase? At the please part, he bowed his head a little and slapped his hands together, pleading her to be civil.

Though he didn't blame her for being paranoid. Having an entire organization after you can be pretty intimidating. And she hadn't stayed away from capture for this long for no reason. Aki just hoped she'd relax some so that they can tell their stories. Well, his would be mostly made up, and he knew some of hers would be too. To add on to his plea, he spoke some more. "Besides, it's not like I have much power...you could easily kill me if you wanted to..." Another lie. But all seemed very convincing. Unlike with his Squad 12 captain, he didn't feel any guilt, thus none of the signs or indications. Hopefully she would buy it...and then he can understand her and maybe make this worth her while.

Arisu's eyes narrowed as she listened to the male speak. He was slowly getting annoying and not worth her time. However, despite the fact she should just walk away from this annoying tard... She just knew she knew him from somewhere and not where he was saying she would from. She took a single step back, simply to prove a point to the man that she wasn't going to buy any of his crap. "If you really want to talk to me so badly, then you are going to have to tell me the truth about whom you are." When he bowed she rolled her eyes and was about to turn and walk away when he spoke again.

Her eyes studied him for a moment and she gave a light chuckle. "I know how easy it is to hide your reiatsu from another, how am I supposed to know that you are as weak as you say?" She uncrosses her arms, but keeps her hand on her blades handle. "I am not going to stand here and listen to mindless babble, so cut to the chase of what you want and let me leave." She continued to study the man as closely as she could without making it obvious that she was.

Aki frowned. He was afraid of this. "Alright, Arisu. I was hoping we could understand each other first before I go with this plan of mine. You want the truth, how's this. I want to fake your death. The Soul Society can't spend most of it's information gathering resources hunting you down, then sending a veteran captain to take you down and deliver you to your daddy. I understand you two didn't get along well with each other. But I want to know what your other possible reason is before I go through with it. So please, enlighten me. Oh, and no, I'm not the only captain in the area to pull this off."

Throughout his talk, he took a green ball and held it close to his mouth. He continued before she could answer. "This is a gigai, by the way. I was once a noble too. But being the Soul King's daughter couldn't possibly compare to my day. What was it that you lacked so much that you wanted it more than anything and thus ran away from him? I want a resolve to do this, please give it to me." With his free hand, he threw the top hat away. That meant he was serious, though his voice was just as commanding as her's.

Arisu blinked rapidly for a moment, her body lose from her surprise at his statement. If he would to attack at that moment, she'd be lucky if she could even get close to blocking his sword. However, he continued to speak and he wanted his own answers to her own actions. Speaking to her like she was simply a renegade Shinigami, it was brave and bold. Most simply attack her, yet giving her the respect that she didn't want. It made Ari respect the man a bit, but it didn't explain whom he was. Yes he is a Captain of the Gotei, but what Squad was the man commanding? And which Squad was his backup?

He held up a pill that would release him from his gigai and even threw his top hat, an expensive hat to be throwing. He was seriously thinking about defending or attacking. She finally got control over herself and tensed her muscles to the right point to where she looked relaxed, but was ready to fight if needed. She still didn't trust him, respected or not. "You want answers Captain of the Gotei? I'd like some answers too, but I don't seem to be getting any either." She scowled, but continued, "However, I am feeling quite generous today. I had everything you could've wanted, yes, but what is all that worth when you were stuck in one place?" She asked curiously.

"I wasn't allowed to leave the Soul King's Realm for any reason at all, he even brought a Captain from the Gotei to train me there. How ridiculous is that? I wasn't even allowed to join the Gotei, even though I am strong and able... Even though I have their powers. To sum that up, Captain, I wanted Freedom. Freedom was my resolve." She said, her face slowly going emotionless, serious, and ready for a fight.

Aki listened intently. When she was finished, he grinned. "Thank you. Now be ready. Cause I'm not gonna hold much back. Just don't be surprised when you feel something different. This has to be real up until the last moment for it to work. After all, I am facing some major risks attempting this ruse. The captains that are helping me are just following orders, so they're not at risk. Freedom is a precious thing. I can understand that. Akihiko Iyou, the new Captain Commander of the Gotei 13." He popped the pill in his mouth.

Immediately, his soul self was ejected and the gigai ran for the hills. Before Aki did anything to lash out, he clicked a device on his belt, immediately cloaking his shinigami power to that of an arrancar's. The next device he clicked made a transparant cloak/barrier around him, then quickly expanded to 300 yards, not doing anything. Supposedly at least. This prevented anyone from sensing what was going on inside the field. Suspicious, yes, but without hard facts of what was going on inside during the fight, they could only go with what was left over. On the left side of his belt was his twin katana. But he wasn't going to use those yet. His hands glowed with reiatsu. This would allow him to grab even a shikai with very few exceptions. Aki was gonna make this last a bit for it to be more convincing.

He rushed her with a punch aiming for her face. His speed and strength is very high. But again, he was holding back. The brown haired man spun to stap a kick at her back or ribs. Then aimed another punch at her chest or between the shoulder blades.

Arisu raised a curious eyebrow at the mans words, but was quick to draw her sword when he burst from his gigai. He charged forward with only his hands, then again he was the Captain Commander... She was no match for him at all. She was lucky enough to dodge the first punch at her face. As he spun, she did too, pointing the point of her sword at the man's foot as he kicked. So if he did land the kick, he would hopefully impale his own leg. Assuming he didn't impale himself and cotinued with his second punch, she yelped and was tossed a few feet to her left as his fist came into contact with her ribs. She could even feel the blood in her mouth.

When she refocused on the man, she could tell this wasn't going to be easy without releasing at least a little bit. However, she decided to do this fight for real... Since he already knew who she was. "Dorinku za chi hon Kataki, Chishio Maejirase.." As she spoke these words, her reiatsu exploded, tossing her hair and clothes around like she was in a tornado. Ari's sword disappeared into the reiatsu and when it all disappeared, the sword reappeared on her forarm. Duel, jagged blade like claws were extended from her arm.

The girl glared across the area to the CC and spit the blood in her mouth onto the ground. She turned the claws and the blood lifted to a ball hovering in front of her claws. She then raised her arm and slashed out with her claws, the blood slashing out with it. This resembles Ichigo's Getsuga Tenshou, but is merely reiatsu powered blood. This cuts nerely anything her level or lower, in essentiality.

Aki focused his reiatsu to his feet as well, giving him the same type of enhancement as his hands, when he saw her attampt to stop his kick, which diverted the sword so that he could continue with his punch.

It was then she released, and he watched. She spat out blood and turned it into a blast of destruction. Aki put up his arm, creating a reiatsu shield, the last of his two minor energy manipulation abilities. There was a standstill until he tried to knock it away, only causing an explosion and destroying his shield. "Seems I'm underestimating you slightly. Come now, show me what the Soul King's daughter is capable of...I want to at least draw my swords." Aki stalked towards her.

Only to shunpo directly behind her and try to hug her to death. Which if succeeded and she headbutted him with the back of her head, he would let go and stumble back, leaving him open to an attack. If she dodged the attempted bear hug, he would pursue her with an axe kick towards her shoulder followed by a grab for her sword and then tossing her into the small lake. He would then stay there until she came back up and make a move.

The girl stood still and watched for the short time that her blood slash and the man's barrier stood at a stand still. Her own ability astonished her in reality, though she'd never show it, that it'd be that strong... Especially against a Captain-Commander. When the man attempted to push the slash away, it simply exploded into destruction. This she wasn't expecting in the very slightest. Her arms went up in an "x" formation to protect herself until the dust settled. She then opened her eyes and lowered her arms to watch the Commander.

The man spoke, for which she had no reply except a simple smirk. When he shunpo'd behind her, her grabbed and bear hugged her. She turned her head and looked at him, her smirk still there. Arisu twitched her blade arm to slice open her leg and again to wipe part of it onto the Commanders leg. "You ready for your death, Commander?" She said right before snapping her fingers with a crack.

Instantly both of them teleported into the small lake, only waist high, but still in it. They were also still in the bear hug, now causing her to wince a little in pain. "Bankai, Bachiatari-Chishio Maejirase" As she spoke this, once again her reiatsu flared only this time her transformation was a bit more gruesome. Blood exploded from every pore and hole in her body and covered her in it. Blood wings sprouted and the blood seemed to move upwards. (See her app) In addition to her body, every liquid within a 500 yard radius slowly became blood... her blood.

Six blood tendrils sprouted from the lake of blood and stabbed at the Commander, hoping to impale or at the very least have him release her.

At first, Aki was confused when she cut her leg and wiped some of her blood on him. But after that first little attack, he was half expecting it to explode. Instead, they were teleported into the water at waist deep. And interesting development. Unfortunately, he had to jump out and away when she used her bankai. Now, he just drew his top sword, his arrancar feel increasing. But not his second sword, not yet. Though her transformation was rather...gruesome to say the least. Then he started to see the water turning red. Just like in the bible.

He stopped moving up fifty yards away from the small lake, which was entirely blood now. Six tenticles shot out from the lake. In two swift movements, and his drawing his second, widened sword, slashed all six of them, though now the distance between them were halved. He tripled the distance between them. Between that ability and that lake of blood, he wasn't going to get anywhere fast. Something he wasn't anticipating. And he didn't feel comfortable getting closer without his shikai. "Shock and burn: Raikou-Faia!" One sword turned to fire, and the other to lightning. At that point, two passive abilities became active. Every other post, starting with this one, heat increased, increasing the rate of exhaustion by 15%. The next one was his Electro-Detection, which allowed a greator prediction of a person's moves, but only if they're within ten yards of him and only every other post, also starting with this one.

"I was expecting a wide range of abilities...but I certainly wasn't expecting you to turn water into blood and using it. But let's see the limits of your manipulation." He fired a lightning bolt at the blood lake. While blood is a poor conductor of electricity, like water, it was still a conductor. He would keep firing a lightning bolt in the pool, electricuting her, until she moved out of it. Then he fired twin balls of fire and lightning the power of a hado 73, with a one post cooldown. Let's see how she reacts to this...

Her bankai allowed her freedom from the Captains grip, so she turned to face her opponent once more. Her blood covering her body in a gruesome excuse for armor, making her grin a terrible site to see. She watched as the man destroyed her tendrils, which was mildly impressive... However, she got him to draw his second blade didn't she? She at least proved to the Commander that she could force him into using his weapons, that she wasn't weak like her father thought she was.

Something even better, she had him at a distance from her. Meaning that she could use range to her side, make him get closer her lake of blood. A fabulous change of events indeed. When she heard the words escape his mouth and watched his shikai reveal itself, her grin widened. She truely did have skill enough to give the Captain-Commander trouble. Only then would a man that powerful release his Zanpaktō. However, she could feel the temperature in the air becoming increasingly hotter. It was making her sweat already, so she better end this quickly.

"You should be ready for anything, Commander... All Shinigami are different and their powers are all unique." She replied moments before the man fired lightning into the blood. She immediately snapped her fingers and teleported to about a foot above the lake of blood. She used her reiatsu to keep herself in the air. "You wish to test my limits, then let us see how much I make you work."

Six more tendrils exploded from the lake, aiming for each limb, head and his torso. However, it was merely a distraction tool. The girl used shunpo to appear behind the Captain Commander. She raised her hand and made a back hand motion about five feet away from the man. Another one of her blood slashs errupted from her hand at point blank this time, hopefully the Commander couldn't dodge it or block it. However, at the same time she didn't want to actually kill the man. She simply wanted the fight to look as real as it possibly could.

Aki smiled thinly at her. "Indeed. Perhaps my time in prison has dulled my senses a tad bit..." Then she teleported above the pool of blood, and avoided his own fire and lightning blast. "Oh, not that hard. I just don't feel comfortable getting that close to you as long as that lake is blood and you're close to it without my shikai. I don't like taking chances." The man couldn't tell if he sounded confident or indifferent.

She sent out five more blood tendrils at him and shunpoed behind him. It didn't take a genius to figure out what Arisu was going to do. Turning so that she was on his left and the tendrils to his right, along with his fire and lightning swords respectively, he did his counter. His lightning blade seperated into four lightning blades and lengthened them to ten yards, and then having them spin, making an electrical helicopter blade of death, and cutting those tendrils to peices. His fire blade did the same thing agianst the tendril she used as a sword or blade of sorts. One fire blade blocked that just long enough for him to duck, and the other three stretched out as necessary to stab/burn her. Blood was mostly water, so she had an advantage over him against at least one element.

He then slashed at her with all four of the lightning blades. Dodge or block, he would also form a small lightning bomb at his feet and would either kick it at her or let it roll behind him towards her own feet before it'll explode with the power of a hado 33. Not very strong, but every little bit of damage helps. He then fired a ribbon of fire that would set her on fire for three posts...unless she dives into the pool of blood right afterwards if he hits her. Then he slashed at her with all eight of his elemental blades.
