The meeting.

Thanatos walked through the streets of Manhattan along the waterfront, Gazing at the giant copper woman. He would think it a waste of resources, but for the fact that the serion had been prone to creating monuments of their own. Zero had a statue of his own, until Thanatos reactivated him and destroyed it. Now that he was in charge, decisions needed to be made, and Thanatos needed to meet the commander of his enemy, mainly to see the man for himself.

He wondered if Serena told her new leader everything there was to know about Thanatos. It made no odds, since what she knew of him would be wrong. Allot had changed since they'd been on the same side.. She didn't know the extent of his capabilities anymore. But he knew only what information Kos-mos had gathered on Kai, which given that she had been thrashed so abysmally by Kai was not surprising.

Thanatos walked twenty more feet before he began levitating and floated out over the water, his cloak vanishing. It wasn't long before he was spotted, and his sudden appearance, as it moved towards the Statue of liberty, caused panic. But he did not tamper with the structure in anyway, merely landed on the head and stood, looking over the city. Would he come, was the next question, or would he send a task force to try and deal with the Serion leader?

Kai was given the alert while he was enjoying coffee. Just what he needed. But something was off about it. For one, no hostile action had actually occurred. That was about when he was told it was a Serion named Thanatos. Well...that was interesting. He calmly took a boat over there and floated up on a mage disc, landing on the end of the crown spikes. "Pleasure to meet you, Thanatos. I'm Kai Allard-Laio. But I'm sure you already knew that. What's your business here?"

It wasn't in Kai's blood to waste time. He wanted to know exactly why he was here and why the Serion wanted to meet him. At least, that was his thought...why else come here and make it well known that he wasn't here to start a fight? He didn't know much about him...he hadn't had time to ask Serena about him.

Thanatos was becoming less and less optemistic as he waited. Or to put it a better way, he didn't think Kai would show, which surprised him when the man actually appeared and landed on a crown spike of the giant copper statue. Thanatos' only reaction was to face him. Kai spoke, introducing himself. Thanatos gave him a slight nod. "Greetings, Kai allard Liao, of the coalition. Though you know my name I should properly introduce myself. I am Thanatos Arkus of the Arc Mechanica." He said. He glanced around, taking in the view. "First and foremost, I would like to appologies for the rash decisions made by my Former Second in command, Kos-mos. She has been dealt with, severely." He said.

He crossed his arms. "While I am not promising to stop hostilities, I have come to offer you a cease fire. I have things to consider, such as the necessity of such a war. I have to consider the future of my kind, to secure their survival as a race. We serion were built, but we are just as alive as you. Some more than others." He said."You know who I speak of, of course. She is one of a kind." He said. He uncrossed his arms and turned to look out over the ocean.

"fifthy days of peace. That is what I offer. We will not attack you, if you do not attack us. Those under my command will honor this arrangement, they know the cost of disobedience." He said. Turning back to Kai, he locked eyes with the human. "That is not the only reason I came. I wanted to meet you in person, to get your measure as a leader. To see if you can handle everything the universe plans to throw this way."

Kai rose an eyebrow. Of course he knew that. Hell, he had his own killer android made by human hands that's fighting for him. Right at this very moment in fact. And of course, other Serion have shown that just as much as Serena. As the Serion turned his back on him and made eye contact before he could answer, Kai seemed a lot more amused.

"I'll need to call off our assault on your Antarctica base. That's been going on for a little while now. But you'll get your fifty days to consider things. As far as your last comment...can anyone handle everything the universe throws their way? Surely you have an idea about that. Might I assume you'll come to me peacefully again to discuss things or should I expect another sneak attack?" He hoped peacefully, but only time will tell. He didn't know how trustworthy Thanatos was after all.

Thanatos shook his head. He grinned slightly. Or what hopefully looked like one. "I don't there is enough processing power on Asenda Prime to calculate what the universe plans. Your right." He said. "Ah yes, the antartica base. I've already been informed of the ill timed attack. i've never understood the need for a staging grounds so far away from the main fight though." He said. "No, no sneak attacks. we will speak again before fighting continues. I am not an honor less beast like that darkmoon character I've heard reports of." He said. With that he had nothing to add. A short meeting, but with Serion there was usually little chatter.

A portal opened behind him. "Next time I'll send a messanger. I didn't want it getting taken out before it reached you, so I chose a more drastic way to get your attention." No goodbyes, he just left and the portal snapped shut behind him.
