| Altima had been thinking about the current situation of the world and the serion very carefully over the last few weeks and decided it was time to cast her lot with one side or the other. As she was made on Earth it seemed most logical for her to side with the defenders of that earth instead of the aliens wanting to destroy everything. This didn't cause her to avoid Gally however.. as she has clearly shown she is not like most of the rest of her kind, but it did put something of a nag feeling in Altima as Humans were usually more hostile about her own presence than peaceful...
But she had already decided what she needed to at least attempt to do.
So she was now at the front desk of the Coalition building asking politely if one of the Coalition officer's or their second in commands could come and speak with her about a matter regarding the Serion Offensive. The man at the desk didn't seem to keen on trying to pester someone for an official matter until she mentioned the Serions. He immediately hopped on the phone and called for someone to come down after that point.
He then asked her to sit over in the waiting area and someone would come to her. So she did. Wasn't much else going on that caught her interest which made the wait a little boring, but since she was focused and thinking about future plans she didn't feel bored by the time passing.
When someone arrived she'd smile and greet them politely and give them her name if they weren't already aware of it, hopefully they wouldn't ignore her idea and send her away.. but things would happen as they happened and she couldn't do anything to force the issue.

| Jun saw Altima and it clicked who it was that had information or something about the Serions. She caused quite the stir at their airport. Unintentionally...and he had to defuse the situation. "Yo. I'll take you to Kai. Unfortunately, all the officers for the Anti-Serion Corps. are out on missions. Nice seeing you again, Altima." The teenager gave her a his poster boy smile. Then he escorted her directly to Kai's office near the top floor.
The outside door had two guards, who allowed them in without need to say why. Inside, there were four more guards, two by the door, and two more to the left two corners. Kai himself was fairly unassuming, given you ignored his white hair and red eyes. "Greetings, Altima was it? I'm Kai Allard-Laio, CEO and head of the Coalition. You said you had something about the Serions, or some ideas regarding them? I'm all ears." He nodded at Jun to leave the room, who did so quietly. Kai wasn't one to beat around the bush. If this Android had something vital or anything about the Serions, if it's something they didn't already know about, hopefully she'll just outright join. If not, well, that was her choice, but her help would be greatly appreciated.

| "Pleasure to see you again Tomoshibi," Altima replied while getting up and following him all the way to nearly the top of the building where his boss had his office, upon entering she noticed several guards, but it seemed that they were not posted just because she was there as they seemed more ready for anything than just her, "yes my name is Altima, I know quite a bit about you and your coalition as of late, considering I had to protect someone's will from one of your more recently aquired members I had little choice but to learn."
"However I am not here because of that," She said as she pushed up her glasses slightly, "We are both aware that the serion threat is something that must be dealt with as effectively as possible, but I don't see us finding any way to either make them leave or put them at a standstill without one another's help."
She formed a little projector in her hand that showed mostly gibberish but the model presented looked like a backbone version of Altima herself, "To that end I have discovered that while I cannot activate certain parts of my programming manually.. I can at least put forth information concerning it and attempt to have someone else activate those parts." She made the projector device disappear back into her hand, "I have power well beyond my current state that I can only use if I form a contract with another sentient being. However they have to choose which of the three programs remain active during the contract. I can either become much more offensive, become more defensive, or become a battlefield medic it seems. But I cannot figure out how to activate all three at once and have deemed it impossible. Possibly a failsafe on my maker's part."
She removed her glasses and put them in a pocket on her shirt, "Cutting to the reasoning, I have decided to take a side in this invasion and would like to form a contract directly with you concerning how I go about fighting in this war. Though I still refuse to kill anything that isn't doing harm.. I can at least admit that the Serion, for the most part, are an alien incursion that threatens the Earth. Since I am earth-made I have more obligation to your kind than I ever will with the Serion. This seems to be an acceptable exception to my primary directive.. So I shall officially ask you now. Do you wish to form a contract with me so that I may assist in this fight?"

| Kai rose an eyebrow at the complicated machine in front of him. With that kind of programming, there was a lot of flexibility on her. "That's nice to know. Before I make a choice as to which one, is it possible to switch modes?" That would make her a lot more useful in a team fight. Particularly if he was in there. He needed to know the limits of this contract.
As soon as his officers in the Anti-Serion Corps. return, he hope to assault their foothold. Before they fortified it more. Sojourner was able to deal quite a bit of damage before being forced to back off. Poor guy was a mess...thankfully his abilities made him extremely tanky. Altima could be a big part of that plan. The more they attacked, the more recruits they get. But they needed to make a big move...let the world know they weren't going to just be defensive about this.

| She put a her to her chin after he posed his question. She hadn't thought of trying to manipulate the contract system so she wasn't sure, "If it was worded correctly with the first contract.. perhaps I could switch between two at the most.. but I doubt it would be that simple. I would probably run into some kind of limiter since the idea behind the contract system was to keep my powers restricted."
Despite being sure of what she would do with her full powers active at will, it was not inconceivable to think of multiple reasons as to why her maker would fear such a thing. After all at the time her maker was only worried about dealing with human problems. The world has changed drastically since Project Altima started.
"I wouldn't be against someone other than your serion collaborator seeing if they could release the restraints on my abilities but as I said I do not know if it is possible."

| "My idea would work around them...you'd still be limited one mode. Just that you'll switch modes depending what I need at that moment. An attacker, a tank, or a medic. For example, while stationed here in NYC, you'll be our primary medic or be very defensive. Or if I need someone to say, hunt down Serion assassins or stop a force in its tracks, you'll be in your offensive mode. There's a few people I'd trust with that. Our Chief of Research and Development doesn't specialize in robotics, but he's capable. Otherwise there's Katelyn, one of the Anti-Serion Corps officers...though I'm not sure you'll be comfortable having her take a look as she's of the last surviving member of the race that built the Serion in the first place. Alternatively there's a couple of mercenaries. One is more of a hacker than anything, while the other one would be perfect for the job. It's up to you whether you want one of them to check it or not."
Yuri is more of a hacker than anything...Gaige on the other hand...if someone could find a definite answer to his question, it would be her. At least, that would be if Katelyn is out of the question. Which he wouldn't blame Altima for saying no to her. Even if it wasn't the case, he'd take the offensive version. It was time they stopped messing around.

| "As long as it was worded correctly within the terms of the contract this would not be an issue. I do not detect anything that would cause this to fail as long as I remain within one mode." She said as she raised a hand to ahnd shake, which if taken, would immediately start hyper communication between the two via a form of telepathy, finishing the contract process to Kai's specifications.
Afterwards, "I don't mind who looks at me. The inventor of the Serion would not be objected since she herself is not the invaders that threaten us but a victim as we are."
She had been thinking about this for a long time. There was very little that could occur to stop this from completing at this time.

| Kai took the hand and worded the contract to his liking. Confirming the limits and the modes. For now, she'll be in defense mode until more of the ASC officers return home. Then he'd want her to be in the offensive mode to attack their base in the Antarctic. At least that was the plan. He may not have to wait that long for it though. "It's purely up to you. Since I was able to do what I wanted to do, I don't think it's necessary. Normally, we'd do a test fight to see how you compare, but I think I'll give this a slide. Soon as at least two ASC officers return, I'll have a mission for you. For now, get yourself acquainted and relax while you can. I'm sure Jun can entertain you for a bit...or his antics will."
At that moment, a loud voice sounded throughout the building and probably the block. "BLONDIE!!" This caused the white haired man to facepalm.
"For f*ck's sakes they were getting along perfectly for only a couple months, why couldn't it have been longer?" Kai asked no one in particular that rhetorical question. "Exuse me, but it seems I have work to do...or assigning some people to do some work..." And he went at it, trying to get a hold of Alistair Druine and Alexander Kerensky to stop their "kids" from tearing the building apart over something most likely Jun did...
