Reunion

"We're live in downtown New York where several explosions have been taking place over the last half hour. It seems a group of people have been fighting each other in a battle to the death. We can't get any footage of this however because There seems to be a concentrated Blizzard obscuring the fight itself.," another explosion occurs nearby, "But as you can see this is definitely not a hoax." The sky grew black as a dark shadow covered the sky where the sun was being seen. Casting shade across the entirety of the battlefield in question, "And now the sun is being blocked! Honestly why do these people find it necessary to fight here!?" The anchorman exclaimed before the camera was shut off by a ricochet'd piece of ice.

More sounds of blades clashing were heard loudly as Rena blocked Shira and Aner Lisola's Zanpaktou.with her now twin bladed Zanpaktou. Shira's body fired out ice shards which were countered by water drills before they could reach Rena and Shira just kept applying Pressure to Rena's weapon so that she couldn't risk moving it.

Kaze simply stood there with his arms crossed as he observed. He didn't see a need to get involved yet and this would be the perfect chance for his two daughters to prove themselves. He no longer considered Rena his child since she refused to follow darkness as he did. As her daughter did. As her hollow self did.

Rena fired a red laser from her free hand at Aner by using the Kidou Jūgeki Byakurai which forced the Vasto Lorde to back off or risk being damaged, as she could not yet reabsorb another energy attack, giving Rena the reprieve she needed to tip her Zanpaktou to the side and parry Shira right into a kick to her stomach which sent her flying but caused dark ice bones to try and spike into her leg for the effort.

Rena, knowing full well the abilities of her child and being more concerned with Aner who was in a new form, had protected her leg with a silently cast El Escudo. Keeping the spikes from hurting her and allowing the kick to still send the child bouncing and skidding off the street several times.

She was not sure she could keep this up forever.. and if her father decided to jump in things would begin to go very badly very very quickly..

The girl that was bounced was unknowingly being bounced towards a six foot tall man armed with two metal tonfas and a Coalition issued pistol. The guy had sky blue eyes, silver hair, and was well built. Once she got close enough, the man swung his tonfas at her. If he hit her, he'd encompass a type of Lightning Cage around her that would last for two posts. And should she try to get out of it physically, get electrocuted all the while.

He fired a jet stream of water at the Vasto Lorde. He didn't know how this blizzard would affect his water abilities. If it did hit, unless the hollow had an average hierro, it would scrape off skin and cause bleeding. Dino Tomoshibi calmly walked up to the shinigami, firing two lightning blasts, each comparable to a hado 31, at the Vasto Lorde, hopefully making her back off. Once he got to Rena he spoke. "If you want some turret support, take it ten blocks further north. My fellow officers are getting people to back off and evacuate. The Coalition has sent someone too...I guess they only did so after checking their strength...Which do you feel more comfortable fighting?" Like other police, he had a badge and a name tag...which said Dino Tomoshibi.

But he hoped that reinforcement would hurry the hell up!

A bone cracking sound was made as dark ice bones jutted to pad her lower back from being hit by a metal tonfa as she caught her footing. The shards crackled but didn't shatter before pulling back in like nothing happened. Focused on her Mother she didn't even pay attention to the man who caused a lightning cage around her. Being too focused for her own good she ignored it and shunpo'd right out of it causing it to electrocute her though she seemed to shrug off the damage since she hadn't taken much so far. Bringing her once again in striking distance of Rena right as Aner was forced to turn and block water attacks with bala from the new man.

Unlike Shira who lacked the expertise to change targets unless ordered Aner recognized the threat and fired multiple cero in rapid succession at the man up until she had fired ten. Leaving that hand steaming but unharmed from the massive discharge. Right before getting hit by two lightning bolts she hadn't noticed while aiming her rapid cero. Growling she spat at the ground and charged the man who was now near Rena.

Who, being Rena, had just blocked Shira's strike with a now single edge katana looking weapon and parried Shira's weapon up. Rena's muscles bulged slightly and her free hand home-runned into Shira's gut creating a loud sickening crack as Patoh-pa was used to hit the girl ridiculously hard once more hurling her out of the fray.

Dino, who Rena recognized vaguely from Jun's mentioning, managed to get to her and speak about the battle, but all it did was make her shake her head, "If we move it he'll get involved to stop us from leaving this area. These two aren't worrying me though it's vexing that they seem to be so coordinated. If Kaze gets involved all hell is going to break loose. I've got my hands full just keeping these two from kicking my butt."

As she finished Aner had reached the two and swung a cold arc with her zanpaktou at full strength, However Rena had already stabbed her Zanpaktou into the ground in front of her, pulled both hands back to her waist and bent her arms before thrusting them both out together and firing a Hadou no 63 Raikouhou straight at Aner in an attempt to knock her out of the fight, unfortunately it was countered by a lightning bolt of similar strength from the side as Kaze intervened to keep his precious tool from losing an advantage against Rena and this newcomer, but aside from that he still hadn't moved from his position.

This left Rena little option but to spin and kick the side of the girls weapon forcing its tip to the ground while leaving her foot frozen in ice. Though she quickly used her spiritual energy to free herself and fired Kongōbaku at Aner to force her to back off. The glowing red sphere being strong enough that even with Aner cutting at it with her weapon she was still knocked on her back for a moment.

"As I said.. we'd be better off waiting for the back up. This isn't going to go anywhere fast." she said bluntly as she pulled her zan out of the ground and retook a defensive stance, "I remember the city having defenses. I would have move this fight out of town if it were within my power."

The hollow rapid fired ten cero, the end result being a smoking hand. He batted away the first two, dodged the next three, blocked four with an electrical shield, which shattered the shield, and took the last one like a champ. Granted, the first two he batted away didn't do nothing to him...his sleeves were nearly gone on the sides with heavy bruising on his flesh. After a bit of talking, an opportunity arose. After the shinigami knocked the hollow down with a kido spell, he followed it up with a barrage of water bullets, each the power and speed of a bala. A good two dozen.

"So would I, but we don't always get what we want. I'll take the hollow then...don't hold back..." As he said that, he powered up, his vest being much more clear and covered his shoulders in addition to his torso. Electricity surged between light-poles that fired at her. He threw one of his tonfas at her as she dealt with those. Dino pulled out his pistol and fired four shots.

"Hold back? What in the nine hells makes you think I could bother holding back against people this strong?" Rena snapped at him before having a dawning thought moment happen. She hadn't ever gone at absolute full with the intent to die... not willingly. She had never once used everything she had without saving anything in reserve so that she could live past the fight. She had always held back.

Always.

She had been avoiding this fight and many others knowing that she would die if she took them up.

But this was her problem and her fault. She could have killed Aner when she had the chance years ago once she got over her ROS disease.. and never did. She could have killed Shira when she went to find her in Hell and found her to be completely lost to hell's evil and Kaze's will and she couldn't. She could have killed Kaze while he was a vizard and purified his soul with her zanpaktou so that he could not have become a sinner and become an even greater threat to the world.

And she didn't.

In that singular moment something Dino Tomoshibi said came across slapping Rena across the face like a ton of gold bricks and put major perspective on most of what Rena had done with her long life.

She grinned slightly and grabbed his shoulder from behind lightly, "Yeah.. Sorry about that.. I won't hold back any longer.." She said politely before gripping his shoulder and forcibly tossing him behind her with so much force that not only did the strong man have no say in the mater it probably damn near crushed his shoulder in the process if he attempted to stop her at all, "Run away Human. This is a battle of Monsters.." She said looking back at him still smiling softly while her spiritual pressure became that of an ocean washing over the battlefield with it's thickness and power, "MY family troubles.. Blackwind's Legacy.. My Sins.. My Heroics.. They all end here.. now.."

She looked back at Aner, Shira, and Kaze who had powered up and was now paying attention due to the outstanding power spike put out by Rena, "We are a disease.. We destroy the world around us.. I will end this now.." She pulled her hand holding her zanpaktou to the side and it formed into a slimey ball that she merely crushed in her hand as tightly as she could forcing her hand to bleed. This act further intensified the vast ocean of energy covering the area as even her zanpaktou spirit, appeared, nodded at Rena, and took hold of the hand that was bleeding and holding the physical body of the spirit in it.

"Stop her!" Kaze barked with sudden desperation and fear, having realized what Rena was about to do, as he fired the biggest most powerful bolt of lightning his sinner body could produce right at her. Being joined by Aner firing more cero and Shira hurling waves of darkness and water at her mother.

Rena just glanced back at Dino Tomoshibi and flashed that same arrogant grin she always had, "Tell that brat of yours............." She looked back at the attacks headed for her and her zan spirit, "I"m not coming back this time.."

The attacks never connected.
The sounds of everything else, the blizzard, the sirens, the screaming from citizens, the fires caused by the fighting...everything.. paled in comparison to what transpired next.
Rena Lisola, Teacher of Jun, Ally of the Kishimasuku, Friend of the Coalition, Soldier of Gotei, warrior of justice, was gone.

In that moment she ignited the very essence of her spirit and that of her zanpaktou who willingly joined her in the final moments. The explosion that happened left a blank sphere of nothing in it's wake in the city of New York, the shockwave was like an earthquake magnitude of 10 had erupted, the sound was mind boggling, and power felt during the release could drive a lesser being to their knee's in worship.

But Dino Tomoshibi survived to see it all, hear it all, watch it all. Rena had diverted just enough of her released power to shield him.. as her final act of good. He was on his ass ontop of the only thing remaining in the giant sphere of totally disintegrated area that was now in the city.

Luckily.. Humanity was very good at rebuilding lost buildings and such.

But there was nothing bringing the Lisola family back from that explosion. Not even a god.

(I had sudden inspiration in the middle of the night. So sorry I hijacked the thread and turned it into my four way self kill moment. But hey. Thats 3 less threats and four less characters I have to worry about now. I have one in mind to replace Rena as my main.. but thats still a work in progress and I'm not even worried about that atm.)

Something he had said must have switched something on in her. Dino watched as the Shinigami...did something and essentially won the fight. Though it did seem to have sacrificed herself as well. The area was devastated...but no one was close enough to it. Or something else had blocked the earthquake and destruction. His answer landed beside him. Kai stared in awe as well. "Guess this is what I get for being late..."

The police officer said nothing, but did nod. Putting his tonfas on his belt, he gave the Shinigami a salute. From one warrior to another. But men turned to check up on things when they felt something...forming. But turned around, sword and tonfas drawn to witness the creation of a new being. A complete oddity...like energy given physical form...

The tall figure landed in the wake of destruction that did occur and merely looked around in confusion for a second while his fragmented memories caught him up to speed, "I see.. This destruction was of my own making." As he scanned the area he noticed two people, humans according to his memories, watching him. He stepped forward leaving a footprint in the concrete remains he was on and then appeared in a blurrish flash right in front of the two, "Hello.. my name is..Kras.. Kras Arks.. It is a pleasure to meet you."

He was finished compiling the information within himself and figured he was being polite now. So he just awaited for them to introduce themselves, despite him knowing who they were, and wanted to see how things played out in his first encounter with another sentient being.

The energy formed into what looked like a man. But it was still energy. But seemed like a non-hostile. Both men looked at each other before standing down. "Kai Allard-Laio. And I would argue three-fourths of you were responsible for this mess while the other fourth tried to stop it...and caused as much damage as a prolonged fight anyways. I'm sure something can be arranged to make sure you don't go to jail for a very long time..." Kai looked at Dino once again.

"This is something outside of my jurisdiction. It wasn't completely intentional, and the damage was the result of a good Samaritan stopping people she knew. I doubt a situation like this has come up yet here in the States, but others have laws that would acquit the new being formed from others if they were completely new and was hardly anything like the original beings. Some extensive testing would have to prove that." The officer told both of them.

Kai had no doubts this new being was completely different from the four people that were responsible for this. A blending of personalities had a tendency to make the new being completely separate from the originals. Darkmoon had proven that already.

Kras looked upset at the implication, "I am a being of pure reishi or..energy.. as you call it.. If I were to guess.. I am almost like a shinigami as far as I can tell.. except I may form my own body as similar as a shinigami's gigai without an outside aid.. except I am not of divine lineage or order. "

He rubbed his chin as he was basically threatened with prosecution without fairness. Even should he prove himself there would be no total way to be truthful and prove he was not an amalgamation. He was. He just happened to be his own being that he needed time to figure out what he wanted and why.

Time he was not going to be given. Time he must have. Or else he will have nothing to offer outside of the residual psychic and spiritual imprints of the four who died here this day. He frowned slightly, "It seems I must first do.. wrong. In your eyes. Before I will have the proper time to decide for myself who and why I am. You are talking of immediate action when I have had almost no time to decide my own self and future goals."

he snapped his fingers as a dimensional gateway appeared within an inch of his back a one person one way portal that would put him randomly on the plane he chose to flee to.. While he just waved with his other hand and hopped backwards. The gate closing the instant his body cleared the gateway. He chose to stay on the Living plane and was thus transported to a random city on earth.
