| As I am writing this I'm dying over here! So I'm going to try to make this not super long. Hello everyone! I just joined and I kinda feel like changing my user name to something else. But I'll deal with that later. I've rped before, just not a forum that has set a detailed, higher-than- the-ones-I've-been-on-before bar. Always worried about character development and I still am. I've been rping for 6 years on forums and chatboxes. So many rules I've known, but never really seen it as detailed as it is on here before.
I'm wondering if I can start off with a character with no powers and then RP her getting powers?
Hopefully I can get a character done within 3-5 days. I'm in college got finals to do like really really soon. It would've been a good idea to wait until after finals was over to join this site, I admit but I'm impatient today due to the heat.
I do have a basic concept of what I want my character to be.
"A cosplayer aiming to be a idol in a girl group. Having strong legs. Fairly high stamina, able to run long distances. Optimistic and is very nice to anyone that claims to be her fan. Not a fan of someone acting like and thinking they're good when they're not. This teen knows she can be selfish and she doesn't really care. Yet seeing action or being provoked to fight turns her into a more blood lusting character who loves to see blood, make people think their winning in order to crush their hopes and just defeating people in fights. She loves her clothes, make-up and hair. And she loves getting clothes and new make-up, selfish enough to use persuade people to get her them. She loves parties and being in a crowd...well in the middle being the spotlight while a crowed watches her. She doesn't like rejection. She's not a big fan of furries but loves dressing up as a bunny girl. She doesn't mind walking around town practically naked cosplaying as some character wearing nothing but a bra and very short shorts. Doesn't study, is lax going when it comes to school work and still manages to get A and B mostly, with sometimes a C. However could be a straight A student if she just worked harder."
Basic. (Well to me it is.) Probably would've been best if I just listed it out like 1, 2, 3. And this will probably change later. The heat's making me lazy, I will not actually write the application like the text above. Which I thank you if you read it because I know it must be quite boring.
Okay, this is long enough. I'm dying in this heat! I wish it was winter!

| Hello there Tea. I'm Zenke. Very nice to meet you. To answer your question, yes of course you can start with no powers and slowly learn to use them. I suggest making a human for this particular character. It seems to fit with your character's concept the best. Out of all the races they have the most freedom for powers. I have one with just guns and cybernetic enhancements. They can also start young, unlike most of the other races which have minimum ages. Quincy would be a second best, because they're also human and allot of their stuff has to be learned in rp. Again, I have a very inexperienced Quincy in training.
In terms of starting with no powers, I do suggest having at least the first set of powers filled out on your app. You can then slowly learn about them in rp, and don't need to keep getting changes approved until you reach the higher stages. Just because you have them doesn't mean your character knows about them after all. XD Well enjoy. If you need any help feel free to pm staff or ask on the chat.

| @Zenke Thank you! I was thinking about making her human. Though due to me mostly only reading Bleach wikia articles and not the manga. (Specifically articles of Orihime, Unohana, Yoruichi, Urahara, Byakuya, Shunsui, Shunhei, Noba, Shinji, Ulquiorra.) Wasn't too sure which race would apply (besides the obvious). So it was very helpful.
Oh my, thinking up of powers. In my very hot house......finishing up my character too. o.o I'm just going to give a warning now (and later on my app). That I'll be going slow over here. I'm kinda heat sensitive.
@Kazama Yes. | |

| We have the details only to make sure the environment is as friendly and BS-free as humanly possible. As long as you don't intend to make yourself that person that dodges 100% all the time without fail even if it's physically impossible and 100% one shots people all the time (Neither case would be approved on an app anyways but still) you'll be fine.
On that note welcome to Era X

On that note welcome to Era X That's totally not me. I've met and rped with people like that it was boring and a bit frustrating how I let myself get hit at times (when it made sense) but they didn't. Plus RPing is boring if someone wins and doesn't get injured a bit all the time.
