Soul Society Reclaim Part 2, Boldly They Rode

The woman laughed as she sensed Elayne finish the zombies off with ease and had earth come up and surround her so that she could easily escape the lightning box (trollolol) before sinking INTO the ground for a moment and vanishing from view just as Elayne made it to her and destroyed the area the Maggot used to be in only to reveal nothing as the maggot leader had used Earthen Escape to move at Shunpo Speed under the ground and show up directly behind Raiden in a big burst of earth shards aimed to strike at him.

"You are fast I'll give both of you that. But I have more than enough tricks to deal with what I've seen so far!" She exclaimed as she flicked an arm at elayne's direction and sent a giant boulder at her only for it to be split into a hundred tiny bullet like pebbles scatter shotting at her a second later while she stomped a foot towards Raiden to launch another volley of earthen spears at him.

"I won't be beaten by you! Not the same filth that led to my capture! Not you vicious savage vizards!" She screamed as she entered her Toukai for the second time of her life, "Render the earth and scorch all life! Izukanerun!" upon entering toukai her body was engulfed in a fire tornado which she then used to try and tackle Raiden with while launching molten-flaming earth balls at Elayne.

(Scott) Still running with Riku and Diath.


Gráinne had seen enough. She waited until the woman finished unleashing her latest salvo, before lifting her kidou and stepping out to confront her. "I'm afraid you'll need more than tricks and rage to win here today." Gráinne fixed her gaze on the Maggot Leader, her yellow eyes glowing slightly. "I'm afraid we don't have the time for diplomatic niceties, so I will be brief. As Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13, I ask you to surrender. Or, you will die. Toukai, Amee-culos Shunoros!" The young raven-haired Shinigami drew herself up to her full height and entered Toukai. Fire enveloped her from the waist down, and her sword was replaced by a pair of blades, one made of fire and the other made of razor-sharp wind.

(Assuming the Maggot Leader does not surrender. If she does, skip to below.) Gráinne listened to any verbal response the woman put forth, but remained unmoved. Then, when the talking was done, she jumped up and away from the woman, taking the fight to the air. She then barraged the woman with 15 small fireballs, each with the damage of a cero. They are not very accurate, being used for suppression rather than damage.

(If, for some reason, the Maggot Leader does surrender) Gráinne walked over to the woman and swiftly detached her head from her shoulders with a quick, final slash with her blades.

*Riku*

The young captain frowned when two guests arrived with him to escort him. "I know you two have better things to do. Like dealing with the rest of the maggots like Aki. I'll be fine...finish them off first, then go to the Captain Commander and the Maggot Leader." He was annoyed. They needed to finish them off now! And he needed to get to Aizen before he escapes so that he can seal his ass up permanently!

*Jensen vs. Maggot*

The maggot simply rose an eyebrow. But wasn't surprised at all. The boss lady had achieved that form as well. He merely shrugged and waited. The man dealt with his creation with a black hole. That was interesting...made him glad of his power right then. Then the guy summoned a spear. The maggot laughed. As if it could hurt him. He thought very wrong when he tried to block it and was torn to pieces. With the man dead, Jensen would be sent back to where they were.

Some of Riku's troops and their own had encircled a group of maggots with Jensen in the middle, with raised eyebrows. The maggots attacked the captain...

*Big Group Fight*

She escaped it with earth...the boy mumbled something about asshole earth users and disengaged hs ability. It appeared he had gotten hit and stabbed, but it soon faded to show his jacket that was underneath his armor was all that was gotten. He himself behind her, and fired a dozen lightning bolts at close range as he slammed his scythe blade at her.

He'd backed off, and materialized an electrical sheild to block the earth spears. Then she gave a speech and went all out. Rai frowned, his emotions conflicting. He didn't like to combine his mask and bankai...but she was not the type to just stop either. His mask appeared and black lightning immediately surrounded him. Sacrificing a third of his mask, the little vizard smached right into the raging leader, but was overpowered and pushed away, his clothes catching on fire some.

Rai quickly put that out. And heard the Captain Commander out. Donning an elecritcal armor that reduced his speed a little, but gave him some additional protection, he was ready to continue to fight...

Jensen shook his head. "Fool. You didn't have to die like that." He said as he returned to ss. He returned surrounded by people who instantly attacked him. Jensen was still at his peak, given that he'd done very little fighting so far. The small fry didn't stand a chance, he tore them to pieces. "Form up. Its not over yet, you all need to keep fighting. Just a little more, and it'll be over." He said to the astonished group of shinigami around him. Jensen turned towards his commander. He would be with her soon, but first, he was going help break the maggots forces.

"Listen closely now. I'm going to go all out and hit them. keep back, because this will be dangerous. When I withdraw, move in. You'll all be able to finish this then." He said. His armor started to glow, and then suddenly wings of golden energy burst from his back. He shot away from the group and insane speeds, crashing into maggot forces. The didn't know what hit them, as wave upon wave of energy tore from Jensen's sword.



"My sister already game me my Orders Captain. and besides, I can feel Captain Reinhart behind us, he's got it covered." She said, a maggot lunged at the captain and she struck him in the side with her spears, driving him away and killing him. Then she kept running.


Elayne dodged the attacks. "You call us filth but your a bad lady. You weren't locked up for no reason, your a criminal, you can't really judge us." She replied as she zipped in between the attacks. Elayne prepared to attack again, when Gràinne showed up. Elayne watched the graceful shinigami approach and tell the bad lady to stop, or die. Elayne jumped back and stood next to the captain commander and watched.

(For the sake of sanity I'm going to speed this up)

She dodged the captain commanders assault using earthen spikes and her own fists only to be cut in half by the unexpected power strike from Elayne a moment later.

As soon as the maggot leader died an explosion happened in the Cell area and Aizen's laughter could be heard from the battlefield, "So that woman finally died.. Now I am FREE." He stepped out onto the battlefield only to see two captain level vizards present as well as a shinigami who was even stronger than they were, "Fleas. Insects, Merely fit for the slaughter. You stand before a GOD!"

Without even thinking about his weakened state or his own defense, as he was seemingly immmortal and had a severe superiority complex left wounded by Ichigo, he charged in for the attack forming his sword in his hand with little effort as if it had been waiting for him all along. He struck first towards the closest of the three Elayne with enough power that if blocked she would have easily slid back a few dozen feet, or left a giant crater in place of where she used to be if she dodged.

Then he would have struck against anyone else nearby wildly and with all the power he could muster swinging his sword around like a half crazed maniac. Though Aizen was an intelligent person, he seemed to have disregarded thoughts of defense and strategy after aquiring the mastery of the Hōgyoku. The source of his power. That would most likely be his downfall again.

Scott watched, impressed, as Diath swiftly dealt with a goon that was foolish enough to attack. They soon arrived at the Maggot's nest, just in time to hear an explosion within. "It appears we're out of time."


Gráinne's attacks were blocked and she prepared for her next salvo, only to be taken by surprise as Elayne cut the Maggot Leader clean in two with an attack that Gráinne somehow managed to not see. The Maggot Leader's remains fell to the ground with a splat. Suddenly, there was a large explosion, coming from the direction of... Aizen's cell. "No. It can't be. He's escaped." The young girl looked around at the others, trying to hide her fear. "Raiden! Elayne! Aizen must not be allowed to leave this building. We have to buy time for Riku to get here. All other concerns are secondary. You understand me?" There was just enough time for them to respond before the greatest enemy the world had ever faced appeared. Aizen was livid.

Aizen went straight for Elayne with a vicious swing of his blade. Gráinne was in the way in a heartbeat, blocking the blow with her own blades. The force behind the attack carried through and sent the young Captain-Commander sliding along the floor for a few yards. Recovering swiftly, Gráinne back-flipped and landed on her fire dress. She then dispelled her wind blade for a moment. diverting energy into her flame blade, she launched 3 slashes at Aizen. Each slash is made of fire and is equivalent to a Gran Rey Cero in strength and speed. Gráinne then re-summoned her wind blade and prepared for the response.

*Riku*

The young captain and the reached the outer boundary when the felt it. Riku's eyes narrowed and his jaw clenched. He felt Aki putting out more power, seemingly determined to wipe out the remains of the Maggots. He felt Jensen coming in as well. "Go on ahead. Both of you are faster than me. Keep him contained and wear him down! I have something to eliminate him as a threat, but I can't use it if he's even at half his power!"

*Rai and gang*

Rai wanted to hug Elayne at her feat. Only that hope was shattered when he felt their worst nightmare. And soon saw him. The Storm of Destruction darted to the side and fired a dozen lightning bolts at the man while closing the distance before he could attack Elayne. Grainne had took the attack for his sister as he smashed his scythe on the man's head. He would then spin around his weapon to kick the man in the face and fire a cero.

The boy soon backed off and fired another cero, and a third not even a second later. Just to add to the power that the Captain Commander had fired.

Elayne moved without realizing, slicing cleanly through the woman with her Rapier before she could attack Gràinne back. She stopped, shocked by her own actions. She'd never struck to kill before, ever. Raiden was right, she was much softer than him. She stared at the blood on her weapon, dizzy. She felt sick, even. Her moral crisis came at a bad time though, as there was an explosion, and she was attacked without realising it was even happening.. But Gràinne was there, blocking the blow for her. Elayne took a few steps back but didn't attack.


Jensen's cuts tore through the maggots cleaning a path for the rest of the troops to swoop in and tidy up. But then there was an explosion in the distance, and he looked up, armor shining. Like a burning bolt of light, he shunpo'd across the battlefield, towards the direction of pure dread that could only mean one thing. He passed out captain Riku and the others and burst into the nest where  the other's faught. There were several booms as they unleashed attacks on Aizen, and as the explosions died away Jensen dashed in between aizen and the captain commander, slashing across his midriff. He slid to the side and aimed a cut for the 'gods' sword hand, hoping to take the blade away from him. Then he cut low at the leg, unleashing a cero powered cut of energy with it.


Diath blinked as something shot past. "Was that Jensen?" She said. She shrugged and looked to Riku. "As you wish. Don't worry, you dont know her yet, but my sister is a great person and even greater leader. We will stop him. Just be ready with that seal." Diath nodded to scott, and then burst ahead, running as fast as she could since her shunpo was slower than her actual speed. They joined battle and she shouted her bankai, and as Jensen left an opening she launched her yellow spear from her hand with the power and speed of a cero at Aizen.

Aizen laughed as he was struck repeatedly by what felt like powerful attacks. It amused him that the little worms thouight they could defeat him. "FOOLS!" He cried out in devilish glee, "What part of Immortality do you not understand!?" His body looking ragged and torn by their assault started easily and quickly putting itself back to normal and he simply smiled as he looked at them all. Only to notice one of them having what seemed to be a mental break down. Smart as Aizen was he put two and two together and it made him laugh a long drawn out laugh, "I may not have the Hogyoku but I am still powerful! OBSERVE!"

Then he blitzed, using Shunpo rapidly, Elayne and tried to flay the skin from her ribs with a swipe of his now swordless hand in an attempt to end her life, as it had disintegrated during the attack having been formed of his own energy, while his free hand opened a black box around Raiden which quickly tried to box him in. Should it succeed it would have lacerated him from head to toe because it was Hadou no 90 Kurohitsugi. He then fired four bolts of lightning at Grainne before firing a giant blue ball of energy at Elayne using that same hand and waited to see if any of his attacks had made any real damage. He felt their spiritual powers still so they weren't dead, at least for the moment, but he didn't know how much if at all they had been damaged.

Scott tore into the Maggot's Nest like he had been fired out of a howitzer. He too shouted his Bankai release as he entered, his hair turning bright golden and standing on end. He launched his Crescent Wave, slashing down with his sword and sending a curved yellow wave of energy equivalent to a Gran Rey Cero at Aizen. He then dodged around to try and stay close to Gráinne.

Gráinne watched as most of the attacks hit. Normally it would be strange to see a combatant show such a blatant disregard for their own safety, but Gráinne knew from reading about Aizen's history in class that, such was the power of the Hōgyoku and the control that Aizen wielded over it, during his battles with Ichigo Kurosaki and members of the Gotei he tended to fight with reckless abandon, safe in the knowledge of his apparent "immortality". Gráinne wondered if they could use that somehow, but for the moment he was still fending off some of the strongest fighters in existence. Aizen regenerated swiftly.

Gráinne yelled to Diath and Scott, her normal calm and serene demeanor giving way to a cold determination. "Scott! Diath! Where is Captain Riku? We can't hold him like this!" She was interrupted by an array of lightning bolts heading her way. She swept them away with swings of her blades. One of them struck her on the hand however, and she recoiled slightly. The current caused her hand to twitch for a second or two, but she soon regained control. She took a higher vantage point and began forming her Fire Tornado. It needed a moment to form, so she needed help. "Jensen! Raiden! Cover me!"

Raiden's durability wasn't particularly good, but it also wasn't terrible. His lightning armor also helped in mitigating the damage. Still, he was bleeding everywhere. He heard the order though. Twirling his scythe above his head, he also yelled at Elayne. From the scythe came dozens upon dozens of lightning bolts, covering the Captain Commander. "Snap out of it Elayne! We need you!" He had to stap her out of it before he really decided to do something reckless...

Riku showed up not long after, just a couple minutes after Diath and Scott joined the fight. His power shifted, changing his outfit. Wearing a heady sweatshirt and jeans, it appeared he had no weapons to defend himself with. In reality, he had twin blades hidden underneath. It also started to snow lightly. Three of the humongous snow flakes burst into spiked balls of ice that then fell on Aizen. Along with a lightning bolt. His toukai.

The small boy clasped his hands together, index and middle finger up on each hand like a ninja. His pendant started to shine brilliant gold as he started to chant his spell. Producing a magic circle directly below Aizen. But it wasn't the only thing that will be happening with the spell, but he needed time to implement it...

As Aizen leaped at Elayne he seemed to have completely ignored Jensen, who Shunpo'd infront of the girl, slamming his shield into the man's hand as he attacked. He continued to block the blows, grimacing at the force. Jensen moved to intercept the giant ball of energy though he realised that attack was overwhelmingly powerful, however a wall of energy burst up before him, blocking it. He looked back at Elayne who'd obviously cast bakudo 80, and nodded to her. She nodded in reply.

Jensen rushed Aizen again, getting between him and Grainne. He continued to slash vigurously, firing off bursts of energy as his armor began to glow brighter, the energy burning almost white now. Elayne kept back, and cast a complex kido of her own making. twenty ribbons of bright light shot at Aizen and each attempted to wrap around a body part, not trying to bind him, but shred his flesh. She seen the kido he cast At raiden, and dashed forward, yellow energy filling her sword. Thrusting it forth, the kido was shattered by her Shatter ability, Giving Raiden long enough to dash away.

Diath fell back. She felt useless in a fight like this, but she seen captain riku arrive, and decided it would be best if she defended him. She summoned back her yellow spear and waited.

Aizen was stopped multiple times from doing as he pleased and it began to annoy him. He still thought himself overly superior to these wretches and flaunted all of his remaining power in an attempt to prove it. only to be bombarded again by assaults that he took head on due to his immortality and god complex which got him cut to ribbons by both weapons and kidou alike. He stopped suddenly however as his currently weakened body pulsated in displeasure of his activities as he recovered once again to peak condition. It seemed he was not yet capable of fighting all of these people at one time as he could have in the past and that reality started to sink in.

and it drove him berserk as he finished healing.

He flailed angrily at everyone and everything as fast and as powerful as he could muster but he was quickly beginning to realize he was freed only to be imprisoned by the new generation of Shinigami..

"CURSE YOU ALL" He screamed as he launched several beams of energy from his body hurling one or two at each of the combatants nearby in an attempt to rid himself of them. He was now fighting defensively as well for now there were several orbs of energy circling around him as he contemplated his next move. He sensed the build of spiritual power from one of the shinigami, suspected it as Kidou, and decided that that Shinigami must die immediately.

Upon this realization Aizen shunpo'd several times towards Riku firing off energy blasts at him while doing so.

Gráinne finished charging. The tornado whipped up and began to follow Aizen as he moved around. "Clear the way!" The tornado then infused with fire and became a travelling vortex of devastation. Aizen was moving too fast though, so something needed to be done about that. She concentrated fully on the task, keeping the tornado moving while muttering the incantation. "Bakudo #79, Kuyō Shibari!" Eight black holes that emitted spiritual energy appeared around Aizen, with a ninth black hole manifesting in the center of the his chest if the spell connected. He would then be severely immobilized. If this ploy succeeded, she would then simply direct the fire tornado over him, dealing fire damage equivalent to a Gran Rey Cero for each post he remained in it.

If the Kidou failed, Gráinne would instead rush down to Riku's side. "This should cover you Captain." she would activate her Reflect Bounder Mk. III around both herself and Riku. The shield blocks any attack up to a Cero Oscuros in strength, and lasts for 7 posts. She would then bring the Fire Tornado and put it over herself and Riku. The tornado itself would only last for 3 posts, but hopefully it would be enough time. Scott just kept darting around firing low-level Kidou in an effort to simply provide an extra target.

With so many of his allies around him, Riku didn't budge, didn't falter, and didn't mind. He was gonna finish this. The littlest vizard helped deflect and block some of the orbs of energy, though not without some repercussions, he was knocked around pretty well, and if not for his lightning armor, might have been able to continue. A second seal appeared above Aizen. Then after a little bit, 25 rods of energy surrounded him, spinning clockwise. Then another 25 rods appeared outside of those and spun in the opposite direction.

It didn't take long after that for the spell to officailly activate. The rods closed in and constrained Aizen. The seals closed in on him too. Reality started to blur around him as a different dimension was created and started to suck his power at an even rate as he was regaining it to permanently fuel the spell. Soon, nothing was left of Aizen.

Riku's pendent had a crack down the center of it, reverted back to his normal state, and fell backwards. Aki had joined them just in time to witness it, having captured or eliminated the remaining maggots. Gold energy was still leaking from the pendent however.

Soon, a woman appeared out of the pendent, wearing the Kido Corp. captain uniform. It was clear she was related to Riku based on appearance alone. "Hello. I am Miyuki Tomoshibi. If you're seeing this, it means my oldest son had used a seal to permanently seal someone in another realm that would use their power to constantly fuel it. I hope it was Aizen, as it was originally meant to be used on him.

I succeeded Tessai before I disappeared to be with the one I love. For that I apologize, but I hope my creating this spell more than makes up for it. The problem of this spell, however, is its side effects. In addition to the energy in the pendent to use the spell, the user also devotes so much power to it that they literally revert back in strength. If he's a captain class fighter, probably down to lower vice-captain rank or seated officer in power. But most of all, the spell also used the memories of the user to fuel it.

My boy will not remember anything, not even his name. His body will remember how to defend itself, but that's it. I implore you to be patient and assist him in his time of need. As a mother, as a friend, as a Shinigami Captain. Take care of my son..."

She then disappeared. Aki waited a bit to see what would happen. If asked for a report, he'll respond. "The remaining maggots have surrendered. Soul Society is ours once again. Congratulations, Captain Commander Grainne Xios. Nice job everyone. But we still have a long road ahead of us. Your orders, ma'am?" He looked at Grainne. He knew what he would start doing, but it was her call.

And then it was over. Jensen sighed and lowered his sword, letting his toukai seal again before it ticked over and let out the powerful energy blast that had been building. Elayne dashed over to her brothers side and hugged him, asking him if he was alright. Diath went to Grainne with a sigh of relief. "Well done Sis. You made mom and dad proud." Jensen nodded. "Very proud no doubt. Congratulations Captain Commander." He said. He seen Aki come in and clasped the man's arm, smiling.

And then he looked to Riku, and released his friend was unconscious. Jensen ran to his side and stopped when he seen the woman who was clearly his mother pop out. He didn't know if she could hear him so he didn't answer, but he did swear to do as she asked. As soon as she vanished Jensen picked the boy up gently. "I'm going to take Riku and find my wife. She'll be able to care for him. I'll return when he's safe. I will see you all soon for celebrations." He said with a lingering smile. Then Jensen left.

Aizen was sealed away by Riku's spell. Gráinne dismissed both of her spells and sealed her Toukai away, landing on the floor with serene grace. The pendant fell to the floor, and a beautiful Shinigami appeared, almost in a haze. She spoke, detailing what the repercussions of the sealing spell were. Upon the vision asking for help for Riku, her son, Gráinne simply nodded. It was the least they owed this brave young man. The vision faded, and the room returned to normal. Gráinne breathed deeply, examining the room. Diath approached her and spoke. Scott stood beside Diath, smiling. "Indeed. You have done us all proud." Gráinne nodded and bowed, trying to conceal the few tears that trickled from her yellow eyes.

Jensen had picked up Riku and stated that he was going to get the young hero some medical help. Gráinne nodded. "Indeed. Well done Captain. I will visit once the Soul Society has been fully secured." She watched them leave, then turned to the others. "Victory is ours, though we have paid for it with many lives." She turned to Aki. "Captain Iyou, I would like you to co-ordinate the clean-up effort. Weeding oout the remaining enemies and the like. Diath and Scott, please assist him." After they left, Gráinne turned to Raiden and Elayne. "I will not keep you long. I just want to say this. both of you are heroes to the Soul Society. I know the is some ill will from the Shinigami to Vizards but know this. You will always be welcome here and I will see to it that you treated like the heroes you are. Thank you both." With that, Gráinne gave both of them a loving hug. She then summoned two medics and they helped Raiden away. Elayne followed. Gráinne stayed in the battle-damaged Maggot's Nest for another moment. She looked to the heavens, as if looking for someone. "I did it big brother. I did it."
