Phase 2

Zaer-3 sat with Bass, her faithful Bio-mimetic Autonomous Security Sentinel (Dog), atop the Washington Monument and stared over the cityscape as she planned, re-planned, and triple back up planned for Phase 2 of her objective.. Which was the crippling of the American super power.. Since it controlled the main base of the human anti-spiritual organization "The Coalition" this was actually a double tap against possible enemies. For if the former fell the latter was inevitably going to be forced to follow.

The two jumped down, landed, cracking, shattering, and going into the ground a few feet upon making contact with it. Only to walk out of said holes like they had just jumped a mere foot. First thing was first.. She had heard of a crisis in France.. using that as her distraction she would cripple America and force a global shift in power. That was sure to cause some destruction..

So she walked straight towards the white house, purposely killing everyone that was between her and her destination to further instill panic. For even if she failed here today and was forced to retreat.. the dominos would still have been tipped.. The world was sure to cry out for change out of fear.

Kai was meeting with the president when the crisis in France began, and their own started in front. Kai let his six guards escort the president to the back, not wanting them to use any type of aerial transport. He himself went out front, katana summoned and in hand. He was five feet, eight inches tall, silver hair, red eyes, white, black, and grey sweatshirt with a black scarf. Black jeans and shoes rounded his outfit. As more people was about to attack, and get murdered, he walked calmly out of the White House. He released a small amount of spiritual pressure, to let people know that someone was there to handle this situation. A dog and a woman, the dog obviously robotic. No spiritual pressure. Hiding it or just not there? Or some other reason?

Either way, he pointed behind him. An Ancient Monolith appeared from the ground behind him, summoned by Kai. He pointed at the woman and her pet robot. A magic circle formed in front of him. Three eight foot long, one foot diameter, missiles were fired at her. Each would explode with the power of a hado 31, and an area of effect of ten feet each.

He formed another magic circle, this time firing a barrage of hollow stars. Each would have a 1 in 3 chance of just cutting them, making the part they hit sluggish, or making it difficult to use their powers with that body part. Little did he know that none of those latter two effects could occur on her as she was a robot. The monolith behind him fired an energy blast as strong as a cero at the two things.

Zaer's visor snapped over her eyes as her scanners detected an extremely large energy signature coming from ahead of her. Bass growled as the data was shared with it and while Zaer continued to walk forward Bass changed it's entire makeup and turned into a chest suit of armor with wings on the back in order to grant Zaer the ability to fly. This also turns into boots with small engines for faster flight and leg guards but only covers her left hand, not her right arm or hand in any way, with a cannon that looks similar to Bass' head... The energy source was several times higher than anything else she had encountered and she was actually concerned about her ability to handle such a high power..

Which seemed to disappear as the man formed circles that shot out multiple projectiles at her. With a quick scan of them on their way to her she determined their make up would not exceed the specifications of her design and kept on walking as they flattened against her and fell down and otherwise exploded on her, the flames of the explosion being equally useless thanks to her amazing design.

She was now confused however. The energy she detected made this man obviously able to hurt her if not destroy her... So why was his start up attacks so weak? Did he not realize she was a robot yet? Did he not know of her from the reports filed during her match against 3 vice-captain level shinigami in Rome? That gave her an advantage..

One she took as she raised her hand covered in the head of Bass and fired her Flare Cannon causing a large beam of concentrated heat waves with power is akin to a hadou 88 and is easily capable of burning clothes and flesh even from a 10 foot miss. She designed this to deal with Heirro as those with heirro or heirro like abilities are almost garunteed to still be burned at least lightly without fire resistance.

She hadn't made it to him yet, but she was still analyzing all of the data from his energy and physical make up.. Something was scaring her about this man and her confusion due to how weak his first attack had been only made this paranoia heighten.. Something made even more serious considering she was still being cautious and was not even emulating emotions at the moment..

His magic missiles seemed to have done nothing to her, and the Lucky Star barrage barely did anything to her. She did fire a fire blast after the robotic dog had fused with her. Kai swung his arm like he was closing a shower curtain, using a defensive spell that only blocked energy and non-physical elements. It stopped the blast cold. But he still couldn't feel anything from her. Two options of what she was then. A robot of some kind or a bounto. Only one way to find out, but his coming to power as the new Coalition Leader wasn't official yet, so he couldn't check quick. But there were other ways of doing so.

Kai disengaged his barrier type II spell. He pointed at her. A large, blue magic circle with a snowflake in the center appeared close to her and several smaller ones within a fifty foot radius of that. Several ice shards exploded from them. Unless she had a moderately powerful hierro or equivalent, or barriers, she'd get cut. Each shard also had a 10% chance of some ice accumulating where they hit. Not like it mattered considering what she was that he didn't know yet.

But from above, another magic circle had appeared, firing two dozen saw blades that ignores all physical defenses. But they could also be melted or manipulated by the appropriate users. Kai also charged as fast as he can. Speed was one of his weaknesses, however. But who knows how strong she was compared to him. When he got close, he drew his katana for a swing. If she dodged, the Monolith would fire another Ancient Blast, again at the strength of a cero.

The man blocked her beam like it was nothing. This confirmed her caution and forced her to begin massive planning to escape with her body intact. She still needed to cause more destruction before doing so though.. and her thoughts got caught short as her scanners detected an influx of cold as the man formed ice and hurled it at her. Damn.. he was just like the man she fought in the tournament? Icey bastards needed to learn their place! Her overdrive activated and she was booking it as she closed the gap between her and Kai as quickly as possible..

Only to stop short a moment later and look up as saw blades came at her. Her whip cords rose to her defense and smacked many of the blades away by attacking their flat sides and throwing them off.. one managed to cut her whip cord clean off as she failed to smack it away and ended up kicking that on to her left on her own. The new information that he had attacks able to so easily bypass her design was well needed but not shocking as she had already gauged his energy level. The damaged whip cord visibly started to repair but it was going to take a few minutes.. That wasn't an easy repair to make after all the cords were far more complex than one may think..

But then he came forward on his own and swung a sword at her. Perfect. This is something she knew she could handle. The sword didn't give off anywhere near as much reishi as the zanpaktou's of the vice-captains from Rome.. so all she needed to worry about is if he was able to overpower her while she was in Overdrive.. her only means to increase her natural ability, and it did so by double, because she didn't exert life energy and thus had no energy to boost with.

Which she tested by punching her left fist directly at his blade as he came for her..

Kai watched as she took the ice shards and dealt with the saw blades. One of the blades even cut one of her whip cords. She then matched his sword with her fist, as he held back. Almost too little. The sword didn't break or anything. If it wasn't infused with magic, it certainly would have, and wouldn't have it's neat trick. She wasn't as strong as he thought she was. Good grief...first major fight in two years and you overestimate your opponent just because you can't sense her...

He pushed back with his full strength now, pushing and deflecting the punch. He gave her a wide punch aiming for the temple. If she got in closer, he would knee her in the gut, and try to hack off the cords and elbow her in the back. If she got distance, he would oblige, with two magic circles, one above her and one below her, firing a single Lucky Star from above and a single saw blade from below.

His monolith joined in again. Firing an Ancient blast at her. It was its only actual attack. It then cast a physical enhancement spell on Kai, his six guards that were escorting the President away, and the president himself. It doubled everything physical. If she had stuck to air, Kai would summon a Mage Disc, which allowed him to also fight in midair. He came at her mercilessly, being mindful of that cannon arm of her's. As he closed for a swipe with his sword, vines would come out of his body to tangle her up. Then behind her, a blue magic circle with a snowflake in the center appeared, firing a cannon ball sized blast of cold energy. It was as strong as a gran rey cero, but if it hit, it would also encase a third of her body in ice.

If Glacial Cannon missed, he would bounce it back at her with Mirror Shot.

As he parried her punch away she tried to stab into his abdomen with her one still complete whipcord while the other was now beginning to slowly rebuild itself. Then he err'd. He a human , despite all his power, was still a being of flesh and bone. She turned her head and smashed her solid metal forehead against his fist. With overdrive coupled with her head, like a humans, being the thickest most durable part of her body she was certain even with her sliding back a few feet from the force of his punch he wasn't about to try that again.

As she was sliding back from his punch hitting, he, for some unknown reason to her, decided to give her a bit of a breather which allowed her time to deal with the incoming energy signature from his creation.

She didn't need to worry about the beam of energy from that annoying statue that much however as with a kick it was dispersed but the two circles that appeared earlier matched signatures and designs from the earlier ones so she dove forward just as they fired their attacks. When she got to her feet she was forced to again punch his sword to keep it from doing anything.

and then she got caught by some kind of plant manipulation. Her scanners detected a massive power build up behind her and she frowned as she used the remains of her overdrive to snap free of them just in time to turn around.

What could she possibly do to such an attack at such close range..

Soccer! With Mach Attack activating she performed a kick at 350% her maximum speed to force the ball to go hurling upwards thought it did still damage her leg's engine boosts gained from morphing with Bass. She wasn't going to be flying properly anytime soon thanks to that nor using it to kick at full power. Blast this guy just had to miraculously be here instead of somewhere else. What a rotten miscalculation on Zaer's part. one made worse as she realized she was now frozen for a good part of her body..or would have been worse if she hadn't already been in overdrive thus overclocking thus overheating..the ice melted off in mere moments.

Which is when said annoyance bounced the attack she just sent hurtling away back at her. Fine. She had no choice. She couldn't risk using Zeno Buster yet because she couldn't get a clear shot of the white house.. So she did the next best thing.

And activated her Reality Marble.

From the outside looking in it would have seemed like the two combatants had been sucked in and trapped in a giant diamond looking sphere and nothing they did would even effect it.

But on the inside it would have felt like everything suddenly shifted. Like the whole world had shook just one time viciously. Next thing Kai would know is that the president or the six guards or even his monolith creation were not here. Everything looked and felt the same except for that one fact. Zaer was just sitting there grinning as she tried tinkering with her foot.

"I have you.. The Strongest Human.. and you will not get away so easily.." She rushed him and was looking like she was about to try and punch him square in the face only for her to suddenly be at his back about to make contact with the back of his skull. For in this world there was ONE thing she could do to her opponents directly..and that was mess up their sense of direction. If she hit she'd attempt to combo him with a vicious barrage of punches and kicks, though she still couldn't fully use her damaged leg she was still using it to fight. Albeit at 70% output..

If she missed somehow she'd make a breather even if she had to deal with some attacks to do so. She had many new options available to her within this created space.. and she needed to figure out how best to utilize them..

He grabbed the whip cord and pulled her towards him, and continuing with his punch. He smacked her right in the head, hopefully tearing the cord out of her. Yep...she was definitely not organic. But it wasn't like his hand was gonna bruise or anything. She dealt with his Monolith's Ancient Blast and duel spells easily enough. She tore through the vines as expected and tried to play soccer with Glacial Cannon. Which her attempt failed, but the ice melted off immediately. It was overheating? He now had a suspicion she was doing something to temporarily boost her performance.

She then activated a new ability. His monolith wasn't here anymore...nor his personal guard nor the president nor the citizenry. He and her was transported to a different space. Yet everything looked the same. He was tempted to summon his Monolith inside via teleporting it...but decided not to. At her, he responded with a deadpan voice. "Who said I intended to get away?"

She rushed him, and he attempted a stab into her heart. Only to get hit in the back of the head. He turned, slapping away another punch. He was walking backwards, parrying and blocking the vicious assault. From above, a larger than normal brown magic circle appeared, giving her a few more seconds than normal to react to it. From it, a huge drill that could penetrate tough heirro came crashing down on top of her. Hopefully, this will give him a breather.

His sense of direction was off. He couldn't go on the offensive so easily...Kai decided to take the defense. He had to do something that would risk his spells going off wrong. He took off a ring on his middle finger. His spiritual pressure suddenly exploded even higher than before. He could still manipulate it mildly, but there was no way he could suppress it even somewhat. Not like he was going to here. He gripped the ring in his free hand. He closed his eyes, and started mapping out everything within a 40 yard radius of him. He could detect all movement here, and detect obstacles.

He was gonna let her attack now. Surely she can't hold this up forever. And he could last against her.

and she is suddenly ripped apart by a drill that crashed ontop of her. The end. I'm done.
