Chicago came tumblin down!

Aki had found Yuri. And hired him. He also found another "magic" user and asked her to help out free Chicago of the monsters...and destroying it. Yuri said he knew of someone else also interested in freeing or destroying Chicago and sent word, though with no actual time table yet due to lack of information. He already liked this holy user. He was smart and competent. A bit of an idealist, but still realistic. Even if they tried to hussle the hostages out of there, there would still be casualties, there was no stopping that. They were also given some other form of help from someone else. Because of no time table.

However, upon the weeks of investigation of the city, hollow were retreating and leaving. Aki found it odd, and just waited and see. Until the attack on New York started happening. It was pretty obvious why, in his mind, why they did. They had camped out close to the city, hidden, when they saw it on the news station of a makeshift TV. That was why they decided now was the time.

The plan was simple, as a whole. Yuri would need full concentration on preparing his spell after getting in and finding a good spot to hide, so he was out of the action. Saber, the generious woman magic user, would either find the hostages and lead them out or joining in the destraction that Aki would do, now fully recovered from his injuries. Depending upon the situation when it starts, and he'll trust her own good judgement. Even if he was weaker. He just didn't have as much power anymore due to his soul sleep being damaged. But still quite formidible. Abel would also help out in finding and extracting the hostages.

The former Captain Commander went into shikai right away and did a full frontal assault, slaughting and trying to get as many hollow to go after him as possible. It wasn't rainy, but it was cloudy and dark and dreary. His multiple fire and lightning blades were stretching out and moving slicing and burning away the scourge. There were still a large number of them, but he was fast. He just needed to be careful not to get caught in a trap...

Yuri found his way into the sewers. He popped up and continued moving as Akihiko Iyou did his thing. So far, so good. The man was making one hell of a distraction. Then again, he was the former Captain Commander of the Gotei 13. He just hoped Saber did her part and get as many people out as possible. He found himself a good hiding place...in a locker of all things. That was when he started his spell.

Up above, over the clouds so it wouldn't be seen, a huge magic circle appeared over the entire city. Ragnarak was starting to charge. His city destroying spell. Now it was just waiting and charging and praying no one opened the locker...or find him...

Kain waited, agitated. The enemy were everywhere, but he was told to wait till Aki moved.. He watched and waited, bouncing with energy. "Fuck it!" He went charging in, cutting a turret in half with a long blade of ice. He sprung on a hollow and cut its head off then threw himself at another. Laughting. Go all out. Exterminate every hollow you meet and then get the fuck out. That was parius' order. Best.. order.. Ever!

Kain spotted a group of hostages. A group of hollow were bearing down on them. A combination of blurr and quick slashes of his weapon seen them all in pieces. Laughing he turned to the hostages. "Dont wait for me. I'm not a baby sitter." They thanked him anyway and ran off into city. Kain flaired his power and stabbed his sword into the ground to increase his power to final form.

There was a sudden ripping sound high about the city, and a tremendous power emerged from a Garganta. The hollow king?! OH FUN! But he'd been ordered to kill all hollow... not fight arrancar... Maybe later. He went back to his killing.

Arngrim emerged on the outskirts of the city that was no longer his. He'd agreed to release it, though not to a truce. In response to Rin's visit, he'd allowed Tara to lead an attack against new york. That would make sure Rin understood he was no push over. He was a viking, not a milk sop or bowing Pansie.

How ever he wasn't here for a fight. He'd come to figure out what the hell was going on.. Why would Rin order an attack on chicago after they'd agreed to terms of release. He'd even had some of his arrancar set up safe ways out of the city for the hostages. He couldn't remove all the hollow. Allot had been born in this city and were mindless and uncontrollable. He had no way to deal just yet, though he'd given his word and had planned to.

Arngrim just watched in puzzlement. He could feel several different types of Reiatsu in the city, shinigami. Maybe they weren't informed of the situation? Hahaha.. This might be benifitial for Arngrim, by creating a divide between the humans and shinigami.

Abel ran down an alleyway, after Aki and Kain had started to fight the Hollows. He knew what he had to do, but he was a bit disappointed he didn't get to fight. On the other hand, he really didn't want to go against what Parius had told him to do. "Finding, and getting as many people out of the city before it blow is a top priority. Can't fail him now then, can I? However, after looking for a while, Abel wasn't finding anyone on the streets, or in the houses he was checking. Did they kill them all? Abel thought, coming out of an apartment complex. This is really strange.

He then stopped, when he noticed someone's Spiritual Pressure, who had just arrived. Looking to where it was, he couldn't have been to sure who this was. He was an Arrancar, that much was certain. Shaking himself, and continuing on, Abel felt as if he shouldn't really try and fight that guy.

Kain had contacted Saber and asked for her help in a matter concerning Chicago. she agreed to help and so she, on her motorcycle and wearing a tuxedo, combed the city looking for more people who may be stuck, trapped, or too scared..but she oddly didn't find that many.. She escorted the ones she could to the outskirts of the city and told them to flee though. After that she really couldn't find any no matter how hard she tried..

Ryuuda on the other hand was left back at the Vanguard base. She didn't believe it would be wise for him to accompany her on a mission that needed to be done so quickly so she had told him to stay behind. After a short while of this a giant hole opened in the sky and grabbed Saber's attention. An Espada? She didn't know alot of the hollows and their heirachy yet but she did know only the strong hollow could do that in that manner.

Saber got herself up on the side of a building with her motorcycle and, once she was on the roof, drove/jumped off the rooftop at the hollow in an attempt to slash him with Excalibur, though it was currently invisible due to Invisible Air being active. Hit or Miss she surely got his attention. She had to use her Invisible Air ability to keep her motorcycle from slamming into the ground and breaking.. but other than that her landing was smooth and effortless despite how high it had been of a fall.

She didn't even say anything. She didn't feel a need to. The enemy as the enemy and he had so openly appeared. He must have known someone would attack him.

Aki saw the Gargantua open and out popped a familiar face. There were apparently more hostages that left than were expected. Something didn't seem right...but oh well. At this rate, they just might get all of them out as he drew the hoards to him. At least either him or Kain. Twenty minutes in...Aki knew the spell was almost complete. Either way, he combined his two elemental weapons into one, and after slashing through most of the hoard, he launched a gran rey leveled attack at the familiar face. "Came to see the party? Shame it'll be over soon..." Aki had a smirk. Then a massive power surge was felt high above them.

Aki looked up as the hoards stopped and did the same. The clouds were blown away to show that massive magic circle...with an enermous sword the size of three skyscrapers coming out of the center and a variety of swords and spears ranging from a single skyscraper in size to as small as a windmill. They weren't clustered together like rain, and they were dodgeable. But even if you were cut, the sudden infusion of holy energy would certainly kill them. And they came crashing down. Even Aki responded. "Oh shit."

The former Captain Commander shunpoed away to the outskirts of the city and watched in amazement as the ability started to cleave through hollows and buildings. Even crashing into the ground and turning it into a mountain range. Practically every single one. In mere seconds, the city was nothing but ruins and the landscape completely changing. Water was filling in some of the holes from the Great Lakes. Aki was both mezmorized and afraid at once. A single person had the power to destroy an entire city...he only hoped Yuri wasn't willing to go that far very often.

Yuri got out of the locker and ran like hell. He ended up getting trapped in the rubble, and tired as hell. He actually shot a few times. Some of the surviving hostages heard the shots and found him. They unburied him and a couple escorted him through the devastation to the edge of the city. Good thing he was getting paid for this...through it wasn't his usual fee...Aki only did as many jobs as he could to pay the man. Oh well. Now it was done...and now he wondered what in the hell is going to happen with New York...

Arngrim watched the fighting below curiously, without interfering. It seemed they were clearing out the hollow. He'd been noticed, as a woman on a motor bike shot up by him, swinging what looked to be a blade of air. Arngrim drew his sword and blocked, watching the mysterious woman fall back to earth. He let her go, as the strongest shingami attacked with lightning, and shouted up to him.

Arngrim had apready sheathed his sword and simply sonido'd aside the attack."A show? what?" He felt the surge of energy and looked to the sky, as the clouds broke and a giant magic circled appeared. He watched as weapons fell from they sky demolishing buildings and killing hollow. The attack leveled the city. Argrim watched quietly, and when it was over, burst out laughting.

He continued to laugh as the smoke cleared. He imagined Aki and the others would be staring at him in puzzlement. He turned towards the powerful captain. "Oh my, thats quite a show. Quite a show indeed!" he shouted, still laughing. "Tell me, who's fantastic idea was that? Well?" he whipped away tears of myrth.

Kain was still in the city when the weapons came down. He continued to kill hollow regardless, as they crashed into the ground around him. His instincts had him blurring all over the place avoiding the damn things, and falling builings and rubble. He eventually ended up on the outskirts. He made it through unscathe, but the same couldn't be said for a group of hostages. Some hollow remained, any he came across he cut down.

He started to make his way through the city looking for yuri, when the arrancar in the sky started laughing. what was so funny? all this death? Kain guessed so. Maybe the man had a screw loose. Kain looked around to see if there were any hollows left cause if not he could go after the arrancar. There was a few more though.

Abel, after finally finding a group of people, and getting them outside the city, felt the release of energy. Looking up, he saw the circle. Amazed at the size of it, he was surprised further when weapons started falling from the sky, demolishing the city. Abel had a strange feeling, as if they were doing something wrong. It may have had something to do with the Arrancar laughing. Looking at him, Abel waited for Aki to respond to the barbarian-like Arrancar.

Seeing someone else grab more attention from the enemy than Saber had managed too she returned to trying to find any remaining stragglers in the city. There was no point in trying to regain someone's attention when they were not concerned with her. Especially considering how easily he had blocked her attack at such a high speed.

As she searched she noticed a large magical circle in the sky and hurried to escape the impending destruction. Along the way however she had found a mother and her two children who still needed to escape the city. Unable to accommodate herself and three people She quickly got off her motorcycle. Told the lady how to make it go and watched them speed off as she started running on foot.

She just barely managed to escape without being hit. She had to unseal her Excalibur from Invisible Air and use the speed burst to make it out just as the blades started to become more than she could dodge and block. She couldn't help but wonder however..how one person could have such power as to destroy an entire city like this.

Aki stared at the familiar face. "I wouldn't be laughing...Los Noches is next. Unless you have something you wish to share. And even then, I won't trust you. And I doubt anyone here will. So then...what are you gonna do? Stick around and fight all of us? Or go lead your attack on New York? Either way...you'll be seeing us again...or me at least..." The gut feeling came back. If they weren't pulling out to do a full scale assault on New York...then why else would they be? There was nothing the Coalition could offer, beyond unconditional surrender or trading another city, that would be good enough for the pull out.

Well...whatever...what's done was done. Mission completed. If anyone was fast enough, they could meet him in hitting the rear of the hollows attack in New York. Although...they would be rather late...considering the distance between the two places.

Yuri and the other survivors were walking away now. Or stumbling. Some found vehicles and were offering people rides. Yuri agreed to one. He then asked if they knew anything about why the hollows were pulling out. One of them just shrugged and said they just started letting people go. Yuri was puzzled...but he was pretty sure he'll hear of why later...

Arngrim laughed heartily at Aki's comment. "Come and try, shinigami! You'll find you wont be able to just walk in to my fortress. And thanks for the warning, I'll be watching for what ever little worm you've got now. I can feel his power, dont think you can sneak him past." Arngrim Shrugged, his cloak rippling. "I count five of you, and two are to weak to even scratch me. Come at me if you will, but I wont attack first."

Technically they'd already broke the truce by attacking him, but he didn't care. "Did you get all the humans out I wonder? I tried to get them all but there were to many." That could mean anything really. From him wiping them out to helping them out. "I hope your proud, fool shinigami." As he said that a Garganta opened and an arrancar messenger ran up to Arngrim. He kept his voice low. "Sir... Ezia's been killed in battle.."

"WHAT?!" Arngrim roared, smashing a hand into the Arrancars face, sending him flying towards the earth, dead. his power rose out of control, and he went straight into segunda as he let out a roar of rage. The sedden outburst of spiritual pressure was so strong most of the remaining hollow in the city died instantly. Arngrim spun and ripped open a garganta, his rage filled power vanishing inito hueco mundo..

Abel watched the back and forth between Aki and the Arrancar, only looking away to check on the group of people he had helped out of the city. He looked back up, when he felt another power come into play. Finally grabbing his Zanpakuto, Abel was surprised by the Arrancars sudden outburst of anger. That's when he was hit by the Spiritual Pressure. Abel couldn't breathe, and it felt like he was going to die. The feeling was over after about 2 seconds, but Abel was sweating. That must be the Hollow King. Abel thought, wiping the sweat from his face. Abel then touched the amulet around his neck, and opened a portal to the Manor. When Parius is done, I gotta tell him bout that Arrancar. He thought, stepping through it. Wait.....Weren't Saisei and Erza supposed to be here?

Abel has left the....rubble of the buildings. >.>

Saber looked back as she stood up from her nearly not escaped situation and noticed that the larger power had left in a rage after releasing all of his power. However she had something she wished to ask that other man in the sky.. so she held up her right hand which shined red for a second and then suddenly sprouted aneglic wings so she could fly up to him and maintain that altitude. Losing one of the three seals on her hand in the process..though it would regenerate at a later time.

"You seem to know who our enemy is and my master has not told me much yet.. We should talk in a more secure location sometime in the future," she said it rather bluntly..not being one to sidestep around a topic and all, "I'm also curious who and how someone managed cast such powerful magic.. I haven't seen that level of magic since True Magic was still within the grasp of normal human beings.."

Her magic's time limit was quickly reaching it's end after she finished talking so she landed on a nearby rooftop to avoid plummeting to the ground, "I will be in England if you wish to talk. I will hold nothing against you if you wish to remain unknown to me." with that she used another command seal to spacially transport her to England in the house her and Ryuuda stayed in. She then went to rest figuring she could at the very least manage a nap before he got there.. assuming he came directly there.. or even at all.

So she dreamed a fools dream..and enjoyed her peaceful slumber.

It was Aki's turn to laugh. "You don't know when or in what strength. And you hollow aren't ones much for spy work and intelligence, so I doubt you'll even find him. But you're welcomed to try. Don't know why you would let them go...but either way, we got most of them out, if not all. I'm sure I'll find out why later." It was true. Of course, only reason was they were already in the process. Even if the ability didn't do some of them in, the hollow that were still there would have gotten them. Just as expected. After a messenger, the arrancar left in a rage. Only one destination was possible.

Then the generious woman came up and talked with him. He kept his swords in shikai and listened, even following her to a ruined rooftop. "Our enemies is Grand Chat and Arngrim Wolfcloak. Curious not seeing Grand around...but who knows. They're both Espada. For now, they're my focus. As for as who used that spell...well...I just painted a huge ass target on his back. The fewer people that knows of him, the better. Arrancar may not be for spy work...but that doesn't mean they can't learn. I just hope he has plenty of friends. I'm heading towards New York. It'll probably be over by the time I get there...one way or the other." She then left. She was a curious one...and he looked forward to meeting her again.

Now he was on his way to NYC...
