Tumbling down

A young woman with long flowing locks of brown hair and green eyes walked slowly alone in the forest just as the sun was rising, light bouncing off her white dress. Eve Reinhart stood at 5'7", and slender with lighly bronzed skin. A traquil smile sat on her lips as she moved along through the brush, listening to the morning song of various birds. Various animals, rabbits, birds and deer crossed her path without taking a second look, something telling them she was safe to be around, a friend to forest an animals alike.

Everything seemed fine like every other day so far from the world, but there was a sudden change in the atmosphere. The birds stopped singing, and a nearby deer glanced around nervously, ear twitching, before it dashed off into the forest. For a moment she though there were hunters nearby, but she felt no human life force in any direction. Except, above. Glancing up she froze as something came falling towards the earth.

Falling? She was falling huh.. Damn.. Better stop herself then shouldn't she. Makoto tried to stop herself using her spiritual power, but it wouldn't respond to her..her new human body was not yet adjusted to the new existence. Drats..thats ment she was going to crash into the ground.. ..what was the ground anyways? Makoto managed to move her head and get her eyes to focus with some effort only to see a large forest below her. Crap..this might hurt a bit if she didn't.. ..then her power slowly began to adjust to the new form and she was able to throw up a spiritual barrier around her out of her own energy.

...though she hoped she didn't hit any animals on the landing.

Boom.. in a massive explosion of spiritual power she landed and caused a big crater in which she was now trying to crawl out of.. her spiritual power having protected her from being harmed just like it protected Rena before disappearing on her. She brushed off her armor to get all the dirt and dust off and looked around feeling for anyone nearby that could help her get her bearings. Then she noticed someone's spiritual signature nearby and went to go meet it. she wouldn't say anything right away..but she would wave at whoever it was..just had to hope it was friendly.

It took Eve a moment to spot the ball of Reiatsu desending on the forest and she had to run to escape it as it crashed into the ground, creating a deep crater in the earth and decimating a small part of the forest. Still, looking at the destruction of the trees greatly annoyed her and she was ready to fight as she approached the crater to look down into it.

She had expected an enemy but the woman in the crater looked more like she was lost. She waved to Eve who stared back confused for a moment before raising a hand and sliding into the crater to see if she was ok. "Are you hurt? where did you come from, its not often a person just falls out of the sky.." Eve asked, sincerly worried that the woman might be hurt.

Now that someone had noticed her they would have realized she stood at 5'7'' and looked pretty thin despite wearing armor. She had long black hair and here eyes shone a beautiful blue..but she looked as though she was an emotionless doll by the visual of her face..pretty as she was it was kind of creepy for her to look like no one was really home even though she was staring right at the girl.

Makoto blinked a bit as the girl she had found came near her and asked if she was okay. She patted herself down to make sure nothing was broken and nodded to signify she was fine, but didn't smile nor frown. She was displaying a dispassionate expression but it wasn't necessarily a frown or a smile.. or anger.. or anything. Though in her head a thousand things were going on at once in a very organized manner.

Makoto looked a bit confused as she started clenching one of her hands over and over. Having the memories of Rena she had thought her physical power would be immense..but now that she had time to sort things out..she realized that physically she was almost helpless against anyone even close to her level of power..but she soon realized where it all went as her spiritual power shot through the roof..causing a mass of wind to rush out from her for a moment before calming down.

However her spiritual energy did not go back down..but she merely looked at the girl and shrugged as if she was saying "Oh well." Looks like she retained all of Rena's spiritual power..which means Rena kept all of the physical power.. a shame that Rena got the more fun share of power out of the two, but she couldn't complain.. considering She was quickly organizing her mind and figuring out just what all she was still capable of doing with her spiritual power.

"Direction to Population." she said to the girl as she began to look around..without knowing WHERE she was she couldn't figure out where to go from here. Just because she was smart didn't mean she was instantly psychic about her position on the planet after falling basically from heaven head first.

Eve watched the mysterious woman with wonder. She felt such a strong spiritual pressure from the woman, it was quite amazing, like nothing she'd ever encountered before. Eve was thankful she wasn't here as a foe, or the druid's luck may have run out. She was a little annoyed about the destruction of the trees but she said nothing because the woman probably didn't do it on perpose.

The woman nodded at Eve's question then asked where the nearest city was. Eve pointed north east. "I'll come with you if thats ok, you did just fall out of the sky and I'm still a little worried you've hurt yourself and dont realise it. Either way, I've been meaning to go to new york for a while now, and I would like the company." Eve waited for the woman to reply with a gentle smile.

"Agreed"

and off Makoto went without even waiting for this woman to lead the way in the direction the girl pointed. She didn't run..she just walked. She had all the time in the world..there was no need to hurry. First she had to figure out what her other half was doing, so that she could determine how long they would be separated. She could not willingly restore Rena's memory herself due to being forced into doing nothing by the Soul King..but she could still figure out her current condition.

After a while, assuming the girl had indeed followed her, Makoto would speak again in the same almost robotic manner as before after slowing down a bit and looking at her left arm, "Injury detected." She didn't show pain or anything..her face hadn't changed from before, but her mind had finally been active enough and had developed enough to register damage to the body apparently one of the tree's she had made contact with had managed to hurt her, "Dislocation of arm from the shoulder..fractured fore-arm bones..broken fingers." She stopped at the end of this and stared at the girl. Despite being in quite a bit of pain you couldn't tell by looking at Makoto's face. It wasn't that she didn't feel it..she.just..didn't show any emotion.

The pair walked alone in silence, which Eve prefered. She liked company but that didn't mean they had to talk. But after a while the woman stopped, and it seemed indeed she was hurt, quite badly. She was very strange though, not showing any pain, or much emotion at all. Then again she'd fallen from the sky, and that wasn't exactly normal.

Eve looked at the arm in question, and nodded. The armor the woman wore would make it hard to notice the damage. Eve guessed she couldn't feel pain or something along those lines because she'd failed to notice it before. "Dominus aut in silva, da munus tuum, ut tueri regni a qui audeat nocere." Eve sang, activating her first level of Druid powers. "If you dont mind, I'll have to touch you." Eve explained.

Assuming the woman said it was ok, Eve took her by the hand, and but the other hand on her shoulder. She closed her eyes to focus for a moment then sang another chant. "Ego vocant in naturas donum, reddere vitam vis puer." As soon as she said the last word, power would begin to channel from Eve into Makoto's arm and around the damaged areas. The Shoulder popped back into place first, and then the bones would start to heal starting with the fingers, though that would take a few minutes.

As the woman finished her speech in gibberish as Makoto was now labelling it.. She lifted her arm and slowly clenched her still damaged hand, "Continual repairs.. acceptable." She then continued towards the town in total silence for the couple of hours it took them to arrive. Upon doing so she immediately realized it was New York City.. That made things much easier as she knew the city pretty well..a Cab would be too expensive considering Makoto was broke..and it would be slow.

"Coalition HQ.." She said as she glanced over at the girl who had been with her. When she did so the ground beneath the two of them split apart and they were levitated by rocks in the shape of a disc platform into the air about thirty feet from the ground. She used her own energy to "Tie" the two girl's feet to said rock platform as it sped off at around 85 mph towards the Coalition HQ above all of the cares and street lights.

Unlike the walk here it would not take them that long to reach the HQ due to traffic not being an issue with them flying through the air. They landed with a gentle thud right at the front before Makoto realized something very important..The Coalition knew Rena..not Makoto..even though they were the same person they did not "look" the same hence the chances of her getting easy access was slim to none..

For the first time since the girl had found her in the crater Makoto looked concerned..though it was quickly removed from her face as she wondered how hard it could be to make a friend to get her inside considering Rena had broken in and nearly kidnapped a member to train them in combat before making all the friends she had.. She looked over at the girl and pointed at the building's door.

"..Access Denied?" She asked to the girl hoping somehow she would be able to get Makoto inside.

The two women continued their walk after Makoto's arm was mostly healed, and after some time the reached the edge of the forest, with the city ahead. Eve was about to continue walking when the ground beneath her suddenly shifted and they were lifted up into the air. She looked at Makoto confused, moments before the rock shot off.

Surprisingly they were safe, bound to the ground with strings of Spiritual energy. Eve was terrified of airplanes, but this wasn't a bad way to travel at all, she could get used to it. It didn't take long before they landed outside the coalition building. Eve smiled at Makoto. "It seems fate brought us together, I was planning on coming here."

Makoto asked if access was denied, and in reply Eve shrugged and hopped off the rock. "I'll see if I can get us inside." She said. She walked towards the front door and approached the first person to appear. "Excuse me young one, i'm wondering if you can help me and my freind over there." She said.

Rummaging through his desk, Hunt let out an exasperated sigh as he shuffled the manila folders before tossing out the contents into the trash, he hated paperwork, and he hated it even more when he looses the paperwork that is needed. Massaging his temples, Hunt laid back in his office chair, his dark metallic skin lightly reflecting the light from the window near his office. While being a Corporal had its annoyances it still had a few perks after all. Looking around slowly, as if hoping the form would suddenly appear on his desk, Hunt sat with both eyes closed until boredom got the better of him. Rolling back in the chair quickly, Hunt stood up and left his small office in his tan cargo pants and burnt orange shirt and white hoodie. Though he doubted he'd be attacked today he brought his equipment with him, stowing it underneath his hoodie, paranoid someone would steal them otherwise.

Walking through the hallways, the teenager took a left into a stair well, his office only being on the third floor, and walked down. His standard steel toed hiking boots clanking against the metal of the stairs as he descended, fresh air was needed that was certain. Being cooped up was not good for Hunt's health, and as he contemplated his position in life, the boy reached the lobby, head down and hands in his pockets Hunt didn't pay attention to anything at all, that was until he smacked his head into the glass of the door. "Damn it..." he cussed under his breath before exiting the building into the streets of New York.

However, the fresh air was short lived as he looked at the chunk of rock on the side of the sidewalk. Rubbing his forehead again Hunt glanced at the two women talking to each other, not paying them any notice, knowing that weird was normal in New York nowadays, Hunt took but managed one step before one of them asked for help. At that very moment Hunt hated being a civil servant, sucking it up Hunt responded with a fake smile plastered across his bronzed face, his skin darkly tanned and shining dimly with particles of lead, his gloomy featured eyes sizing up the two girls, seeing as they both looked rather out of place. "But of course! How may I be of service!" Offering his hand to Eve, Hunt said nothing else besides his name. "My name is Hunt..."

Retrieving his hand back whether or not the girl shook it, Hunt waited for one of their replies before saying anything else.

Makoto pointed at the building behind Hunt..which was the Coalition HQ obviously, "Access denied.." she stated flatly and bluntly, though her spiritual power was kinda high at the moment not a single trace of it was hostile, before staring from the building to the man who had just walked out of it her tone, though no actual emotion was seen, was that of great irritation, worry, and disappointment..she wanted in and could not get in. Something she didn't like at all..

"Fix." she said as she looked back at the man while pointing again at the building.

Fix..what a wonderful word..it meant so many things at once it as hilarious. Though at this point it was obvious she meant Fix the fact her access to the inside of the coalition was denied. She walked up and stopped just inches from the door realizing if she walked any further with no actual proof of the fact she and Rena were the same they would call her crazy and probably turn her away..and if she tried to force the matter she would be making an enemy of the very people she had come to work with..how very vexing.. though not a single shred of emotion was given by her body language or facial expressions..

Would the man actually allow her to get inside? She didn't like talking..despite the fact she could probably talk her way inside with very little effort she didn't talk all that much at all..one of the other traits Rena must have kept when the two were split apart.. She just had to wait and see..perhaps the other girl could get them in by talking.

"I'm Eve, and my freind is Makoto." She said to the young man. Makoto tried to explain that she wanted to go in without saying more than three words so Eve decided it was down to her to do the talking, though she would like to get this over with and head back to the forest where she could await the day she was needed. Though she might need a cell phone. That would be fun to learn to use...

Eve snapped out of her thoughts and began to explain to Hunt what they needed. "We're here to join. I heard there was a healing branch opened up recently, and I can heal, so I though it would be a good idea to lend my powers, after what happened in Chicago. And my freind.. Er.. Wants to join too?" She asked this as she looked around to Makoto who hadn't explained why she was here, and that was the only explenation. Unless she was here to destroy the coalition building, though Eve sensed no malice from her.

"Eitherway, we'd like to come in and meet who ever is in charge around here, if thats possible."

Seeing as the handshake did not work at all, Hunt simply ignored the fact of making him look like an idiot, or at least in his own mind. Seeing the one known as Makoto only spoke about three words, Hunt could only laugh as he scratched his grizzled chin, his facial expression that of a rather bored man. Though hearing Eve finish asking to join the Coalition Hunt flatly denied her question, the bronze tanned man shaking his head slowly. "Your permission to join is denied for now until I know who the hell you two are. Your names may be real, but I have no idea whether or not I can even trust two strangers who just leave a rock platform in the middle of the sidewalk." Hoping one of the two took the hint as Hunt pointed directly at the stone slab, he continued talking keeping an eye on the two not fully trusting them.

"I don't mind if you attempt to join, but your not getting in just like that," Hunt snapped his fingers as he scratched his chin again. As a corporal he didn't have any major say in what could happen, but he could at least point them in the right direction, maybe show them around the public and less important areas of the building. "But first things first, move that damn rock somewhere it won't cause trouble for anyone, I don't care where, chuck it in an alley, just don't break anything. I've already had to file reports for damaged buildings thanks to all the assorted hollow and the like trying to sneak in past the city defenses." Taking a breath Hunt waited for a response from both of them before he would even think of letting them into the building, knowing the Coalition already had one questionable guest with freedom hanging about.

Hunt continued as he asked for more information, as he took out a small cellphone that was attached to the general database of the Coaltion, while it didn't have anything overly important it had enough data to figure out if either of them had caused any mishaps in the past. "I'll need a last name, from you Miss Three Word, and you, Eve was it? I'll need something to go off of as well. Last name, date of birth, parents, whatever. The good thing about technology nowadays is I can do a back ground check at a click of a button." Clinging to the small cellphone in his left hand Hunt waited, as he folded his arms.

Upon being told she would not be allowed to enter without ridding the sidewalk of the new mini boulders..the two things glowed with spiritual energy and slowly crushed inwards upon themselves until they were dust that got scattered in the wind. As Makoto's spiritual energy had already been high up to this point no actual fluctuation in it would have been noticeable even though she did indeed cause it.

"Lisola.. Age two hours and thirty-seven minutes.. Date of birth is today of this month and year.. Parents are Kaze and Lenara Lisola date of birth unknown..estimated to be two millennia ago or greater..."

What made the fact she just said she was two and a half hours old so believable was the simple monotone way she said it..as if reciting something without even thinking about it What made it funny is that is exactly how long she had been in the company of Eve. She wasn't even staring at the man anymore.. but up at the building as she waited to be told she could enter. She even ignored his attempt at an insult concerning her lack of speaking.

"Alternative measures begin in five minutes.." She stated flatly aloud to herself as she continued to stare at the building instead of really paying attention to anyone else even though she really was. She had to get access with permission..but she wasn't above finding someone who would listen to her through what would be seen as stupidity and force if it really came down to it.. Someone would recognize the fact she was using Rena's last name and actually trust her at some point..Rena had a lot of friends after all..something that annoyed Makoto at the moment because Rena also kept the whole speech trait with HER instead of sharing it.. It wasn't Rena's fault that her other self got the short end of the social stick..but that didn't stop it from bothering her.

..Of course she didn't show any expression or body language to show such a thing.

Eve frowned.. That was unexpected. Had she offended him somehow? Either way she srugged it off and listened to his interogation and formed her answers, though she didn't know if she would be in his data base. If she was lucky, they knew her older brother and that would get her some credit. She looked oddly at Makoto when the woman said her age. When Makoto finished Eve gave her details.

"My full name is Eve Reinhart. I was born may 22, the year 617 AD, in england. I have one child, born 19 years ago named Julia Reinhart. I am human. I have an older brother named jensen Reinhart, who is a captain in the gotei, you can ask him if you dont believe who i am, because i may not be in your data base.. We didn't have computers back in my day." Eve was very polite when she said all of this. Makoto's sudden announcement of Alternate messures in five minutes worried her a little though. Hopefully this would be sorted out, or they could both end up in trouble.

Before clicking send on his cell, Hunt looked agitated as he heard that Makoto spoke about different measures to somehow get into the Coalition building. Though Hunt didn't bother to say anything as of yet as modern technology did its work, the information being sent straight to the public database, as the information was scoured and pulled apart, Hunt ignored the fact that the woman known as Makoto said she was under three hours of age. Seeing as she was near the entrance, Hunt didn't even bother to stop her, the lobby was public, anyone could waltz right in if they wanted, but unless she started being a nuisance and broke through the security area then Hunt would have a problem. A problem Hunt did not want or need, knowing it would be on his head if either of the two did something illegal.

"I don't know any of the people you stated, both of you, but I have heard the odd rumors here or there about Rena, Kaze and Jensen." The phone then beeped as it displayed a short list of data, Makoto's coming up negative for her name, but her family checked out. Eve on the underhand didn't have anything in the public database. Hunt hated to have to babysit the two walking through the Coalition building, but it was something he had to do if he wanted to keep out of trouble. "They do not pay me enough for this..." He cussed under his breath as he walked up the few steps to the main entrance, seeing as Makoto didn't give off much if any body signals. "Come on you two, I'm not waiting, and seeing as I'm off the job in an hour I'm not going to play cat and mouse with information, both of you follow me..." Opening the door Hunt let himself in waiting for the two to follow, which they probably would. The tanned teenager not even holding the door open, being not in the mood to do anything extra at the moment. Walking across the short lobby, he reached over the empty receptionist desk and grabbed two blank applications, clipboards, and pens.

"Fill these out as we walk, neither of you in the system, so I will simply add you into it manually using these, which will be put into a paper basket, then some pencil pusher up top will put you two in the system. Consider this being on a waiting list to be recruited." across to the security area, Hunt opened the electronic door waiting for his guests to follow. The man planning on heading over to a small open gym, which had a small side office. Hunt roaming through the hallways as he opened another door to the empty gym, which only had one receptionist on duty. Hunt decided to do an informal interview on both of them. "Alright, Eve you wanted to join the healing sector correct? Mark that down on the application along with the other legal jargon, that the Coalition is not held responsible for you dying in the field, and all that jazz. Now Makoto your relatives check out as existing, albeit there are a few quirks in the system, I'll give the benefit of the doubt, because I honestly want to go home at the end of the day without having to file another report on a broken object." Hunt waited for their replies.

Makoto had the papers filled out in a matter of seconds.. She already knew everything that was on the form, as Rena had seen one in the past, and didn't even seem to pay attention as she filled out the sector she wanted the rank she wanted and everything else the blasted thing asked for. She was more interested in being told she was part of the coalition so she could go out and find a way to be useful while having a place to recover in safety.

"Magic Squad, Low Rank.."

She kept pace but stayed behind Eve. She didn't want to draw any possible attention to herself at the moment..she was too deep in thought to do more than keep track of Eve's spiritual energy so she didn't take a wrong turn or bump into someone.. Between joining the coalition..finding her other half.. and finding a way to reunite into their original self.. Makoto had her mind busy with things now that she was actually inside the Coalition..

worst case scenario she went and looked for someone Rena knew within the coalition and get them to recognize her spiritual energy as Rena's. That could help her get things rolling more quickly... However.. something was bothering her.

"Warning.. Anomaly Detected." She said as she stopped and looked straight up at the ceiling. She had detected a powerful human based energy signature but the nature of the power felt completely different from everything she had ever felt before. She didn't know it but she had detected Rin, the current leader who was asleep in her quarters after doing massive paperwork loads left by Lance when he left, "Unknown human-based energy detected." She looked back down at Hunt now and actually looked confused, "Source?"

Eve chuckled. "Its nice to know you take responsibility for your casualties." She said slightly sarcastic. She filled out the form regardless, IF she did end up dead it wouldn't harm to many people, her daughter stopped talking to her, her brother was already dead and she had no one else to worry about.

Eve filled out the form as they walked, using her special senses to avoid bumping people as she walked. She did glance up every now and then just to make sure she didn't walk into a desk or trip on a wayward waste basket. Makoto had finished her form much quicker than Eve, she noticed.

Makoto suddenly stopped and stared up, pointing out she detected something strange. Eve felt it too, though it didn't worry her. If it was dangerous, the building would be in an uproar. Still she looked to hunt for an explenation too.

Hearing glass break across the hall, Hunt shuddered at the thought of another form to fill out, trying his best to ignore the feeling of impending paper work, the bronzed man took both sheets of paper from the women, taking a quick jog to a box he dropped the papers into it before jogging back in a few seconds. "There, the boring work is over with. Now I just need-" Hunt stopped as he heard another thing break across the hall, this time something initially more fragile, perhaps a vase. He wanted to check the room across but figured it was not worthwhile, seeing as the one known as Makoto started asking questions.

"I don't see how a warning is really needed, but whatever... that's the new leader of the Coalition from what I've heard anyways, haven't seen her, nor do I really care. If you are going to visit the leader don't break jack squat, use the stairs or an elevator like a normal minded person." Turning his head back across the hall Hunt didn't sense anyone in their but shrugged it off as he heard footsteps coming down the hall and stopping abruptly, in their wake another small thing hit the floor with a thud. "Excuse me... one moment..." Hunt spoke to the two, not even turning his eyes towards the both of them as he swiftly exited the small room and peaked out the door. Only to regret that decision the very next second, as a sprinting Albatross ran right through the hallway stepping on Hunt's foot by accident on the what across the building. The sinner carrying a stack of boxes of computer equipment, a few of the boxes having been dropped alogn the way to wherever Alba was headed in the building.

"GAH! What the hell is going on today!" Hunt yelped as he jumped backwards holding his foot that was in immense pain. "Damn, damn, damn!" Pausing for a moment trying to regain his composure, Hunt looked back at the two recruits, straightening his posture as if nothing had happened, Hunt moved back to where he was standing originally, deciding it was safer to not let his curiosity get the best of him for the rest of today. However, at the same moment Hunt thought to himself about how he was going to get back at Alba later, though that was a different time. "Alright, I really cannot do anything much more than this, if you have any questions or requests I can see what I can do." Hunt spoke whimsically as he lifted his foot up and massaged it slightly, knowing that the damn sinner broke something with that much weight.
