Basic Information

Name: Kurama (Shuuichi Minamino)

True Age: 19/1000+ (he’s 19 but his actual age is over 1000 years old.)

Personality:
Kurama in general is a very loving, kind, intellectual person; he enjoys being around others and he tends to form strong bonds which aren’t easily broken, not even in death. He is very reserved when it comes to his own personal problems and feelings, yet he enjoys talking with others and hearing how they feel no matter who they are. In truth Kurama is always hiding something and doesn’t reveal it either because of fear or because of the results of his secrets. In public or on a regular base, Kurama is very calm, gentle and graceful on his feet always willing to give advice, help others, and especially assist captains who are in need of extra assistance or who do not have a lieutenant. He isn’t easily angered, but he reacts on instinct and there are certainly a few qualities that make him uncomfortable or who easily make him angered and uneasy which has nothing to do with liking the person unless he personally says he doesn’t like them. Though he doesn’t judge, he always gives a piece of advice and will always be quite rational with others not often showing his stubborn side. He doesn’t seem to like getting wet, but he says that he prefers the winter because of the snow.

He rarely judges a character by their first meeting unless a bond was formed even if it was a bad acquaintance; to actually get Kurama to dislike someone they must have really had to offend him or his friends in some way. He is always willing to offer help and as well always willing to learn something new that could improve himself and his abilities. He shows great respect towards those with more knowledge then himself and would often compliment when he is interested or when something catches his attention. Despite how he presents himself, Kurama is quite cunning mischievous often sneaking into squad 12 barracks in order to do or use something for his own purpose. Having the capacity of being the perfect squad 12 member; Kurama only uses his intelligence when he wants or needs something, but since he doesn’t want anybody knowing his capacity he keeps it a secret. Being an ex-theft he deeply enjoys cracking security codes, locks, hacking into advanced systems, and anything on the list; he is fully capable of conducting experiments, but he refuses to do so unless it is very necesary. He doesn’t seem to like to eat much, having a bad digestive system; he doesn’t like food unless they’re really good at cooking.

Around his friends, Kurama is freer with himself showing much more of his feelings through expressions instead of words since words really don’t come easy for him. He also seems to show his fox side more openly seeing as though he doesn’t judge his friends and he doesn’t expect his friends to judge him either. His fox side is much craftier, devious, and as well cunning; he tends to act more fox like. Most individuals who don’t know him would be quite surprised to see him teasing or chastising; he gives advice, but he doesn’t usually chastise unless he finds them close enough to do so and as for teasing, he doesn’t normally tease acquaintances. He is shown to be easily offended and as well as stubborn, he gets hurt very easily from those near him and as well capable of raising his tone which he would not do not even to an enemy. The reason he would raise his voice to a friend and not a foe, is because he finds it worthless to waist his breath on an enemy when a friend would cherish it. In general Kurama is a very devoted and loving friend who would do anything for his friends unless it deals with hurting others and especially another friend.

At work, he is very territorial with his captain Riku Tomoshibi; he would be very rebellious towards any captain that would try to take his place and if it is because someone had any affection for the captain he would often show his jealous side being a bit spiteful, mischievous, and if it’s really bad then he may even mistreat the person which rarely happens. Besides his unconscious territory, Kurama is a very hard worker always finishing his tasks without a care if he likes it or not. Always taking much more work than what he can handle, he always finishes all his work on time. He is very devoted to his work and would do everything in his power to follow up with it; however he has difficulties following something that could harm his friends. His friend’s lives being on the line may be his greatest flaws, however during these times Kurama would react more on intellect unless deeply angered which is where he would react on impulse. Kurama would risk his life for anyone, it doesn’t matter if he knows or doesn’t know the person; his job is to protect and that’s what he does. When encountering a foe, Kurama is known to give opportunities and as well try to reason unless given a strict order to do otherwise which rarely occurs. Being nonracist he is calm with any race, but canines and anamorphic that makes him nervous, he possess vast knowledge of races and would use them to help his resolves.

Likes: Kurama loves biology, plants (roses in particular), studying, experimenting, hacking and especially breaking codes since he used to be a theft. He also enjoys lending a helping hand and or solving problems for people. He really wants to be forgiven for everything he has done in his past and he is willing to go out of his way to repay his debt. He also seems to have a huge crush on his captain and enjoys being around and teasing his friends.

Fears: Kurama is very afraid of Central 46 since it was because of their decisions, he had lost his whole group of bandits that he had considered his family and he also fears them because of the punishment he was given. He is also claustrophobic since he was confined in a small dark room for many years before he was executed. After dying a terrible death he was sent to Hell because of how evil he was and all the sins he had committed. His greatest fear is probably to go back there again. He also earned a new fear of being rejected by his captain; since he has deep feelings for him he is afraid of him not returning his affection.

Physical Traits:

After dying and being reborn again, Kurama appears to be a young adolescent; he has a lean thin body with a pinkish skin tone. He pretty much resembles a divine red rose for he has bright emerald green eyes and as well long vibrant red hair. He is occasionally mistaken for a female because of his delicate features such as his slightly round face, his thick long eyelashes and as well for his natural soft aroma of roses. His crimson red hair has bangs which fall just below his eyes with two long forelocks on both shoulder while the rest of his silky hair rest on his back. He normally wears his hair loose, but occasionally he would wear a pony tail or have a scrunchy tied at the tip to form a distinctive dolphin-tail split; though he is seen to have quite skill with hair treatment as he was able to use a single pencil to tie his long hair up and fight without it coming off. His eyes though large and innocent it can quickly change depending on the mood he’s in, narrowing and sharpening when provoked or seductive when emotional. However his most distinctive features are his fox like appearance. He has two big fox ears that are the color black without shikai and then white during shikai, he has fluffy fox tail that is longer than his body that is a bright orange with a white tip, black paw like feet which stops at his ankles and black sharp claw like fingernails.

Kurama standard shinigami outfit consists a tight long sleeved kosode which opens up at the bottom, black tight shorts in replace of the hakama, white sash, long boot like black tabi which barely reaches his knees and is open in the tip revealing Kurama’s front paws and a waraji. He always wears his bell around his neck like a choker or in his hair, while his lieutenant’s badge is either worn as a choker, tied to his sash, dangling from his sash or dangling from his hair. He also wears a pair of brown fingerless gloves, two extra sash that are brown and crisscross each other at the bottom of his hakama both capable of holding multiple items such as seeds hairpins etc in the winter, Kurama’s shorts change into black tights and his black tabi is white. He is also known for wearing a tail ring at the tip of his tail where the white of fluff starts.

Besides his standard uniform, Kurama is seen wearing other outfits, but he normally tends to stay formal unless he’s going out to have fun.

Accessories:
His big gold bell, (the bell is pretty big and gold as the ribbon like lace is a bright red.) two sashes that are covered with pockets filled with mini first aid material, seeds, hairpins, nail filer, pocketknife, and small things one would keep just in case there was an emergency. Fighting Style


General Fighting Style:

At the start of a battle Kurama will almost always give his enemies the opportunity to leave solving the problem with logic before just plainly attacking. This does not apply to orders that are strictly given to him, though at times even then he has the guts to ask a person to leave. During combat Kurama is quite calculative, cunning and analytical; he always tries to point out or find a weakness in his opponent's abilities or fighting style and exploit them to his advantage. The weakness of this is that in his attempt to understand and come up with a way to defeat his opponent, he tends to go easy on his opponent at first and is often injured. Despite this he knows very well how to block certain blows by using his body to avoid direct attacks. Kurama is very flexible at how he fights, being able to cope with most deadly situations even when he's cornered. Being an ex-sinner Kurama has an inert ability to conceal his emotions completely in the face of adversity; this uncommon ability to shun all emotions and shine a blank slate, thinking three to four steps ahead to clutch the pinch and seize control of the situation coupled with his vast intelligence, his detached emotional state is perhaps one of his greatest asset. Kurama has molded himself into a master strategist, tactician, and analyst; he is able to carefully look past his feelings and see the real situation at hand. In battle, while his preference is to concoct strategies based on deduction of his opponents' abilities and fighting style, his natural battle instincts are also highly tuned. He is capable of slashing another person's head off in just an instant, relying only on impulse. However, his care for his friends and his love for his family are the backbone of his fighting drive.

Strengths:
Vast Stamina: Kurama has proven to show vast stamina outlasting a captain’s leveled regular stamina. Knowing well how to pace himself, he is able to last a long time in the battlefield even in fatigue state. This alongside his durability is one of his biggest traits.

Vast Durability: this does not mean rock hard skin; Kurama just has the capacity to take a good beating. Beat him, smash him, break his bones; he will still stand back up and come back for more. He will be in pain and he could die, but he will still come back at the person.

Fox (kitsune) tributes: Natural speed, this does not meen shunpo; his shunpo is normal, but he is very agile without shunpo because of his animal like parts. Given the paws he has, he is able to run across sand, mud and slippery areas with ease and as well up walls, rocks and buildings.
Enhanced senses: this includes hearing, smelling, seeing, tasting, feeling, sensing and even emitting fox like sounds. Once he has a scent he is able to track it down.
Enhanced Reflexes: such as reaction timing and perfect balance.
Natural strength: using his body he is able to send his same tier flying with a solid punch, though he does not use hand to hand combat, he is capable. This enhanced strength does not count with heavy weight lifting, pushing and carrying heavy stuff is not his vale.

Master Swordsman Specialist: since he’s able to use anything and everything around him as a weapon from a solid hairpin to weeds; he has great knowledge in weaponry and it’s doings and so when given any weapon he is able to use it with skill even if it’s not a zanpakutou. His zanpakutou takes the form of a whip which grants Kurama the ability to attack several points at the same time as defending himself.

Elemental resistance: he is naturally 25% resistant towards plant like abilities/ plantation which includes plant like poisons and as well as plant like bacteria. He is also 15% resistant towards light and water because of his plant like abilities. A plant needs both sun and water to survive thus doesn’t necessarily work against him.

Weaknesses:
Weak digestive system: having a weak digestive system Kurama is weak around the pelvic region and will be in a lot of pain once impaled.

Fire, Ice, poison: all kills plants and thus Kurama takes double the damaged from these three abilities. Abilities that are only half of the three, Kurama takes the damage and a half plus more instead of the full double.

Fox (kitsune) tributes: being a fox he has instincts and at times he will react upon it, having a tail he is able to lose balance if it’s broken. Abilities which involve the senses are more prone to working rather than failing or missing since he has advanced senses. However being a kitsune this does not include illusions and making him go mad will bring out his sinner self.

Kidou: he can use some kidou, but he’s must use enchantment or he cannot use them. There is only a few kidou’s he can use since he graduated early from the academy and as well because he wanted to take his sweet time perfecting each one.

Kindness: this gives enemies the opportunity to back stab though it does not work in bankai; it works in shikai only, once an enemy begs for his life or if an enemy plays his feelings than Kurama will let them go which gives them the perfect chance for a back stab. Because in both bankai and toukai his character changes it doesn’t really work and this is also minor in shikai if the enemy had done something to hurt his friends.

Zanpakuto & Kidou


Sealed Appearance:
Disguised as a rose, it's a wakizashi style Zanpakuto with plant like vines that surround the handle of the zanpakuto.

Spirit’s Name: Inari Rose, goddess of nature

Spirit’s Appearance:
Rose is a silver nine tailed fox with vines that surround her legs, and red roses all over her nine tails. She has narrowed pretty cyan eyes that give her a cold appearance and she seems very feisty. She has lovely fur coat and is big enough to actually ride.

In bankai she is a 5’7’’ paled woman with long silver hair and blood red lips. She wears a white gown with a nature like appearance as she had leaves and roses all over her; in addition to this, she had white fox ears and nine tails all bearing red petals. Her gown was somewhat see through, but most of her body seemed to have been covered in vines. Her eyes in addition to Youko are cyan and her claws are blood red.

Spirit’s Personality:
Rose is very cruel, vindictive, and extremely jealous. She is also selfish and resembles Youko's personality. She seems to lack empathy as her first thought on any situation is to kill. Despite Kurama's calm personality she is very viscous and deeply enjoys the suffering in others. She is practically known for a blood thirsty killer. She also deeply enjoys being shown off and acknowledged for her beauty, she lets out a rose like aroma every time she is summoned. Rose hates it when her plants are burned or whither which occasionally happens in Kurama's inner world when Kurama is under a great deal of stress or under an emotional issue. She also has a thing for picking on Kurama though she admires his bankai state which was his true form before being reborn. She is shown to be very witty and tends to be a bit distrustful though she deeply enjoys children and wouldn’t harm a child unless she is weild to.

Inner World:

Kurama's Inner World is a beautiful magical forest full of life, trees, plants, a waterfall, a meadow and swarms of gorgeous flowers. Depending on his mood the time frame changes from morning evening or night time. Kurama's inner world is almost always night time, he appears to look like is older self yet his attitude doesn't change. He isn't very comfortable in his inner world unless Rose is in a good mood, which she rarely is. There is an area that the plants did not grow; everything in that area looks burned and dead. In the center of that area is a dead tree which Kurama’s sinner-self Youko Kurama is sealed with the Kurama’s red headed appearance.

Call Out Command: Rose Whip

Appearance:
The released form is a whip like zanpakuto; the handle of the zanpakuto becomes green and red while the blade is a 7 ft. vine with blade like thorns that are able to cut through even the toughest hierro’s. This weapon can burn due to the fact that it is a plant, but since the handle cannot be burned then just by manipulating his spirit energy the whip can regrow back to its original form as the thorn like blades are replaced by newer blades. However the blades that are on the floor are able to be manipulated and launched directly towards the target. Once released, Kurama's animal features become silver as it resembles his past self.

Abilities:
Kurama gains the ability to manipulate plants, in this form he is able to talk to plants here the plants and even transform them into deadly weapons; weeds can transform into a deadly weapon for Kurama. He is immune by plant type summons, however he cannot divert them back towards the owner, (Cause of godmodding) but he can simply stop them unless mixed with another element. He is 20 % resistant towards water and light abilities. despite having plant powers, he isn't limited towards concrete or deserted areas. his plants are strong enough to break through concrete and as well create a forest in dried up areas.

Photosynthesis: For three posts Kurama contrast photosynthesis slowly regeneration his spiritual pressure with a 2 post cool down. This ability doesn’t rely on just sun light; as long as there is carbon dioxide in the air and/or if water is near he is always able to use this ability.

Rose bullet: Kurama is able to summon a vibrant rose and then forcefully shoot it at the target. These have the speed of a bala and as well as a similar event besides leaving behind small thorns that get stuck in the skin.

Seed Bomb: Kurama slams a barrage of hard-shelled seeds down on the target it has a two post cool down with the effect of a kidou 30.

Stun spore: Kurama’s body is able to shake off or launch a powder which doesn’t paralyze the body, but it leaves them unsteady. For those that attempt to break his tail, may succeed yet they are prone towards getting the full effect of the stun spore. This will effect, the brain causing an opponent to feel dazed as one’s vision would be uneasy, legs would wobble causing one to stagger and high fever are the symptoms for this. This will last three posts with fever going away by five posts if it is by his tail, however the one he launches lasts only a post while fever leaves after three. Once with a three post cool down unless he is pulled by the tail. The tail can only be unleashed once unless the target is willing to take another tug at it.

Thorn Wheel: Kurama draws the whip and swings it around him in a circle, as rose petals scatter around and catch his opponent’s attention, while the wheel created from the whip unleashes crescent-shaped sharp blades released from the thorns on the whip.

Rose whip lash: Kurama swiftly slashes the whip in multiple directions.

Petals and Thorns are executed via a whirlwind of razor-sharp rose petals materializing in the palm of Kurama's hand and then swirling around him. If an opponent/attacker gets within the fifteen ratius range, the petals attack and rip them to shreds. Kurama mainly uses this technique as a barrier or to take out large numbers of weaker enemies. It is very similar to Byakuya's ability.
Seed of the Distruction : This is a small seed that Kurama releases into the ground, it instantly sprouts taking a form of many thorns that lash out towards his opponent in attempt to stab them and or squeeze them to death as the thorns sink into there skin. Opponents with supernatural stregth can rip the plants apart and off their body, but it could be painful since the blade like thorns would sink deeper into the skin. This attack is also easily cut with an unleashed zanpakuto.

Accelerated Growth: Kurama is able to speed up the rate of growth of plants, allowing him to create a forest in mere seconds as a means of hiding himself. He can also control the plants he grew to do certain tasks. This is what he uses to regrow his weapon once it is either burned or snapped.

Death Trap: the Death Trap is a hybred of a venus flytrap and a mimosa plant that looks like many giant man eating plants. When grown, it mutates into a creature that responds to movements or heat by closing its leaves around its prey and crushing it to death. It is a carnivorous plant with an acidic saliva capable of melting flesh and bone easily. This move is very draining and is only used as a last resort, normally only 6 or 7 appear. This can be cut, but beware the more you cut the more that appears unless it is destroyed by the roots. (it is by two's, so if you cut 3, 6 more will apear; if you cut 4, 8 will appear, etc.) Last up to 2-3 post depending on how tired Kurama is.

Petal dance: is as strong as a kidou 62, it launches a rampage of numerous red razor sharp petals at the target in attempt to shred them apart. This is one blast which has a two post cool down.

New Name: Inari Rose

Appearance:
Kurama Youko10
Kurama transform’s into Youko, who is about 7' tall and has golden eyes, prominent silver fox-ears, as well as a silver fox tail and long flowing silver hair. He has a pale pallid skin tone in comparison towards Kurama’s pink one and wears a white sleeveless yukata that resembles a toga, along with matching martial arts pants and shoes. He also has plant like vines that give him more of a mythical like appearance as it comes down from his hair and in some parts of his body as seen in the picture. He keeps his seeds hidden in his hair and in his tail and though not details he is able to do the craziest things with his seeds.

When he first appears an automatic mist floods the area making it a bit dificult to see as his reitsu sparks in the mist. this mist allows the fox to fully conceal himself and his scent seeing as though the mist is everyone thus making his reistu everywhere.

The zanpakutou becomes two strange gold metal wrist bands, one on each arm and a gold tail ring that is located at the end of his white fluffy tail. they are gold with plant like vines on it, this allows him to not only manipulate plants with ease, but also releases three razor circular saw blades that would appear over the his wrists and tail. In this state he is an expert in hand to hand combat.

Abilities:
Razor rings: due to his zanpakutou that are his gold wrist bands and his tail ring, he is able to create three razors on each wrist that are the size of a Frisbee and launch it at his opponents. However the one on his tail does not shoot out rings, but it does emit razor sharp teeth giving the ring a form of a saw blade vector. He uses this to attack people who attempt to attack him from behind.

Razor blade: instead of making three rings, he makes one big one on both side of his wrist's that are launched out at the enemies and follows them until hit, deflected or destroyed it has the effect of a cero.

Dead-Plant manipulation: Kurama is able to make almost any plant into a deadly weapon, weeds can become knives as tree's become alive. This takes two post's to charge and last for ten post's with a three post cool down. In this form even if the plants were burned he can continue to use the burned roots to fight.

Okunenju root: a giant tree appears as the battle field is taken up into it's roots. Youko is able to suck reistu from it's surrounding and give it towards himself through out the leaves of the tree. he is also able to control the branches into targeting his opponents. it takes two post to take root and last for fifteen post with a ten post cool down. the tree also produces a special fruit that gives Kurama a two post boost of reiatsu. he is able to take a fruit every 2 posts but it adds a little more tactics then just be constantly receiving reiatsu, but if the fruit is bitten by an enemy then the fruit with explode its absorbed reiatsu in the mouth. this would only work for Kurama unless he is willing to use it on someone else, which rarely happens with youko's atitude.

Tremor: Kurama is able to summon two of them, they are both tiered at 2-5 and they last up to 5 post's unless they are destroyed. they requires a post to charge and three post to cool down. they don't see, but they can hear and feel any movement as they travel underground. They try to eat people, the outside skin of the tremor is strong and will do blunt damage to those it charges into. The inside of the tremor mouth only has 3 big teeth so if they only bite the person then they will still take damage. The inside of the tremor is a tube of blades. They are evenly spaced 2 feet apart from each other, left right up and down. The inside of the tremor however is squishy, as long as the person blocked or dodge the blades inside enough to still live (they would of course, unless they want to kill the character) then they could cut their way out with relative ease

reistun: by absorbing the light of the sun (or moon) just like a plant and mixes it with the reistu of the area, he is able to create a blinding blast that is almost compared to gran rey cero. It requires five post's to cool down.

Youko is able to transfer into a nine tailed fox that is capable of carrying up to three or four people, it looks just like the picture but white. He is able to launch energy balls of reistu from it's mouth that has the speed and effect of bala. Since in human form he is able to launch razors, in his kistune form his teeth and claws become the razors making him able to tear at it's opponents flesh with his bare teeth or with his claws. it last's for five post with a two post cool down.

hollow of death:

A huge dead looking tree appears in the center of the battle field. This tree allows Youko to control dead or burned plants for it is an ability of the underworld, an inheritance Youko received from dwelling in hell. For three post the tree does nothing but take root and allow Youko to use dead plants. but after the three post, the hole of the tree opens up leading the opponents into a passage to a hellish nightmare for the core of this dead tree is filled with countless bodies and a pool of blood, it is also filled with the illusion of the dead people that were killed by anyone who is on the battle field. It doesn't matter who is fighting who, anyone who has died or was killed in your life would appear as and illusion unless they really are in hell. (or unless they are an hinrichten) for six sickening post they are to fight in the bloody pit of hell. The smell is so putrid and rotten that it could make a foe puke from how disgusting it is. The dead move and speak but they cannot harm the opponent. This ability then has a five post to cool down.

delusion: being a spirit fox, Youko can covert himself into the opponents worse feared person or loved one, but it has to be a person not a thing or an object. During a two on one combat he is able to confuse the opponents by making them believe that one of them is him while he is one of them, this last until he is caught or until the five posts’ is up. Sadly this effect could effect anyone in the battlefield and isn't suggested during a two on two battle. This requires a three post cool down and if he was caught then it is useless.

Cut throat meadow: Kurama is able to summon a field of sharp grass which has the effects of poison ivy as they cut the legs of their victim’s legs. Kurama ensnares the target with grass; they don’t move however it isn’t bright to trip, the heavier the target the greater the damage. When used with its water or when it’s raining, its damage increases into a vast swamp. He is also able to use some of the grass as an instrument which is used to play a pleasurable melody which causes drowsiness. The meadow is a battlefield, however the playable grass can be uses once every three posts while the drowsiness lasts for two posts.

Kurama looks very similar towards the picture above; he is an anamorphic kitsune standing at 3’7’’ and weighing only 48 lbs, he is pure white with his left eye gold while his right eye is green. His nails are red and pretty sharp and his body is quite fluffy. His hair is silver and quite long with a bell tied at the tip to form a distinctive dolphin-tail split. He wears the same uniform as his standard shinigami outfit, but it’s made out of the legendary Albino "Fire-Rat Fur (Hinezumi)" which is said to be fire proof. The outfit is white and the kosode reaches his forearm while his black part of the outfit such as his shorts and opened toed tabi is aqua green. He has an addition of an aqua colored sash, red bow and red ribons that dangle with bells at the end. He doesn’t have the gloves or the waraji, but it is replaced with glowing rings and more bells.
His personality is a mix of Shuuichi and Youko, for one thing he has Kurama’s kind, sweet and loving self and as well as Youko’s cold cut throat cold side. Kurama tends to act just like a fox; however with knowledge of his surroundings. He is very jumpy and is somewhat adorable, but behind his face he is more dangerous than both Kurama and Youko put together as he also gains part of roses personality.

Abilities:
In this form Kurama is a master in hand to hand combat and poses vast strength and speed much more so than both shikai and bankai combined (matching up with a tier aboves). Despite his height, he is able to fist fight an opponent twice his height with ease. Size means nothing in this state, he is also able to use all of his abilities from shikai and bankai alongside his abilities to control all plants which include, dead plants, burned plants, etc. if it’s a plant, he is able to manipulate it though he does gain some special abilities. Besides this, he has two weapons his shikai weapon which now comes from his fingers and as well as his bankai razors from his golden rings.

Twisted Thorn: he has ten in total, one attached to each one of his fingers. He is able to manipulate them as far as he wants and even change its corse of direction. The throned whip if burned becomes barbed wires and they move like snakes as they are able to easily scar even the toughest hierro. by shooting five of the thorn whip into the ground, the vines are able to travel at a high velocity and come from right under the target and attempt to stab and wrap the target towards there death. This ability is a bit colorful for Kurama was known in the past to rip targets apart in the most creative of ways such as down the throat, in between the legs or even pulled apart from like a Barbie doll.

Dead rose: it’s a more powerful version of the rose bullet’s, however they have the same speed with the power of a cero.

Cherry blossom trees; three large trees are formed around Kurama with petals that burst off and spin rapid storms with vast speed and sharpness like a zanpakutou sword; it is almost like an elegant version of a hado 90 with a three post cool down.

Reitsu Drain: this can only work on energy based abilities which are all kidou 73, cero or bala’s and energy based abilities equivalent towards a kidou 50 and below. He sucks the reitsu and can either restore his own energy or drop down a cool down post for a specific ability which must be stated before using; this has a three post cool down.

Mystic spore: this spore confuses opponents from releasing flora into the air. It doesn’t work against those who have bad smell as it is very similar towards pollen. Being in the air one has to breathe it. The confusion makes it difficult for opponents to use energy based abilities for three posts, because of this confusion most of these abilities are prone to missing. Kurama can do this once every four posts, however this effects everyone but Kurama in a 20 radius.

Cotton guard: Kurama wraps specific soft cotton around his body which drastically raises his defense and allows him to stand over heated areas as well as his strength and speed are boosted x3 for five posts with a three post cool down.

Cotton spore: is very sticky and causes the target to cling to other objects reducing a third of one’s original speed. These last two posts with a four post cool down.

Leaf storm: Kurama whips up a storm of leaves around the target by encircling it in sharp leaves. These sharp-edged leaves are much larger than the petals and as well have a 20 radius which last a post with a three post cool down.

Solar Beam: by gathering light, Kurama is able to than blast a bundled beam on his second post which is equivalent towards a cero oscuras with the exception of being pure light and made of reitsu. This has a post charge with a three post cool down.

Background:

Ancestors

Zurui (Sly) Kurama was born in district 78 way before the academy was created; he was born from a poor mother whom had died giving birth to him in the world of the living. Zurui during this time was a very loving child; however in the making of the academy it caused a few skilled students to roam around often bullying him; however he paid no head as they were to be the generation of shinigami whom were going to protect them from hollows. Unfortunately as the time came to protect, the early students were not prepared enough to take on the hollow. A hollow attacked district 78 and destroyed Zurui’s house alongside sevearly injuring his mother. The students whom were supposed to be heroes were afraid and coward as they ran for help. Zurui reacting to save him mother received a terrible wound, but achieved a zanpakutou. Miyuki, Zurui’s mother was greatly ill after the assault and without money there was no way she was going to survive. In order to save his mother, Zurui grew a talent for thieving bringing home food, water and multiple types of medicine which did no good for his mother. Alas in the end his mother died and Zurui was left alone.

Receiving a letter for the academy, Zurui took it as a way to get vengeance. He attended the academy and not only learned how to control his powers, but as well as he gained friends who soon became powerful allies. In the end, over two hundred students mysteriously vanished. Living away from society, Zurui became the leader of the group whom were going to take over soul society and as well as secretly protect the Rukongai. It was throughout time that there secret group was confronted by central 46 whom casted a spell on them plaguing them with monstrosity appearances so that the rukongai would fear them instead of accept their help. In doing this, Zurui became a kitsune and his children and their children would all bare the same fate as him. Having nothing to eat and being mistreated by those whom were once friends. Zurui’s peaceful group became bandits though they didn’t harm others as they formed a family becoming much larger as a group. Zurui met a lovely lady whom belonged towards the lowest class and brought her to become his. Her name was Inari and she the most beautiful lady in the whole rukongai district.

Inari was kind and loving and even graceful defining and resembling a red rose in every detail; she was able to create beautiful flowers and exotic plants out of nothing. However there was someone in central 46 that also wanted her. After stealing Zurui’s wife and having his way with her, Zurui than became violent and vicious. He couldn’t believe that Central 46 with all the riches in the world had to steal the one thing Zurui held most dearly. Becoming bitter, Zurui than gained the tittle, the legendary bandit causing all kinds of mayham for his wife and especially stealing priceless objects from the royals. However he could not seem to find his wife. In the end when he finally finds the man who stole his wife, it is revealed that Inari spirit was formed into a zanpakutou so that they will never be together. In the end Zurui is killed in front of his son Touketsu by the zanpakutou which held his mother’s spirit.

Touketsu, filled with grudge reformed his whole team against soul society and for almost a thousand years they plagued it with violent acts not caring about other residents or for the consequences. Working more so like a mafian group. Touketsu unlike his father had children all over the place and yet as many as he had, they died every day. It made him even more resentful and yet watching the man whom murdered his father, he noticed that he had a beautiful yet strong daughter. Using the young lady, he stole her virginity and left her pregnant. Her father was to kill her, but instead kept it a secret as to not dishonor his name.

Life in Rukongai

Youko was born without a last name and was kept in the royals as a servant boy; he was different from the other children consisting silver hair, gold eyes and as well as a fox like appearance bearing fox eras, claws and a fluffy tail. He had three older half-brothers whom mistreated him and as well as his grandfather would countless times scold him for no reason at all. His step father hated him; he believed that his wife was raped and could not accept the fact that she had committed adultery. Despite this, his mother was his only escape, the only one whom protected him. Mai was also a servent girl around his age, the two were great friends however she was sold and he never saw her again. Being kept inside away from the outside world and being abused, Youko began to become rebellious often getting punished for talking back. After the strange death of his mother (whom wanted to take her children and leave) Youko’s abuse continued until a horrible incident with his grandfather sent him into hiding. Hiding for days in a dark room, he heard a voice coming from a strange small Katana he had never seen before. The voice called him and told him to run.

Taking the sword he ran away from home and into the slums of the Rukongai; in his run away he was confronted by hollows and with his zanpakutou he used shikai for the first time. Because of his sudden burst in energy, he was found by a group of bandits whom took him towards their Leader Touketsu. Everyone is astonished by the two look alike; however Touketsu was not aware of Youko’s existence and so he was quite pleased. Taking him in, he showed him no mercy and taught him that the world was cold and selfish and that the only way he was going to survive was becoming worse. Youko soon took the name Youko Kurama after his father’s sudden disappearance, still being a mere child he lead the bandits and earned his title Youko Kurama, the legendary theft. Having education, Youko was much more cunning and swift on his feet; being quite calculative he spent his time learning the arts of locks and such gaining a reputation of “King of Thieves” being wanted fox. During this time, Mai Youko’s friend was used against him; however before they could catch him, Mai betrayed her master and was killed for her actions. It is because of this Youko never dared looked at another woman ever again.

A strange acquaintance

One day while Youko was stealing near the academy, he was caught and injured in a deadly trap. It was the first time Youko felt very uneasy as he was caught with no way out. And as if things couldn't get any more worse, he was encountered by a young shinigami around his age. The shinigami seemed very indecisive as he took a good look at Youko, he was probably surprised that the legendary theft was a young teenage fox. Despite his fear Youko kept a deadly glare at that would make even the toughest man shiver. The shinigami was a bit intimidated yet held a strong expression as he took out his zanpakuto. Youko thought it was all over as the weapon was held up and dropped down. Amazingly, he felt no impact; gold eyes opened to realize that the shinigami had actually released him, despite his confusion Youko sprinted away never to be seen again by the shinigami for the next couple of years.

During those years, Youko could not forget that soul reaper. He didn't like not understanding people, and especially not understanding why he let him go. His curiousity got the best of him as he began to analyze and stalk the soul reaper. The shinigami proved to be very interesting on many occasions such as his personality and the way he was in his squad. One day during a terrible attack on the soul society, the shinigami was under attacked and almost killed if it wasn't that Youko decided to pay back his debt and save the shinigami’s life. The shinigami was very confused that the legendary bandit Youko Kurama had actually saved his life. Because of this act the shinigami befriended the fox; it took decades of hard work to get Youko to trust him, but still the shinigami was Youko's first friend in over 300 years.

For almost two centuries the two of them were the best of friends, till one day the shinigami gained a higher position. The shinigami visited Youko less and less making the fox very jealous. Till finally Youko decided to visit his friend. Youko slowly learned that the reason for his friends disappearance was because the soul reaper was not only third seat of squad 12 but also in love with one of the other shinigami's. Out of jealousy Youko confronted the love pair and got the two love birds into an argument. It finally came to a harsh decision where the shinigami had to choose between his girlfriend and his best friend. Youko not wanted to know the shinigami's answer left pretending to be annoyed but was actually scared to death to be rejected. Days later during Youko's regular round trips his friend caught up with him and apologized for being a jerk. Youko was slightly embarrassed and also apologized for being jealous. Upon hearing Youko's apology, the shinigami had his eyes wide opened slightly making Youko uneasy.

The years went by and as much as his best friend continued to make time for their friendship, Youko felt as if something was wrong, but he dared not question it. Things came and past, but nothing Youko never forgave or let go. Youko grew becoming very astute yet questionable about his relationship with his friend. They were both very different yet he was his dearest friend. His best friend soon rose again to a higher level, lieutenant of squad 12. Youko was very impressed and had decided that he was going to surprise his friend with a party. Visiting his friend again, he seemed very uneasy, but Youko didn't care. He wanted to be the one to make his friend happy, to actually be the one to make his friend really smile. Youko took his friend towards his family, a place no one has ever been to. His friend was shocked to see a party done for him and how much different Youko's bandits were from the inside. Yet just before everything was over, the shinigami was about to make a confession when squad 2 came in and crashed the party.

Trial

Youko was taken directly towards central 46 where he was judged, he was to be condemned until all of his members were killed off and then he would be killed last. It was mentioned in that court room that the soul reaper that had befriended the cold fox had been planning to capture not just him but his whole group for years and that he had finally succeeded. Youko suffered countless centuries in a dark small cell; he had no contact with anyone till finally he was taken out to be punished for all of his crimes. At the execution, his best friend was present; he no longer looked like the same man that had befriended him. He seemed broken, but the anger Youko had bottled up just exploded at the site of him. Youko died telling his dear friend how he hated him and how he would never forgive him. His friend was deeply hurt and hated himself for what he had done towards his best friend.

Life in hell
Spoiler:
After his death, Youko was sent towards the lowest pits of hell. Fighting day after day, Youko suffered greatly in the pits of hell; wielding a plant type zanpakutou, Youko could rarely defend himself until he final learned bankai. Weidling dead plants, he was finally able to defend himself even though he died over 181,000 times in total. He became very resentful and even crueler during this time, he even committed countless crimes. He soon became the horseman of the Apocalypse of Nin Utu serving under him for countless centuries until one day something strange happened, Youko was freed from the pits of hell. His best friend, now being a captain level, but had gone rogue way before Hiyori was Lieutenant had preformed a forbidden kidou thus giving up his own life and soul for him. Youko was heartbroken to learn that his best friend was truly sorry for what he did to him, so sorry that he had thrown away everything that was important to him just for him to escape once again.

Life as a human

Born in an average Japanese family, Youko was renamed Shuuichi Minamino; however being part sinner he was very rebellious and cruel as a child. His human mother loved him with all her heart and taught the once so cold hearted Kurama what human love was. She softened his heart and taught him to be kind and loving. Kurama, who actually wanted to return to the soul society for revenge as soon as he regained his spiritual pressure, learned how to love and to care and found himself unable to leave his mother. So he stayed to take care of her. He learned many neat things in the human world and especially hacking. Developing a more human personality, his sinner side became nothing, but a dark memory as he now had the chance to start over. Living the life of a human, he gained his powers back little by little by the age of ten; no one knew of his powers and so he kept it a secret. Kurama figured out that he had the power he had before he died somehow locked inside him and no matter what he did he couldn’t unlock it. For 15 years Kurama has lived the life of a human, he wasn't very good at making friends because of his last friend, but he did make many comrades and was even a secret agent of the coalition.

Being a secret agent, Kurama did all kinds of stuff and especially cross dressing and pursing others for information all the meanwhile as attending school and out of school activities. Kurama was great at multi-tasking and had even found a better use for a gigai using it to attend meeting and or school when he is out on a special mission. His experience as a theft served him well and he also figured out how to do other interesting things by experimenting with his charm. His father died when he was five however when he was fifteen his mother Shiori was remarried towards a man named Hatanaka. Hatanaka was a very good business man and had wanted Shuuichi to work for him as soon as he finished school. During his step father’s presentation at a ball, there was a terrible incident where an enemy made Kurama choose between his life and his family’s life. Kurama gave up his own life for the women whom loved him dearly and succeeded in killing the foe as a shinigami.

Academy years

As soon as Kurama died, he entered the Academdy; wanting to be just like his friend, he did everything he could to become a member of squad 12. Being quite charismatic, Kurama avoided a few clases and especially kidou as he focused on other things. People spoke to him and liked him, but Kurama paid no head as he was too busy to do anything. Opening a new project that was supposed to release the spiritual pressure that was locked inside him, Kurama ended up blowing up the project on himself. The experiment instead gave him back his animal like features that he had lost in his human life and as well got him banned from taking squad 12’s examination. Being proven to be a danger towards soul society, Kurama then began to focus on special herbs and medication as he was then accepted for squad four instead.

Squad nine

Working for the captain of squad four whom replaced Unohana, Kurama moved up the ranks rather quickly, going from 54th seat towards 32 towards 13th towards 5th and finally 3rd all within the first two months. However despite this, Kurama and his captain would countless times argue over everything; Kurama did not understand why his captain would treat him so unfairly, but he didn’t care to take it anymore. Reaserching other squads, Kurama was determining which squad to turn to when he saw Captain Riku Tomoshibi. It was the first time Kurama had actually seen the captain; squad four was on duty when there was an attack, squad nine came in just in time and Riku saved Kurama’s life without knowing who he was at the time. It was because of this Kurama decided that he was going to transfer. On the day of the transfer, Kurama’s captain harassed him and revealed the reason he had always mistreated him; despite this Kurama did not denounce him and yet his captain left on his own as Kurama became lieutenant of squad nine.

Working under Riku, Kurama began to secretly adore his captain even though his zanpakutou spirits would continuously play pranks on him. It was during this time that Kurama made two dear friends Jensen and Parius whom he met while assisting his captain in the Academy. The three were unstoppable always together gaining the tittle of the three musketeers. However as Jensen soon became captain and Parius became a Vizard, the three have been facing new trials though never once letting go of their friendship. It was during this time that Kurama realized that by using bankai he was able to unlock the power that was in him…

Side Notes:

1. Youko Kurama is about 7' tall and has golden eyes, prominent silver fox-ears, as well as a silver tail and long flowing silver hair. He has a pale palid skin tone and wears a white sleeveless yukata that resembles a toga, along with matching martial arts pants and shoes. He is only seen in this appearance in his inner world, unless he achieves Bankai. he also has plant like vines that give him more of a fairy like look as it comes down from his hair and in some parts of his body as seen in the picture.

2. The only thing this character has to do with yyh, is his looks and similar powers nothing more.

3. In bankai, Kurama's body and mind is reverted back to his past like self when he was in hell. As Youko, Kurama still has his memories about who is and what he wants, but he has no self-control on what he does. Youko is much more persistent and gets what he wants without caring for the consequences. In this form he is cruel, brutal and much more tactic; he is also very straight forward for he seems to show a much more of a pushy relationship around his captain proving himself to also be lustful when he wants to be. However his sinner-self is now bonded towards the hollow of death in his inner world, hopefully never to return again.
his personality is almost the complete opposite of his much kinder self, although he still has some respect for his superiors (such as Alexander, he would not even dare disrespect for in his previous form he was very grateful.). He doesn't seem to care for his friends, but he does in his own special uncaring way. When provoked or just plain pissed off he becomes very spiteful while when he's enjoying himself he tands to toy with his opponents.

4. Kurama is naturally 2-1; when he enters Bankai he becomes 1-4 and when he enters toukai he reaches the max tier he is on.

Looks good to me, only, 37 lbs is very skinny, even for that hight. I'd suggest going with atleast 48 lbs, so he's not a stick. Very Happy Otherwise, approved.
