| Subject: Gauge Jackson B) Mon Nov 26, 2012 1:55 am | |
| Name: Gauge Jackson Age: 23 True Age: 598 Sex: Male Personality: Gauge Jackson, a true gentleman at heart. He is the man that opens the door, he respects all. But don't be fooled, he is not unwilling to kill. He is friendly to begin with, decides that every man and woman deserves a start of respect. He believes you must give respect to receive it, however, after giving you the benefit of the doubt, you chose whether it raises or lowers. When he kills, he uses up most respect, even if you lost it all before hand, he was brought up to respect the dead. Gauge is friendly at first. He loves to strike up small talk and friendly conversation, he also knows how to read people, so he learns more from small talk than a normal man should, he was trained to be able to enter a room blind, open his eyes for 2 seconds, and be able to count out all the âredâ objects after being re-blindfolded. He uses this to analyze the person he speaks with, he is almost a human lie detector. And in his mind he is a strategist, he makes sure to remember a valuable source. When with friends, he tends to greet with a hand shake, whether it be male or female, he treats all as equal, due to that thought process, he doesn't mind hitting or killing a male as well as a female, all humans are equal in his eyes. His goals however are indecisive, it is ever changing depending on the point in time an event happens. Is first goal was to take out a mafia family that killed his âlifeâ if you will. He makes sure his goals are succeeded however, for he did take them all down, one by one. He is a man of Italian traditions, one being complete what you started, he never leaves a job half finished. He is reliable for sure. He is a man of simple pleasures despite his appearance. Being born and raised in a suite, he favors them, but all other things, he could probably live off the minimum and still be happy. He doesn't see much need for money when you have friends and family. Which to him is the best currency. A nice normal car, small house, and he is all set. Likes:1.Ice Cream 2.Cookies 3.Overwhelming his Fears Fears:1.Going permanently deaf 2.Fighting someone twenty times his size 3.Never being able to fly in a jet pack Character Appearance Height: 6'1in Weight: 149lb Physical Traits: Clothing: ~Will be stated in every first post in a thread he is in~ Accessories: he always carries a spar hat, and a pair of sunglasses. Along with a special pistol (an equipment thread will be made for it)
Fighting Style
General Fighting Style: Gauge fights with an intricate combination of sword and gun. Using both fluidly in great combination. His accuracy with the gun is impeccable able to aim and hit a target 50yards away. Although he fights close quarters. He himself is a highly skilled fighter, he tries not to rely on his doll. He uses a combination of power and stamina.
Strengths: His strong suite is manly his raw physical power. He can overwhelm most people in his tier with strength alone. He side attribute is his Stamina. Using it in a combo with strength to Take hits better . He perception is tremendous however, he can do his best at reading an opponents face and movements. You can put force his eyes closed, bring him in a room, open his eyes for just 2 seconds, then close them and he can memorize the whole room as well, down to the details. 1.Strength 2.Stamina 3.Perception
Weaknesses: His pain tolerance is almost opposite to Lancelot. Despite being high in raw strength, attacks feel as though they do more damage causing more distraction. Along with that his supporting skills are second to everyone. He can't heal well, taking a 25% resistance to healing moves including his own. Despite his amazing physical perception, sensing spiritual entities is quiet the opposite, he is unable to sense races from one another or even if one is near. Not always knowing what he is getting himself into power wise. Gauge is also much slower then average, which unfortuntly carries over to Lancelot's fusion. 1.Pain Tolerance 2.Healing Resistance 3.No spiritual perception 4.Speed
Sealed abilities:Arondigh
Non-Physical reach~ Arondight can be powered up with a cero charging the blade, while empowered it has the ability to strike a cero worth of energy through spiritual defenses and interact with other spiritual related attacks. If attacked physically no addition damage is received, however when in contact with something like a cero, it can effortlessly slice it in half, however anything stronger then that it only cuts the damage down by a cero worth of energy. Lasts 3 posts with a 1post cooldown
Doll Doll's Name: Lancelot Sealed Appearance: Call Out Command: Zeige dich Servire la vostra notte Lancelot Released Appearance: the armor on the joints is as strong as Zan steel, making it impossible for the joints to snap out of place or dislocate if he tries swinging a heavy item. Personality: Lancelot has the inability to think, he is completely berserk fighting style. He feels no pain as result, but he does get damaged, and can tell if a part of him is in active, adjusting his fighting style accordingly. He fights all on instinct he has refined for centuries. Abilities:
Armor Abilities: For Someone's Glory ~ this ability conceals Berserker's identity and personal status and skills. His body is enveloped in a black fog which constantly shifts his outline like an off-focus photograph that obscures the discerning features of the armor. The mist-like illusion also causes his image to double or triple randomly, making him appear to be a hallucination, and prevents the use of any sensing abilities, or visual abilities that effect him. Such as Camera's that take in information would only get such as his height and weight and a general picture, his power, tier, skills, and physical abilities are completely hidden as long as this abilities is active.
True Armor's Master~ Lancelot's armor provides a minor defense and regenerates almost instantly after being cut, pierced, or smashed. However this does not regenerate Lancelot himself, it makes the appearance of it however. The Armor itself acts similar to Heirro (not added boost to his defense, the defense stat is with this ability in mind)
Bone Fixation~ Lancelot's armor will form spikes that lodge into his bones to force them back into place when broken. This will cause more bleeding however and make his movements a tad more rigid as the battle progresses. Despite feeling no pain, he can still bleed out if to many bones break which well end up in him reverting back into sealed form if he loses to much blood.
Berserker's Greed~ Given the shared spiritual pressure you would think that it would be shared nicely, but Lancelot has no concept of share, he just takes as he uses it causing struggles for Gauge in personal combat when Lancelot is out.
Mad Man's Action~ Lancelot has the ability to stop his armor rejecting all momentum on him and that will be added once a post. For example, if a Cero Oscuras smacks him dead center, normally he would go flying, however using this move he would stay in the same spot (no damage reduction or anything)
Berserker's Animosity~ Lancelot, being a doll, isn't able to be felt by conventional means, however he is constantly radiating a strong killing intent. The intent feels almost like a thick aura that can make it hard to breath for people much weaker than himself (2-1 and below) and can even provide glimpses of death in the eyes of those who fight him and lose concentration.
Weapon Abilities: Form Change:Lancelot has the ability to change his primary weapon into a dual-wielding one. Normally a great sword to dual lances. He has minor control over them similar to the âforceâ to pull them to him so he is free to chuck em. He only has access to them if Gauge allows for it, whilst wielding them Lancelot gains boosts equal to Bankai in Strength, Speed, Durability, and Dexterity. Gauge loses more control over Lancelot whilst he wields these weapons.
Chained Rage: using the weapons as a catalyst, Lancelot is able to pump massive amounts of spiritual pressure in order to increase their striking power and even explosive power. When using the dual lance's the power is always cut in half and split between the two of them. The cooldown and explosive ending is equal to the amount of energy he puts into it (cero, gran rey, and Oscuras). He can also use this through his physical body (such as fist, foot, elbow, head ect.) The catalyst used always glows dark red.
Unchained Rage: In the absence of his weapon, Lancelot can substitute for pretty much anything he can pick up off he ground and pump in the same spiritual pressure as chained rage. Whilst the item is 'unchained' they have durability equivalent to Zan Steel and he becomes a master at using said item or weaponizing them. No item gains any throwing distance or speed boosts, they are only as fast and accurate as Lancelot can throw them.
- Spoiler:
Bala~ Any small rock or item that would generally be a projectile. Max size would be like a rock the size of his head. Contains the force of a balla when thrown. Lasts as long as he wishes Cero~ any reasonably sized weapon such as a crowbar, wrench, or street sign. Usually the size of his great sword. Contains the force of a Cero when thrown. Lasts as long as he wishes. Gran Rey~ smaller vehicles and simple larger items, this could range from large car tires, motorcycles, and large light posts, as well it can work on complex smaller items such as guns and weapons that can shoot out bala strength and speed ammo. However he must wait 3 posts before making a new one this size. Combat=Lasts 3 posts Oscuras~ Larger vehicles he can control and even pilot as if its his own self. He can also control over complicated machinery and launchers with cero grade ammo. Has a 4 post cooldown afterards. Combat=Lasts 2 posts
Dragon's Enemy~ A passive skill that enhances the strength of the blade against monsters with similar appearance to Dragons. This move is involuntary and mental to Lancelot's view, if he sees a monster and references it to a dragon, or a relative to a dragon, the striking power of the blade adds 2x. This effect can be activated even when a move that takes the shape of a dragon is preformed (E.I. Hitsugaya's Ice Dragon).
Strengths:Lancelot is powerful in physical aspects. He has large amounts of strength, speed, and stamina with the inability to feel pain.
weaknesses: When it comes to mentality Lancelot is not what you would say strong in that category. The Knight is a mindless berserk causing his style to be erratic and instinctive. He has little concept of when to block or dodge, and has been known to take attacks head on to try and get his own in. Lancelot's all over the place fighting style causes him almost impossible to combo with, in fact get in the way and as an ally, you may find yourself his new target. He has poor perception, only able to rely on what he actually sees, not being able to sense spiritual pressure, and has a real problem with dragons, when he sees one he will almost certainly attempt to âstrike it downâ. However if he notices a pattern of dragons being âspawnedâ he will shift his attention to the spawner ((merely meant so someone doesn't Cero dragon him to death without trying)). Being a pure blooded berserk, Lancelot is extremely difficult to control, Gauge is able to give a Target but that doesn't mean Lancelot will wander for someone else if it gets bored, and has been known to take on bigger bites then he can chew ((for example, he will take a 0tier on solo, and has infact happened before...3 times))
- Spoiler:
non fancy strength weakness writing Strength 1.Strength 2.speed 3.Stamina
Speed 1.No mentality 2.No spiritual Perception 3.Only ranged attack is one where he tosses Bala empowered object or Cero, distance and speed is dependent on himself 4. Berserker's Greed 5. Lancelot's armor is unfortunately a conductant of heat. All heavy heat based attacks (ei fire, lightning, scalding water) do 25% more damage as they heat the armor up including the bone fixation spikes.
Fusion Form
- Spoiler:
Appearance: Abilities: Gauge fuses and gains a new appearance with his doll. His only weapon is the one in the picture, he has access to all previous abilities however instead of bankai boosts he is equivalent to toukai. Exceptions: Berserker's Animosity is lost. New Abilities Physical form~Gauge creates energy of his so dense, a dagger filled with cero energy, that it forces particles in the air so tight it is considered physical. He can explode it at any given time and can use it as many times as a cero can be used. The energy burns from the density if touched by any other hands then his own. Hidden chain~The blade is connected in seconds through a chain, allowing it to be whipped out when Gauge pleases to a full 8 feet. Loop Scene~for 4 posts, Gauge traps him and his opponent in a large 20yard radius orb. The orb itself has no effects, however if a move happens to hit a wall, it will disappear in darkness and come back in the exact opposite side, as if PAC man or galactic. You a person in the wall will see nothing but darkness for mere seconds before seeing the inside of the orb again on the other side. Like an endless loop. This move as a 3 post cooldown after the 4 post are up. It effects Gauge as well. The bottom of the orb is one way, so if someone is flung up they will appear out of the ground, however you can not fall through the ground. It can take up to a gran rey, however the gran rey will pass through still with the orb dissipating. (so if fired straight forward, the gran rey will appear in the back still regardless of the orb dissipating. Protection of the Fairies~ Lancelot and Gauge's final move, using a combination of both of their best attributes, they are able to effortlessly mimic another at a basic too. The attack takes the form and abilities of the one fired however contains only neutral spiritual pressure rather then taking on the elements of the original. The form is usually a bit more chaotic *such as a dragon like attack might look more demonic and serpentine coming from Gauge, or a boost in attributes might be shown as rough and sharp aura coming out of Gauge* This move contains the same cooldown and side-effects as the original. Strengths:Strength, Durability, Spiritual Pressure. Minor Hierro on armor. weaknesses: Speed, Pain Tolerance, Spiritual perception, Healing Resistance, Range the same as before. Gauge's power swap around changing a lot of his strength's and weaknesses combing them with Lancelot. Now he uses his own energy and attacks with it unlike before with Lancelot using the energy. His spiritual pressure, strength, and Durability get the highest raise, his speed lowers down less than average. His defense is also very strong. Everything else is about average or a bit less for his stage. His own armor is as strong as a arrancar's above average Hierro Personality: Gauges own personality is now overwhelmed by Lancelot's own original personality. However a combination of Gauge is still in making it unstable. He is highly in honor now, and would do such as not strike and opponent when down. However he is completely unable to hold back in any way shape or form. He can in fact feel pain, however Lancelot's personality almost invites the pain making things hurt a bit more despite his upped Durability. In Gauges mind, he meets with Lancelot, almost like a vizard meets with his inner hollow, however not on hostile circumstances, but king and knight like circumstances. Lancelot holds all memories from before, and may be in culture shock. And with his personality dominant, he speaks in old English accent and words, usually criticized by Gauge in his head to speak modern.
Back Drop
Background: Gauge born and basically tossed as a dumpster baby at the age of 2. He had a weird effect on others. And was an outcast by society for the longest time. He was however adopted by an old fashion couple, who could have been his grandparents at the time. The taught him nothing but manners and respect. They were Italian, so they dressed him in suites quite often.
His childhood was pretty horrible at school, all of the children made fun of him for wearing a suite every day. However the adoptive parents decided it would be better to move to the homeland of Italy. Thanks to the family speaking it most the time, Gauge was fluent in Italian. He also loved to cook, and worked in a nearby restaurant serving home made style Pizza and Pasta. Sadly, one day they were short on pay, and it seemed that a local mafia owned the place. They weren't to happy and decided to make a visit to the place. In the end. There was no more restaurant, When Gauge ran home from the blazing fire that used to be his favorite work place. He realized his home too was missing. The mafia took out both the building and the family's of the workers.
The week after, Gauge set up his things and left to England. He had no more family or friends, they all died with the fire's and murder, he was now 20 at this age, and thatâs when he discovered his doll. It was in a stone by a waterfall. The memory was clearly vivid. It was a beautiful sword indeed. The sword happened to be the fabled Excalibur, however it was not to Gauge's knowledge at the time, even then. It was always rumored that the sword broke, but here it was, breathing, almost literally.
As he grasped the sword that night, his whole world changed, him and that sword were meant to be. The doll of that sword had no heart, no mind. However Gauge did, he completed the sword with his own personality, he would free it from its stone imprisonment, as he pulled it felt like it was sealed. Gauge worked out every day, so it wasn't that he was weak, after four nights of trying to pull it, it finally pulled out. The sword found a devoted partner, to spend the rest of eternity.
From then on, he has traveled the world. Trained every day and even took up Gun skills. Finding a powerful strange gun that an early mafia boss had, he stole it and had Lancelot slaughter the rest of them. He killed them, but he killed them with respect, he never killed with cold eyes. Although after that fight, he finally avenged his life. To this day he still wears a suit, tie, and hat. In memory of his loving parents. Side Notes: RP Sample:

| https://bleacherax.rpg-board.net/t33-ability-rules-and-guidelinesBrought up due to in RP post in NYC. The last rule clearly state no regardless abilities, which is exactly what For Someone's Glory is. If it was temp. and had a small cooldown, I wouldn't have minded. But it doesn't say that. Bounto are already undetectable by normal means, and the Coalition's TERC isn't by normal means (it was developed by a bounto, so it can detect a bounto because that bounto made it to do that. However, it could maybe distort such sensing abilities to make it difficult, depending on who or what it is checking it out, like the TERC and Rui and Riku could have difficulty, but someone like Rai might not be so easily fooled). Before you say Rai's visual sensing ability, it is more of a grey area. There are ways around it, such as disguising your power with a suit or your own custom race or the Reiatsu Disguiser of the Coalition's. To distort him making out your tier, a full body suit or something that effects someone's tier would do it, but it would have to be an item (like the Bio-suit). For stealth abilities, he needs to see you if you are using an ability (not an item, if an item is responsible, he won't see you) to be able to detect you (seeing your power and tier and race if it's not disguised). So if he's busy doing something else...he won't even know your there and if you're invisible (like with Bakudo 21 or 26, whichever is Kyokko) he won't see what they look like either (just their power/tier and maybe their size). With Rai, the source is important. So you need to modify the Preventing of any sensing/visual abilities to either make such things difficult to use against him or outright get rid of it. Also, you need to clarify what in the nine hells does the "skills and physical abilities are completely hidden" mean. The rest of that before that goes to what I said earlier. Below in red is what is the problem. I'm just enforcing the rules that Zenke and Anz missed. (And only looked at because of in RP.) For Someone's Glory ~ this ability conceals Berserker's identity and personal status and skills. | |

| For someone's glory isn't really a âregardless of abilityâstyle move. Last I heard Immunity was allowed, it is more seen as an immunity to observations and sensing attacks such as someone can easily be immune to poisons. And the clarity on that, as an example Anz's PATCH would not be able to get clear readings off of him in this movements, such as strength behind a punch, or an tell on the muscle movements for a certain style attack. | |

| Sorry, but again you're wrong on that. If you looked at the example in said rule, immunity to poisons/illusions wouldn't be approved anyway. Even in the General Fighting Style help section, something like that isn't approvable (actually stated in there too). So no, only immunities with your own stuff is acceptable, but not anything else. Resistance/distortion does not equal immunity. Immunities are regardless abilities/traits. If you look at Diath, she can create a cure for a poison and be immune to it temporarily (if memory serves), but she needs to first get infected by it. But that part is another discussion altogether. The PATCH thing that you said is acceptable if it applied to such things (in fact, what I said for the TERC, but again, it doesn't say that. If it did, I'd be hey okay with it). Makes things difficult to most, but not all.
The clarity is nice...but now I'm borderlined on it...perhaps if you say only mostly physical combat users might have a good idea (like Raiden) or those that pay attention to detail or the like (like Aki), but it might take a little bit to do that. Or have something similar to Yuri's Hyper Intuition, where he knows something is coming, just not know when or how.
Or another option is to make it temporary with a longevity of that part and a cooldown that starts after it stops working.

| with the whole TERC thing, i thought that it also analyzes the person, this move doesn't really stop someone from catchign him on a radar, but stuff such as identifying him through a radar, or measuring his power level would be stopped. or since you bring up Raiden, if he were to stare at Lancelot, he would not be able to tell lancelot's Tier by the looks, its not a new form of hidden so if someone can somehow sense a bount, he would be sensed, but in terms of gauging his strengths' or noticing weak points (by non-physical means) wouldn't work on him. | |

| Oi. The fuck are you two pissing in here for. This is why you are supposed to go "HAI RENA THAT GUYZ SAYIN THIZ STUFFZ AND IT DUN MAKE NU SENSE!"
>_> Baka's. both of you.
This ability was approved because he isn't undetectable. You just can't tell his power or tier or what abilities he possesses. He's still perfectly findable via spiritual combat sensing because his spiritual energy isn't hidden, you just can't tell how powerful he is based on feeling his energy, also he just is distorted visually and hence Raiden's eyes would not work on him even IF he didn't ALREADY block such sensing abilities.
I'm beginning to lose my calm over this crap. You both know the two of you always end up bickering so I have NO IDEA why YOU *points at Jun* didn't bring this up to OTHER STAFF instead of doing something you KNOW is going to cause an arguement with Kano and YOU! *points at Kano* should have brought this to our attention the instant it happened instead of arguing back with him!

| Stamina: Uh...then it's average? You're contradicting on your description/where it is at on this one and it's confusing me.
Weaknesses: So, despite having strength as a strength, he can't block worth shit? Which racial skills can't he use well? Some of them are environmentally limited (HM and SS are the only places some can be used, like the healing capability), so those are fairly small...so the only ones I can think of is the innate stealth. How in the hell is being able to control his doll extremely well a weakness? That's a strength, in which the doll's fighting style sorta counters by making it difficult to tag team...though still being able to tag team is technically a strength as well, as some dolls do all the fighting. Or in the case of Simon/Miles, Miles turns into a sword. Idk...once you clean/clarify some of this up, we'll see how it goes.
Extreme Durability~ Arondight can not be broken by any means: Extreme tier differences say hi. Not common, but always a possibility. Considering he's gonna retain his tier of 1-1, unless you say otherwise, you don't have to worry about it anyways.
Doll Attunement: What do you mean by another bounto trying to control Lancelot? There would be no way for another bounto to control Lancelot because he's not their doll...and no ability would be approved that would be like that/allow that...
Non-Physical reach: Just to make sure, a shinigami's zanpakutou, a Quincy's bow, Arrancar's zanpakutou and Hierro are not effected? Or shields like Riku's Toukai shield? Otherwise...this one may need to cost energy to use or have some cooldowns or something, to do what it does...it's...very similar to how Alexei's Soul Eater works, except the only thing that thing can't cut are last resorts and zan equals. And Soul Eater is an event weapon/with an event character...only thing you can afford with that thing is grazes. So I need to know how similar this is to that before hitting it with ma nerf hammer.
For Someone's Glory: Just to make sure, the above posts still apply, correct? When I brought this up the first time?
True Armor's Master: ...huh? Can't be broken, yet can be broken/pierced? Clearly it can be broken, it just acts like a moderate to tough and REGENERATIVE armor...dude, please don't pull this crap, it's either one or the other, not both.
Mad Man's Action: Basically a poor man's Inertia Negation...it's fine as is, but if you want to buff it, I'd recommend looking that ability on Michael I believe, since Sojourner doesn't have it anymore.
Berserker's Animosity: Realize this is mixed results. Mostly, probably won't effect many people. Even Riku in his current state. Jun would be effected at first, but will overcome it. Yuri would laugh. Nick would grin. Miles would wet himself...even in sword form...Simon wouldn't mind it though. If he had the parts, Yuma would likewise wet himself.
Immortal Madness: I don't like this at all...Lancelot already has high stamina...actually, I don't see a real need for Gauge to even support Lancelot...he's a monster already...
I need clear cut, what's a strength, what's a weakness. None of this vague crap. Label. Specify.
That's what I have. | |

| some of this stuff is from back on RoTR and i really didn't want to rewrite it all from scratch so forgive some inconsistancies xD they will be fixed after this edit
Extreme Durability~ i forget why that was added, i think i was just lazy to delete it since it didn't make a difference
Doll Attunement~ Contridicts some balancing weaknesses so Deleted that now
Clarified on Non-Physical Reach and added duration + Cooldown. It is also Gauges only "ability", everything else is passive or active to Lancelot only
For Someone's Glory~ Nothing has change for it, don't worry
Mad Man's Action: Unless i can add the amount of times i can use it, it already does what i want it to do xD.
Berserker's Animosity~ i understand
Immortal Madness ~ im willing to make it only add one post, but i mean the odds of him even making it to the third time is less then 1%.
Rewrote strengths and weaknesses

| The physical perception part worries me a bit. Seeing the odd detail is fine...even in combat...but the description of it...almost makes it seem like he also has combat perception as well?
For Someone's Glory: Telling me not to worry does not calm me. But I'm taking that first part that it does in fact still apply.
Immortal Madness: Still don't like it. It kinda sets a bad precedent to me to allow something like this. Sorry man...but I'd rather you just get rid of it, no matter the odds of it being used/being successful.
Non-Physical reach: In Fusion form, same limits as before, in which I'm consulting with Orgoth on it to see if its first incarnation is even good.
The weaknesses on all three worry me a bit. They're all fairly minor, for the exception of the Fusion form, which actually has one major weakness. I'm checking in with Orgoth on his thoughts on those. Lancelot's might be ok simply because of the sheer number of them. But we'll see.

| Physical Perception~ i don't really understand what you mean there
For someones glory~ don't know what there is to be worried about but whatever works xD
Non-physical reach~ ill take it off of Fusion form, the only reason i really expect to get away with the ability is cause Gauge would only have that one.
Immortal madness~ for now ill rid it, however how does it sound if i change it to a Final ability that can reflect any move once per post, if thats alright ill add it in otherwise consider Immortal Madness gone
added a weakness to gauge and a differet strength Added another weakness to Lancelot

| - Combat Perception wrote:
- Ability Name: Combat Perception
Description: With this ability the user is able to easily understand an opponent's method of thinking and fighting and anticipating their moves. Once they understand their enemies strategy, they are able to find their flaw and weakness and take them down with little effort. While some users of this method do not use it as part of their primary fighting style, it is helpful in emergencies against difficult opponents where ordinary methods will not work against them. This increases his accuracy against the opponent in question by 50%. This ability does not work with non-biological beings.
^ That's what I mean, except the percent can vary, though the max allowed is 80%. Immortal Madness: The problem with that is the wording. A final ability is something that takes your remaining strength in the hopes of a last ditch effort to finish the fight. This is usually a very powerful boom or boost that results in fatigue state afterwards, and usually for the rest of the thread. Now, if you want to make it a final ability (because the way it is, it's not, just a normal ability and is fine as is, just a minor thing of no reflecting finals or just mitigating damage, depending on what that final is), you can have it do that in a type of mirrior way and either reflect the final and/or copy it (to address something like Jensen's, which is a big boost for x posts) or something similar like that. The only thing would be it's only usable in your fusion form. As an example, let's use Kai's. He charges, everyone waits for the bloody thing to come down, you see it coming. You use the ability and fire that beam of neutral magic to counter it. Huge explosion happens, buildings topple, Kai and Gauge gets flown away, maybe caught in the blast, both are basically down for the count...thinking about it, it's more of a copy than a reflection, but it's still unique in that regard anyways. But your choice. Strengths/Weaknesses is a bit better, but I'd still like Orgoth's input.

| Changed the name to Protection of the Fairies, i think i got what you ment and i do like the concept, let me know if the ability itself is alright
on the Combat perception note, nah he just notices small details real fast, nothing as far as to predict moves with great accuracy. if someone shunpos past him he might notice it (not who it is, just the fact someone did that)

| Hey there. Just so you know, this analysis is not personal in any way. It's just I want to be the best staff I can be, and the only way I know how is to enforce the rules and be fair.
Right. Here's what I have.
Non-Physical Reach: I just need a bit of clarification for this. What happens if somebody fires a Gran Rey Cero at Gauge and he slashes it? Will it still explode or will your slash stop it? This is important when we consider the cooldown and such.
Protection of the Fairies: I'm reluctant to get into another debate about mimicry abilities, given what happened with Temida. I'ma just say this. I'm against this type of ability for a regular PC. I believe it takes away from the fun and the challenge of making a cool and unique final. For an event character, it can be a cool challenge though. I know we have Jun's Model X, who can copy multiple abilities, but the trade-off is he can't copy finals, because he has to get hit by an attack to copy it, which won't work because a final will defeat him. That, and mimicry is a major part of his character. Gauge and Lancelot are in all respects battle-tanks, but you say their abilities mix to give them Mimicry, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but that is not the point. There is no rule to put to you about this, and after the thing with Rena I don't want to be drawn into a long argument, but that is my thoughts on this. I am against this final. If the character in question had mimicry as a major part of his gimmick, then I might be a little more lenient. But Gauge is basically a berserker battle tank. The move does not fit in my opinion. I am sorry, but this is my decision.
Chained/Unchained Rage: Fine for the most part, but I need you to take out the parts where you have separate cool-downs for combat and social. For abilities of any kind, cool-downs should be universal. There is no reliable way to distinguish between social and combat in a thread. I mean, you might start a social thread, but if it comes to blows it becomes combat. Yes.
Lancelot's strengths and weaknesses: I need at least one more concrete major weakness before we go with it. Of the ones you have, two are moderate weaknesses and the other five are more so character personality flaws than actual physical weaknesses. The range one is lessened by your Unchained Rage like you say, though in the power description you say it goes up to Cero Oscuros, which lessens it more, and given his immense strength, his throwing range is likely to be quite far as well. If you want you can still include 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7, but number 1 alone would cover all of that so they essentially amount to one minor weakness.
That's all I have. Thank you for your patience and time. Once this is all sorted, you have my approval as well.

| Changed Idea for Non-PHysical Reach, i think this one is easier to manage
Chained/Unchained Rage~ i think the only reason i did that was to introduce lancelot on a motorcycle or some shit, took it off as i really shouldn't have in the first place. nOt really due to the social combat difference but because i don't think Lancelot will ever be in a social situation xD
Strengths and weaknesses~ fair enough, took out some of those "weaknesses" as your right they are just side effects of his mindlessness and added one other weakness to it.
Protection of Fairies: THe idea of the ability is mixing Gauge's strong perception strength and Lancelot's overall battle history along with together's better control over spiritual pressure. you claim he ius pure battle tank when the idea behind this character is, "oh shit" as in the things he does is ment to surprise and even instill fear without the use of illusions and such. he is a character you don't know your winning against until you already won and the final is the epitome of "oh shit".
the fact that a chjaracter can decide to ultimatly end this battle as he prepares his final just to see this character start mirroring the movements, only the user knows whats coming (infact even Lancelot and Gauge don't know what the move does until they use it). it works by Gauge's perception reading the movements while Lancelot's history of combat filling in any blanks he needs. Thats why the move he uses is more rustic in appearance and non-elemental, because its the first time he is using it and doesn't have access to elements.
it's uniquness comes from how its used and the idea it comes from. i love the fact that gauge wouldn't even know what ability he is using. the idea of possible fear or fun that can extend from the original user now having such an attack shot back at them. i understand your stance against mimicry and respect it, however i disagree with it myself.
This is the only defence im providing for this ability, if you still choose to deny it off the principle that you think it doesn't fit my chaaracter then so be it, ill remove it without a second word. however i think the ability fits Gauge nicely in his theme.

| Non-Physical Reach: You say it's more manageable, which is great. However, I'm still having a hard time understanding certain details. Maybe it's just me. I think I have it down, but you wrote it really weirdly and it was hard to follow. So here's what I think this ability does, tell me if I'm wrong. - What I think your power does:
Basically, you channel cero-level energy into your sword, allowing you to cut energy attacks in half, up to a cero in strength. Anything stronger gets reduced by a cero instead. Lasts for 3 posts or until an attack is cut, whichever comes first. 1 post cooldown.
Amirite? If so, cool. If not, correct me. Strengths and Weaknesses: Looks better, but I'ma highlight some things I found when looking more closely the Range weakness and the power it relates to. See the next slide. Unchained Rage: Here's the thing. Before we re-ignite this whole "I have Range as a weakness but it really isn't" feud, I just want to point out some things that you may or may not have factored in. - Kano wrote:
- Gran Rey~ smaller vehicles and simple larger items, this could range from large car tires, motorcycles, and large light posts, as well it can work on complex smaller items such as guns and weapons that can shoot out bala strength and speed ammo. However he must wait 3 posts before making a new one this size. Combat=Lasts 3 posts
Oscuras~ Larger vehicles he can control and even pilot as if its his own self. He can also control over complicated machinery and launchers with cero grade ammo. Has a 4 post cooldown afterards. Combat=Lasts 2 posts Now. Despite writing in the Weakness entry that he's only able to chuck Bala and Cero powered things, the power clearly goes up to the Oscuras level. That's flaw #1. Also, from Gran Rey upwards, he can "weaponize" guns, making them as hard as zan steel and also mastering them instantly. Let's analyse that. Range is a weakness, but he can grab a gun, any old gun, and make it unbreakable and become a master marksman with it. I think this fully cancels out his range weakness and then some. Also, for the Oscuras version you say he can control larger vehicles and pilot them as if it's his own self. If he "weaponizes" a jet plane, it can go quite far in 2 posts. Basically, as is, Range is nowhere near a weakness. It will need to be removed. I think I went on a bit there for such a small point. Sorry. I don't drink coffee, so I retard. Okay, now for the crux of the issue. I can see where your coming from. I can. But, there are a few flaws here, and they harm the final's viability overall. First, even if this final somehow made it to the active roster, it would have to be a case-by-case thing. For example, my character Laura Fisher's final requires two specially made bullets that only she and Gaige can make, that she channels all of her power into. There is no way for Gauge and Lancelot to replicate this without the bullets. So that wouldn't work. Clara Firestorm's final relies on the unique qualities of her blade and sheath to absorb massive amounts of energy and than discharge it as a massive energy slice. It wouldn't work on them. He also wouldn't be able to copy Thanatos's final if it gets approved, because unless Gauge has super-zoom lenses in his eyes, he can't see the nanites in action. So there are a number of finals it wouldn't work on, which reduces it's usability straight away. Next, regarding the fitting in with the character. I see what you are trying to say, that Gauge and Lance are meant to instil fear without illusions and such. But that is the psychological side. I only referred to them as battle-tanks in the physical sense, given their high strength and durability and strong armor. It's sort of their default role. You also say that it fits because of Gauge's perception and Lancelot's experience. But they are 598 years old. They pre-date almost all of the active humans, fair enough. But compared to the spiritual beings that inhabit the site, they are relatively young, meaning that Lancelot's experience isn't as superior as it seems like. The final point. Finals are always generated from some kind of inner qualities of the user. For Serion, it's generally power or nanites. For Shinigami most of the other races, it involves massive amounts of spiritual energy. Copying a final on visual appearance alone is not possible. For example, Liv Firestorm's final is her Demon Fist Knock-out. If you were to examine it at a purely visual level, she simply throws a punch. The rest of it happens behind the scenes, with the power and such. I know Gauge is incredibly perceptive, and Lancelot has experience, but given the fact that their fusion form has poor Spiritual Perception, but logically copying it is not possible. I realize that as an anime universe real world laws do not necessarily apply, but in order to immerse the viewer, universes generally adhere to logic, to make it relatable. So, logically, this final does not work. It bends logic too much for me to allow. I am sorry. This is my decision. I understand Jun disagrees with me, but he left it up to me also. Sorry Kano.
