Personality: Despite his ability to appear like a perfectly normal human, especially one who is able to smile, be cheerful, and be understanding, Hangyaku is, in actuality, quite heartless, sadistic, and malicious. It is also shown with his cruel sarcasm and his inability to see good in much of anyone. Hangyaku often contemplates about the nature of human beings. He is also able to betray anyone, at a moments notice. This being from his time as a Human. He cares little of the wars between Shinigami, Arrancar, Human's and Sinners. He does believe, however that Sinners are the greatest race, and will almost always accuse other races of being inferior.

In battle, Hangyaku retains all of his personality. He is cold, and malicious on the battlefield, always aiming for a killer blow, and he is not one to underestimate opponents, stemming from his many years of experience in war, and fighting in general. He hates to be looked down upon, however, and will become quite irritated over it. However, this is one of the only times someone might see him become angry.

He seems to find humans, in general, to be "difficult creatures," but he also states that their struggles and lofty goals make them "interesting." He is also intrigued about how insatiable they are as they are willing to "drag others down to get what they want, even in death". He wishes to study them a bit, having not been human in so long. This being said, he will still not hesitate to kill one, even if they are very interesting to him. Sometimes, he'll just kill them for no reason, just to see the looks on their faces. It brings a smile to his face, like nothing else.

Hangyaku takes on the appearance of a tall, male adult with a pale complexion, shoulder length blonde hair (He dyed after he betrayed the Ryūkōtei Clan), with his bangs somewhat framing his face and red eyes. He is lean of build, however his clothes hide a bit a muscle, hinting that he is stronger than he looks.

General Fighting Style: Like most of the Ryūkōtei Clan, Hangyaku is a fast man, able to deal strikes with his speed. He is also gifted in the Sinner Ranzig. He also has trained his strength, to a degree, surprising opponents who seem to think he is weak. Having used swords all of his life, he is naturally very gifted in their usage. He is much more deadly, with two blades, however. He is calm, and collected in battle, this coming from his many years alive.

Weapon / Hellish Modifications / ..Tentacle?: Hangyaku wields two katana, very different, yet somehow similar. One is a normal katana, except for the hilt. It consists of three skulls, with two bone-like appendages poking out on each one, equaling six in all. They are all black. The blade is name Juuchi Yosamu (10,000 Cold Nights). The second had a black dragon for a hilt, until the place where the blade connects, which is golden, and holds no special look to it. The blade itself is silver. This blade is called Hikari no Shi (Death of Light). Both of these are as hard as Zanpakuto steel.

Name: Dark Circle
Effect: By plunging one his blades into the ground, and infusing Rietsu into it, Hangyaku creates a black circle, about 30 feet wide. Lightly visible is a pentagram, as well. The darkness is pulled into the area, and becomes spikes, around 4 feet high. If hit with them, they will explode, with the force of a Cero. This will last for 2 posts, before a 4 post cool-down.

Name: Black Shield
Effect: Creating a bubble of Darkness around him, Hangyaku can block anything up to a Gran Rey, for 2 posts, before a 3 post cool-down.

Name: Black Beam
Effect: Hangyaku charges black energy in his hand, before firing it off. It is a Gran Rey powered move, and has a 3 post cool-down. He can also rapid fire it, but it goes down to Cero strength. He can only fire 4 of the Cero powered variants. That leads to a 3 post cool-down, as well.

Name: Dark Teleportation.
Effect: Hangyaku can teleport, to any area of Darkness around him, up to 500 yards, as long as there is a little Darkness there. It has a two post cool-down, and can be used 10 times a thread.

Name: Darkness Manipulation
Effect: Hangyaku is able to control the Darkness in an area, as he pleases. He can make it whatever he wants, with bigger things costing more energy. He can do this for up to 4 posts, with a 4 post cool-down.

Name: Black Rune
Effect: By cutting a rune into his right arm, Hangyaku can use this rune, to power up his abilities, once a thread. All of his powers are boosted X4, and it lasts for 3 posts, before leaving Hangyaku incredibly drained.

Name: Imperfect Dragon Wave
Effect: Despite being a Ryūkōtei, Hangyaku never learned the pinnacle of their power. The True Dragon Wave. However, he has managed to create his own, imperfect version. Colored black, it fires a large wave of energy at his opponents, with the power of a Cero Oscuras. He can use this twice, before he can't use it again, for the rest of the thread, and he enters fatigue state.



Background: Hangyaku was born into a rich, noble cast. As a slave, of course. Cursed to work for his "master" all of his life, he ran away from that life, at 7. He wandered around, not knowing that bandits were on the prowl. He was attacked, when he was least expecting it. knocked down, and defenseless, he could only watch, with a cold distance, as if he was not all there. The bandit noted this, before plunging the blade at the boy. Only for it to be stopped, by a beautiful looking katana. And, holding it, was a man, with black, somewhat spiky black hair, and he wore a simple Kimono. His eyes were determined, on the bandits. "Do not touch this boy. " "Oh, and who are you to stop us?" The bandits asked, one of them laughing. "I am the Head of the Ryūkōtei Clan. I am the Atama Ryūkōtei." The bandits faces fell, as their fear kicked in. Atama went to work, killing all of them, while Hangyaku watched. He watched with interest, as he saw the power this man possessed. After it, Atama wiped the blood off of his katana, and walked over to the young boy. Reaching out his hand, he sad "Come with me, and we can care for you." Hangyaku, for the first time in his life, believed this mans words to be true. Taking his hand, he went with Atama, and officially became a Ryūkōtei.

After many years, Hangyaku was a bonafide threat, on the battlefield. however, he thirsted for more, and Atama could see a darkness grow in the young man. He opted to not give Hangyaku the Dragon Wave, signaling that he was now a main warrior of the Clan. However, Hangyaku took this a sign of betrayal. He vowed that he would ruin the Clan, for taking away his opportunity, and sent some letters, to enemies of the Ryūkōtei Clan. The next week, Atama got letters from several Lords, who wished to take out the Clan. Smiling inwardly, Hangyaku never felt like this before. He loved this feeling, and decided to never let it go. Secretly, he began to plan to betray his own betrayal, by killing the nobles who would kill his family. The Ryūkōtei Clan massacre was a great day, in the mind of Hangyaku. He smiled the entire time, and chuckled at a particularly gruesome kill. However, near the end, he enacted his own plan, and had the Nobles killed, by some of the guards, after Hangyaku bought them off. He became the lord of all their regions, and lived like a King, outlasting all of the Ryūkōtei's he knew of. Unaware to him, Ryūkōtei's were born, with a pure lineage from Atama himself. These grew up to be incredibly fierce warriors, learning the very technique he was never allowed to attempt. They stormed his house, and killed everyone, before finally confronting the traitor himself. Hangyaku was a great fighter, but against the pure strength, numbers, and lineage, he lost, and was killed. For his sins, he was sent to hell.

In hell, Hangyaku would become a Sinner, with more power than he could've dreamed. He harnessed it, falling even deeper into the darkness, until the Sinner leader took notice, and decided to meet Hangyaku. However, afterwards, even the Leader feared Hangyaku's traitorous ways, as he was willing to betray anyone, to get his own way, even if it meant taking out his own leaders. The leader had Hangyaku sealed, and put away, in the deepest reaches of Hell, at the time. There, he waited. and there, he remains.
Side Notes: I have permission for him to be feared for his traitorous ways. He is also going to be rped out of his comatose state.
