Emi's tier up challenge with Temida

A young man dashed and landed 10 feet away from this small child. “good afternoon Captain Emi, I hope your ready to begin” the man smiled, his wrist was balanced on the hilt of his katana strapped at his side. He wore the captains haori symbolizing his position as captain of squad three. His hair was down to his eyes as it blew in the air slightly, it was dark blue which seemed to contrast his bright yellow eyes. The young man could not sense spiritual pressure however the essence of life, he had no idea how much spiritual pressure he stood up straight, his clothing seemed to droop a bit, due to the fact they were weighted over 200lb. “ I hope your ready for a good sparring” he smiled. He knew how a captain of his division would act so he would keep to melee attacks just for fun, this was a spar not a serious fight. The captain slid down slightly and gripped onto the katana. “You make the first move, its always good for youth to step forward” he smiled.

Temida was a bit intrigued in the style this boy used, perhaps its time to experiment a bit, Temida grew one claw on his finger and slashed it down at the same time rising his blade, the claw was aimed at the wrapping holding his blade into place so when he swung the blade up, the sheath was still in it. They both collided however he did feel good strength coming from the hit, then the zanpakuto came to his chest, Temida gripped his sheath with his other hand and then pulled the blade out knocking the child's attack off balance, he then pushed forward, on hand blocking one attack, other hand countering the second, Temida was not to good with two handed sword combat but better than the average beginner due to his fighting with both hands in claw form, he parried the attacks back however soon it became Temida being pushed back instead of Emi, the style would be useful later, however for now he would keep to his traditional, the next attack he let go of the sheath, it would be flung back not that far since the captain of squad three put enough force to still parry the attack, he grabbed the blade with his other hand and began is real counter.

He swiftly moved his blade now parring both attacks as effective as before, but with stronger power behind it. Temida was a bit impatient as Emi hopped into the air, Temida lept with him keeping up with the movements and swung the blade down he slid his other hand up to the dull side to push down even stronger in the air making an attack strong enough to fling a person into the ground.
